Leftist politicians constantly pass new restrictive laws to protect you from yourself, because
liberals assume that you're stupid. And if you vote for them, they're right.
You don't know what to eat without being told
You probably don't know that cigarettes are bad for you
You have to be told what to put in your kids' school lunches
The overprotective nanny state will protect you from yourself

Clinton Says Trump Voters Were 'More Vulnerable To False Claims. Former President Bill Clinton believes Trump voters
were particularly vulnerable to false claims, or fake news, because they felt economically trapped in their rural communities.
Brazile's book accidentally reveals what the Democratic Party really thinks about women. [Scroll down]
After attempting to cajole women into believing they were obliged to vote for Clinton, now Brazile is scapegoating them as a
key reason why the Democrats lost. Brazile has implied that, but for the pride and excitement of a bunch of dumb women, she
would have changed the Democratic ticket and thus prevented the most devastating electoral defeat in the history of her party.
How Leftism Makes Us Stupid.
Perhaps the worst thing about having an exclusively leftist media is that it makes all of us, right and left, stupider.
Take for example that media's reaction to the latest Islamist terror attack in Manhattan. Evil loser Sayfullo Saipov
follows the ISIS playbook by driving a rented van over innocent civilians, killing eight. He jumps out of the van
shouting "Allahu Akbar!" (Allah is the greatest) and later tells police he's glad about what he did and requests an ISIS flag
in his hospital room. In reporting the event, CNN Crime and Justice reporter Shimon Prokupecz refused to share the police
description of the killer after he was caught. Because he's a journalist, and the last thing we want is to have journalists
going around giving people information! CNN's Jake Tapper responded to news of the loser's Arabic shout by remarking inanely
that Allahu Akbar is "sometimes said under the most beautiful of circumstances, and too often we hear it being said in moments
like this." He later clarified that he was referring to beautiful circumstances like weddings and births. Yeah, what
if the guy had been waving a Confederate flag? They wear those at some weddings too. [...] None of which is to make fun
of a tragedy, of course, but only of the absurd reaction of the leftist press.
Round up the usual
reminders. In Barack Obama's world, Islamist terrorism was never about terrorism. When Muslims went on jihadi
rampages shouting "Allahu akbar," the motive was always a deep secret to be kept from the American people. In the eyes of Obama
and his crew, we couldn't handle the truth. The Islamic State — not Islamic. The Islamic Republic of
Iran — not Islamic. [...] How stupid do they think we are? [Video clip]
Poll: 68% of Voters Say Dems Own
Obamacare. For a year, the Democrats and the legacy media have waged a relentless propaganda campaign calculated to
convince the public that Obamacare's myriad failures — from skyrocketing premiums to stagnant enrollment —
are the result of sabotage by President Trump and congressional Republicans. [...] It seems, however, that "the stupidity of the
American voter" has been greatly exaggerated. A new survey shows that more than two-thirds of registered voters believe former
President Obama and the Democrats are responsible for the dilapidated condition of the "Affordable Care Act."
liberal media's meltdown. Reaching deep in their drawer of smug, CNN unleashed a "Facts First" initiative, starting with
an ad featuring an apple, with a voice-over warning viewers that some awful, yet unnamed, person or network is trying to convince you
the apple is a banana. While a juvenile attempt to discredit President Trump's complaints about the network's shoddy news
coverage, they manage only to remind us of why they're in this fix in the first place. What CNN reveals with this abject
sanctimony is their contempt for the viewers themselves.
Progressive Machine Takes a Big Hit in Cook Country, Illinois. Here, in essence, is the recipe that progs have
used to grab power over the rest of us: [#1] Declare a problem that urgently needs to be solved. In the soda tax
case, the problem is the "obesity epidemic" (an expression that invokes a public health rationale for exerting extraordinary
controls that otherwise would be unconstitutional — think quarantining, for instance). [#2] Gin up
"studies" that cast blame on a convenient target, which is then demonized as "greedy" or "uncaring" or some other quality that
progs imagine they alone lack. [#3] As the target becomes unpopular thanks to the propaganda campaign, move to
implement a tax that is justified as punishing the evildoers, while guiding the rest of us into behavior that supposedly will
solve the problem.
Pulls Announcer from UVa Football Game -- Because His Name Is Robert Lee. The man shown to the left is
sportscaster Robert Lee. The man to the right is Confederate General Robert E. Lee. ESPN was afraid that viewers
would mix them up. Mr. Lee (the one who didn't die in 1870) was scheduled to announce next weekend's University of
Virginia football game against William and Mary. This match-up will be hosted in Charlottesville, which has a statue of
Gen. Lee (who never provided NCAA play-by-play). ESPN decided that this was far too confusing for their viewers to process.
The Editor says...
Ordinary viewers don't care what sports announcers' names are. It doesn't matter if the commentator's name is Chuck Roast
or Patty O'Furniture: The names will be forgotten at the end of the broadcast, or about two seconds after the last
time the names appear at the bottom of your TV screen. (And if those names never came up in superimposed text, who
would notice?) I suspect that even the most rabid sports fan can't recall the names of the announcers on any televised
sporting event they saw last week.
deleted emails are still floating around somewhere. If The New York Times, the Washington Post and now ABC News
aren't embarrassed yet, then there is no hope for what is called the Main Stream Media. Another slew of e-mails the
other day show how these news organizations tried their best to downplay a very suspicious meeting between Bill Clinton and
then-Attorney General Loretta Lynch on an airport tarmac at Phoenix in June 2016. [...] Hillary has offered the same
nonsensical explanation that Bill used when discussing the tarmac meeting — the missing emails were only about
daughter Chelsea's wedding. And yoga. Again, that's the Clintons' way of saying that Americans are stupid enough
to believe anything.
can't help themselves, creating Trump voters in New Jersey. Keep it up, you coastal elites. Keep telling
the unwashed deplorables how much you loathe them, where they live, their tastes, habits, and even where they go on
vacation. Ridicule the things about President Trump that endear him to people that resent the people who seem to be in
charge of everything. In fact, go ahead and deliver a scathing insult to the Garden State of New Jersey and its
estimated 8.994 million residents.
your 'cognitive privilege,' all you smart people! Progressives, crazed with identifying new forms of
oppression attached to the currently fashionable catchword "privilege," have finally embraced the stupid as a victim
class. Hey, let's celebrate stupidity! Just ponder for a moment all the potential grand marshals for the
inevitable Stupidity Day Parade in New York City once the stupid are organized into a grievance-powered pressure group.
Sharpton Criticizes Ivanka Trump with Worst Grammar You've Ever Seen! The Reverend Al Sharpton is attacking Ivanka Trump.
Even worse, he's supposed to be a gifted speaker. I don't see any indication of that, myself, but Democrats are falling over themselves
to christen terrible speakers on the left as being shining orators.
Trying to scare us isn't working anymore.
These intellectually barren demagogues believe all Americans are as brainless as Ray Bolger in the Wizard of Oz but we 'deplorables' who voted
for Trump are not the ones cerebrally challenged. We're not the ones who've fallen for the biggest disaster hoax of all time — global
warming. Nope. Our brains are working as fine as our president's and when we read that none of Al Gore's Inconvenient Truths
have come true; that the polar bears are thriving; the earth's ozone layer is repairing itself and that some animals are being removed from the
endangered lists, we have to restrain ourselves from shouting — "Told you so."

Media Is Now Blaming Dead Veterans For Clinton's Loss. The media is now blaming dead veterans for Hillary Clinton's
loss in the 2016 presidential election. If fewer men and women had died in combat, particularly in key swing states, Clinton
might be president, The Intercept reported. The theory is a new one in a long list of explanations offered for her totally
unexpected loss, from Russia to the patriarchy, to FBI Director James Comey's handling of the email investigation, to her own
staff. The dead veterans theory is based on a study of the relationship between parts of the country that felt the effects
of war through the loss of loved ones and pro-Trump votes. Had those loved ones made it home from the war alive, the theory
goes, the election might have flipped to Clinton.
Stelter Blames 'Media Illiterate' Americans for Fake News Phenom. CNN's Brian Stelter recently ranted about the
phenomenon of "fake news" and explained to the nation exactly who's to blame for it: media-illiterate Americans. [Video clip]
[...] Stelter's problem is that he can't tell the difference between the leftist propaganda versus actual truth.
Producer Trashes Voters, President Trump on Video. Project Veritas released new video of a CNN producer calling American voters
"stupid as ****" and admitting "90% of us are on board" with anti-Trump views. "We all recognize he is a clown, that he is hilariously
unqualified for this," Jimmy Carr, an Associate Producer at CNN New Day said. "He's really bad for this and he does not have America's
best interest at heart." Carr flatly admits that "90 percent of us are on board" at the network, referring to the network's left-leaning
bias. The video is the third in a series Jame O'Keefe's investigative organization dubbed American Pravda, which aims to expose media bias
at the now scandal-plagued CNN.
NBC Editor: Media Must
Remember Readers Are Not 'as Ignorant, as Stupid as We Think They Are'. CNBC editor Nikhil Deogun said members of the press needed
to stick to facts and remind themselves that their readers "are not as ignorant, as stupid as we think they are" during a discussion Wednesday
[6/28/2017] on media in the Donald Trump era.
Stroke. One would have thought
the shocking loss of Jon Osoff to Karen Handel in Georgia would have snapped the system out of its coma. At least it
should alert them to the dangers of being transfixed by their own narrative. After all, when you keep losing the chess
game to an opponent believed by the media to have the IQ of an orangutan, it's got to be more than bad luck, perhaps caused
by ignoring the objectively real in order to serve one's mental boxes.
Halts Law Professor: My Audience Is Too Dumb To Understand You. "We're on television and this might be
getting too technical," said CNN's Fareed Zakaria while interrupting a law professor's explanation of relevant statutes
pertaining to obstruction of justice. On Sunday's [6/11/2017] GPS, Zakaria invited two law professors —
Elizabeth Foley of Florida International University and Laurence Tribe of Harvard Law School — to discuss
possibilities of pursuing President Donald Trump with charges of obstruction of justice. Foley was interrupted by
Zakaria as she rejected Tribe's assertion of federal statutes pertaining to obstruction of investigations and proceeding
(18 U.S. Code § 1503 and 18 U.S. Code § 1510) being applicable to Trump's conduct.
Why elites hate.
Nine years after Barack Obama accused small-towners of clinging to guns or religion, nearly three years after Jonathan Gruber
was shown to have attributed ObamaCare's passage to the stupidity of the American voter, and eight months after Hillary
Clinton pronounced half of Donald Trump's voters "irredeemable," Democrats are now getting some sophisticated advice:
You don't win votes by showing contempt for voters.
Study: Journalists Are a Bunch of Drunks With Sub-Average Brain Function. [Scroll down] I'd agree that a
parade of unforced errors and stupid controversies from the very beginning made the media's job much easier, but I don't think 'the
merits' fully account for the entirety of the enormous gap between the tone and content of Obama's coverage (+18) versus Trump's (-60).
Most of the media is appalled by Trump and furious that he won; not only because they're pro-Democratic liberals (which most of them are),
but because his victory blew apart their near-unanimous consensus that he had virtually no chance. Proving the Smart Set wrong
angers the Smart Set. But are elite-level journalists really the Smart Set?
5 Biggest Things Liberals Get Wrong About Themselves. [#1] Liberals Are Better Than Everyone Else: If there's one thing that liberals are
sure of beyond all others, it's that they are better, smarter and more capable than everyone else by virtue of being liberals. [...] No matter who
you are or what you do, there are always tens of millions of liberals who believe they have a better idea of what you should be thinking, feeling and spending
your money on.
Magical Misery Tour. If it's anyone's fault that Hillary lost, it's the "States" part of the United
States. Is it fair that 3 million progressive Hillary voters in New York City and Los Angeles County should be outvoted
by a bunch of hicks in flyover country who can't even get 4G on their iPhone 7S? As another defeated candidate once said,
"This anonymous clan of slack-jawed troglodytes has cost me the election, and yet if I were to have them killed, I would be
the one to go to jail. That's democracy for you." That's the position that the #Resistance, whose newest member is
Hillary herself, embodies.
Nye, the Misuse of Science Guy: Why Science Doesn't Answer Public Policy Questions. Science was championed as the answer
to our problems, with scientists such as Neil deGrasse Tyson and non-scientists like Bill Nye held up as messiahs for the noble cause.
Now Nye's new Netflix show, Bill Nye Saves the World, has come along to rescue us and our policies from scientific ignorance. The
underlying message behind the March for Science and Nye's show is that science can "solve" public policy problems if we would just let the
scientists and technocrats take over. In one episode of his show, Nye pondered whether we should have policies that "penalize people
for having extra kids in the developed world[,]" in order to combat climate change. (Will all the "extra kids" please stand up?)
Population control movements have a long and sordid history, and have been endorsed by everyone from environmental catastrophists to
anti-immigrationists to eugenicists.
'Science' Know-It-Alls on the
March. It's all about the elections, in short: science as politics; government as the institution that
defines the value of particular kinds of thinking generally expressed in white-board symbols and formulas. A kind of
non-priestly priesthood holds authority in these matters. They know. We don't. We prosper only as we defer
to the symbols and formulas. Never mind understanding, my boy. That's for the priesthood, not the laity. [...]
The intellectual condescension of the science priesthood — its certainty that disagreement with the priests is
uninformed and primitive — illustrates the depth of modern divisions on matters social, cultural, and moral.
Pats Palin on the Back for Speaking in 'Complete Sentences' During Tapper Interview. During today's [4/21/2017] broadcast
of MSNBC's Morning Joe, co-host Joe Scarborough offered up some high praise to former Republican Vice-Presidential nominee Sarah
Palin over the way she handled her interview with CNN's Jake Tapper yesterday. What was he commending her for? Well, he seemed
to be extremely impressed that she was able to speak somewhat articulately. Highlighting right away that he wasn't trying to be
"snide," Scarborough expressed amazement that "she spoke in complete sentences." "Over the past five, six, seven years every time
she got on TV," he explained, "she rambled to such a degree — it was word salad."
Pepsi Kills the Resist Movement.
Does Pepsi really think we're buying their Disneyesque soft-focus claptrap? These "protests" we've been subjected to
for the last four years have been violent, destructive and vicious. Yet Pepsi wants us to believe they're nothing but
attractive, multi-racial twenty-somethings finding a higher meaning for their lonely, shallow lives. This
spit-and-polish presentation of real-life "protests" that have resulted in tens of millions of dollars in property damage,
businesses destroyed — not to mention police and civilian injuries and deaths — insults our intelligence.
Once the popular culture decides to appropriate a fringe movement for financial gain, that's how a movement dies.
44 years ago, Obama's scandal slowly unfolds. Trump has no connection to Putin. None. The Putin
story is a ruse that Barack Obama thinks provided cover for his illegal and unconstitutional espionage and surveillance of
the political opposition. I have no doubt that Obama's web of espionage extended well beyond Donald Trump. The
abuse of the National Security Agency to spy on Trump continued even after his election. Yet the media thinks we are a
bunch of dupes, and continues to pretend the victim is the villain.
Hear You: 'Elitist Media Believe Themselves Superior'. The elitist media believe themselves superior in
ability, as well as having the greatest power and influence on the public. But the mainstream media for the most part
are nothing more than propagandists for the Democrat Party and stooges for the elite corporations that own their franchises;
we citizen journalists are more often of an independent, libertarian, or conservative mind. This disparity began at the
founding of our nation. The "mainstream media" of 1770 were newspapers and magazines that wholeheartedly supported King
George III of England. There were many reasons, not the least of which was that if they did not, they would be shut
down, their property confiscated, and the owners imprisoned.
liberals say it's okay to hate Trump voters. There is, in some precincts on the left, an earnest attempt to
understand Trump voters, those strange creatures that are standing by their man, and figure out how the Democrats might win
them back. During the campaign I talked about Donald Democrats and how the billionaire's appeal to working-class folks
might help him win the election, as he did in Michigan, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania. The Dems used to be the party of
the working class, but Trump made a connection that the party of global trade deals and climate change failed to forge.
"Democrats often sound patronizing when speaking of Trump voters... It's hard to win over voters whom you're insulting," New
York Times columnist Nick Kristof wrote last month.
"Frantic Yelling Ensued".
Congressman Steve King (R-IA) has noticed just how extremist today's respectable conventional wisdom has become. So King has been
exercising a Trump-like knack for trolling the Establishment with blunt truths that enrage goodthinkers into revealing just how much their
worldview is founded upon hatred of average Americans. [...] King is [portrayed as] particularly hateful because he represents Sioux County,
Iowa, which Stanford economist Raj Chetty's big 2015 study of IRS returns from 1996 to 2012 found to be the single best county in America
for raising children who are upwardly mobile. Sioux County is extremely white, Protestant, native-born, traditionalist, and prosperous.
It represents the egalitarian essence of everything that coastal elites find deplorable about the people they currently preside over.
knew blizzard forecast was exaggerated — but didn't want to confuse us. Fears of a massive blizzard
led officials to close city public schools and for above-ground train service to be stopped — but in the end, only
about 7 inches fell in Central Park. After announcing that snow could reach record levels in the city, NWS meteorologists
in New York and other Northeast cities held a conference call Monday afternoon [3/13/2017] about computer models that dramatically
cut predicted totals. But they decided to continue forecasting deep snow, claiming that they didn't change their forecast for
fear people would mistakenly think the storm was no longer dangerous.
The Editor says...
The situation above demonstrates the state of the art in meteorology: Snowfall cannot be accurately predicted a few days in advance, even
with the fastest computers and best software in the world. Tornados can't be forecast at all, and the prediction of earthquakes and volcanic
eruptions is just as uncertain. But these are the same people who are absolutely sure that by January 1, 2100, the average
worldwide temperature will be two degrees higher than it is today.
Immigrant Crime: The Real Story. Deal with it, Democrats: illegal immigrants commit crime far more often
than legal immigrants. [...] Why is the media fabricating a false narrative that illegal immigrants commit fewer crimes than
American citizens? Here's why: To attack President Trump's immigration policies, most notably his travel
ban. How moronic do the journalists at CNN[,] the New York Times and the rest of the mainstream media think we
are? And why is no one exposing this huge scandal?
Brzezinski: Media's Job Is to 'Control Exactly What People Think'. MSNBC's Mika Brzezinski criticized
President Donald Trump on Wednesday for undermining the media's message by creating his own facts, adding that the "job" of
the media is to "control exactly what people think." Brzezinski made the comment on "Morning Joe" after co-host Joe
Scarborough said that he agreed with a panelist's view that Trump supporters are wondering why people are so upset over what
the president is doing since he is implementing exactly what he campaigned on.
Mainstream Media Have Forfeited All Respect. [President] Obama was given an eight-year pass, as the media chose
to not question the administration's blaming George W. Bush for all the economic ills of Obama's two terms. Further,
they willfully ignored or glossed over why the economy was not growing, while nearly every year of the Obama presidency claiming
that the economy was on an significant upswing, and that mountainous budget deficits were not a concern. In essence they
assumed the American people were gullible dupes when many were not.
keep showing off their civic ignorance. Last week, cable news personality Sally Kohn tweeted what she called a
"straightforward" plan that would eject Donald Trump and install Hillary Clinton into the presidency: "1. Impeach Trump
Pence; 2. Constitutional crisis; 3. Call special election; 4. Ryan v Clinton; 5. President Clinton."
Anyone with middle-school knowledge of the presidential chain of command should know that impeaching both Trump and his vice
president would not, actually, lead to a "constitutional crisis" or a "special election." It would lead directly [...]
to President Paul Ryan. Whom Clinton would be welcome to challenge in the next election. Kohn is far from alone
in broadcasting her ignorance of the political process. Our so-called "elite" seems to be in desperate need of a
remedial civics class.
Uses of Populism. The spark that ignites populist movements is not so much disparities in wealth and status (they are not always French Revolution or
Bolshevik-like class-driven attempts to grab power) as rank hypocrisies: Elites condescendingly prescribe nostrums to hoi polloi, but always on the
dual premise that those who are dictating will be immune from the ramifications of their own sometimes burdensome edicts, and those who are dictated to are
supposedly too dense to know what is good for them.
York Times: Our Readers Are Too Dumb To Understand Global Warming Numbers. I recently wrote about the
wretched reporting on the claim that 2016 was the "hottest year on record," using as my main example a New York Times
article by Justin Gillis that gave his readers none of the relevant numbers they could use to evaluate that claim. None
of them. If you search for the actual numbers, you will eventually find that the effect they are claiming, the actual
amount by which this year was hotter than previous years, is smaller than the margin of error in the data. Shortly
afterward, I got a revealing response from Gillis. I'll fill in all the details for you, because the whole thing is an
important case study in why you can't trust mainstream reporting on global warming.
Left Hates You. Act Accordingly. Leftists don't merely disagree with you. They don't merely feel
you are misguided. They don't think you are merely wrong. They hate you. They want you enslaved and
obedient, if not dead. Once you get that, everything that is happening now will make sense.
Isn't Just Divided — It's Fragmented to Pieces. The 24-hour news cycle and media's insatiable
appetite to make certain people look good and others to look bad has created an atmosphere of enmity between folks of
different political and social persuasions, not to mention the rampant distrust. There is a growing attitude of
"everything we believe is right and everything you believe is wrong," and even when there is equity on both sides of an issue
the animosity has gotten so pervasive that opposing views are rarely even considered by the other side.
for a Lightweight. The mainstream media tried hard in the transition period to continue to wound Trump,
sticking shivs in his proxies, his nominees. The NYT published a demonstrably false article claiming Rick Perry
didn't even know the scope of the duties of the Department of Energy; they promoted the Democratic falsehood that Tom Price
had violated his ethics obligations. The Washington Post headed a story "Trump picks former Governor Sunny Perdue,
who once led a prayer for rain, as agriculture secretary," making that seem like an outlandish thing only a hick or primitive
shaman would indulge in.
hypocrisy of climate change advocates. For those of you who don't know what a climate denier is, it means you
either challenge, question or flat-out reject the idea that the planet is warming due to human activity. In the
scientific world and in the world of international liberal groupthink (but I repeat myself), this is blasphemy. Should
you remotely doubt the dubious models, unrealized dire predictions, changing goal posts or flawed data related to climate
science, you are not just stupid according to these folks, but you are on par with those who deny the Holocaust.
and Ignorant. There is a post over at WRSA where Melinda Byerley explains to all of the backwards dirt people
how to be and what to do to attract people like her to the rural areas. The mistaken meme here is that those in rural
areas voted for Trump, because they wanted jobs and the only reason they are not wholly behind the leftist death cult,
bigotry, hatred and othering (all of which is fully on display in her rant) is because of our bigotry, hatred and
othering. This is a shining example of projection.
Obama, We Are Not Your Kids. Like many parents who are suddenly shocked at their child's teenage rebellion,
Michelle Obama appears surprised to learn that her kids (the American public) have interests and ideas very different from
her own. For instance, some of her "kids" genuinely disliked being told how to eat and live. Some bristled at
having their choices limited and being forcefully nudged to eat this way or that. Many balked when government
bureaucrats told them how to parent their own kids; they slammed the door on all the unsolicited advice about their personal
choices. In fact, most Americans don't like the federal government treating them like children at all.
be Democrats. The preponderance of post-November 8 evidence suggests that liberals, the media, and the academy
have doubled down in their contempt for Trump and his constituency and remain maddeningly convinced that they are never wrong.
Obama's full-blown, year-end temper tantrum.
Let's be honest: President Obama is throwing a good old-fashioned foot-stomping world class temper tantrum. He is just beside himself that the stupid
American voter elected Donald Trump. [...] That is certainly the way he is behaving. Not for Obama the normal gracious withdrawal into political stasis; no,
he wants to prove in these waning weeks of his presidency that he was right all along. That his agenda is what The People want, even if they don't
know it. That putting America's valuable natural resources permanently off limits is the correct thing to do, because only Obama can see the future.
That taking over vast swatches of the west is in the best interests of the reluctant residents there, because only Obama will protect our environment. That
publicly confronting Russia for cyber misbehavior after years of looking the other way is called for, even if it complicates diplomacy in a number of theaters.
Because Obama knows best.
'Hamilton' Creator Pledges to Continue
Pointless Anti-Trump Activism. Few individuals in 2016 were more celebrated among wealthy coastal elites and
other Hillary Clinton supporters than "Hamilton" creator Lin-Manuel Miranda. He won all the awards and was repeatedly
called a genius. Miranda was also applauded in appropriate circles for his political activism, meaning his support for
Hillary Clinton and disdain for Donald Trump. [...] In a recent interview with the Daily Beast, Miranda said the election had
given him a "very pronounced case of moral clarity," and promised to continue use his celebrity status to "fight" against the
backwardness of Trump and his supporters.
The Editor says...
See? They say he a genius, and Trump supporters are backward. He
has "moral clarity," and if you oppose homosexual sodomy, you're the one who's confused.
Horribles. Yes, Clinton won the popular vote. Who cares? That was never, nor should it ever be, the
measure that determines who is elected president. She knew it. Her supporters knew it. Her campaign knew
it. They just chose not to campaign that way. Call it arrogance or ignorance, but Hillary spent more time in
California, a state she'd have won comfortably no matter what, than Wisconsin and Michigan in the final days of the election.
She and her team made that choice, consciously. Just like she chose to call half of Trump's supporters "a basket of
deplorables" who, even worse, were "irredeemable." No one made her do that. That became a rallying cry for
Trump — and a way of life for many Clinton supporters.
reasons why the New York Times' War on Christmas denial is all wrong. The New York Times recently published an
article purporting to trace the history of the "War on Christmas." The article concludes that "there is no evidence of an
organized attack on Christmas in the United States," and expressed skepticism about the "alleged liberal antagonism toward
the holiday." [...] Fox News did not rile up gullible people to fight a war against Christmas that did not exist. This
out-of-touch thinking by the New York Times assumes that most people who watch Fox News are easily manipulated.
Vast Cognitive Gulf between the Left and the Right. There is an abyss between how the Left and the Right accepts loss. What
explains this? The Left will produce countless "studies" that "show" they have bigger brains, are a more advanced species and that conservatives
are truly mentally impaired. That is what they do. Nothing makes them feel better than demeaning their ideological opponents on

Todd Excited by Idea of Abolishing the Electoral College on 'MTP Daily'. With the Electoral College gathering
early next week to elect Donald Trump President of the United States, many on the left are desperate to find a way the turn
the institution against him and/or abolish it. Such schemes are popular on MSNBC, and Chuck Todd expressed the same
desire on Tuesday's [12/13/2016] MTP Daily. "If we are never going to use the Electoral College, then we should
abolish it," Todd exclaimed to his panel of journalists. Todd's argument seemed that have been derived from a deep
misunderstanding of the U.S. Constitution. "My point is, the Electoral College was the idea, a college of influencers,
right, deciding whether the American public had made the right decision," he claimed. By Todd's argument the Founding
Fathers set up the Electoral College to be a type of chaperone for the ignorant masses.
Trump Election Saves Us From
the Evil Party. Sadly, many Americans have become partially numb to the Democrats' economic evil through repeated exposure to revisionist
terminology such as "the new normal." The left's apologists tell us that we can never go back to economic freedom and the opportunities that come
with it. They tell us that without regulating every aspect of our economic lives, humans will destroy the planet and each other because we are
inherently bad (and stupid) people.
People can't tell 'what's real and what isn't'. Secretary of State John Kerry lamented Friday that technology
has allowed the quick spread of false information to the point that people are struggling to "know what's real and what
isn't." "This is one of our chief challenges today, is to manage information and to do it in a way that average folks at
home can know what's real and what isn't, what's true, what's false, and try to build consensus around a common set of
understandings," Kerry said during the Mediterranean Dialogues Conference in Rome. "Technology has brought the world
closer, yes; but it's also enabled bigots and demagogues to spread messages of divisiveness and hate with the click of a
button, with the push of a finger."
Gruber Still Lying About Obamacare.
A stable human being, having earned national notoriety by admitting that he participated in a conspiracy to deceive the voters on an
important public policy issue, would not expect them to believe anything else he had to say on the subject. This would be
particularly true if he had also said that the deception was predicated on the stupidity of those voters.
Intolerance of the Left. [Scroll down] Of course, CNN's Chistianne Amanpour weighed in with a speech to The Committee
to Protect Journalists, those privileged but beleaguered victims of bias and violence. [...] She rails against "fake news sites."
Those would be the ones with which she and her fellow journos disagree. That would be any site with conservative views reporting
or commenting on the issues the left considers settled and beyond debate. It is Amanpour and her ilk that broadcast fake news,
like "Hillary will win in a landslide." Every word out of their mouths is propaganda meant to sway public opinion. That
is how stupid they think American citizens are. So stupid that we do not see them for exactly what they are: elitist
snobs who believe it is their job to dictate to us how to think, act, speak, and vote.
Can Survive Thanksgiving without Help from the New York Times. Back in 2013, Michelle Obama wrote on the site
of the White House's political arm, Organizing for Action, that, "as you spend time with loved ones this holiday season, be
sure to talk with them about what health-care reform can mean to them." Then in 2014, Mike Bloomberg's anti-gun group, Mayors
Against Illegal Guns, offered a placemat entitled "Talking Turkey About Guns." In 2015, White House Press Secretary Josh
Earnest concurred, suggesting that families should discuss why members of Congress are too afraid of the NRA to pass a
gun-control bill: "As people are sitting around the Thanksgiving table talking about these issues — as they
should and I'm sure they all will across the country — I hope that is a question that will be raised and asked by
members around the table." This year we get "How to Talk to Your Family About Planned Parenthood This Thanksgiving."
Pass the gravy, and let me tell you more about the organization's commitment to STD testing. What is wrong with these
people? Since when is it a national obligation to subject your relatives to the conversational equivalent of push-polling?
Gruber Discovers 'Stupidity' Is Wrong Word For American Voters. Call it the Jonathan Gruber election. He
is the Ford professor of economics at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He got his Ph.D. at Harvard. As
a White House consultant, he helped to design ObamaCare and was then caught afterward on videotape explaining its passage by
talking about "the stupidity of the American voter." Well, if anyone is "stupid" in this story, it's not the voters, but
the academics who in their hubris designed an Affordable Care Act that became so unpopular that it became a decisive factor
in Hillary Clinton's defeat.
thoughts from a 'deplorable'. We are not stupid. Although we have been labeled as uneducated, sexist,
racist and simply deplorable, we are none of the above. The membership in the deplorables includes physicians,
academics, lawyers and many with advanced degrees. A friend I hadn't spoken to in a long while expressed her opinion of
Trump supporters that came straight from the New York Times and other MSM pundits; that we are basically uneducated and Trump
is a sexist racist who mocked the disabled. I told her that didn't happen but when I listed all the pertinent facts of
that misinformation, she ended the conversation with, "I don't want to talk about it."
Unbearable Lightness of Anti-Trump Hysterics. [Scroll down] Hillary and her inner circle were shocked as
well. It never occurred to them that her many crimes, her foundation schemes to enrich herself, her lifetime of lying
and her carelessness about national security would filter down to voters. They assumed regular people, those stupid
people Jonathan Gruber counted on to accept the nonsense that is Obamacare, would not know about or read the thousands of
leaked Podesta emails that expose the totally self-serving nature of the Clintons and their staff. The emails prove
that they care nothing about the country, the shrinking middle class, ISIS, or Iran's nuclear ambitions. They care only
about winning, keeping power and staying rich. Liberals routinely and mistakenly view the American people as beneath them,
as ignorant. To their great shock, the deplorables are more informed than Clinton and the DNC ever thought possible.
Democrat Media Complex Will Never Understand What Happened Tuesday Night. The morning after the election, I was
asked by a lifelong Democrat friend of mine what my thoughts were. I told her that my big takeaway was the that media
managed to make me respect it less and despise it more even though this was an election cycle where I had no emotional
investment whatsoever in a candidate. It's not just the bias, although I will never condone that while they're
pretending to be neutral observers. It's the overwhelming ignorance displayed by a group of people who truly believe
themselves to be the smartest ones in the room. It's like an island populated by people who are four feet tall and have
never met anyone else: they all think they're giants.
Killam blasted for calling 'rural' Americans 'stupid'. Taran Killam got himself into trouble when he tweeted
"rural = stupid" Tuesday night. The former "Saturday Night Live" star took a lot of heat for his tweet which was
seemingly in reference to election results from those living in rural areas.
Campaign Is Predicated on the Gruber Principle. According to a McClatchy-Marist poll released Friday, a
majority of the electorate believes Clinton has done "something illegal." That should be reassuring as it relates to the
wisdom of the voters. Sadly, it isn't. [...] And it gets worse. When asked if the various legal controversies
that swirl around Clinton with ever-increasing velocity would make a difference in the way they vote tomorrow, fully 65 percent
of Democrats answered "no difference at all." Is this an artifact of the "Gruber Principle"? For those who may have
forgotten, this is a reference to the incredibly disingenuous Democrat strategy that was used to pass Obamacare. It will
forever be associated with MIT Professor Jonathan Gruber, who injudiciously described it on video as follows: "[T]he
stupidity of the American voter... was really, really critical for the thing to pass."
Hillary Ads Reaching Out To Stupid
Women. If I were a stupid, brain dead woman, then I'd probably be influenced by these ads and support Hillary
Clinton, who is probably one of the most corrupt individuals to ever run for the U.S. presidency. I, however, have
lived long enough to realize that many men speak as arrogantly as Mr. Trump and we've had several presidents whose
private sins would dwarf Trump's if they hadn't been covered up by a compliant media. The very fact that the Clinton
ads are predominantly personal attacks on Trump instead of being issue oriented only proves the campaign's desperation in
light of the continuing exposes of the nefarious dealings at Hillary's State Department and the Clinton Foundation. It
certainly looks as if she sold the country down the drain to enrich herself and oh yes, four Americans died and an entire
country (Libya) was decimated thanks to Hillary.
Power, Less Principle in the Culture Wars. [Scroll down] President Obama, clearly a product of this system, has provided
numerous illustrations over the years. A personal favorite dates from his first presidential campaign in 2008, when, before a wellheeled
San Francisco audience, he glibly explained the intransigence of those outside their circle. Implying that the losers in the
great meritocratic competition may lack the cognitive ability to cope gracefully with the modern life, he characterized them as
frightened and understandably prone to "cling to their guns and Bibles." At least he was sympathetic and resisted the temptation to
characterize them as evil, as many others of this elite group have. Otherwise, he could not have been more condescending.
Writer Frames Hillary Clinton As The Victim Of Testosterone. Frank Bruni, a writer for the liberal fish-wrapping known
as the New York Times, has the entire history of Hillary Clinton's corruption figured out. It's far more nuanced than mere
commoners can grasp, apparently, but just to break down Bruni's main gist: Men are pigs.
the FBI cache; the Podesta emails show how America is run. They are the comfortable and well-educated mainstay
of our modern Democratic party. They are also the grandees of our national media; the architects of our software; the
designers of our streets; the high officials of our banking system; the authors of just about every plan to fix social
security or fine-tune the Middle East with precision droning. They are, they think, not a class at all but rather
the enlightened ones, the people who must be answered to but who need never explain themselves.
Plot Against America. Barack Obama's oft-quoted promise that "if you like your health care plan, you can keep
it" has been living up to its dubious distinction granted in 2013 as the "lie of the year." Actually, it is the biggest lie
in decades and he and his people knew it was a lie all along. Remember that the bill's architect admitted that they relied
on the "stupidity of the American people" to help the bill pass and three Obama speechwriters laughed about it on a PBS show.
Phillip: Clinton Scandals Are Too 'Complicated to Prosecute' a Case to Voters. On the Monday [10/24/2016]
edition of CNN's Inside Politics, Washington Post political reporter Abby Phillip employed a tiresome tactic to
deflect away from any number of the Clinton scandals and particularly the revelations via WikiLeaks because it's all "too
complicated" to explain to voters in building a case against her.
The Left and the Masses: Part III.
When Barack Obama referred to ordinary working people as people who are "bitter," and who "cling to guns or religion," that was not just a
peculiarity of Obama. He was part of a centuries-long tradition on the left. No one so epitomized the 18th century left as
Jean Jacques Rousseau, who likened the masses to "a stupid, pusillanimous invalid." In the 19th century, Karl Marx said, "The working
class is revolutionary or it is nothing" — in other words, millions of human beings mattered only if they carried out his vision.
Fabian socialist George Bernard Shaw included the working class among the "detestable" people who "have no right to live." He
added: "I should despair if I did not know that they will all die presently, and that there is no need on earth why they should be
replaced by people like themselves." It sounds very much like Hillary Clinton's view of the "deplorables" who support her opponent,
or Bill Clinton's characterization of the same people as "standard rednecks."
Catholics, This Is What Team Hillary Really Thinks Of You. [Scroll down] Had this been conservatives
talking about some liberal cause celebre, the media and Planet Clinton would be feasting on it and calling for the heads of
all involved. Imagine for a moment if you replaced the actors with conservatives and Catholicism and the conversation
topic with Black Lives Matter, LGTB rights, or women. The rebukes would come fast and furious, and with wicked
vengeance. Another email shows Podesta discussing the groups he founded to incite rebellion and schism within the Church,
when confronted with the suggestion of a "Catholic Spring" against church doctrine and leadership in favor of "gender equality."
Leaked Clinton Campaign E-Mails Too 'Complicated' for Voters to Care About. Appearing on Wednesday's [10/12/2016] NBC Today,
Bloomberg Politics editor Mark Halperin tried to dismiss the importance of Clinton campaign e-mails released by Wikileaks as being too
"inside baseball" and "complicated" for voters to grasp. He then argued the issue would only matter if journalists actually pressed
the Democratic nominee on the topic. Following a report from correspondent Kristen Welker on Hillary Clinton "facing more tough
questions about hacked e-mails," co-host Matt Lauer asked Halperin: "Mark, scale of one to ten, one being a non-event, ten being
a campaign-shaking event, where do these Wikileaks documents fall for Hillary Clinton?" Halperin replied: "Three today with
the potential to go to eight as reporters dig in to some of this stuff and more come."

at one of the country's largest hospitals to cut 'maternity tourism'. Expectant mothers will have to provide papers

Spokesman: Clinton 'suffers' during
interviews with 'lesser intellects'. A spokesman for Hillary Clinton said in 2015 that his candidate "suffers
in performance" when she is interviewed by someone with a "lesser intellect," according to new emails revealing the exchange
with a cable TV host. Spokesman Nick Merrill made the statement to reassure Greta Van Susteren, who was then with Fox
News, that Clinton's team respected her despite Clinton's refusal to appear on her program, and after a leaked email from
Clinton aide Philippe Reines referred to Susteren as "malleable."
Kaine and Pence's
Rumble. Kaine's debate prep, like Hillary's, was based on the firm belief that the American people are
stupid. Democrats have contempt for everyone outside of the beltway or their donor class. Did they really think
that whoever tuned in tonight was not up on what each of the candidates has said in the past?
on Bernie Sanders Supporters: They're a bunch of losers "living in their parents's basement". As far as
message discipline goes, Donald Trump may not be the wild one among our two presidential candidates.
audio: Clinton refers to Sanders fans as frustrated, basement-dwellers. Hillary Clinton suggested in
February that many of the young people who supported Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., in the Democratic primary were
unemployed political neophytes who still lived with their parents, according to new audio released this week. "Some are
new to politics completely. They're children of the Great Recession. And they are living in their parents'
basement. They feel they got their education and the jobs that are available to them are not at all what they
envisioned for themselves. And they don't see much of a future," the now-Democratic nominee said at a private
fundraiser held in Maclean, Va.
caught on tape mocking millenials [sic] living in parents' basement and wanting free college. Hillary Clinton was
secretly recorded at a fundraiser for wealthy donors mocking and condescending to the millennials who backed Bernie
Sanders. The recording and transcripts were released by The Intercept, a site financially backed by Pierre Omidyar and
edited by Glenn Greenwald, both left-wingers. But evidently the spectacle of Hillary Clinton telling rich people the
youngsters are naïve and free college is impractical, while currently touting free college to them on the campaign
trail, is just too much to bear.
by a different name: Obama says Trump fueled by fearful, resentful voters. Even as Donald Trump is
climbing in polls, President Obama said most Americans have figured out that the Republican nominee isn't "suited" for the
presidency. "I don't think it's a surprise for me to say that I don't think his temperament is suited for this office,"
Mr. Obama said in an interview published in Vanity Fair. "But it's not something that I have to emphasize because
I think the majority of the American people have figured that out." The president told historian Doris Kearns Goodwin
that he views Mr. Trump's candidacy as "an expression of certain fears, certain resentments, that have been a running
thread in American history."
Hates You. You're deplorable. You're irredeemable. With a wave of her limp, clammy hand, this sick
old woman dismisses you from the company of those whose opinions have value, whose interests matter, who have any moral claim
to participation in self-governance. You are less than nothing. You are vermin to be, at best, driven from
society. Will Hillary Clinton ever be your president? No, and she makes no excuses and offers no denials
that a Hillary Clinton presidency means the division of the country into those people she considers worthy and those people
she does not.
Deplorable and I'm Proud. Friday night [9/16/2016], Hillary Clinton said out loud what our progressive
friends have long been thinking. It may cost her the election. Half of Donald Trump's supporters, claimed
Hillary, were merely anxious about the future. The other half belonged in a "basket of deplorables." What
made them deplorable, said Hillary, was that they were "racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, Islamophobic, you name it."
Hillary Clinton Maligns Nearly 50 Million Americans. Clinton's remarks completely conform with the liberalism
that she shares with top Democrats — from K Street to Sunset Boulevard. As they see it, hordes of the great
unwashed live in "flyover country." They are not educated or elegant enough to have reached Los Angeles, San Francisco,
Boston, New York, or — the most elevated place of all — Washington, D.C. So, enlightened people
like Hillary and her supporters must make decisions for these benighted souls. Thus, Washington should tell these people
what to do, every day, all day long.
Hillary collapsed this weekend so did her credibility. Hillary Clinton made a terrible mistake on Friday night
[9/9/2016]. Speaking to a star-studded audience at a fund-raiser in New York, she inexplicably decided to abuse, denigrate
and mock tens of millions of her fellow Americans. 'You could put half of Trump's supporters into what I call the basket
of deplorables,' she sneered. 'Right? The racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, Islamophobic — you name
it.' The well-heeled, affluent, liberal, metropolitan elite crowd at super-fancy Cipriani restaurant in Wall Street, where
Barbra Streisand and Rufus Wainwright performed that same night, whooped and hollered.
Clinton Lashes Out At Trump Supporters — "Basket of Deplorable Americans". Following the
announcement from Bill Clinton that large segments of the American electorate are "coal people", you know 'THOSE
PEOPLE' — in the 'US' -vs- 'THEM' world, those simpletons, too uneducated to properly
evaluate the magnanimous magnificence of the Clinton family, Hillary jumps into the foray with her own specific ridicule.
Secretary Hillary Clinton telling her donors at a fundraising dinner that Donald Trump supporters are "deplorable".
'Irredeemable'? The Dangers of a Clinton Presidency Just Got Worse. In the real (non-Hillary) world, these
"deplorables" would be called the American middle class, those folks who are supposed to be suffering at the hands of the one
percent — you know, the victims of the endlessly trumpeted (by the Democrats) "income inequality." Hillary
deemed these people "irredeemable" at a fundraiser while introducing Barbra Streisand to a giddy audience, some of whom
undoubtedly have net worths upwards of fifty million — like Hillary, Barbra, and just about every Democrat I
know. Well, not every, but many. Admittedly I live in Hollywood, a wildly skewed demographic, but unlike most
denizens of Tinseltown, I have spent a considerable amount of time recently among these so-called "deplorables," aka, in
movie parlance, "flyover people."
Clinton's non-apology apology for 'basket of deplorables'. Hillary Clinton issued a statement clarifying her
"basket of deplorables" comment earlier today which begins: ["]Last night I was 'grossly generalistic,' and that's
never a good idea. I regret saying 'half' — that was wrong.["] This is clearly not an apology, it's
a quibble over numbers. She's not retracting the statement only the math. And yet, the media seems eager to give
her credit for walking this back.
Than 47% of Trump Supporters Are Scum, According to Your Abuela. Hillary Clinton is world-renowned as a
"habitual and serial liar". She's also an exteremely arrogant woman who will continue Barack Obama's divisive and hateful
behavior, only she won't be as charming about it. [...] Her arrogance is why she had a personal server and continues to lie
about it. The American people are beneath her. At a New York fundraiser, she demonized "half" of Trump's
supporters as "baskets of deplorables" who are "racists, sexists, homophobic, xenophobic, Islamaphobic, you name it".
The rest are just "baskets" of pathetic people who think "the government has let them down, the economy has let them down, nobody
cares about them." She called Trump followers "irredeemable". How dare she characterize people that way —
half are haters and the other half are childlike idiots[.]
They Really Do See Us as a 'Basket of Deplorables'. It's always fun to check out what the loons are saying in
Hillaryville. Her boosters on the far Left didn't want her to backtrack at all on her comment that half of Donald
Trump's supporters belong in a "basket of deplorables." "Do Half of Trump's Supporters Really Belong in a 'Basket of
Deplorables'?" asked a headline from Slate on Sunday, before answering the question with an emphatic: "Yes."
brilliance of Hillary Clinton's 'deplorables'. Could there be a clunkier phrase than "basket of deplorables"?
Hillary Clinton's assertion that half — or maybe something less than half — of Donald Trump's supporters
are "racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, Islamophobic, you name it" struck a lot of observers as not just an odd turn of
phrase but politically unwise. You attack your opponent, the idea was, but you don't attack the voters. But now,
a few days later, the brilliance of Clinton's remark is becoming clearer. Yes, she got a few liberal commentators to take
her side and defend the substance of it. But the far bigger benefit is that in the wake of her comment, some media figures
decided to devise a "deplorables" quiz for Trump supporters. Is Person X deplorable? How about Person Y?
The effect was to pressure Trump supporters not only to agree with Clinton's larger point but with her precise terminology.
Obama Says Americans
can be "Lazy" and "Insular". President Obama has really shown his true colors the last few months. Not
that they were ever particularly hidden to anyone willing to look. I mean, the guy golfs every weekend and takes a
total of about five to six weeks off a year. And he's calling Americans lazy? And they accuse Trump of having
poor reality testing. Yesterday, Obama was supportive of 49er quarterback Colin Kaepernick sitting out the National
Anthem, saying, "He's exercising his constitutional right to make a statement."
Americans Too 'Lazy' to Know Anything About the Rest of the World. Wednesday at a a Young Southeast Asian
Leaders Initiative (YSEALI) town hall in Luang Prabang, Laos, President Barack Obama said Americans can be "lazy" because
we are so big we think "We don't have to know anything about other people."
Clinton's 47% Moment: Calls Trump Supporters 'Racist, Sexist, Homophobic, Xenophobic, Islamophobic'. During
a fundraiser in New York City Friday evening [9/9/2016], Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton described half of the
Americans supporting Donald Trump as a "basket of deplorables" made up of "racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, Islamophobic"
people. "You know to just be grossly generalistic, you could put half of Trump's supporters into what I call the basket of
deplorables," she said as the crowd laughed and applauded. "...the racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, Islamophobic, you
name it." Clinton said that it was unfortunate that Trump had given them a voice, citing "offensive mean-spirited
rhetoric" on websites and Twitter.

York Times Can't Stop Pushing the Myth of Obama's Literary Genius. [Scroll down] For years, Obama has
encouraged this fiction. "I've written two books," he told a crowd of teachers in Virginia in July of 2008. The
crowd applauded. "I actually wrote them myself," he added with a wink and a nod, and now the teachers exploded in
laughter. They got the joke: Republicans were too stupid to write their books.
Half of Donald Trump's supporters are racist, sexist, homophobic bigots. Hillary Clinton claimed Friday evening [9/9/2016]
that roughly half of Donald Trump's supporters are sexist, racist, homophobic bigots — a heavy charge that comes amid reports
the Democratic nominee planned to move away from attacking the Republican candidate. "To just be grossly generalistic, you can put
half of Trump supporters into what I call the basket of deplorables," Clinton said at a fundraiser in New York City. "Right?
Racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, Islamaphobic, you name it." The former secretary of state continued, adding, "And
unfortunately, there are people like that and he has lifted them up. He has given voice to their websites that used to only
have 11,000 people, now have 11 million. He tweets and retweets offensive, hateful, mean-spirited rhetoric."
calls 'half' of Trump supporters 'basket of deplorables'. If you support Donald Trump, you are "irredeemable,"

Hillary Clinton paints you as hopeless moral lepers who should be banished to a remote island to live your final days.
We are so bad, so evil, that we are no better than "terrorists." We are "not America." We are all of these

7 Dumbest Things That Offended Liberals. When you're a liberal, the best way to show how much more virtuous you
are than other people is to become offended. The more trivial the issue you are offended by, the more caring,
enlightened and, yes, virtuous you appear to other liberals. Moreover, if you think white privilege, racism and rape
culture are running rampant, you'll want to find ways to distinguish yourself from the masses, whom you view as troglodytes.
Clinton: Email Classification Issues Are 'Too Complicated To Explain To People'. The American public
doesn't understand that Hillary Clinton is telling the truth about her classified emails because government classification
issues are "too complicated to explain to people," Bill Clinton said Friday. The former president was speaking in Las
Vegas a presidential forum hosted by the Asian American Journalists Association when he was asked why his wife lied about her
emails. "This is the biggest load of bull I've ever heard," Clinton said during a lengthy response to the question.
He also threw two government officials — FBI director James Comey and Sec. of State John Kerry — under
the bus while defending Hillary.
The smug style in American
liberalism. [Scroll down] Finding comfort in the notion that their former allies were disdainful, hapless
rubes, smug liberals created a culture animated by that contempt. The result is a self-fulfilling prophecy.
Financial incentive compounded this tendency — there is money, after all, in reassuring the bitter. Over
20 years, an industry arose to cater to the smug style. It began in humor, and culminated for a time in The Daily Show,
a program that more than any other thing advanced the idea that liberal orthodoxy was a kind of educated savvy and that its
opponents were, before anything else, stupid. The smug liberal found relief in ridiculing them. The internet only
made it worse.
Are Elites Out of Touch? They Think Anyone Who Disagrees with Them Is Crazy. The experts told us that Brexit
will not happen. It cannot happen. The consequences will be too severe. The economic fallout too great to even
imagine. Yet, the unthinkable became a reality: The people of Britain voted "Leave," against the experts' advice.
How could this be? Did they not hear the experts' warnings? [...] "If they have known better, they would have done better"
goes the saying. The masses need education from the elites. Once educated, they will follow their leadership.
Reid: People Are too Dumb to Understand Hillary's 'Complicated' E-Mail Scandal. In a similar performance
from the previous weekend MSNBC's Joy Reid took to the camera Sunday [8/7/2016] to play down the seriousness of Hillary
Clinton's E-Mail scandal. As opposed to going on her show — AM Joy — and shouting down a panelist
for states [sic] damaging facts, this time she went on NBC's Meet the Press and insulted the public claiming they were
too stupid to understand the issue.
of being told what you just witnessed? Try C-SPAN. C-SPAN is beyond question an under-appreciated
national treasure that at great expense brings within our reach for free virtually all important political events. And
some not so important perhaps, but revealing of the nation's political fabric, like a candidate's exchange with diners or
picnickers. [...] C-SPAN plays to Americans' innate intelligence, largely leaving to individual viewers the decision on
winners and losers. The skirts may not be as short as some networks. The pontificators are less puffed-up.
And the hype is blessedly absent.

Someday I'll write a thousand-page denunciation of television, and starting at about page 377, I'll discuss the dumbing down of local TV news,
which has reached the point where the Happy Team of delightfully dissimilar and indistinctly ethnic news readers seem to assume that the viewers
can't read, or in some cases, can't see at all. The local weather coverage is often the worst in this regard: The weather girl puts
up a map with the current temperatures, and then reads the numbers to you. A full-screen quote from the Chief of Police pops up, and the
reporter at the police station — where, at that very moment, nothing is happening — reads it to you. As the headline
above implies, when the President goes on TV to make a prepared statement, his address to the nation will be followed by a panel of analysts who will
tell you what the president said — as if you didn't hear it two minutes earlier. They do this because they assume the viewers are
stupid. In many cases, they're right. The surest way to avoid being treated like a moron (by people you'll probably never meet) is to
remove all the television sets from your house. Life without television is surprisingly peaceful.
Hillary decision requires "the willing suspension of disbelief". As [FBI Director James] Comey went through the litany of Hillary's
misdeeds, lies, defalcations of duty, extreme carelessness, cunning and risks to national security, Comey made the case for any of a series of
charges against Hillary. Then, with the reputation of the FBI about to be vindicated, Comey dropped the dreaded "however." In House
testimony, Comey again confirmed every factual point demanding prosecution, yet defended his decision not to recommend charges because he was
treating Hillary just like he would any other citizen. Can anyone seriously claim, as Comey has, that Hillary was treated as any other citizen
would? It's laughable and requires the suspension of disbelief. Either Comey is the dumbest person on earth, or he thinks we are.
Called To Arms: "It's Time To Rise Up Against The Ignorant Masses". It appears the powers that be just are not going to

Supreme Court ruling on immigration 'sets our country back'. Obama downplayed the outcome, saying a tie doesn't
resolve anything. "If we have a full court issuing a full opinion on anything, then we take it seriously," he
said. "This, we have to abide by, but it wasn't any kind of value statement or a decision on the merits on these
issues." Senate Republicans are "are willfully preventing the Supreme Court from being fully staffed and functioning as
our founders intended," he continued. "And today's situation underscores the degree to which the court is not able to
function the way it's supposed to."
The Editor says...
Barack H. Obama couldn't care less about what the Founding Fathers intended, and he obviously doesn't know enough about American history to understand that the Supreme Court
was "fully staffed and functioning as our founders intended" when it had only six justices. The Judiciary Act of 1789 set the number at six: a chief justice
and five associate justices. In 1807, Congress increased the number of justices to seven; in 1837, the number was bumped up to nine; and in 1863, it rose to 10.
In 1866, Congress passed the Judicial Circuits Act, which shrank the number of justices back down to seven and prevented President Andrew Johnson from appointing anyone new
to the court. [Source]

Common Core educational standards, a one-size-fits-all curriculum reform program that has been forced down school districts

all tech oligarchs — they believe that they constitute a class of Platonic philosopher kings or guardians who know
what is best for everyone because they have a clearer vision of the Ideas.

rules to require added sugars to be detailed. The United States plans a major overhaul of the way packaged
foods are labeled, the Food and Drug Administration announced on Friday [5/20/2016]. Serving sizes will be adjusted to reflect
how much people actually eat, and for the first time labels will list added sugars. These are the first significant changes
since the Nutrition Facts label was introduced more than 20 years ago.
Obama wins food fight. Michelle Obama scored a major victory in her nutrition label crusade on Friday [5/20/2016].
In a major overhaul that has been years in the making, labels on packaged foods will now feature calories listed in bigger and bolder
type, a new line for 'Added Sugars', and serving sizes that are more accurate and uniform among similar products. The changes were
proposed by the Food and Drug Administration two years ago and are the first major update of the labels since their creation in 1994.
The labels are now found on over 800,000 foods.
Obama blames scarce playgrounds for high crime, gun violence. First lady Michelle Obama on Tuesday [5/17/2016] linked the
lack of youth sports and playgrounds to higher crime and even gun violence. Appearing with her brother and sportscaster Michael
Wilbon at the Newseum, she said that bored kids are turning to crime.
Boy White House. During the showdown over Obamacare, the pro-Obama PAC Organizing for Action put out an ad now
known as "Pajama Boy." It showcased a young fellow in thick retro-rimmed glasses, wearing black-and-red plaid
children's-style pajamas, and sipping from a mug, with a sort of all-knowing expression on his face. The text
urged: "Wear pajamas. Drink hot chocolate. Talk about getting health insurance. #GetTalking."
Most men in Dayton or Huntsville do not lounge around in the morning in their pajamas, with or without built-in footpads, drinking
hot chocolate and scanning health-insurance policies. That our elites either think they do, or think the few that matter do,
explains why a nation $20 trillion in debt envisions the battle over transgender restrooms as if it were Pearl Harbor.
Speechwriters Laugh About the President's 'You Can Keep Your Plan' Lie. Charlie Rose and three of Barack
Obama's former speechwriters had a good laugh Monday night while joking about the president's infamous, oft-repeated false
promise that under Obamacare, "if you like your health care plan, you can keep your health care plan." Obama said dozens
of times in the run-up to the Affordable Care Act's signing and enactment that no Americans who liked the insurance plan they
had would lose it under the Affordable Care Act. In reality, millions of policies were canceled because of the law's
regulations, and Obama was forced to apologize to the American people. The infamous remark was named 2013's "Lie of the
Year" by PolitiFact.
Obama speechwriters laugh at 'you can keep your plan' promise. Charlie Rose and a trio of former Obama
speechwriters laughed it up this week at the mention of the president's infamous promise that that under the Affordable Care
Act, "if you like your healthcare plan, you can keep your healthcare plan." The moment occurred during the Monday [5/9/2016]
edition of "Charlie Rose: The Week," as the host and former speechwriters Jon Lovett, Jon Favreau and David Litt discussed
the president's writing abilities and his gift for oration.
(and Most Diabolical) Hillary Clinton Quotes. "We just can't trust the American people to make those types of
choices ... Government has to make those choices for people." [to Dennis Hastert regarding Americans selecting their own
health insurance policies when she was pushing for HillaryCare]
House on damage control after aide's magazine profile. The White House on Monday worked to contain the damage
caused by one of President Barack Obama's closest aides, who, in a seemingly candid, behind-the-curtain magazine story,
ripped the Washington press corps, boasted of creating an "echo chamber" of supporters to sell the Iran nuclear deal and
appeared to dismiss long-time foreign policy hands, including Hillary Clinton, as the Blob.
Meet the Democratic Liars
Club. [Scroll down] The latest clincher is the admission of a top White House aide that much about the
Iranian nuclear deal was a fabrication sold to a lazy, gullible press corps. Deputy National Security Adviser Ben
Rhodes boasts that most reporters were too dumb to know or care they were being misled. "The average reporter we talk
to is 27 years old, and their only reporting experience consists of being around political campaigns," Rhodes told The
New York Times. "They literally know nothing."
The runt of Rhodes.
President Obama and his team hold a low opinion of the intelligence of the American people. [...] Now comes Obama deputy
national security adviser Ben Rhodes to reveal the lies on which Obama's alliance with the Islamic Republic of Iran was
promoted. [...] Rhodes is not, as he should be, confined to fetching coffee and performing other menial tasks befitting his
qualifications to formulate national security policy. [...] Rhodes himself, however, is an odious ignoramus who knows one
thing: Obama's servitors in the mainstream media are useful idiots.
The man who creates the White House's own
reality. What is Ben Rhodes? With a 10,000 word profile, published Thursday [5/5/2016], the New York
Times Magazine certainly seems to indicate that his presence at the top of the Obama administration's foreign policy
operation bears some kind of special significance. [...] The author observes Rhodes complaining bitterly on the day of
Obama's final State of the Union address, during which 10 U.S. sailors were inconveniently seized by the Iranian
Revolutionary Guard Corps, that the news can't be kept secret from the American public so that the president can deliver his
speech without distractions. Of the "average reporter" with whom the White House works to get out its message Rhodes
provides the verdict, "they literally know nothing."
Our Secretary-General In
Chief. Terror in Brussels leaves at least 30 dead. Visiting Cuba, President Obama responds. For
51 seconds. Then he gets back to burying the Cold War. Which ended in 1991. Later in Havana,
explaining to ESPN why he followed through with plans to attend a baseball game despite the international crisis, the
president invoked David Ortiz of the Red Sox, who rallied Boston after the 2013 marathon bombing. What Obama
said of Ortiz is revealing. "That is the kind of resilience and kind of strength that we have to continually show
in the face of these terrorists," he said. "They cannot defeat America. They can't — they don't
produce anything. They don't have a message that appeals to the vast majority of Muslims or the vast majority of
people around the world. But what they can do is scare us and make people afraid and disrupt our daily lives and
divide us. As long as we don't allow that to happen, we'll be ok." Whew, what a relief. Islamic holy
warriors bomb, kill, maim, mutilate, decapitate, rape, crucify, and shoot civilians of every sex, age, race, and
creed — but they won't win, so long as the president maintains the fortitude to stick to his schedule
and watch a baseball game with a Communist dictator.
Is In The Age Of Stupidity. For me America stopped being America with the passage of Obama-Care. The
thought that the federal government can force people to buy a product would have been incomprehensible to our founders.
What will they force us to buy next? Just look at the news everyday, we see things like; laws being passed that allows
men and women to use the same restrooms and shower facilities, that's stupidity. In Colorado they hand out satanic and
atheist literature without parental consent to middle school children, that's stupidity. We have schools that will not
suspend students of color no matter what they do, because people of color get suspended more than whites. Instead of
teaching students of color how to behave, they just ignore it, that's stupidity. We have a president who believes that
global warming is a bigger threat than Muslim Terrorists, that's stupidity.
Fruits of Multiculturalism, Abroad and at Home. [Scroll down] There is within our own borders a rising culture of
anti-Constitutional, anti-American aggression and fascism, perpetrated upon Americans by other Americans who are so assured of their own
moral and intellectual superiority that they have no need of laws that constrain their dominance over their fellow citizens. They
are smarter and better than the rest of us, because they say so.
Thinks Democrats are Very, Very Stupid. During Monday's [3/7/2016] Fox News town hall, Hillary Clinton repeated
her outrageous claims that her private email server contained no classified material. [...] Clinton reiterated that
outrageously false claim again today. But just last week, it was revealed Clinton's email contained more than
2,000 classified emails, including 104 emails authored and sent by Clinton herself.
Progressives' Phony Democracy. [Scroll down] For over a century modern Democrats have been the agents of
this ongoing transformation from self-rule to technocratic "soft despotism." They are the true privileged elites that Madison
scorned. Just think of Hillary panhandling Wall Street and thug regimes for cash, and ignoring the laws governing the handling
of national intelligence. But progressives hide their drive for more power and control under the phony democratic rhetoric of
"concern for the people" whom they in fact regard as unruly children to be controlled by their more intelligent betters.
votes to ease calorie disclosure rules for pizzerias, delis, grocers. The House voted Friday [2/12/2016] to make it easier for you to avoid the harsh
truth of how many calories you're devouring as you scarf down that pizza. House members voted 266-144 to gut a proposed Food and Drug Administration rule
requiring chain pizzerias, delis, and convenience stores to list the calorie content of their meals on menus or menu boards prominently displayed on the premises.
Instead, takeout restaurants and grocers could choose to disclose calories only on their websites. The White House opposes the Common Sense Nutrition Disclosure
Act, saying it will leave Americans — who consume a third of their calories away from home — with less information to make healthy choices.
The Editor says...
Common sense, indeed. Common sense will tell you that if your goal is consistently healthy eating, you don't buy dinner at a pizza parlor or a
convenience store, except on rare occasions. And if you make an occasional excursion to a donut shop or an ice cream store, common sense will tell you
that it shouldn't be a routine part of your diet. You don't need the government to quantify the fat and calorie contents for you, especially since that
information is available on demand in most restaurants.
tired of elites who consider them stupid and vicious. How stupid and vicious do they think we are? That's a question that
I think explains a lot of things about politics and society today — and about this year's unpredictable presidential race.
The "we" in that question are ordinary citizens and the "they" are political and media elites who hold them in contempt. Which they
do over and over again by trying to obfuscate and cover up the source and motives of terrorist attacks. Barack Obama, who
refuses to use phrases akin to "Islamist terrorism," is a prime offender, but far from the only one.
Tet Offensive: European Union Edition. Over the course of the past century, while Communism collapsed in the
Soviet Union, the Fabian socialists have been increasingly successful at poisoning the roots of national, cultural and ethnic
identity, leaving the inheritors of Western Civilization disorganized and demoralized, with no central belief system to rally
behind. Why has this deliberate demoralization and dumbing-down process occurred? The international socialists have
believed at least since the French Revolution that it was their duty to impose a top-down feudal order upon the ordinary "dumb
masses," a new world order managed by self-proclaimed experts chosen from among the correctly-educated elites, both for the
benefit of the ignoramuses, and as a way to line their own pockets and continue to live an elite lifestyle of wealth and power.
Gets Conspiratorial: Accuses Republicans of Hiring Actors to Appear at Rallies. Perhaps Clinton is merely insulting Iowa voters by
suggesting they are either dumb or crazy, something Trump and others have been taken to task for. But it would appear in fact that she is
seriously suggesting that GOP candidates are paying actors to attend their rallies.
Obama won't be going on his global farewell tour. As President Obama begins his final year in office, polls
show that public confidence in his national security leadership has collapsed: Only 18 percent of Americans say the United
States is winning the war on terrorism, and even a 59 percent majority of Democrats are dissatisfied with how Obama is prosecuting
the fight against Islamist radicalism. Obama's response? The Post reports the president has "scolded his aides about how
poorly the administration was communicating" his strategy and ordered an "uptick in our communications tempo." Not an uptick in
our "operations tempo" against the terrorists, mind you — an uptick in our communications tempo. You see, the
problem isn't the military strategy; it's the communications strategy. If Americans don't see how brilliant Obama's approach is,
he must not be explaining it well enough.
They Think You're
Stupid. When President Obama and his White House deny that the San Bernardino massacre was an act of
terror — literally one hour before his own FBI declares it so — am I supposed to believe that Barack H.
Obama, super-genius, is really that dumb? When Hillary Clinton says, just days after ISIS's Paris massacre, Muslims
have no connection whatsoever to terrorism, am I supposed to believe that? And when, amid the violence, the nation's top
law-enforcement officer says her "greatest fear" is the "incredibly disturbing rise of anti-Muslim rhetoric" — as
opposed to, you know, actual violence — must I believe that whopper, too? From ISIS is "contained" to
"Obamacare is working," liberal politicians are telling us things we know are just plain wrong. Do they really
want us to think they're this intellectually challenged?
Hillary Ad: '44 Boys Is Too Many' in White House. Hillary Clinton released an ad this morning featuring girls
saying there have been too many boys in the White House. "It has been ridiculous that there has never been a female
president before," one of the girls says, reading from a letter that she wrote to Clinton. "Forty-four boys is too many,"
writes another. The Clinton camp used this as the title of the ad. "It will be hard work to be a grandma and president,"
another girl says. "I know you can do it."
The Editor says...
Anyone who thinks these girls wrote letters to Hillary Clinton is obviously unaware of the meaning of astroturf, in a political
context. Are we to believe that every one of these little girls wrote spontaneously to Mrs. Clinton, because they're all so
interested in the outcome of the next election, and even though some of the letters are apparently written with crayons, there's not
one misspelled word in any of them? Hillary Clinton thinks you're stupid, and Hillary Clinton hopes the emotional appeal of a
group of precocious little girls will pull just one more undecided (and gullible) female voter over to her side.
surprising reason behind Obama's aggressive drive to regulate you more. Clearly, Americans are incapable of
living their everyday lives without explicit written guidance from Washington bureaucrats. Thankfully, a caring Barack
Obama and his minions are working feverishly these days to guide us on their proper path by writing and imposing a record
number of costly regulations before his reign ends in 416 days.
Surging Anti-American Sentiment of the Left. [Scroll down] Few Democrats have demonstrated this better
than Barack Obama who panders to stupidity and emotions in his relentless push to sell policies ranging from Obamacare to the
Iran deal. Daniel Greenfield of Front Page Mag elaborates that the "Obama toolbox is the same no matter what the issue might
be. His political allies rush out smear campaigns accusing opponents of everything from treason to racism. The media fills
with phony polls. The White House spews lies that it contradicts before denying that it ever contradicted them. Letters
by 'independent' experts are solicited without those worthies admitting their ties to the White House."
Hey Rubes, I Never Blamed a Video for the
Attack in Benghazi! Former U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton's testimony yesterday before the congressional committee
formed to investigate the deadly Benghazi debacle that she allowed to happen and then tried to cover up can be summed up in two words:
Trade Flip-Flop Shows How Dumb She Thinks We Are. For years, Hillary Clinton has championed the Trans-Pacific
Partnership as one of her signal achievements in her time as secretary of state. She called it the "gold standard in
trade agreements" in 2012. She listed it in her book as one of her key accomplishments. But now, four weeks before
the final TPP text is released, she has announced a change of heart. "As of today," she told Judy Woodruff, "I am not
in favor of what I have learned about it." Clinton's flip-flop would be laughable if it weren't exactly what the American
people expect of her — and a trap for Republicans blind to her game.
Clinton's campaign shocked that women can read and think. [Scroll down] Apparently, the Clinton campaign
is shocked that women can actually read and that they have the capacity to process what they have read. It should be no
surprise that when a majority of a demographic segment believes a politician is a liar and has engaged in misconduct that a
majority will also vote for someone else. This erosion morphing into avalanche of women voters away from Clinton is
lethal. There is no way anyone in the race is going to generate black voter turnout and roll up the 97% or so level of
support that did Barack Obama.
Video: Michelle Obama Trashes America As Ignorant. At a speech in South Carolina, Michelle Obama blasts America
as an "ignorant" that is set in our ways and living based on fear. [Video clip]
Hillary, Lying Is An Art Form. Hoodwink Hillary is very pleased with the dumbing down of America. The queen of
scam believes the American people are dumb, gullible, hopelessly naïve and thankfully tuned out. Sadly she's correct
as it pertains to the mouth-breathing bloodsuckers who think you're a sucker if you earn your own way and demand free stuff at
the expense of the hard-working producers in America. Hillary knows the bloodsuckers and crayon-eaters are easily manipulated,
conned, fleeced and hoodwinked. They are the dumbest creatures on two feet and the slithering backbone of the Democrat Party.
Hillary Clinton Would Say About Her Email Scandal If She Were Being Brutally Honest. Hillary Clinton is struggling to manage
the scandal that has erupted over her unprecedented use of a private email server during her tenure as secretary of state. She
"regrets" not following the rules, and is "sorry that this has been confusing to people." As Clinton has previously said, her
biggest weakness is that the American people are too stupid to realize why she deserves to be president.
'I Was Not Thinking a Lot' When I Became Secretary of State. With a long line of debunked lies, shredded excuses, and
abandoned spin attempts behind her, Hillary Clinton finally decided it was time to "apologize" for her email scandal. Of course,
her idea of an "apology" basically amounts to: I'm sorry you Little People are too stupid to understand what I was up against,
as a historic female Secretary of State. For good measure, Clinton threw in a stiff dose of the amazing Incompetence Defense
into her MSNBC appearance — that bizarre, and disturbingly effective, tactic pioneered by the Obama Administration where
officials claim to be innocent of wrongdoing by insisting they're not very good at their jobs.
Clinton is Sorry You're Too Stupid to Understand Her Lies. Did Hillary do anything wrong? No. "It wasn't the
best choice". Why? Because it's "confusing to people." Is Hillary sorry? Yes, she's "'sorry that this has been
confusing to people." Hillary Clinton is sorry that you're too stupid to believe her excuses. And she would have made a
different choice if she knew how stupid you were. She disagrees with the choice she made, only because she had not previously
imagined just how stupid everyone was. Now she's sorry... that you're too stupid to understand why a top government official
would want to run her own email server with classified information and poor security that she then wiped. She's sorry that you
can't understand why her associate is refusing to cooperate with the FBI.
"You Think We're That Stupid?"
The almost unbelievable tale of Hillary Clinton's private email/server used for her official State Department business is fraught with
loose ends. While we struggle to keep up with developments, America Rising has put together the video [in this article] giving us
a fair take on the story so far. [Video clip]
Mission creep: HHS cross-promotes EPA program.
pitches 'clean power' for kids with claims it will cut asthma, pollen, and Lyme disease. It's nothing but a
Stalinist propaganda campaign, taking over every aspect of intellectual life. It has no tether to any legitimate exercise
of government power — which would start, if nowhere else, with executive departments staying in their lanes and not
advertising each other's programs with heavy-breathing flourishes.
Secretary Pitches Clean Power Plan to Kids, With Reference to 'Cooties'. "The only thing your kids should be
afraid of catching in the backyard is cooties," says Health and Human Services Secretary Sylvia Burwell. That's one of
the reasons why the Obama administration's Clean Power Plan is "good for our children's health," Burwell blogged last week.
She explained that the rule finalized this month by the Environmental Protection Agency will "leave the planet safer and healthier
for our children and our grandchildren" by cutting carbon pollution from coal-fired plants.
The Editor says...
Carbon dioxide is not carbon, nor is it pollution. If you mean carbon dioxide emissions, don't say carbon pollution.
Bernie Sanders ignorance
watch. [Scroll down] Sanders puts it this way: "Men, stand with the women and demand pay equity.
There is no defensible reason why women are making 78 cents on the dollar. That has got to change." What has
got to change is Democrats like Sanders exploiting the ignorance of their adherents. Unfortunately, however, such
exploitation has become a mainstay of the party.
Hillary Clinton: My Greatest
Weakness Is Stupid People Who Don't Understand Why I Should Be President. [Scroll down]
Got that? Clinton's biggest fault is her inability to deal with you idiots who can't comprehend why
Hillary Clinton should be president.[...] This weakness was on display in 2008 during the Democratic primary,
when Hillary was brought to tears upon realizing that Democratic voters might reject her in favor of an
inexperienced celebrity like Barack Obama.
Don't worry about 'Climate Security', Global
warming gang's got you covered. A friend sends the heads up to be on the alert for a
new term being put into use by the busy as beavers climate change fraudsters: The newly minted term
du jour is: 'Climate Security'. (Financial Times, July 27, 2015.) It would
help more than anything if the global warming/climate change shysters could get the masses to believe
that that they need protection from the weather and that they are the only ones that can provide it.
Chief: Climate Change Is Fact Because Bad Weather Leads the News. EPA administrator
Gina McCarthy said there is no need to continue debating the science behind climate change. "I
can remember a day when the weather report was in the middle of the domestic and international news
and took about a minute and a half. It wasn't the news. When you go on the news today the first
thing you'll hear about is the weather. So there is a dramatic difference in the way people perceive
the ability of the climate to impact their lives because they're feeling it today," McCarthy said during an
event sponsored by the Christian Science Monitor.
The Editor says...
The weather is the lead story on the local news because it's cheap and easy to have someone state the obvious. It is sometimes the
first event in a newscast because the rest of the show isn't ready yet. Weather is usually not an issue, and the coverage of
routine conditions (which anyone with two eyes and a window can see for himself) is filler. Weather announcers routinely
tell their audiences how to avoid the effects of hot weather or cold weather or heavy rain, not because the weather is any more severe
these days, but because they think the viewers are too stupid to figure it out. So the presence of abundant weather coverage on
TV is not because the weather is bad, it's because the state of journalism is bad.
New Syndrome: Anything But Islam. Examples of liberals defending jihadist behavior are
far too numerous to detail. From elected officials to entertainers to grandmas and college students
on social media, they can be found by the millions singing a similar tune, defending people who are
beheading, dropping off buildings, burning, drowning, burying alive, and worse (if they can think of
worse) in the name of service to their god. The White House, via State Dept. Deputy Spokesperson
Marie Huff, has gone so far as to suggest a driving force behind such bombings and beheadings being
a lack of quality jobs. Yeah, jobs! That's it. A lousy job leads you to cut
people's heads off! Anything but Islam.
to Obama, Racial Division Will Never End. Obama is the president of the United States, yet he
persists on dividing us, not uniting us. It is the goal of the Left to break us all down into groups,
so that you can be "treated fairly" by your benevolent government. Let's say you are black.
No matter what your background, experience, family life, likes, dislikes, work ethic, whether you are a
professional or unemployed, you are going to be treated as if the government has to fix things for you,
even if you don't want them "fixed" — and it's all for your own good.
Not If But When the Government Seizes Private Retirement Savings. A little-noticed rule from the Department
of Labor this week could affect millions of retirement investments. On page 4 of the proposed regulation, DoL
expresses the view that "seldom" can Americans "prudently manage retirement benefits on their own" and that they "generally
cannot distinguish good investments from bad." The government steps in and makes the cost of some of these investments
too high for many. The Competitive Enterprise Institute calls it "Obamacare for Your IRA." It's a hidden tax
scheme you can read about at Fox Business. The point of mentioning it is that the government thinks you're stupid and
they need to step in.
o' the day, spotted at — of all places — The New York Times.
["]I don't care for Mrs. Clinton. She is untruthful and extremely overrated. Much of
her support is based on sympathy because she married a serial philanderer. But lying is now,
for the Democrat Party, the state of the art with respect to campaigning and governing. It's
an indispensable part of modern liberalism. The whole point is that the Democrat elite and
their bureaucrats know better. They know what's good for the masses. The masses are
dumb and do not know what's good for them.["]
Ethanol And Motorcycles. Pardon the bureaucrat
speak, but on May 29 the Environmental Protection Agency: "announced proposed volume requirements under the
Renewable Fuel Standard (RFS) program for the years 2014, 2015 and 2016, and also proposed volume requirements
for biomass-based diesel for 2017. The proposal would boost renewable fuel production and provide for
ambitious yet responsible growth over multiple years, supporting future expansion of the biofuels industry."
That's how your government speaks to you; Like they are Foghorn Leghorn and your name is "Boy."
Praises 'Good Idea' to Have More Women on American Money. President Obama signaled support for putting the faces of more
women on American money during a speech in Kansas City on Wednesday [6/17/2015]. "Last week a young girl wrote to ask me why aren't
there any women on our currency," Obama said.
The Editor says...
Raise your hand if you believe that a little girl spontaneously and coincidentally wrote to
Barack H. Obama to ask a feminist question about U.S. currency, just last week.
to Call for Expansion of Early Voting Scam Nationwide. In whatever universe the
Democrats are inhabiting, the two most difficult things to do seem to be getting an ID or reading a
calendar to plan for 30 minutes at the polls. While I don't think it helps much to immediately
dismiss people on the other side of the political aisle as stupid, the Democrats keep asking us to
treat them that way.  The notion that current early voting laws are "restrictive" is laughable.
Journalist Wants Republican Presidential Candidates to 'Unleash Their Lizard Brains' in Upcoming
Debates. Three mainstream media journalists are showing their bias against the large
field of Republican Presidential candidates. In a recent podcast, they discussed the 2016
campaign. When asked by MSNBC's Alex Wagner what she thought of the Republican candidates who will
be invited to participate in the upcoming Fox News debates, Annie Lowrey, who writes for New York
Magazine, let loose: "Even in terms of getting a better bread and circus type ludicrous
production, which as a journalist is all that I care about, I just want chaos, anarchy, racist
comments, sexist comments, I want, I want the worst of these people, I want them to, like, unleash
their lizard brains."
Deliberately Caused Delay Of Email Release By Submitting Only Paper Copies. She thinks we are all stupid and
that we don't get it. But we do: Hillary set up her home server to circumvent the Freedom of Information
Act, she did just that, and once caught, she wiped her server clean and got rid of everything she didn't want us to see.
One of the ways of fighting poverty, [President Obama] proposed, was to "ask from society's lottery
winners" that they make a "modest investment" in government programs to help the poor. Since free
speech is guaranteed to everyone by the First Amendment to the Constitution, there is nothing to
prevent anybody from asking anything from anybody else. But the federal government does not just
"ask" for money. It takes the money it wants in taxes, usually before the people who have earned it
see their paychecks. Despite pious rhetoric on the left about "asking" the more fortunate for
more money, the government does not "ask" anything. It seizes what it wants by force. If
you don't pay up, it can take not only your paycheck, it can seize your bank account, put a lien
on your home and/or put you in federal prison. So please don't insult our intelligence by talking
piously about "asking."
Need a Trigger Warning on Trigger Warnings. I have to admit, the first time I heard about trigger
warnings, I thought they were a joke. In short, trigger warnings assume that students are so infantile that
they cannot handle classroom discussion or themes in great literature that push them beyond their comfort zone.
fawning press and Hillary Clinton's Iowa magical mystery tour. No one in their right

advisers think that Iowans are that simple-minded, shame on them.

deceptions on Iran and Cuba. Remember Jonathan Gruber, the Obamacare architect who as
caught on tape boasting how the president had taken advantage of the "stupidity" of American voters
to pass his health-care law? Well it seems, Obama is applying the "Gruber Doctrine" once
again — this time to foreign policy.
Clinton's insultingly vapid video. The more I watch Hillary Clinton's announcement
video, the less I like it. [...] For one, the video was relentlessly, insultingly vapid —
a Verizon commercial without the substance. "Americans have fought their way back from tough
economic times, but the deck is still stacked in favor of those at the top," Clinton said in what
passed for a meaty message. "Everyday Americans need a champion, and I want to be that
champion." Seriously, this makes Ronald Reagan's gauzy "It's Morning Again in America"
commercial look like a Brookings Institution seminar on economic policy.
The next Obama. [Scroll down] Obama is the most extreme leftist ever to become
president. He has no real commitment to the U.S. Constitution, as he has said himself, but he
obviously does have a yen for Islamist extremists like the Muslim Brotherhood and the Iranian mullahs.
Remember, these are seriously delusional people. They think they deserve untrammeled power over the
rest of us, because they, and only they, know how to run things. They believe that regular Americans
are stupid, when they believe in the viability of Marxism, the global warming fraud, and killing off U.S. energy
independence. But they are experts at political deception and manipulation, and the public is still mostly
in the dark.
Choke Point is government run amuck. Liberal economist and health care advisor
Jonathan Gruber was forced to testify before a House committee months ago to explain and apologize
for his now infamous comments about the "stupidity of the American voter." While Gruber was
scolded by members of both parties for callously dismissing the actions of millions of Americans,
his comments represent a feeling all too common among the Beltway establishment. They will not
admit it, but they really believe that voters are dumb and consumers need government to protect them
on Clinton emails, IRS, VA, Fast and Furious: I heard about it on the news. The most
powerful man in the world sure seems to get a lot of information about what's going on inside his
administration from outside news reports. The latest example was President Obama saying in an
interview aired over the weekend that he learned of his former secretary of state's personal email
use from the media. Asked when he first found out Hillary Clinton was using a non-official
system to conduct government business, Obama told CBS News: "The same time as everybody else,
through news reports."
says he learned of Clinton using private email through news reports. President Obama
says he first learned from news reports that his former secretary of state, Hillary Clinton, used a
private email account during her tenure, amid reports the White House and State Department may have
known as far back as last August that Clinton did not use government email. "The same time
everybody else learned it, through news reports," Obama told CBS' Bill Plante, in response to a

Clinton's private email address use for official State Department business after a New York Times
report, he told CBS News in an interview. CBS News senior White House correspondent Bill Plante
asked Mr. Obama when he learned about her private email system after his Saturday [3/7/2015] appearance
in Selma, Alabama. "The same time everybody else learned it through news reports," the president

Clinton during her time in office, but he was unaware of that she used the personal account exclusively and housed
it on a private server.

The president is either lying or he is monumentally stupid, or his staff is incompetent and corrupt. Take your pick.
Using the "I'm Completely Ignorant of the Internet" Defense. Remember when Obama was
being sold as the smart tech-savvy pol? And now suddenly he's too stupid to know that the email he
was using for Hillary had no .gov on the end and that Clintonemail.com isn't a branch of the government?
Is this supposed to fool anyone remotely conversant with the internet? First Obama's people, as usual,
that he only found out about Clinton's use of a private email address from the news. Then it turned out
that the White House had known about it all along. Now the fallback position is that Obama is completely
ignorant of how the internet works.

8 Times Obama
Says He Was Way Out of the Loop. It's a remarkable irony: the same U.S. president
whose administration has gone to great lengths to monitor journalists, whistleblowers and the
public, claims to be oddly in the dark regarding basic information on some of his biggest
controversies. Here are eight instances in which President Obama said he heard it on
the news — or way after-the-fact — just like ordinary Americans.
Reasons Why We Really Hate the Media. [#6] They don't understand people, for whom they
mostly have contempt. When you live in the Bos-Wash corridor, everything else is flyover country,
including California. It's populated by "the other" — Christians, gun nuts, hillbillies
who didn't go to Harvard. Big-time journalists approach such people like anthropologists doing field
work — and then they make fun of them. And by "them," I mean "you."
the Best People. In 2006 president Obama told an audience that he had "stolen ideas
liberally" from Gruber, "one of the brightest minds from academia and policy circles". Gruber once
had multiple contracts worth millions to supply economic modeling to the president's signature
healthcare program. He was riding high. Then Rich Weinstein an investment adviser from
Philadelphia found a series of videos taken at small forums in which Gruber confided to audiences
the less than flattering inside dope on Obamacare. It portrayed an administration laughing at
ignorant voters for believing in the promises of the program. After the videos were publicized
Gruber's world began to fall apart.
Outrage. [Scroll down] We might read about Obama's Grammy and Nobel Peace Prize,
but how about his Lie of the Year, bestowed upon him by PolitiFact.com, for his repeated claims that
"if you like your healthcare plan, you can keep it"? But facts do not seem to matter to Democrats,
only rage that can motivate people to vote for them. Their leader Barack Obama is a con man who
thinks Americans are stupid people, susceptible to believing any stories he peddles.
Crusades. After six years, it is so tiring to constantly be lectured to, talked down
to, by Barack Obama that at some level, the content doesn't really matter. It's the principle of the
thing. We elected a commander-in-chief, not a scold-in-chief, but the latter is what the progressive
Left, embodied by Obama, sees as its primary role today. They just can't see the rest of the country,
outside the Upper East Side salons and Cambridge and San Francisco dining rooms, as adults. We're all
of us, all 300 million of us, the slightly dim children that need to be lectured to constantly.
Lady: kids will 'eventually' embrace new school lunches. In an interview with Cooking
Light magazine to mark the fifth anniversary of her Let's Move initiative, the first lady says that
she sees the effort as "generational." Eventually, Obama argues, schools will be filled with
children who never knew meals that did not conform to new nutritional standards. "We're really
thinking about the kids who are kindergartners today," Obama said. "If all they know are whole
grains and vegetables, by the time they're graduating from high school, this will be their norm;
they won't know anything different."
need a president who believes in America. If there's anything we've learned in six years of
President Obama's administration it's that he doesn't like us or trust us very much, and that he believes
we're not very smart.
Obama's Paris No-Show OK Because 'What Happened Had a Spontaneity to It'. House
Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) excused President Obama's absence from a Paris march on
Sunday because last Wednesday's terrorist attack there was a "spontaneous" event. At a news
conference with her caucus' new policy and communications committee today, Pelosi elaborated a bit
on Obama's meeting with "a chunk of" House and Senate Democratic and Republican leadership. [...]
Pelosi said there was no discussion about Obama's no-show among nearly 50 world leaders who linked
arms in Paris in a show of solidarity against terrorism. "That didn't come up at the meeting,"

2015: The ObamaCare
Crucible. Thanks to the administration's many friends in the media, the Gruber story
itself will not cause as much damage as it would if the videos had caught a Republican making
similarly offensive comments. But the perception of an arrogant elite foisting a costly and
unpopular bill on a resistant American public will be hard to erase. Gruber's comments seemed at
heart the purest example of modern, activist liberal thinking: We, the elites, know what is good for
the people, but it is too difficult to explain to the hoi polloi. It must be foisted upon
them for their own benefit.
Couldn't Write This. Audiences are more sophisticated than Hollywood gives them credit.
No matter how weak the plot, watching Ironman throw around cars seems more believable than the pompous,
obnoxious, self-important stories of some lib fighting the corrupt system.
Has America Finally Begun to Despise
BOTH Parties? For many years average Americans, regardless of color, gender, national
origin, religious affiliation (or lack of any religion), level of formal education or any other
cultural identity have despised Democrat politicians more than Republican politicians. Why would
this be so? Largely it can be assumed that Republicans have had a much better track record of
hiding their elitism than Democrats have. Professor Gruber recently provided evidence of this
elitism by simply stating that those self-same average Americans are "stupid". Kind of hard
not to despise such creatures.
Sign Petition to Make Jonathan Gruber Sec. of Defense. By now, most of us know how
Obamacare Architect Jonathan Gruber feels about the American voter. He thinks that a lot of them
are pretty stupid. At least, the ones who bought into the sales pitch that he created in order to
convince the American people Obamacare was a terrific idea. But, was he right? Are American
voters really as dim-witted as Gruber thinks they are?
believe the general American public is incredibly stupid and ignorant. More than any
ethnic group or global population, Americans are profoundly incapable of basic consciousness. Our
disregard for science, the arts, environmentalism, progressive political causes, public education,
the Democratic Party, European superiority, and the moral superiority of the indigenous tribes are
all characteristics that make the average American a painful study in ignorance that Maher, Stewart,
Krugman, Crowley, Frank, and Friedman can barely tolerate. The stupidity of Americans necessitates
and justifies all kinds of rhetorical manipulations aimed at raising them up out of their failure to
follow the example set by the higher beings inhabiting the East and West Coast and select urban centers.
IRS Scandal Is Not Going Away. The utter contempt the Obama administration shows
toward the oversight powers of Congress, toward the millions of information technology-savvy
Americans who grasp the lying and silly explanations provided by the administration, and toward
federal judges who have ordered serious explanations for presumably "destroyed" e-mails is
breathtaking and appalling.
Feinstein and the consequences of deceit. After years of deception and cover-up, the
American people, through the hard work of their congressional representatives, finally learned the
ugly truth this week about terrible acts done in their name but without their knowledge. While many
of those responsible continue to defend their handiwork, the revelations are sure to leave a permanent
stain on those in government who played any role in the atrocities revealed. Of course, I'm talking
about what MIT Professor Jonathan "the stupidity of the American people" Gruber was forced to cough up
when he was hauled before the House Oversight Committee this week.
Architect Jonathan Gruber to Testify on Capitol Hill This Week About "Stupidity of American Voters".
MIT professor and Obamacare architect Jonathan Gruber will testify on Capitol Hill Tuesday about his role in selling
the 2010 healthcare law to "stupid American voters" through deception and non-transparency. The hearing will
be held by the House Oversight Committee and Gruber will have to field questions from Chairman Darrell Issa and
angry lawmakers about the legislation.
Jonathan Gruber Topple Obamacare? Ever since the videos started popping up, one after another, America has
come to know Gruber — the MIT economist who worked closely on both Obamacare and Romneycare — as the
guy who thinks voters are "stupid." And the guy who thinks Obamacare was passed because of trickery. And who
says, ha-ha, voters don't understand economics. For a while, Fox News didn't have to bother running anything else.
Now America is about to see Gruber in a new role: congressional witness.
Issa Asks Jonathan Gruber, "Are You Stupid?" MIT economist Jonathan Gruber is testifying before the
House Oversight and Reform Committee, along with CMS Administrator Marilyn Tavenner and ObamaCare superfan Ari
Goldman this morning [12/9/2014]. Gruber is on the hot seat to explain and justify his controversial statements
about ObamaCare, Tavenner to answer questions about her sketchy ObamaCare enrollment numbers and Goldman was chosen by
Democrats to sit on the panel to defend ObamaCare. Gruber offered a profuse apology after Rep. Darrell Issa
accused him of "a pattern of intentional misleading" to get ObamaCare passed.
Gruber gets Gowdy-ed. Obamacare architect Jonathan Gruber, voluntarily
testified before the House Oversight Committee today. Made famous when his comments about Obamacare were unearthed
in all their truthful glory, Gruber took great pains to sidestep any question that touched upon the veracity of his remarks.
Gruber's defense amounted to, "I'm not a politician, and I was using inexcusable language to make myself sound smarter than I

Delusional as Time Runs Out. Facing almost certain political extinction, Louisiana
Senator Mary Landrieu appears to have retreated into her own private world of delusion and denial,

questioning whether the local radio host interviewing her could read. Her disdain for the host
was probably due to the fact that he is a well-known Tea Party conservative.
Americans don't like Obamacare because their "financial literacy is low". Well, she
may claim to not know who Jonathan Gruber is, but she sure did get a copy of his talking points.

consultant agrees to testify. Jonathan Gruber, the former ObamaCare adviser in hot
water for his comments about the "stupidity of the American voter," has agreed to testify at a House
panel next month, setting up a healthcare showdown in what could be the final week of this Congress.
The House Oversight and Government Reform Committee will also hear from Obama administration official Marilyn
Tavenner, who is under fire this week for using inflated enrollment figures for the healthcare law.
Forgotten Americans. In our vast nation of 320 million people, there are still
millions of mostly middle-class voters, along with the proverbial white working class, who are
ignored by Democrats. They feel desperately squeezed by the higher taxes necessary to fulfill the
dreams of progressive elites. And they feel they are not on the receiving end of government
entitlements the way the underclass is, while being a regular target of cheap progressive rhetoric,
from "clingers" to "stupid."
Explaining Away Obama.
When the president uses emphatics like "really" or "actually" or "make no mistake about it, "let me
be clear," "in point of fact" or "this is unacceptable," we know that what follows will be untrue
and others will be blamed for the president's own self-induced blunders. Like Jonathan Gruber, and
his surreal statements on amnesty, Obama believes that Americans are too stupid to retrieve videos
and transcripts that prove that Obama makes things up and contradicts himself serially.
calls Gruber to testify before Oversight. The House Oversight Committee is asking
embattled former ObamaCare consultant Jonathan Gruber to testify at a hearing next month on the
"transparency failures" of the administration's healthcare law. Oversight Committee Chairman
Darrell Issa (R-Calif.) sent a letter to Gruber on Thursday, about two weeks after videos surfaced
in which the Massachusetts Institute of Technology professor suggested that a "lack of transparency"
and the "stupidity of the American voter" helped Congress pass the Affordable Care Act.
Got 24 Times the Average 'Stupid' American's Salary for Obamacare Work. According to
government data, the nearly $6 million in confirmed taxpayer dollars that Obamacare architect
Jonathan Gruber was paid from 2009 to 2014 — about $1 million per year — is
roughly 24 times the average salary earned by full-time American workers in the same general time
frame. The average annual full-time U.S. salary was about $41,600 in those years, which multiplied
24 times is $998,400, or nearly $1 million a year.
Host Literally Screams 'No One Cares About Jonathan Gruber!' MSNBC's "The Cycle" went
into overdrive while covering for the Obama administration and the recent videos of Obamacare
architect Jonathan Gruber insulting American voters and admitting to lying about to law, with
co-host Ari Melber literally screaming "Nobody cares about Jonathan Gruber!"
on Gruber: I Just Heard About This Today. Sunday [11/16/2014] on Fox News Channel's
"Fox & Friends," network White House corespondent Ed Henry asked President President Obama about
Jonathan Gruber and the president claimed he had just heard about the ObamaCare architect before
walking out on stage in Australia.
Heard of that Gruber Guy. This is it, Obama dead-enders. This is the Big One. Your
leader has demanded some humiliating loyalty tests from you in the past, but now he's expressing nothing less
than sneering contempt for your intelligence.
Joe Bashes Obama for Gruber Response: 'White House Thinks People Are Stupid'. Tuesday
morning [11/18/2014] on Morning Joe the entire panel expressed bafflement that despite
evidence of President Barack Obama and MIT professor Jonathan Gruber's intellectual relationship,
the former attempted to dismiss the latter as just "some adviser" when asked about Gruber's
controversial comments. Over the past ten days, multiple videos have emerged of Gruber suggesting
the Affordable Care Act only passed because of a "lack of transparency" and "the stupidity of the
American voter." By carefully disguising the health care mandate as something other than a tax,
Gruber has repeatedly said, the public was more welcoming to the legislation.
Stupid really is as Stupid does.
It seems every day we're greeted by a new Jonathan Gruber video saying how stupid the American Voter
is and that is why the Obamacare bill was drafted so as to fool them. Frankly I can't argue with his
conclusion. I just wish the pundits would remind all that not one Republican voted for Obamacare so
basically it was the Dem voters that needed this deceitful tactic. Conservative voters knew from the
get-go that the law was a disaster. We showed up en masse at town hall meetings and started
the tea party grass roots movement in 2009 because we are not stupid.
liberal ideology — Americans too 'stupid' to know what's good for them.
There really is something truly terrifying about liberals. They deem themselves the keepers
of the moral good, with only their goals and aspirations worthy, so they don't care a bit about how
they achieve them. For liberals, the ends justify the means — always. And that's
terrifying. To liberals, all conservatives or moderates or libertarians — everyone who
does not think exactly like them — are stupid. They simply don't understand the
complexities of the world, can't possibly fathom them, or else they would be liberal! It's that
simple: If you're not liberal, you're stupid.
Train Wrecks, Lies
and Videotape. An important point has been buried in the avalanche of commentary about
Jonathan Gruber's indictment of the electorate as intellectually deficient. [...] The professor's
condescending comments can only apply to those people who actually believed the empty promises our
President made on behalf of his health care "reform" law. A large plurality of the voters always
knew that Obama, his congressional accomplices, and creepy little hirelings like Jonathan Gruber
were lying to us.
in latest ObamaCare video. The videos Democrats never wanted to see keep coming. A
day after President Obama tried to distance himself from a top health-care architect who said voter

Brookings Institution panel he had "stolen ideas liberally" from MIT professor Jonathan Gruber.
Then-Sen. Obama praised Gruber and other academic and policy experts as the "brightest minds."

stupidity of the American voter". Gruber was a key player in developing the law, and
those remarks weren't the only time an Obama adviser suggested the administration had pulled a fast
one with the law. "They proposed it and that passed because the American voters are too stupid to
understand the difference," he said. The New York Times, in a glowing 2012 profile, said he not
only "...put together the basic principles of the proposal..." but helped Congress, "...draft the
specifics off the legislation." As a consultant, the government paid Gruber — an MIT
economics professor — nearly $400,000 for that work.
'Seniors Do A Terrible Job Choosing' Health Care Plans. Obamacare architect Jonathan
Gruber said "seniors do a terrible job choosing" their own public health care plans, according to
presentation slides Gruber wrote that were obtained by The Daily Caller. With Obamacare limiting
patients' ability to choose their own insurance plans, doctors and medications, we might now know
why: the law's designers don't think people know how to choose.
seems stupid now? [Jonathan] Gruber, who also helped fashion Mitt Romney's health care
program in Massachusetts, is trying to dance away from his remarks, saying the comments were "off

arrogance behind the law. Fox News played a tape of Gruber discussing the "Cadillac tax" on
high-end health plans, which tax the companies providing the plans rather than individuals. He

from Gruberland: Things get dumb and dumberer. "Are the American people too stupid to
understand the true costs associated with Obamacare?" asks a point blank survey question from
Rasmussen Reports. The pollster wonders if voters agree with MIT economist Jonathan Gruber, a key
pointman behind the health care law, caught on video saying that lack of transparency is "a huge
political advantage" and suggesting the cumbersome law itself was too complex for "stupid" Americans.
Gruber and Barack Obama's University Transcripts. Democratic policy star, Ivy League
elitist, and ObamaCare architect Jonathan Gruber thinks Americans are too stupid to understand the
"Cadillac Tax" and much else besides. Given that Obama decreed that ObamaCare was to be
constructed by Gruber, who has said on several occasions (e.g., here) that the people who have been
impacted are dumb, shouldn't Obama, and his Democratic supporters, be willing to demonstrate
to the "dummies" just how smart Obama is? It's not very gentlemanly to form your namesake policy
together with a guy who's wont to call everybody else stupid, when, at the same time, you've refused
to reveal academic data other presidents (even those with bad grades) have willingly disclosed.
Prof Proves Obamacare Was Built by Elites for "Stupid People". Critics of the
Affordable Care Act have long called the law and its fiscal projections inaccurate, deceptive, and
completely unrealistic. The staggered structure of revenues and outlays were designed to get the
Congressional Budget Office to deliver a deficit-neutral verdict on the bill just long enough to
gain passage, even though every year in which outlays and income take place produced deficit
spending even under the rosiest projections.
House says Gruber statements 'Simply not true'. Interesting statement from the White
House on the comments about voter stupidity and lack of transparency made by Obamacare architect
Jonathan Gruber. The statement, given to White House water carrier Talking Points Memo, tries to
furiously spin the remarks while setting up a gigantic straw man to distract from the devastating
import of the words.
Obamacare deception of 'stupid' Americans. Paternalism is a desperate gamble that
lying politicians will honestly care for those who fall under their power. This axiom has been made
stark with the controversy arising from a video of Jonathan Gruber, one of the architects of Obamacare,
admitting that the administration conned the American public and blaming dumb voters for the flimflam.
You, Jonathan Gruber. Gruber swiftly went on MSNBC to explain that his comments should
be discounted because he was speaking "off the cuff." Then two other videos surfaced of him saying
much the same thing at different venues. Calling the American public stupid appears to have been one
of Gruber's favorite rhetorical tropes. At one of his appearances, his audience can be heard laughing
appreciatively. H. L. Mencken famously wrote that no one has "ever lost money by
underestimating the intelligence of the great masses of the plain people." Or, Gruber might add,
ever failed to pass major social legislation by doing the same.
Video Shows Gruber Laughing At and Mocking ObamaCare Critic's Accurate Predictions. In
one week's time Jonathan Gruber has gone from the brilliant and celebrated ObamaCare architect whose
expert views were sought after as he sat on one panel after another — to a completely disowned
laughingstock regarded by the ruling class as having "remarkable hubris" and views that are "not
good" and "damaging." I was actually beginning to feel a little sorry for Gruber. Then this
next video came out.
Again! Fifth Video of Liberal Mastermind Surfaces. He switches it up this time,

who believes it's his moral duty to lie his sub-mental followers towards a better life, but that he
is also the precise embodiment of the far-left Woodrow Wilson-style mastermind who can bedazzle his
sub-mental conservative opponents with his theoretical intellect.
stupidity remark gives GOP new ammo on ObamaCare. Comments about voter stupidity made
by an ally of the Obama administration are turning into conservatives' newest weapon against the
president's healthcare law. A series of unearthed videos of ObamaCare consultant Jonathan Gruber
insulting U.S. voters while saying a "lack of transparency" helped Congress pass the healthcare law
are attracting serious attention on the right just as Republicans prepare to take control of the Senate.
Third video emerges
of Obamacare architect insulting voters. A third video emerged Wednesday of MIT
economist Jonathan Gruber, one of the architects of the Affordable Care Act, or Obamacare, insulting
voters and suggesting their ignorance was exploited by those pushing passage of the health care law.
Neither the White House nor Gruber would comment. In this one, Gruber was discussing how then-Sen. John
Kerry, D-Massachusetts, pushed forward a way to add a tax on expensive health insurance plans, or "Cadillac
Plans," that would purportedly tax the insurance companies though Gruber suggests everyone knew the companies
would just pass on the additional cost to customers.
House disagrees with 'stupidity' comments. The White House on Thursday [11/13/2014] said it
disagreed "vigorously" with comments made by Jonathan Gruber, an architect of the Affordable Care
Act who said the bill was designed to take advantage of the "stupidity of the American voter."
Cover Story: 'Why Are Obama's Critics So Dumb?'
Is there anything the mainstream media won't do
to get Obama reelected?
Finally Covers Gruber Revealing ObamaCare Deception. After a video of ObamaCare
architect Jonathan Gruber declaring that the health care law only passed due to the "stupidity of
the American voter" went viral over the weekend, the Big Three broadcasts networks were initially
silent. However, on Thursday [11/13/2014], CBS This Morning finally noticed the scandal as co-host
Charlie Rose informed viewers: "A new controversy stirring this morning over the Affordable Care Act.
An architect of President Obama's health care law says it was written to take advantage of what he
calls 'voter stupidity.'"
Foundation of Lies. Appearing on an academic panel a year ago, this key Obamacare
adviser argued that the law never would have passed if the administration had been honest about the
fact that the so-called penalty for noncompliance with the mandate was actually a tax. "And,
basically, call it 'the stupidity of the American voter,' or whatever, but basically that was
really, really critical to getting the thing to pass," Gruber said. He called you stupid.
He admitted that the White House lied to you.
Airs New Gruber Video: Voters 'Too Stupid to Understand the Difference'. [On 11/11/2014, Megyn] Kelly teed up
the new clip (a five-second soundbite during a speech Gruber gave last year) by saying he was explaining how Democrats "played
with the language of the Obamacare law." She then played the video, in which Gruber was talking about getting the law
passed, and then said, "The American voters are too stupid the understand the difference."
video #2: No, really, American voters are stupid. Jonathan Gruber attempted to escape
scrutiny for his October 2013 declaration that Americans are "stupid" and that ObamaCare was
designed to exploit that and hide its true nature by saying that he regretted his "off the cuff"
comments. "I basically spoke inappropriately," he told Ronan Farrow, "and I regret having made those
comments." Last night, though, a second video emerged from the same time period in which Gruber
explained that the ACA passed "because the American people are too stupid" to understand the law.
Smarter than Thou.
Jonathan Gruber is smart. He is an economist. He teaches at MIT. Do you teach at MIT? Of course you
don't. He is also the architect behind Obamacare. He is really, really smart. Did we mention that?
Of course, when you are as smart as Jonathan Gruber, it is difficult to resist the temptation to pull your light out from
under the bushel on occasion; thus every once in a while there comes an embarrassing revelation. The conservative
group American Commitment recently unearthed one such moment.
Obamacare Architect's Admission of Dishonesty Should Matter to Every American. [Scroll
down] And now, with the statement by Jonathan Gruber we may have reached the ne plus ultra of
statements confirming this administration's essential dishonesty. Here you have one of the consummate Obamacare
insiders — cited 71 times in DNC emails in 2009 alone — saying on video that the bill was designed
to fool stupid voters, in fact to fool them by fooling the non-partisan CBO which is supposed to be an honest
broker. Incredibly, even at this point, there are some, like MSNBC's Ronan Farrow and Washington Post writer
Jose DelReal willing to suggest we're just missing the nuance.
and Those Stupid Voters. Supporters of the Democratic Party have many theories to
explain the drubbing they were handed on Election Day. The explanations seem to boil down to one
basic proposition, however: Voters are too stupid to know what's good for them. [...] The sheer
variety of theories based on the stupidity of voters is what's so impressive. For instance, the
Obama administration's record is good, and the economy is finally doing better; but voters are too
stupid to see that. Or: The policy record is poor and the economy is screwed, which is the
Republicans' fault for paralyzing Washington; and voters are too stupid to see that. Or:
Jonathan Gruber Went from Hero to Goat in Court Filings. In less than a year Jonathan Gruber has gone from being
cited as an outstanding expert on health reform modeling to being downplayed as "a private citizen" who misspoke. The tone
in Halbig/King filings has certainly changed over the past year.
Architect Gruber: I Regret Calling American People 'Stupid'. Obamacare architect Jonathan Gruber said Tuesday [11/11/2014]
that he regrets saying that aspects of Obamacare needed to be concealed from the public due to the "stupidity of the American voter."
"Do you stand by the comments in that video?," MSNBC host Ronan Farrow asked Gruber, referring to a video of Gruber explaining how a
lack of transparency helped Obamacare pass into law.
Gruber to MSNBC: My 'Stupidity of the American Voter' Remark was Inappropriate.
Jonathan Gruber, MIT professor and so-called architect of Obamacare, is walking back year-old
remarks that the health care system overhaul passed only because of a "lack of transparency" and the
"stupidity of the American voter." On MSNBC Tuesday [11/11/2014], Gruber told Ronan Farrow that
he "spoke inappropriately" when he made the comments, which surfaced this week in an online video.
"The comments in the video were made at an academic conference," Gruber said. "I was speaking off
the cuff and I basically spoke inappropriately and I regret having made those comments."
Ways ObamaCare Hides Its Costs. "Lack of transparency is a huge political advantage.
Call it the stupidity of the American voter, or whatever, but basically that was really, really
critical to getting the thing to pass." That was MIT economist Jonathan Gruber, one of the key
architects of ObamaCare, explaining how ObamaCare was purposefully designed to obfuscate how it was
financed, how the subsidies worked and other unpleasant features of the law. "If you made it
explicit that healthy people were going to pay and sick people get money, it would not have passed,"
Gruber said, adding that the bill "was written in a tortured way to make sure the (Congressional
Budget Office) did not score the mandate as a tax."
and Impeachment. So, on immigration, the president has managed to unite much of the
country ... against him — who says he's divisive? Nevertheless, Obama made clear
again this week that he intends to push ahead with massive amnesty by executive order. Further
infuriating the public with his cynicism, he has strategically but quite openly delayed his
directive until after the election, as if to say, "The rubes are too stupid to grasp what I'm
doing even when I make no secret of it!"

Architect: WH Preyed on 'The Stupidity of the American Voter'. A key architect of
Obamacare has been caught openly boasting about taking advantage of, what he calls, "the stupidity

the political hurdles Obamacare faced in 2009-10. The video was unearthed and posted on Youtube by
Architect: Lack of Transparency Was Key Because 'Stupidity Of The American Voter' Would Have Killed
Obamacare. Obamacare architect Jonathan Gruber said that lack of transparency was a
major part of getting Obamacare passed because "the stupidity of the American voter" would have
killed the law if more people knew what was in it. Gruber, the MIT professor who served as a
technical consultant to the Obama administration during Obamacare's design, also made clear during a
panel quietly captured on video that the individual mandate, which was only upheld by the Supreme
Court because it was a tax, was not actually a tax.
Panelist: Progressives Don't Dumb Things Down for Public Consumption, Hence Midterm Loss. Appearing as a
panelist on the November 6 Hardball, liberal talk show host Joe Madison offered his assessment for why Democrats
lost the 2014 midterms: Liberals, being the intellectuals they are, talk above the heads of the average voter, rather than
communicating their ideas in an accessible manner for the layman to understand. They need to "put it where the goats
can get it," as Madison's grandfather would say.
Democrat Lies Won't Confuse Blacks This Time. The way for a Party to get support is to
deliver success. When there is no record of success, lies, distortion, and fear become the operative
tools, in hope that uninformed voters will buy the garbage.
To Black Voters: Just Vote Democrat, Then Celebrate With Fried Chicken. First lady
Michelle Obama has a message to black voters: Don't worry about what candidates have done or
said — just vote for the Democrats.
Ebola and American
Racism. In his October 18 Weekly Address, with the Orwellian title "What You Need To
Know About Ebola," President Barack Obama scolded Americans. "We can't give in to hysteria or fear
because that only makes it harder to get people the accurate information they need. We have to be
guided by the science. We have to remember the basic facts," nagged Obama. The implication here
is, of course, that Americans are hysterical, panic-prone ninnies who need their president's wagging
index finger to remind them that science is superior to hysteria and fear.
Why Do Democrats
Oppose Voter ID? Leftist opponents of voter ID truly think minorities are less able to
function in American life. I learned this when a Department of Justice Voting Section lawyer
opposed to voter ID told me he thought blacks were more likely to forget their photo identification
than whites were. Their lives "were more disorganized," he said. This is a lawyer currently still
working in the Civil Rights Division at the Justice Department. This is a perfect example of the
"soft bigotry of low expectations."
Obama insults Democrat voters. You can tell that Democrats are starting to panic. They
are saying stupid things. Add to the list that includes Wendy Davis, Alison Grimes, and Mark Udall
the name of First Lady Michelle Obama. She resorted to mocking Democrats as lazy and ungrammatical
in hopes of motivating her dispirited base to the polls.
Lundergan Grimes Is Running the Worst Senate Campaign of the Year. It seems like a
safe assumption that if you're currently a Democratic candidate for the U.S. Senate, you voted for
Barack Obama two years ago. And if you're a Democratic candidate for the U.S. Senate who also served
as a delegate for Obama at the 2012 Democratic Convention? Well then, yeah, it's a very good bet you
pulled the lever for the president that year. But Alison Lundergan Grimes, currently the
Democratic candidate for the U.S. Senate in Kentucky and a delegate for Obama at the Democratic
National Convention in 2012, apparently thinks voters are idiots.
Pass-the-Buck Presidency. In attempting to downplay the political damage from a slew
of second-term controversies, President Obama has counted on the American people having a very short
memory span and a healthy suspension of disbelief. The time-tested strategy for Obama: Claim he's in
the dark about his own administration's activities, blame the mess on subordinates, and hope that
with the passage of time, all will be forgotten. Harry Truman, the president isn't. He's
more likely to pass the buck.
as Low Information Voters. For several years now we have heard much of the plague of
"low information voters" — those legions of the supposedly ignorant who walk, clueless on
the issues, into our polling places, casting their votes for candidates the details of whose
programs are as familiar to them as quantum mechanics. But we may have a more significant problem.
[...] I'm talking about the workaday liberal, the well-educated professionals who are our friends,
relatives and neighbors. They are, increasingly, low information voters, living in willful or
perhaps willed blindness.
Between Winners and Whiners. Democrats think conservatives in general, and Tea
Partiers in particular, are stupid. Here's how to reinforce that belief: Sit out the 2014
congressional elections because your favorite candidate lost his primary bid to an establishment Republican.
think we are stupid. Many Democrat leaders, led by President Obama, have a low opinion
of Americans. They are trying to trick us into believing our local Congressmen and Senators are not
his enablers. They are and should be treated as such in the voting booth. Jay Cost has written a
column for the Weekly Standard titled "The Rubes' Revenge," outlining the strategy Democrats are
using to sprinkle pixie dust and transform Obama allies in Congress into your allies. He
calls it "sneak it pass the rubes theory" politics. Democrats vote with liberal leadership once
they win their elections but revert to lying about it when they address voters back home.
Immigration Lies. One wonders just how stupid the
Obama administration thinks people are. In claiming he is only delaying his immigration amnesty announcement for the good of the people,
President Obama is either lying to us or to himself. He could be lying to himself, I grant it, because for Obama to admit that he is
doing something out of rank political considerations puts way too much stress on his self-image.
Obama To Voters: You Are So
Stupid. Obama frequently seeks to exploit the ignorance of voters, but here he's telling us what he's going to do
and when, and counting on enough voters to ignore it to make it worth his while. He must think the voters are really, really
stupid, and of course he can testify to their stupidity from personal experience, if only from the lies they repeatedly bought
from him regarding the nondisruptive character of Obamacare.
Will Legalize Millions After the Election Because You're Stupid. [President Obama] originally promised that, by
summer, he would legalize as many as 6 million, not counting the family members who will extend that number far beyond
5-6 million because of the chain migration meant to keep families together. His self-imposed delay is to not damage
election prospects of congressmen up for reelection. He believes Americans are too stupid to understand the implications
if they don't actually see it.
Summer of Obama's Disconnect. The White House public relations staff must think
Americans are pretty dumb. How else do you explain the way chief spokeswoman Jennifer Palmieri
defended Obama for playing golf immediately after an address about the slaughter of journalist James
Foley? "His concern for the Foleys and Jim," Palmieri said, "was evident to all who saw and heard
his statement." Yes, just as evident as what else the world saw that day: the president's
golf cart, his golf clothes, and his wide, sporty smile.
Post-Foley Fraud About Shariah. President Barack Obama found time between golf rounds
Thursday to condemn the beheading of American journalist James Foley by the Islamic State (also
known as the Islamic State in the Levant or ISIL) and to assure the American people that he was all
about protecting them against similar fates. [...] President Barack Obama found time between golf
rounds Thursday to condemn the beheading of American journalist James Foley by the Islamic State
(also known as the Islamic State in the Levant or ISIL) and to assure the American people that he
was all about protecting them against similar fates. [...] Mr. Obama also asserted that the Islamic
State's "ideology is bankrupt." Calling that ideology bankrupt at a moment when it is palpably on
the march from North and sub-Saharan Africa to the Far East and Latin America bespeaks a contempt
for the intelligence of the American people.
Billionaire: 99.5% of Americans Are Not 'Super Sophisticated'. Billionaire hedge-fund
manager Tom Steyer attempted to explain why there is still a sizable portion of Americans that do
not buy in to global warming alarmism by, basically, generalizing virtually all of America as not
"super sophisticated." [...] Steyer's sweeping generalization is not a new excuse made for why
liberal ideas are not shared by a large swath of the electorate. Coming from a side of the political
isle that prides itself on ending "hate" and precluding judgment on those that are not like them,
many wealthy liberal activists have been quick to make harsh conclusions about any group of people
with whom they disagree.
The Rise of Progressive
Oligarchy. In what might have appeared to be a minor political event a few weeks back,
Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) called congressman Tom Marino (R-PA) "insignificant" and "inconsequential" in a
debate on the House floor. Why would the former House Speaker insult a colleague in such a manner?
She didn't count her way to this assessment; Democrats do not hold a majority of the House. Nor did
she reason her way to this position, as there was nothing in Rep. Marino's argument on the immigration issue
that raised empirical red flags. [...] But what if Pelosi was simply saying what she believed to be true and
acknowledging what ruling class Americans think about their non-ruling class counterparts?
Is Just A Synonym For "Smug". It's astonishing that an ideology which such an unbroken
track record of failure has adherents who are so incredibly pleased with themselves. [...] Liberals
like to look down upon conservatives as backwoods banjo-strumming freaks just waiting to ambush your
canoe trip. Let's put aside the academic studies that show conservatives are generally better
educated than liberals and look at history. Liberalism and its collectivist brethren have never,
ever succeeded anywhere they been tried. The results are always more poverty, more misery and less
Civil Rights Commissioner Says College Students Not Developed Enough for Free Speech.
A U.S. Civil Rights Commissioner thinks that college students are not sufficiently developed to
enjoy their free-speech rights. Democrat Michael Yaki, who previously was senior adviser to Nancy
Pelosi (D., Calif.), explained why he believes campus speech codes should be tightened during a U.S.
Commission on Civil Rights briefing on sexual-harassment law in education. "Certain factors in
how the juvenile or adolescent or young adult brain processes information is vastly different from
the way that we adults do," he said, according to a transcript from law professor Eugene Volokh, who
publishes the blog the Volokh Conspiracy at the Washington Post.
Americans don't have time to think about Benghazi, Obamacare. President Obama told Democratic donors
Wednesday night [7/23/2014] that most Americans don't have time to think about the details of the Benghazi terrorist
attack or the problems with Obamacare. Speaking at a fundraiser at the Los Angeles home of "Grey's Anatomy"
and "Scandal" creator Shonda Rhimes, the president took his usual shots at the Republican Party, suggesting its members
are focused on the wrong issues and frequently "obfuscate and they bamboozle and sometimes don't say what's true."
the White House Lying or Just Bad at Crisis Communications? President Obama's decision
to stick with his schedule of fundraisers and photo opportunities amid twin foreign policy crises
elicited one of the strangest statements you'll ever see from a White House. [...] He and his
advisers are so certain about their moral and political standing that they believe it's enough to
make a declaration. If we say it, the public should believe it. That's not
how it works. A president must earn the public's trust.
Welcome to a government we'll-tell-you-what-to-eat
world. The supermarket 'talking' shopping cart Michelle Obama will use to push her
over-the-top approved food list is a power push over unsuspecting masses, but would serve as the
perfect replacement for her husband's omnipresent rising sun logo. [...] Michelle Obama's
specialized supermarket carts that will notify shoppers when they've selected the right amount of
healthy foods, described in a new 80-page report from the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
Now that they've lured almost 50 percent of Americans onto food stamps, they feel they have
the right to tell them what they can eat.
Examples of What Liberalism REALLY Is. [#5] Liberalism is people who say that asking for voter ID is racist
while claiming that black Americans are too uniquely stupid and lazy to get an ID.
Suggests Changes to Grocery Stores to 'Nudge' Consumers to Eat Healthy. The U.S.
Department of Agriculture (USDA) is suggesting major changes to grocery stores to "nudge" Americans
to purchase healthier foods when they shop. The agency commissioned an "expert panel" to make
recommendations on how to guide the more than 47 million Americans on food stamps into spending
their benefits on fruits and vegetables. The group released an 80-page report this month
presenting their ideas, which include talking shopping carts and a marketing strategy for grocery
chains that would feature better store lighting for healthier items.
All your children belong to us. [A]s government grows bigger and more
powerful, as politicians, bureaucrats and busybodies increasingly think they know best, American families constantly must fight
interference in their most personal decisions and judgments. Of all the threats to our freedoms — warrantless
snooping, government secrecy, expanded police powers — none worries me more than the relentless march of the Nanny
State, which not only assumes that all parents are unfit to raise children, but that parents themselves must be treated like children.
expanding police state. Keep in mind, people in the political class constantly reveal their contempt
for regular citizens. That contempt is the inevitable result of a group of people who have convinced themselves
that big government is necessary because the little people can't control their own lives.
doles out helpful, yet depressing summer safety tips. "People with heart and lung
disease, older adults and children are at greater risk from the presence of pollutants in the air
and should closely monitor the air quality in their area," an EPA press release from Jennifer
Colaizzi stated. "AirNow's Air Quality Index (AQI) translates data into color categories
so people can better understand what actions to take to protect their health."
Are the Democrats Like Hollywood? I have highlighted, from time to time, the
low-grade emails that the Democratic Party uses to fire up, and seek donations from, its
supporters. To put it gently, the party's communications suggest that its leaders believe most
Democrats are stupid. [...] But the Democrats have an iron rule: they never discuss the merits of
any issue in any communication with their members. In fact, they never admit that there are merits
to any issue. Obama is merely "using executive action to get things done." The Constitution
is of no more interest to rank and file Democrats than it is to the 43 Democratic senators
who are trying to repeal the First Amendment as it relates to political campaign speech.
Barry Met Shelly: Authoritarian and Totalitarian Psychology of the Obamas. [Scroll
down] Mrs. Obama's "cause" is to tell everybody what to eat for lunch. Sameness and oneness.
The American people are too stupid to feed their own kids.
The First Parent
Of The United States. Michelle Obama thinks she knows what your children should eat.
She's adamant about promoting her nutrition policies for kids, even the new and disastrous school meal
standards implementing the "Healthy, Hunger-Free Kids Act." [...] Make no mistake; the underlying
assumption is that federal technocrats and educated individuals such as her need to act on your behalf
to meet the best interests of your children. This arrogance is on display in the current
controversy over the new and restrictive federal school meal standards.
Women Vote Democrat Because They Are Smarter. Women vote Democrat because they are
smarter, Obama said to a White House audience Monday afternoon [6/23/2014]. He made the remark at
the end of a talk at the White House Summit on Working Families. "Somebody asked: 'Well, it's
well-known that women are more likely to vote for Democrats,' to which I said, women are smarter,"
Obama said. "This is true."
The people who sold Obamacare on the basis of several undeniable lies are now pushing a "Truth in Advertising Act."
Bill Would Let FTC Regulate Photoshop. Looking too good could literally become a
crime under newly proposed federal legislation, which would give the Federal Trade Commission power
to regulate Photoshop image editing software use in advertising and other media. The Truth in
Advertising Act of 2014 or "Anti-Photoshop Act" was introduced in the U.S. House of Representatives
earlier this year by Florida Republican Rep. Ileana Ros-Lehtinen along with Democrats Lois Capps of
California and Theodore Deutch of Florida. If enacted, the bill will empower the FTC to regulate
and reduce the use of Photoshopped images in media.
Obama: I Couldn't Feed My Kids Right — Even with a Harvard Degree. "I
thought to myself, if a Princeton and Harvard-educated professional woman doesn't know how
to adequately feed her kids, then what are other parents going through who don't have access to the
information I have?" she recalled. Her personal struggle helped her launch her mission to address
childhood obesity, she explains, especially passing a law requiring schools to provide healthier meals
for kids. The First Lady recommended that schools make decisions for children because their
parents struggle to feed their children well.
Obama Neatly Summarizes the Entire Progressive Agenda During a Nutrition Interview.
Is it really that hard? As a parent of five, it didn't take a pediatrician consult for me to
figure out what to put in my kiddo's pie holes. In fact, many parents have successfully fed their
offspring without Princeton and Harvard degrees, in addition to not needing "access to information."
Lastly, as most "working" moms don't earn $316,912 a year, in addition to a husband who was earning
$162,100 as a Senator, perhaps the First Lady protesteth a tad too much.
in America: Kids of Ivy League Parents Starving without Michelle Obama's Intervention. Unfortunately, this highly affluent
woman, who was pulling down in excess of $300,000 for a job in hospital administration before moving into the White House, yet apparently
couldn't devise simple, nutritious menus for her own children without an intervention from the family pediatrician ("Have you considered
arugula, Mrs. Obama?") is now trying to tell an entire nation what to feed the children. Perhaps based on her experience of not having
the foggiest what to feed Malia and Sasha, Mrs. Obama has reformed the school lunch program in public schools.
Americans are Stupid. If the average hard-working American taxpayer gave that excuse
to the IRS enforcers how understanding would they be? The IRS Commissioner John Koskinen
(appointed to the post by Barack Obama) had previously assured the House Oversight and Government
Reform Committee that these emails had been archived and would be made available for inspection.
The IRS has voluminous records stored away on all Americans going back years. The government spends
tens of billions of dollars on record-keeping and computer technology. How stupid does Obama thin
on Lois Lerner's Vanished Emails: 'You've Never Heard of A Computer Crashing Before?
The Internal Revenue Service has told Congress that many of the emails to and from Lois Lerner were
lost in a computer crash in 2011. "You've never heard of a computer crashing before?" White House
spokesman Josh Earnest said on Monday [6/16/2014], when a reporter asked if that was a "reasonable
explanation." "I think it's entirely reasonable, because it's the truth and it's a fact, and
speculation otherwise I think is indicative of the kinds of conspiracies that are propagated around
this story," Earnest said.
How Stupid Does Obama Think We Are? I have a sixth grader and a seventh grader and
when I posed this dilemma to them they both rolled over laughing. At the tender ages of 11 and 13
even they understand that email, both inbound and outbound, by definition is not prisoner to the
computer from which it either originated, or on which it was ultimately received. It is
transmitted over a vast array of interconnected servers to move from point A to ultimately arrive
at point B. Many call this newfangled contraption the world wide web, or internet.
Additionally most organizations have a central email server (SMTP), or, depending on their size, array of
servers, through which all email is transmitted.
IRS emails: Get real, Team Obama, we're not that gullible. Any American with even a
rudimentary knowledge of how electronic messages are sent knows that email records are largely
impervious to anything but the most widespread and systematic computer crashes. Further, we also
know that computer crashes are focused events. When a computer "crashes" it's not able to delete
incriminating emails from specific time periods while leaving all others intact. Indeed, in the
aftermath of this absurd assertion, the response from experts was overwhelming: The story makes no
sense. IRS emails were not permanently stored on Lois Lerner's computer alone (of course) but on
servers that preserve records. They would remain there even if Lerner decided to do something
outrageous like light her computer on fire in an effort to hide her criminal activity.
Thinks You're Stupid, that's Why. Obamacare, a failed trillion dollar stimulus,
sky-high food stamp usage, disability rolls soaring, our national debt mortgaging America's future,
our adversaries and enemies on the march. Obama has compiled quite a list of "accomplishment" as he
fulfills one promise — to fundamentally transform America. Tragically, it has been a
very damaging transformation. [...] All these failures have been justified, explained away or
caused by lies (you can keep your insurance, doctor, and save $2500 on premiums; ObamaCare will add
not a thin dime to the deficit; a red line that was Orwellian-erased when it became an
embarrassment; Al Qaeda was on the run; Benghazi was caused by a video; there was not
a "smidgen of corruption" at the IRS). The lies are too numerous to list [...]
Michelle Obama anti-fat group treats obese as 'idiots'. Two major national
anti-obesity campaigns supported by first lady Michelle Obama and former President Clinton treat
overweight Americans as "idiots" too dumb to figure out what's good for them, according to a new
academic study. Worse, said the study from a George Washington University professor, the
Obama-backed Partnership for a Healthier America and Clinton supported Alliance for a Healthier
Generation blame consumers and not the makers of unhealthy food for the obesity epidemic.
hints at move to Asheville after second term. President Barack Obama was born in Hawaii and is a
Chicago man through and through. But could he be a North Carolinian in a few years? During a
speech Wednesday afternoon [6/4/2014] at the Linamar Corp. plant in Asheville, he opened his speech by
praising the city and region and even hinted it could be his retirement destination.
We were dead broke. Hillary Clinton, who recently raked in $5 million dollars in speaking
fees in 15 months, recounted to Diane Sawyer the sad tale of her former destitution, telling her, "We came out
of the White House not only dead broke but in debt." According to Clinton, she and her husband,
who has made over $100 million since leaving the White House, "struggled to, you know, piece
together the resources for mortgages for houses, for Chelsea's education, you know, it was not easy."
was Hillary's Year of Great Fortune, not of being "dead broke". The problem is not
that the Clintons made a fortune. This is America, after all. People are entitled to make a fortune
so long as they do so lawfully, and we've not yet reached the point where the law dictates when
people have made enough. The problem is that Hillary is not being straight with the public. [...]
In mid-December 2000, a month before Bill left office, Hillary signed a book deal with a near
record $8 million advance.
What You Say, The New Liberal Power Elite Won't Tolerate Dissent.
[Scroll down] The very term Clerisy first appeared in 1830 in the work of Samuel Coleridge to
described the bearers society's highest ideals: the intellectuals, pastors, scientists charged with
transmitting their privileged knowledge them to the less enlightened orders. The rise of today's
Clerisy stems from the growing power and influence of its three main constituent parts: the
creative elite of media and entertainment, the academic community, and the high-level government
bureaucracy. The Clerisy operates on very different principles than its rival power brokers, the
oligarchs of finance, technology or energy. The power of the knowledge elite does not stem
primarily from money, but in persuading, instructing and regulating the rest of society.
Freeloader-in-Chief: 'I Don't Take Free
Food'. In this case he can start paying America back for living the lavish lifestyle on our dime. Really, who
does this clown think he's kidding?
The Editor says...
Mr. Obama does not pay for meals in the White House, aboard Air Force One, or presumably at the high-dollar fundraisers he so
frequently attends. His claim that he doesn't "take free food" is one of his most transparent lies to date.
a President Learns Everything on TV. The fact that the White House resorted to what has become
its standard second-term excuse for government scandal with a line about the president hearing about it
on TV or by reading the newspapers raises serious questions about both his leadership and the intelligence of
his staff. After all, surely it must have occurred to someone at the White House that using the same
excuse about hearing of it in the media wasn't likely to work after it had been employed with little success
to distance him from the IRS and other scandals. Such intellectual laziness speaks to a West Wing
that is both collapsing from intellectual fatigue as well as having acquired an almost complete contempt
for both the press and public opinion.
Dumb Does Obama Think We Are? For all of its 21st-century savvy in the field of
campaign technology, the Obama White House has repeatedly proven that its communications philosophy
is stuck in the 20th century. Before the Internet gave voters instantaneous access to information,
including every public utterance of the president and his team, White House strategists could hope
to wear out the truth: If you said a lie enough, people might believe it. It's harder to BS the
public these days. White House press secretary Jay Carney still tries.
Tilting at Climate
Windmills. I admit that I haven't waded through the entire 840-page report, but nothing I can
find in the material provided for mass consumption offers convincing links between the report's observations
(or its outlandish predictions) and the potentially underlying causes. It seems nothing more than mere
presumption that the cause of the observations and predictions is carbon and fossil fuel proliferation.
You're simply to assume that it's true because they say so. Think no more.
Lies. The scandal itself is not very difficult to understand, unless you have a personal commitment
to not understanding it. Such commitments frequently are rooted in partisanship and ideology, but in the
case of our supine media and Democrats occupying the commanding heights of culture, it may be simple shame.
They were intentionally misled by an administration that holds their intelligence in light esteem even as it
takes for granted their support.
'stupid party,' revisited. While it is true that we as Republicans need to do a
better job articulating our principles and being the party of bold new ideas, the Democrats have a
far worse problem. Democrats need to stop being the party that thinks Americans themselves are
stupid. [...] I believe the best way to help is to empower citizens, trusting them to make good
choices, not creating nanny states to "protect" individuals from themselves. As a matter of policy,
giving Americans choice in schools and health care is simply the right thing to do.
coming to vending machines, next to the chips and nuts. It's already disrupted the health-care marketplace.
Now, the Affordable Care Act is infiltrating vending machines. Yep, a provision in the Affordable Care Act requires vending
machines to display the calorie content of all food items. The FDA finalized the regulations April 3. If you
know the calorie content of an item, you might make a more healthy choice. Or so the thinking goes.
you're fat, stand-by for federal text messages to change your eating habits. The federal
Dietary Guidelines Advisory Committee — these are the folks who brought us the carb-heavy food
pyramid now deemed erroneous — is meeting these days to update nutritional guidelines to conform
with new scientific evidence and with the determination of First Lady Michelle Obama to change America's
eating habits. Among new ideas under consideration are federal phone texts to obese citizens warning
of their unhealthy eating behavior. Seriously.
I'm Fighting to
Restore a Free Society. The central belief and fatal conceit of the current administration is that
you are incapable of running your own life, but those in power are capable of running it for you. This is
the essence of big government and collectivism. More than 200 years ago, Thomas Jefferson warned that
this could happen.
to Grandparents: Read Government Bedtime Stories to Encourage Healthy Eating. The U.S.
Department of Agriculture (USDA) is giving advice to grandparents on how they can get their grandkids
to eat healthier, including instructions to give them "hugs" instead of treats, and read government
bedtime stories. "Take time to share and listen to your grandchild — the time you spend
together offers wonderful opportunities to understand one another," a USDA blog post entitled, "Grandparents

Harry Reid: People
Aren't Educated on How to Use the Internet. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D., Nev.) said the fault of
struggling to sign up on the Obamacare exchanges didn't lie with the faulty website, but with the people who
weren't "educated on how to use the Internet." Explaining the reasoning behind the latest Obamacare delay,
Reid said too many people just didn't know to use their computer properly and needed more time. Apparently, it
had nothing to do with the well-documented failings of the website that have embarrassed the White House for months.
White House Continues to Swindle Young People Through "Affordable" Care Act. During an appearance
on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon last month, First Lady Michelle Obama called young people "knuckleheads"
for refusing to sign up for Obamacare. As the data and numbers on Obamacare continue to be analyzed,
especially for young people, it appears the real knuckleheads are those who think millenials can actually afford
health insurance under the "Affordable" Care Act. Forbes Contributor Scott Gottlieb is out with a
piece today detailing the cost of Obamacare health plans for young people making between $25,000 and $45,000 per
year. The prices are astounding.
Reid: Obamacare Delayed Because 'People Are Not Educated About How to Use the Internet'. On Wednesday,
Obama administration officials announced a two week extension in the deadline to enroll in the Affordable Care Act
or face a penalty defined as a tax. Asked about this "delay" in the implementation of the ACA on Wednesday,
Sen. Harry Reid (D-NV) said that there has been no delay. He added that some of the users who experienced
problems with the website early on need more time, partially because "people are not educated about how to use

The "No Obamacare
Horror Stories" Fairy Tale. "There are plenty of [Obamacare] horror stories being told. All of
them are untrue," said Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid not long ago on the floor of the Senate. Four years
after the president signed the measure into law, there are, of course, many real stories of hardship under Obamacare.
An extensive list of which is included at the end of this article. But when Reid made those remarks, he wasn't
repeating words carelessly dashed off by some 20-something staffer. Rather, he was repeating a meme that has
become common among those who economist Thomas Sowell dubs "the Anointed,"" intellectuals whose belief in their own
superior knowledge and virtue leads to their misperception that they are an anointed elite more qualified to make
decisions for the rest of us in order to lead humanity to a better life.
Bankers, Common Core, and Destruction of the Middle Class. American Pageant, currently used in history
classrooms across America, reintroduces the word republicanism but the definition is that of Communism. The book
states, "republicanism defined a just society as one in which all citizens willingly subordinated their private, selfish
interests to the common good." Dewey's collective society has arrived. Parents are not the suckers that
educational experts describe. They consider Common Core Standards inferior and the resulting curricula inadequate
to prepare children to preserve the values and principles that have served America so well. Parents are battling
educational theorists who support increased federal control of education that will be accomplished with the implementation
of Common Core Standards.
$4.8M to Tell Students to 'Get Fruved'. If a college student dressed up as a giant bunch of grapes jumped

lady Michelle Obama thinks you're too dumb to read a nutrition label. First lady Michelle Obama unveiled a proposed new nutrition

White House pushes for
black enrollees. The Obama administration is engaged in a "final coordinated push" to enroll blacks in ObamaCare, White House senior adviser

administration's "top priority."
Michelle Obama: 'Young people are knuckleheads'.
On the "Tonight Show" with Jimmy Fallon, First Lady Michelle Obama explained that it was more important than ever for young
people older than 26 to sign up for health insurance. "A lot of young people think they're invincible, but the
truth is young people are knuckleheads," she laughed, pointing out that they often cut themselves while cooking or injure
themselves by dancing on bar stools.
FLOTUS Needs Help. Webster's Dictionary defines
the slang word "knucklehead" as a "bumbling, inept, stupid" person. So how stupid were Obama's young followers? Stupid enough to vote
in a president whose wife appears on national television implying that they are a bunch of drunken idiots falling off bar stools. Seems
Mrs. Obama got what she wanted in 2012, and now the empress can go all Alinsky on the poor suckers who made it happen. Like most
sociopathic bullies, Michelle not only tosses her prey aside after she finishes with them, but she laughs while they suffer.
The White House's 'Knuckleheads'. Michelle Obama had a laugh
or two last week on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" while talking about ObamaCare and the silly — and potentially dangerous —
things young folks do. She called them "knuckleheads." [...] [B]ut unfortunately for the first lady and her husband, these knuckleheads are smart
enough to know that ObamaCare isn't in their best interest. Yes, they may have occasional accidents, but their collective doctor bills don't come
to nearly as much as those of older folks. ObamaCare forces them to pay well more than their costs in order to subsidize the older group.
Without those subsidies, the system collapses.
Is Obama trying to kill a free press?
The FCC is launching a new study, taking upon itself the task of deciding what news the public "needs" to hear, versus the news the public wants
to hear. The agency will conduct a "General Population Survey" that will "measure community members' actual and perceived critical information
needs." Got that? What you think (perceive) you need to know is different from what the government says you need to know.
Next, the FCC will send monitors to newsrooms across the country who will ask questions regarding the "philosophy" of the newsroom, inquire about
possible conflicts between reporters and their bosses, and even determine how much influence each individual has in deciding what to report.

Mrs. Obama Takes a Jab at
Us "Wilderness" Folks. First Lady Michelle Obama took a jab at rural Americans during a speech she delivered to Democrats at the
posh Fairmont Hotel in San Francisco, according to a White House transcript of her remarks. [...] Mrs. Obama's insulting slap at us "country
folk" echos similar comments her husband made in 2008 — ironically in San Francisco. Then-Senator Obama was bemoaning the church-going,
working class voters of Pennsylvania.
House Insults Nation's Intelligence by Pretending Obamacare Enrollment Goal Never Existed. Appearing on MSNBC on Tuesday [12/31/2013],
White House health care adviser Phil Schiliro asserted that the White House never had a target number of Affordable Care Act enrollees. The
widely circulated figure of 7 million — a figure which has been cited and repeated regularly by the press and members of the
administration, was never their number, Schiliro asserted.
Joke's on us: WH now says
7M never 'target number' for Obamacare. Brushing aside Obamacare's ongoing problems, the president's top health official said
Tuesday [12/31/2013] that 2014 marks a "new day in health care for millions of Americans," with more than 2 million people having enrolled
as of Saturday and nearly 4 million learning in the first two months of the rollout that they're eligible for Medicaid or the Children's
Health Insurance Program. The White House also sought to rewrite longstanding goals for sign-ups on the health exchanges, disputing the
7 million enrollees target that's long-been accepted as the number of Americans needed by March 31 in order for the economics to work.
With Friends Like
Obama's Strike Team, Obamacare Doesn't Need Enemies. After a public relations blitz targeting America's youth, the results are in:
The kids aren't signing up. It's not just the bad deal on offer that's keeping them away. It's also the White House's tone of contempt.
Now Hear This: Big Brother Wants to
Talk to You. Right Now!. Apparently, the world has become so dangerous — and Americans, to put it bluntly, so stupid — that the
federal government has concluded that it is vital that the president or other "authenticated public safety officials" be able to tell you what
to do right now. Kind of like the loudspeakers the North Korean government has wired into every home. Only wireless, too.
Obama's accidental lesson for America. [Scroll
down] The Obama Democrats may have been puzzled as well when initial poll numbers showed majorities against ObamaCare. In a time of
economic distress, weren't Americans interested in getting free stuff? This assumption ignored the fact that most Americans were not
displeased with their current health insurance arrangements. And it overestimated the amount of sympathy that could be generated for
the relatively few who couldn't get insurance because of pre-existing conditions or unanticipated accidents.
Masking Totalitarianism. One of
the oldest notions in the history of mankind is that some people are to give orders and others are to obey. The powerful elite
believe that they have wisdom superior to the masses and that they've been ordained to forcibly impose that wisdom on the rest of us.
Their agenda calls for an attack on the free market and what it implies — voluntary exchange. Tyrants do not trust that
people acting voluntarily will do what the tyrant thinks they should do. Therefore, free markets are replaced with economic planning
and regulation that is nothing less than the forcible superseding of other people's plans by the powerful elite.
The Scheme behind the Obamacare
Fraud. To be sure, it is the fraud — the individual false statements, sneaky omissions, and deceptive
practices — that grabs our attention. [...] The incontrovertible record — disclosures by the Obama administration
in the Federal Register, representations by the Obama Justice Department in federal court — proves that Obama's promises were
systematically deceitful. The president's audacity is bracing, and not just because he lies so casually while looking us
in the eye. Obama also insults our intelligence.
3 Problems with Today's Obamacare Excuse.
[#1] People didn't know Obamacare was redistributive? Really? It raises half a trillion dollars in taxes, mostly from a
progressive tax system, and spends it to provide one of society's most expensive services to people who don't have it largely because they
can't pay for it — and it's not redistributive? Voters aren't that stupid. Whether Obama said his plan was progressive
or not, they knew it was.
If You Like Your Tyranny, You Can Keep
It. Just when you thought no one could top Hillary Clinton's agonized "What difference, at this point, does it
make?" — perhaps the most concise account of the leftist strategy of incremental subversion ever recorded — along
comes President Obama's revelatory time bomb, set ticking back in 2009 for detonation on October 1 of this year: "If you like
your plan, you can keep it." With her "What difference" outburst, Clinton told the world what the progressive elite think of their
subjects. They think you are stupid, morally shallow, and have the attention span of three year olds — exactly as
progressive schooling and entertainment are designed to make you.
Obamacare and Liberal Cruelty. [Scroll down]
Democrats are even willing to have government lie to us for our own good. Without the lies, they wouldn't have gotten Obamacare passed, and once
passed, they would have been voted out of office in 2012. They didn't want the voters to have the option to say no, because they know better what
people should want. They are the good people who care. Those who oppose them are the bad people, who should be vilified and driven from
the public arena.
Obamacare-Speak. The newly canceled
health plans are suddenly rebranded by the administration as "subpar." Only in autumn 2013 is the supposedly unaware public told that, years
ago, "bad apple" insurance companies sold them "substandard" plans. According to Obama, millions of Americans were once ignorant or uninformed,
and thus will soon be pleased about their cancellations: "So the majority of folks will end up being better off. Of course, because the
website's not working right, they don't necessarily know it."
Dem Congressional aides [complain]
about Obamacare. The German word schadenfreude is suddenly on the tip of the tongue of many conservatives, and for good reason. The
best part of it is that people who consider themselves smarter than the rest of us suddenly find themselves regretting their high-handedness in foisting
OCare on us. Democrat congressional chiefs of staff, the people who supposedly read the bill before their bosses voted on it are caught.
Presidential speeches are written and re-written by White House political and legal staff. Obama did not merely "misspeak" in an off
the cuff remark twenty-nine times. The Federal Register is the government journal that contains most routine publications and public
notices of government agencies. In 2010 a report in the Federal Register estimated that by 2013, 93 million people would lose their
insurance due to ACA regulations. The White House clearly knew that. Now Obama's political operatives still claim that he
merely "misspoke" twenty-nine times. Obama relies on his belief that we are all fools. He may be right.
Why Obama lied about health care.
"It is the business of the rulers of the city," Plato wrote in his "Republic," "to tell lies, deceiving both its enemies and its own citizens
for the benefit of the city..." In fact, the wise ruler — Plato's Philosopher King — must be prepared to "administer
a great many lies and falsehoods," Plato went on, for the benefit of the masses. The Philosopher King knows that they are too ignorant to
ever see the truth about their city's problems and how to fix them. [...] In their minds, deceiving the ignorant masses — that's
us — in order to advance the greater good is an essential part of the political game.
The Crisis Arrives. In March 2010, Barack Obama placed a
giant bet on the docility and stupidity of the American people, when he decided in the face of three huge electoral warnings to force his health plan
down the unwilling throats of the American people. And by November 2013, it was clear he had lost. It was not going to work. It would
never be popular. And it was falling apart on its own. The HealthCare.gov website unveiled on October 1 had immediate problems, which
were quickly revealed as the tip of the iceberg, as many worse things lay below.
Father Fed Knows Best. The government
thinks you're stupid, or at least ignorant. [...] In Massachusetts, all kids in daycare are required by law to brush their teeth after lunch.
In Texas — Texas! — if you don't have an interior-design license, you can't call yourself an interior designer, lest some
unsuspecting consumer trust your opinion on throw-pillow placement without the backing of the state. Almost everywhere, Americans need a license
to open a business — sometimes even a lemonade stand — but in Milwaukee, you even need a license to go out of business.
Obama: The Most Dangerous of Morons.
The big lie of the Obama presidency is "you can keep your insurance." Barry thinks Americans are just too stupid to realize he lied.
Why wouldn't he? He's been right before. He actually believed that Americans would be so enamored of his signature achievement that
they would forget about his promise. Only a moron would think most Americans would willingly pay more for less to ensure a minority of people
could pay less for more — and then afterward, forgive him for lying to them in order to pass the legislation. After all, it had his
name on it. He felt that should be enough.
Obama and Carney Talk Down to the Idiots.
[Scroll down] It's not just that the public and the press aren't buying his spin, it's that he seems to think we're too stupid to understand that his
noble motives and great intellect should allow him the sort of leeway that isn't granted to lesser mortals. What the president — and his
press secretary — is doing is not so much explaining the administration's policies as talking down to the rubes that they govern. In doing
so, Obama is playing not so much the democratic leader as the benevolent despot who knows what's best for the peasants.

How the Left Views Health Care.
The liberal view of health care is easy to describe: health care is too complex and complicated for individuals to make good choices on their own.
Therefore they need bureaucracies — employers, insurance companies or government — to make decisions for them.
Democratic Party Loves
Ill-Informed Voters. The ill-informed are more susceptible to emotional arguments. They are more likely to see life as a

Patient Privacy Goes Out the Window
and Into the ObamaCare Data Hub. The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act — "ObamaCare" as it will be forever known in the annals of

with only Democrat votes, should make such an egregious attempt to violate the privacy rights of medical patients. After all, wasn't it the Democratic Party
that held a national convention in 2012 celebrating abortion and claiming a woman's "choice" should be a private matter between her and her doctor?
Obama Claims Raising Debt Ceiling
Doesn't Boost Debt. In a speech to the Business Roundtable this week covered by CNSnews.com, Obama added this gem to the budget debate:
"Raising the debt ceiling, which has been done over a hundred times, does not increase our debt; it does not somehow promote profligacy." What?
This kind of gibberish is a big reason voters have so little faith in their public officials these days. Suffice it to say that if the debt ceiling has
been raised "over a hundred times" and each time the debt went higher, one would have to conclude there's a very high — indeed, perfect —
correlation between a higher debt ceiling and higher debt.
Obama: 'Raising the Debt
Ceiling ...Does Not Increase Our Debt,' Though It Has 'Over 100 Times'. Raising the debt ceiling doesn't increase the nation's debt, Pres. Obama
declared in a speech today [9/18/2013]. In a speech at the Business Roundtable headquarters in Washington, D.C., Obama dismissed concerns about raising
the debt ceiling by noting that it'd been done so many times in the past.
The Editor says...
This is the kind of double-talking flim-flam that one would expect to hear from a used car salesman out in the sticks — not from someone

Obama lying about the debt ceiling. In April, President Obama proclaimed it to be the month when we "teach young people how to budget
responsibly." Less than half a year later he's basically telling those same people that if they buy something they can't afford it isn't really
racking up more debt as long as the credit card company raises their limit by the time the transaction gets to the bank.
Obama's big debt limit deception. On Wednesday [9/18/2013], speaking
to the Business Roundtable, Obama said: "You have never seen in the history of the United States the debt ceiling or the threat of not raising the debt
being used to extort a president or a governing party and trying to force issues that have nothing to do with the budget and nothing to do with the debt."
This is just plain false, and he knows it. That he would say something so factually false in a prepared text is very worrisome.
Energy Production Up In Spite Of
Obama, Not Because Of Him. The president is taking credit once again for America's increased oil and gas production. Just how stupid does
he think even his low-information supporters are?
Michelle Obama turns
her 'Let's Move!' health drive to 'Let's Drink!' (water). Numerous companies like Brita, Dasani, Arrowhead, Deer Park, Ice Mountain,
Zephyrhills, Ozarka and Poland Spring are joining in with logos and promotions to help out the water-drinking campaign for some reason.
Trying to figure out what they have in common.
Michelle Obama's water torture.
Just when you thought the Nanny State couldn't get anymore drunk with patronizing power over people, along comes Michelle Obama with a most urgent
plea: Make sure you drink water! Who knew?! Apparently we now need the government to tell us to do the most basic of things. [...] It
would not surprise me to see the First Lady begin to offer advice on how to dress ourselves.
Is Michelle Obama over-hyping hydration?
While water is inarguably essential to our long-term health (people do tend to die after a few days without it), the first lady may be going too far
in touting the energy-giving properties of H20. "The idea [that] drinking water increases energy, the word I've used to describe it is:
quixotic," kidney specialist Dr Stanley Goldfarb of the University of Pennsylvania told Politico. Beyond hydration, he said, there's little
evidence that water does anything for us at all.

ObamaCare and the Food Police. The restaurant industry is
extremely competitive. If consumers demand menu labeling, restaurants will meet that demand. In fact, many restaurants already do provide nutritional
labeling. But private solutions aren't enough for menu labeling proponents. The Food and Drug Administration (FDA), which is implementing the menu
labeling requirement, tries to justify its rule by claiming that the public (poor fools) are misinformed and simply don't request "sufficient" information.
A few radical
ways to shut down Obamacare. It is no surprise to anyone that Obamacare is a total train wreck that will so devastate
America that we may never recover from the damage. Polls show that Americans didn't want it before the law passed and still
don't want it today. But like parents force-feeding medicine to a child "for his own good," President Obama and the left are
convinced that we, the great unwashed masses, are not smart enough to make our own decisions.

Surveillance Speech: A Low Point in Barack Obama's Presidency. On Friday [8/9/2013], President Obama spoke to us about surveillance

The Environmental Lobby's Great Forest Con.
Environmental activists constantly pressure government agencies to intervene in the lives of others, whether it is telling them how to run their businesses,

Obama Suggests Only Lawyers
Understand the Constitution. President Obama suggested in an interview with the New York Times that was published on
Saturday [7/27/2013] that you need to be a lawyer to understand the U.S. Constitution. The president made the suggestion when
talking about members of Congress who have argued he does not have the constitutional authority to unilaterally suspend enforcement
of parts of the Obamacare law.
Fractavists force PA landowners to abandon

Free Detroit City! As everyone who's ever been skating

pretty soon everybody falls into line. Based on no empirical evidence whatsoever, a "progressive" would have predicted random collisions,

Mindset of the Left: Part IV.
Nothing is easier for people with degrees to imagine that they know better than the poor and uneducated. But, as someone once

And Then a Miracle Happens.
Pay no attention to the absurdity of using Hollywood and sports celebrities, none of whom will ever be caught dead in an ObamaCare clinic,
to sell young, healthy people on the idea that it's cool to spend money (that they don't have because they can't find jobs in Obama's economy)
on inflated health insurance premiums to subsidize their older, sicker compatriots. Don't worry about the complex software, electronic

Success Depends On The Young Being Stupid. ObamaCare's efforts to expand insurance coverage and bring down costs depend entirely

Corker: Short border security amendment seems long because it has big letters. Sen. Bob Corker, R-Tenn., pushed back at the idea that he and
Sen. John Hoeven, R-N.D., authored a massive immigration proposal, saying that the amendment is only 119 pages long — and even that page
length is misleading, he said. "Triple-spaced, big letters," Corker said. "Got a lot of seniors in this body," he cracked. Corker said
that three or four legislative pages works out to about one conventional page of text.
"Crisis" Is No Crisis. With the immigration scam well underway in Washington, the only real takeaway for the outside

It's not a "crisis" when people who shouldn't be here anyway don't have all the privileges of people who do have a right to be here.
That's how it should be. There are a lot of people who shouldn't be here who are here, but this is a "problem," not

Who is on trial for
Benghazi? Obviously President Obama and Hillary Clinton are on trial — not before a court, but in the minds of thoughtful
people everywhere. It appears (given the limited evidence we have so far) that they were grossly negligent before Benghazi, criminally
incompetent that night of the attack, and then that they aided and abetted a conspiracy to lie about the murders — all for the obvious
political reasons and because Obama and Clinton (and nearly all their leftist friends) believe that Americans are stone-stupid.
Has the climate agenda
run out of steam? Whereas the original Constitution was supposed to protect us as individuals against an over-reaching government,
the reshaped progressive Constitution is supposed to empower government to reach into every aspect of our lives — religion, health care,

Busted Rhetoric "Explains" the Brothers Tsarnaev. As more information about the

Air Force One Becomes
Politicized Gun Control Tool. In a speech Monday [4/8/2013] at the University of Hartford, accompanied by some of the parents of the

Education Gone Berserk. During my 30 years
of teaching, I have experienced plenty of irrational teaching methods and behaviors coming from liberal teachers and

real or potential bad behaviors. Needless to say, lawyers were busy defending ridiculous claims and actions that a
person with common sense would have known to avoid or ignore. But liberals like to micromanage everything and everybody.

Those caught violating the proposed bill would receive a written warning for a first offense, followed by a $100 fine and a $250 fine
for a third.
Many Questions, No Answers.
Earlier this week the usually compliant press had the audacity to question Jay Carney about Obama's Chi-town mafia's selling quarterly
access to the highest official in the land for $500,000. Apparently expecting the question, Mr. Carney read a prepared response
to journalists in the Press Pool. He reread the same statement again in response to the follow up question from Jake Tapper, as
if Jake wasn't paying attention the first time or was too stupid to understand what he was parroting. As the gaggle of media
minions continued to yell follow-up questions, Jay, of course, slithered silently out of the room.
election flyer marked with NAACP seal featured Klan, lynching imagery. A presidential election flier disseminated in
North Carolina and marked with a seal for the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) featured Ku Klux
Klan and lynching imagery as part of its presentation urging voters to head to the polls. Another pro-Obama flier in North
Carolina informed African-American voters that Mitt Romney would relegate them to "picking cotton" if elected president.
The Gun Control Movement's
Dangerous Incompetence. Senator Dianne Feinstein and Governor Andrew Cuomo, like any medical quack who prescribes drugs for
real or imaginary illnesses, think they know how many bullets a person might reasonably need for self-defense against one or more violent
assailants. Feinstein thinks it's ten, and Cuomo seven. "Interview with a Gunfighter" by Front Sight describes, however, an
attack in which a senior citizen needed 11 rounds of .40 caliber to stop two armed home invaders.
All is forbidden.
Meat's bad. Fish, mercury. Coffee, unhealthy. Cheese, fattening. Spinach, unclean. Tuna needs p.r.
Canned soup, too much sodium. Pastrami, too many calories. Chicken, too little regulation. Eggs, eat only the white
part. Salad, wash thoroughly. Rice should be brown. Pasta should be wheat.
War on women:
lawmaker apologizes for suggesting women afraid of rape can't be trusted with guns. Democratic Colorado state Rep. Joe Salazar
apologized Monday [2/18/2013] for suggesting some women are so unjustifiably afraid of being raped that they are liable to start shooting
wildly. Salazar, arguing in favor of disarming college students, said Friday on the Colorado House floor that women fearing rape may
suddenly and haphazardly "pop a round at somebody." "It's why we have call boxes; it's why we have safe zones; it's why we have the
whistles — because you just don't know who you're gonna be shooting at. [...]"
The Socialist Mind Game: A Brief Manual.
If you're wondering what kind of ignorant, misinformed, and morally misguided fools would fall for this trick, look no further than Obama's most recent
56% job approval rating in the midst of a needlessly prolonged recession. The White House propagandist Stephanie Cutter knows her demographic and
constructs simple phrases she believes they can understand. However, one question remains: if the Obama voters are the best and the
brightest half of this nation, why does Ms. Cutter talk to them in the tone of a condescending kindergarten teacher?
Gun Control, Thought Control and People Control. The Nazis believed that they
were the master race because they were genetically superior. Liberals believe that they are the master race on account of their superior empathy and
Michelle Obama Worried Liberals
Too Stupid, Too Dependent To Vote? It's a hard life being a liberal. You apparently don't know how to do
anything. Worse, not knowing how to do anything prohibits you from voting for your fellow liberals. Don't take
my word for it. Just ask Michelle Obama.
President Obama's contempt for voters: Are you an idiot? President Obama
seems to think that's exactly what you are. It must be the reason he is conducting a campaign marked by a certain contempt for voters. He probably
thinks you're not smart enough to notice the sneer. But with Mitt Romney rising in the polls, Obama and his political advisers may be discovering that
Americans are not idiots.
Obama Trolling for the Knucklehead Vote.
[Scroll down] The internet has overtaken newspapers as a source of news; hence the Obama emphasis on reaching people via the internet,
where micro-focused messages can be tailor-made to appeal to an individual potential voter. The danger behind such narrowcasting is that
the information delivered can be akin more to propaganda than to facts. Obama supporters all too often would rather gaze, graze, or glance
than read, think, and ponder. How nice it is not to face reality. Ignorance is bliss. That should be the campaign slogan for the
Obama campaign, for it has been his modus operandi as president.
lies about unemployment statistics.
More unemployment statistics for dummies. Generally, we don't like it when our president
callously spouts bald-faced lies at us... but that's exactly what the current president does on a daily basis. [...] His biggest lie is about the
unemployment situation. [...] For example, the July numbers also included another 52,000 jobs added by this adjustment. If you're keeping
track, the official announcement of 163,000 jobs gained was actually 266,000 jobs lost. Under Obama there's been a massive increase in Social Security
disability rolls. Those people — 5.9 million since he became president — are automatically subtracted from the labor
force making the unemployment rate look better.
Question: Are We That Stupid? Recently I received an
email from a very worried senior citizen. She forwarded a poster to me and asked me, "Can this really be true?" The poster was of Obama saying, "Some
people say I'm Stupid. Really? Here's how stupid I am: "I was hired by over 69 million voters who didn't even do a routine background
check on me. I'm doing a lousy, stinking job, with a record number of people out of work. I gave guns to Mexican drug gangs, I kill innocent people
all over the world with drone strikes, and I decide which laws I'm going to enforce and which ones I won't. I've doubled the deficit. I've ruined our
health care system. And yet I still stand an excellent chance of being rehired. That's how stupid I am. Now, How Stupid Are You?"
Michelle Obama Presents
Course: 'Supermarket Shopping 101'. As part of her anti-obesity Let's Move campaign, First Lady Michelle Obama
is now presenting a brief online course: "Supermarket Shopping 101." The course, which now appears on the
letsmove.gov website, provides novice shoppers with tips such as "steer clear of the cookie, snack and soda aisle."
Apparently We're Too Stupid To Run Our Own
Lives. A young mother I know recently said, "When I saw the president on TV telling us how to wash our hands, I knew this country
was coming to an end. I'm 30 years old and I don't need the government to tell me how to wash up or what foods are good for me."
For that matter, I told her, how about those light bulbs we're supposed to buy — the ones that are more expensive; made in China and
require a hazmat team to clean up if they break?
Obama's guidelines for feeding your child. More than two years ago Mrs. Obama began her effort to drive Americans to eat
foods she thinks are better for them. In her thinking, the federal government is a force for good in broadly changing the eating
habits of less sophisticated Americans, much as her husband's ObamaCare health plan forces Americans to make healthier insurance choices.
You may recall Mrs. Obama's seminal, if tepidly-received speech to American restaurant operators, urging them to get rid of some of their
tasty, best-selling items in favor of healthier choices, even if they are less popular and less profitable.
Americans Too Stupid for Student Loans. Elizabeth Warren, who during the course of her Senate campaign has been
on some kind of a wildcat strike against producing a single original thought, was given the distinction of introducing former
president Bill Clinton at the DNC. And that seems to me appropriate: As I have long argued, Warren's particular
strain of paternalistic welfare statism is perfectly emblematic of what the Democratic party stands for today. The
problem with the lady from Cambridge is that Professor Warren thinks you're stupid: too stupid to handle a credit
card, too stupid to understand how a mortgage works (hint: You pay it all back, with interest) and prone to being,
in her own words tonight, "fooled by student loans."
Michelle Obama Shares Her Supermarket Savvy.
[A]lthough Mrs. Obama's attempts at helping people to eat better and to make healthier food choices seem benign on the surface, it's offensive and condescending for her to
imply — once again — that Americans need her to tell us how to go about feeding ourselves. Supermarket Shopping 101 is just another example, even
though no one asked her to, of Michelle Obama taking it upon herself to coach adults on the proper way she thinks we should live our lives.
The Real Culprits. Some conservative pundits
suggest that mainstream journalists are simply a bit on the lazy side. Indeed, sometimes they are lazy — very lazy.
For instance, their indolence was prominently on display when Juanita Broaddrick accused Bill Clinton of rape, but the media resolutely
refused to bestir itself. The journalistic community was positively comatose faced with Hillary Clinton's mysterious cattle futures
winnings. It declared that the deal was so diabolically clever that no human intelligence could be expected to make heads or tails of it,
and hence the public would be well-advised to give the first lady the benefit of the doubt and forget about the whole thing.
What Obama Thinks of Americans.
Was the animated version of Obama's story about his agenda "The Life of Julia" dumbed down enough for hapless Americans?
The Julia fiasco was mocked not just for its approach (the moral of the story is that all one has to look forward to is a life
of dependency), but also for apparently leaving some important facts on the cutting room floor, resulting in a collection of
"bogus" assumptions. Is this the type of story we are told to absorb?
B. H. Obama's Socialist & Bankrupt Circus:
It seems more obvious every day that America is now under the leadership of a far greater pitchman than even
P. T. Barnum could have ever imagined. President, or should I say, pitchman Obama's understanding
of humanity seems eerily similar with that of P. T. Barnum. For starters, Obama obviously
believes, as Barnum did, that "there's a sucker born every minute," and that selling his entire socialist
plan for America depends on it.
of Ten Political Insiders Believe Public Is Ill-Informed. When it comes to policy, the
political class doesn't have a lot of faith in the public's IQ. In the latest National
Journal Political Insiders Poll, a solid majority of political operatives — 59 percent — said
the public didn't "know enough about the issues facing Washington to form wise opinions about what should
be done." There was a sharp partisan difference between the two parties: By more than a 2-to-1
margin, Democratic Insiders believed the public didn't "know enough," while a slight majority of
Republicans thought they did.
America's Death by Professor.
This is an administration stuffed with academics. And not just any academic: These are educators from
elite universities, the kind of experts prized by a political and media elite seeking confirmation of a worldview
that expects, notes the Washington Examiner, "the rest of us ... to shut up and do as we are told."
We do get it, Mr.
President; we just don't like it. It's a modern marvel how the increasing opposition of the
American public to President Barack Obama's plans for us is explained away by administration officials and
certain Democratic legislators — such as California Sen. Dianne Feinstein — as a sign
that the people just don't get it. A panel of pundits chatting with Charlie Rose on his talking-head
fest the other evening came to the conclusion that Tea Partiers and their ilk are too stupid to know what's
good for them.
George Orwell, Call Your Office.
The Atlantic has an article this month with the title "Americans Want to Live in a Much More Equal Country (They Just Don't Realize
It)." I am always curious when intellectuals announce that the people (who in the American constitutional system serve as the
sovereign power) don't know what's good for them or don't even know what they want. Implicit in all of these revelations, of
course, is the firmest, if never directly expressed, belief of the Left: That the average person is too stupid to run his own
life, let alone make public policy decisions. Those few, those happy few, that band of liberal intellectuals, must do that for them.
Quest into the Magic World of Anti-American Mythology. Short of stating it explicitly, elitism
implies that "the masses" are mindless, spiritless creatures without free will, always in need of the largesse
of the state, and for their own good the state ought to nationalize the country's resources in order to feed
its subjects. There is a reason why snobby elites on the Upper East Side of Manhattan generously donate
to leftist causes and support leftist politicians.
financial regs — worse than we imagined. Hey kids! Let's create a brand,
spanking, new federal bureaucracy to protect consumers of mortgages, credit cards, and other financial
instruments from their own stupidity! That's just one of the nanny state goodie being proposed by the
Obama administration to address what they say were the causes of the financial meltdown. ... Surely some loans
were made by criminals. The laws are already in place to deal with them. But how can you
close a "gap" in the stupidity of the borrower? Never fear, the government is here!
warning photos faked. Tobacco peddlers will soon be forced to emblazon every package of their
product with graphic new warnings that show what the government says will happen to you if you smoke
cigarettes. ... There is only one problem with the federal government's great campaign of graphic images aimed
at combating the deceit of tobacco companies and rescuing us from our stupid selves. The images are
Still 'Played' and Controlled by Tired Old Democrat Paradigms. Many blacks erroneously believe
the GOP consists of rich racist white people. In reality, the GOP was founded to free blacks. Only
five years after slavery, there were black congressmen, all Republicans. The KKK, Jim Crow laws, segregation,
and denying blacks the right to vote where all birthed by Democrats. Even today, Democrats are still "keeping
blacks in their place" — telling them they need lowered standards, affirmative action, special programs,
and freebies to succeed. Democrats constantly send blacks the message they are not as smart was whites.
For example, Democrats say having to show ID when voting disenfranchises blacks. his is merely a tactic by
which the Democrats implement voter fraud. However, in the process, they are saying blacks are too stupid to
find their way to the DMV or other places to acquire proper ID. This is just one example of numerous ways
Democrats tell blacks they are inferior and need Democrats' help to succeed.
Democrats Should Know Jim Crow, They Created Him.
Is this what Democratic elites think of their constituents? Do Democrats believe blacks and Latinos, old people and youngsters,
are too stupid to acquire a photo I.D. by next November?
Department to blacks: We know better. Black voters across the land should be offended by the
Obama Justice Department. In a decision last month, the department effectively told black voters in the town
of Kinston, N.C., that they are too stupid to choose their own elected officials unless the candidates are identified
by party label. In doing so, the department overruled Kinston's black voters themselves, who helped vote
overwhelmingly to join most other North Carolina towns in holding nonpartisan local elections.
sleaziest ballot measure in America. Are voters stupid? The Los Angeles Chamber of Commerce
and the city's League of Women Voters apparently think so. Both groups are pushing Proposition R
on L.A.'s ballot next Tuesday. Prop R is the ultimate test of whether the slick power elite in the
City of Angels can fool the people into voting to weaken the city's eight-year term limits law by not telling
voters what the measure actually does … by pretending that it "establishes" term
limits already established.
mirage: After the 2004 election liberals bombarded us with endless screeds sneering at how
stupid, gullible and reality-challenged Red-staters were to have voted for President Bush. But in
ploy after partisan ploy ever since, the Democratic leadership has made it painfully obvious they regard
their own constituencies with similar contempt.
Why Are Voters Only 'Angry' When They're Tossing
Dems Out? Interesting, isn't it, that if you listen to liberal journalists, the voters are
always angry and stupid when they're tossing Democrats out. But they're high-minded and caring when
they're giving Republicans the heave-ho.
They Think You're
Stupid. Those are not my words but the title of Herman Cain's book released in 2005.
He is now a candidate for president and according to the mainstream media his chances are slim and next
to none. Of course, the MSM is ignoring his campaign because Cain is not the kind of black man they
want to promote. Barack Obama has become their chosen one even though he has absolutely nothing in common
with the average black in America.
NBC-ya Later. It has now been
revealed that NBC's decision to leave out the words "under God" and "indivisible" from the Pledge of Allegiance
in Sunday's U.S. Open golf broadcast was no accident. ... It takes a concerted effort to open up an audio file,
cue up to the "offensive" language and snip it out. But it also takes a stratospheric level of obliviousness
to one's own arrogance to do so without contemplating the kind of blowback that is occurring. Part of that
arrogance was likely animated by the thought that most Americans would be too stupid to notice.
Walters vs. Sarah Palin: When ABC's Barbara Walters deems Sarah Palin one of the year's "Most
Fascinating People," it's a backhanded compliment. Walters knows Palin has an adoring fan base, and
she's definitely not part of it. When the Dec. 2 special began, Walters greeted Palin with "Many
people find the thought of you as president a little scary." This is not what Walters asked President
Obama in yet another gooey Barack-and-Michelle hour-long ABC interview on Thanksgiving night. ... Liberals
like Walters always assume that if you're liberal, you're smart; if you're conservative, you're either evil
or stupid. Or both.
Round-Up: The facts about your security are being torn to shreds by activist liars. And they
think that you're too stupid to know the difference. Let's lay out the worst current examples of media
make-believe and election-year truth-trashing.
Why Obama Sticks in my Craw. "Special Pictures" was
the reason given back in 2009 when Air Force One buzzed New York City on a Sunday morning. New Yorkers were alarmed. It seemed an indelicate
aeronautic act to pull on the city still smarting from the effects of previous low-flying large jets. Not to worry... and please disregard.
We were told that these pictures were for a special documentary or something, therefore the flight was necessary. Forget that any off-the-shelf
photo-editing program could put Air Force One into a New York City skyline without the fuel, escort, or citizen alarm. I must have missed the
documentary or any other use of Air Force One pictures with New York City as a background. Certainly it was not as some suggest. There is
no way a power-hungry narcissist would be so egocentric as to order Air Force One into the air for a joyride with the family. Nor could we imagine
a first lady so power-crazy, or even a Napoleonic chief of staff.
Barack H. Obama is counting on you to forget about
the New York City Flyover.
