President Obama certainly shows a lot of favor toward Islam.  After looking at empirical and anecdotal evidence — Barack Obama's actions and words, and the claims of his siblings — I am convinced that Mr. Obama is a Muslim.  Most of the articles I've seen that would support such a conclusion are posted here.  If he is a Muslim he is also a liar, but that should come as no surprise after reading the material on this page.

Certainly President Obama is no friend of Israel and he is systematically weakening America's defenses — exactly what a Muslim would do.



Friend of the Brotherhood?  [Scroll down]  More Americans are taking note of the accumulating series of statements and actions by the president that display favoritism, or worse, toward Muslims.  That would be troubling enough; after all, no chief executive is supposed to support one subset of us over others.  Growing numbers of our countrymen may be on to something else about the Obama presidency, however, that is even more alarming:  In instance after instance, Mr. Obama seemingly has bent over backward to accommodate not just Muslim-Americans, but a deeply problematic organization — the Muslim Brotherhood (or Ikhwan) — that purports to represent their interests here.

Obama Wouldn't Have Muslim Image Problem If He Had Joined A Church.  A truly astonishing thing happened on MSNBC Monday:  three devout, liberal Obama supporters said the President is responsible for people thinking he's a Muslim.

O's terror outrage.  Americans are learning there's one minority group President Obama is never afraid to offend:  families of victims of Islamist terror. ... Now, last Friday [8/27/2010], we learned that "no charges are either pending or contemplated" against one of the deadliest and most dangerous al Qaeda operatives, Abd al Rahim al Nashiri, mastermind of the October 12, 2000, bombing of USS Cole that killed 17 sailors and officers and wounded dozens more.

Why Does Obama Tell Muslims America Is Nation of 'Non-Believers'?  Why has President Barack Obama on at least two occasions told specifically Muslim audiences that America is a nation of — among other things — "non-believers"?

Obama Sends $6 Million to Global Muslim Sites.  President Barack Obama's faith may not be clearly identifiable, but he's willing to usurp the U.S. Constitutional principle of a strict separation of church and state when it comes to using American taxpayer dollars to restore Muslim holy places.

Muslims Give Obama Highest Job Approval; Mormons, Lowest.  Muslim Americans continue to give President Barack Obama the highest job approval rating of any major religious group in the U.S., while Mormons give the president the lowest ratings.

Gallup:  Muslims rate Obama highest.  Muslims continue to rate President Obama higher than other major religious groups in the United States, a new Gallup poll shows.  From January to July, Muslims gave Obama a 78 percent approval rating.  While that's down from 83 percent in the previous six months and 86 percent from a year before, it's still several points higher than how other religious groups have scored him.

Obama's choice:  Boy Scouts or Islam.  President Obama couldn't bring himself to observe the National Day of Prayer or spend time with the Boy Scouts of America, but God forbid, he couldn't miss the Muslim Iftar Ramadan dinner, or pass up a chance to praise an Islamic center a stone's throw away from Ground Zero.  He later backed down — a bit.  One has to wonder exactly who is this Barack Obama?

President Obama:  Muslim Missionary?  President Obama is not just rebooting America's image in the Muslim world.  He's deepening and expanding Islamic belief, practice and culture around the world, like a Muslim missionary.

Islam's Achievement Gap.  As the holy month of Ramadan has gotten underway, President Obama has intensified his longstanding mission to "remind us" of the progress and human advancement we all enjoy as a result of Islam and its practitioners. ... [But] how many Muslims have been Nobel Prize winners for science?  Just two:  Ahmed Zewail in 1999 for chemistry and Abdus Salam in 1979 for physics.  For those keeping score, ... that's two prize winners in more than a billion Muslims.

Barack Obama:  Christian In Name Only (CINO)?  Consider Obama's actions since 1/20/09:
 •  Immediately called for shut down of GITMO.
 •  Called for terrorists to be tried by civilian juries, rather than military, including Miranda rights and other rights conferred on citizens.
 •  Once in office, rushed off to a Muslim nation to deliver a speech in which he declared that America is "not" a Christian nation.
 •  Changed policy toward Israel such that that nation is treated like a gang of terrorists.
 •  Supports, or at least does not oppose, the mosque at Ground Zero.

Barack Obama issues special Ramadan message.  "On behalf of the American people, Michelle and I want to extend our best wishes to Muslims in America and around the world.  Ramadan Kareem."

Barack Obama, Apologist-in-Chief.  President Obama's speech on the occasion of the Ramadan dinner in the White House presents difficulties that are becoming his trademark.  Why does he find it necessary to be an apologist for Islam?  He started it in his speech in Cairo a couple of years back, which also had elements that were downright creepy.  Now he justifies the building of a mosque at Ground Zero because Muslims have the same right to practice their religion as anyone else.  This is obviously true, but a mosque in this site of mass murder committed by Muslims is not about freedom of worship, it is a statement of supremacy and conquest.

The No-Go Mojo Man.  Nowhere is Obama's lack of metaphoric testosterone clearer than in his tack with the Ground Zero mosque issue.  Obama said that the mosque should be built because this is a simple "freedom of religion" issue, which of course is false — the mosque can be built anywhere, just not on the secular holy site that is Ground Zero. ... The real issue here is the one Obama did not address:  the responsibility of Islamism for the 9/11 attacks, and the association between the Muslims backing the Ground Zero mosque and Islamist ideology.

Imam Thanks Obama.  Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf used his taxpayer-funded Mideast tour yesterday to praise President Obama's qualified support for the mosque near Ground Zero.  "I am grateful to President Barack Obama and all those who expressed support for our project," Abdul Rauf said at a dinner for student leaders in the Gulf state of Bahrain, the Gulf Daily News in Bahrain reported.

Two days later...
 Obama's "forceful" support of Ground Zero Mosque already changing.  Doesn't the look on Obama's face in today's Drudge Report cover story, detailing that Obama is "forcefully" approving the Ground Zero Mosque, say it all?  In the caption of the Drudge photo, Obama in effect, wishes us all "As-Salumu Alaykum" from the White House.  At least he's not shouting "Alu Akbar!"  Yet.

Standing on a landmine.  Obama's stance on the Ground Zero mosque should signal to Israel that the president is so wed to his ideology that he will push it regardless of political conditions.  US President Barack Obama's warm endorsement of the plan to build a mosque by the ruins of the World Trade Center tells Israel — and its enemies — everything we need to know about the president of the United States of America.

Unshakeable Bam's latest shaky stand.  Thanks for nothing, Mr. President.  Now we know how Arizona feels.  First Obama stood with the president of Mexico as he bashed Americans as bigots for exercising their right of democracy on illegal immigration.  Now he stands with the developers of a mega-mosque near Ground Zero that, outside of Mayor Bloomberg, few New Yorkers want.

Obama's Muslim envoy coming to Dearborn.  President Barack Obama's adviser to the Muslim world is coming to the Arab American National Museum in Dearborn on Sunday [8/15/2010] to discuss U.S. foreign policy at a Ramadan dinner hosted by U.S. Rep. John Conyers.  Rashad Hussain, 31, is the special envoy of the U.S. to the Organization of the Islamic Conference, a group of about 57 Muslim countries that acts as an international public voice.

Obama Okays Victory Mosque.  Americans are aghast that the president approves of the construction of a Victory Mosque by a pro-terrorism imam six hundred feet from Ground Zero.  Revolting, yes.  Shocking, no.  One thing we know about Barack Obama is that he is committed to ruling in direct opposition to three-fourths of the American people on all core issues.

Obama's Islamic America.  President Obama says Islam has always been part of America, which raises the question, does the president know something about American history that we don't?  It has become customary for presidents to offer greetings to various religious communities on the occasion of their most holy days. ... But Mr. Obama has used the occasion of Ramadan to rewrite U.S. history and give Islam a prominence in American annals that it has not earned.

Is Obama Winning the Hearts and Minds of the Arab and Muslim World?  Obama's first presidential meeting with a foreign leader was not with that of Great Britain — one of our two closest allies, whose prime minister stood down opposition within his own party to join the effort in Iraq.  Obama met with Palestinian National Authority President Mahmoud Abbas, the leader of the Fatah party, to stress the importance of restarting the Israeli-Palestinian "peace process" — which Obama considered essential to moderate Arab and Muslim views.

Obama's Muslim Daddies.  The Israeli intelligence website DebkaFile has reported that Obama is now seriously considering an attack on the Iranian nuclear facilities.  His change of heart is not, according to Debka, prompted by the Israeli Netanyahu — whose nation is most directly threatened by Iranian nukes — but by an ultimatum from King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia, who told Obama that his nation could not tolerate Iranian WMD, and would develop its own if Iran was allowed to acquire them.  In other words, Netanyahu's threat of a Middle Eastern conflict that could devastate Israel and escalate to all-out nuclear war carried less weight with Obama than the far less severe consequences threatened by the Saudis.

Obama religion adviser linked to unindicted co-conspirator.  A religion adviser to President Obama has close ties to a radical Muslim group that was an unindicted co-conspirator in a scheme to raise money for Hamas.  The group, the Islamic Society of North America, or ISNA, has an extensive relationship with the Obama administration.

Obama's homosexual-Muslim conflict.  "Human rights are gay rights," Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton said recently, "and gay rights are human rights, once and for all."  That's a touchy-feely liberal talking point, but don't tell it to the Muslims.  Eventually, the Obama administration might have to decide to which radical group it's most important to pander:  homosexuals or Muslims.  There is some friction between these two Obama constituencies.

Acting U.S. Solicitor General Represented Osama Bin Laden's Driver.  Neal Katyal, who became the acting U.S. solicitor general when Elena Kagan was nominated to serve on the U.S. Supreme Court, previously served as the legal counsel of record for the man who worked as Osama bin Laden's driver from February 1996 through November 2001.  Salim Ahmed Hamdan, who underwent training at an al Qaeda camp, was charged with transporting weapons to al Qaeda operatives.

In Search of Islam's Contributions.  Obama refuses to acknowledge that radical Islamists are prompted to violence and terrorism by their understanding of their faith.  And he fails to recognize that his blame-America-first foreign policy won't appease an enemy committed to violent jihad and the installation of a global caliphate.  Almost as bad, Obama has been going out of his way to highlight Islam's supposed contributions — to science and technology, to America, to the world.  The main effect of Obama's Muslim ego-stroking is to call attention to just how little Muslims have actually contributed in the modern age.

Tea With Terrorists?  According to the New York Times, prominent K Street lobbyists are buttonholing Obama officials at a Caribou Coffee shop on Pennsylvania Avenue, raising far more than just ethics questions.  What the Times story neglects to mention is that Caribou Coffee is a Shariah-compliant firm owned by an Islamic bank based in Bahrain.  One of its founders and a current adviser are leaders in the radical Muslim Brotherhood.

Alinsky, Stalinsky, It's Still the Same Old Agitprop.  [Scroll down]  We have a big jihad sympathizer in the White House, just like Obama and his buds from Chicago, just like Jeremiah Wright and Louis Farrakhan, just like Obama's hero Malcolm X, and just like Jodie Evans and Bill Ayers whipping up crowds for Hamas.  These people are predictably on the side of medieval reactionaries who practice barbarities against women, gays, Jews, Christians, and especially any creed that advocates tolerance and open-mindedness.

NASA's Muslim outreach:  Al Jazeera was told first.  Lawmakers across Capitol Hill, both Democrats and Republicans, were surprised to learn recently that the Obama administration has made reaching out to Muslim nations a top priority for the space agency NASA.  They will probably be more surprised to learn that administration officials told the Middle East news organization Al Jazeera about it before they told Congress.

Who needs space travel when we can spend money on Muslim appeasement instead?
 Obama tasks NASA with building Muslim self-esteem.  In the video below, Charles Bolden, head of NASA, tells Al Jazeera that the "foremost" task President Obama has given him is "to find a way to reach out to the Muslim world and engage much more with predominantly Muslim nations to help them feel good about their historic contribution to science, math, and engineering."  Thus, NASA's primary mission is no longer to enhance American science and engineering or to explore space, but to boost the self-esteem of "predominantly Muslim nations."

Obama Making Carter Years look Like Paradise.  The United States government and some in media seem obsessed with appeasing anybody and anything Islamic.  Only the latest example is the decree from NASA that its "foremost" mission is to recognize and appreciate the contributions of Muslims to science.

The Right Stuff Goes Wrong.  Obama is boldly going where no president has gone before.  It is a continuation of the president's subjugation of himself (bowing to foreign leaders) and the country he is charged with leading by obsequiously kowtowing to a people for whom advancement to the Middle Ages would be a step up.  The president and Bolden think it will improve relations with the Muslim world if we praise them for their work in math and science many centuries ago, but what has the Muslim world done for humanity lately?

Muslim pandering 'not good for the country'.  A conservative media watchdog thinks the mainstream media has virtually ignored the NASA administrator's recent outlandish statement that the "foremost" mission of the space agency is to improve relations with the Muslim world.  NASA Administrator Charles Bolden made that announcement on the English language version of Al Jazeera, which Jeff Poor of the Media Research Center's Business and Media Institute believes was a questionable move in and of itself.

Farewell to Space.  Just when you thought Barack Obama's toadying to Islam could not get any worse, now comes this:  The President directed the new administrator of NASA, retired Marine Major General Charles Bolden, as "perhaps [his] foremost" charge to "find a way to reach out to the Muslim world and engage more dominantly Muslim nations to help them feel good about their historic contribution to science... and math and engineering."

NASA's Mission to the Muslims.  NASA was the direct result of the Cold War scare when the Russians put Sputnik into orbit over the Earth in October 1957, thereby demonstrating they had missiles powerful enough to launch a nuclear attack on the nation.  It galvanized the U.S. government into passing the National Defense Education Act in order to get more young Americans to go into the fields of science and math, and it prompted the creation of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration for the purpose of demonstrating American scientists and engineers could create bigger and better missiles.  Muslims had nothing to do with it then and nothing to do with it now. ... Perverting and defunding NASA's mission is evidence of Obama's commitment to Islam.

Obama's "Fly Me to the Crescent Moon" Policy.  [Scroll down]  We can find something else interesting in this loony story:  Where are the atheizers and arch-separationists on this one?  Do they support "separation of church and state" but go suddenly silent when the issue is "separation of mosque and state"?

The White House backpedals at full speed:
 Muslim Outreach Not the Job of NASA, White House Says.  White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs said Monday [7/12/2010] that NASA Administrator Charles Bolden must have misspoken when he told Al Jazeera last month that one of his top priorities is to reach out to Muslim countries.  "That was not his task and that's not the task of NASA," Gibbs said.  Bolden, though, said last month in the interview that it was President Obama who gave him that task.  He made a similar claim in February.

White House denies NASA remark on Muslim outreach.  The White House is contradicting the NASA administrator's claim that President Barack Obama assigned him to reach out to Muslims on science matters.

Obama's Proud Muslim Moment.  The last thing America needs is a president that the Muslim world "approves."  Likability and niceness are overrated; a healthy fear and respect are much to be preferred.

Necessarily Jewish Distinctions and Our "Relativist-in-Chief".  Mr. Obama's maddeningly obtuse approach to Israel doesn't so much reflect anti-Semitism or even anti-Zionism as it expresses his willful blindness to the overriding moral dimension to the conflict in the Middle East.  In this, he presents a glaring and painful contrast with his predecessor.  George W. Bush made his share of errors in foreign affairs, but he never lost sight of the irreducible difference between nation states seeking a peaceful, stable, democratic world and those he unabashedly called "the evil-doers" — gangster regimes and terrorist bands bent on domination and destruction.

Why Is the State Department Covering for a Known Terror Group?.  Are U.S. security agencies hampered by President Obama's mission to reach out to Muslims?  Criticizing Israel for stopping a Gaza-bound flotilla sponsored by the IHH and the Turkish government is easy.  But when terrorists affiliated with the IHH try to get into the United States, who will stop them if no one is looking at the organization to which they belong?

Muslim praise for Obama dries up a year after Cairo speech.  A year ago Friday, President Barack Obama stood in Cairo and vowed "a new beginning" in a speech about how he'd change U.S. relations with the Muslim world. Egyptian vendors sold T-shirts portraying Obama in King Tut regalia, and Muslims throughout the region thrilled at his middle name:  Hussein.

Cairo: One Year Later.  One year ago this month, President Obama addressed the "Muslim world" from Cairo, Egypt.  Some saw that speech as unnecessary groveling.  Critics — and I am among them — think such displays communicate weakness and only encourage those who wish to damage our economy and kill our people.

Who Gets the Benefit of the Doubt?  Despite the willful denials of the Obama administration and progressives in general, most Americans understand we are at war with Islamic fascists determined to establish a worldwide, totalitarian, religious empire.  Yet even most conservatives insist that such people are only a miniscule segment of the Muslim community.  What if they're not?  And if, as stated above, we are at war, why we are so hell-bent on giving so-called "moderate" Muslims the benefit of the doubt?

Obama Has a "Boot on the Throat" Of the Global Economy.  It was about a year ago that Mr. Obama delivered his famous address in Cairo, wherein he stipulated that American values and Muslim values are not in conflict with one another, but rather, are complimentary.  Since then, the U.S. has sustained three terrorist incidents on domestic soil (the mass murders at Fort Hood Army base last November, the Christmas Day in-flight "underwear bomber" case over the skies of Detroit, and the plot to blow up Times Square a few weeks ago), all of which entailed adherents of one form or another of "radical Islam."

The Elephant in the Room:  Islamism and appeasement.  In a speech in Cairo about a year ago, President Obama sought a "new beginning" for the United States and the world's Muslims.  In pursuit of this initiative, Obama gave his first interview as president to Al-Arabiya television, apologized for America's past behavior, bowed before Saudi royalty, sided with the Palestinians against our ally Israel, did next to nothing to forestall Iran's development of nuclear arms, and released a National Defense Strategy last week that ignores the connection between Islamism and terrorism.

Obama's Post-American World.  A nuclear-ready Iran is preparing for world war.  Here, there, everywhere.  And we have ... impotent Obama.  When the U.N. elected the oppressive Islamic regime of Iran to its Commission on Women's Rights, the U.S. did nothing and said nothing — and our silence was affirmation.  Ignoring Iran's legal mistreatment of women and terrible human rights record is now concurrent with U.S. policy?  This is no accident.  Last year, Obama had the U.S. co-sponsor with Egypt a U.N. resolution calling upon member states to criminalize "incitement to religious hatred," which is UN-speak for restricting free speech about Islamic terrorism.  So the U.S. went on record favoring measures that would violate the 1st Amendment.

Islam and the Politically Correct White House.  Most Americans are sympathetic to public references to Islam and to Muslims that do not offend patriotic American Muslims or affix to the Islamic religion the rantings of al-Qaeda.  But sensitivity to the need to be civil to Muslims doesn't — or shouldn't — obviate the need for intellectual honesty when discussing or analyzing America's Islamist political foes.

Barack Obama declares the 'War on Terror' is over.  The US president has instead replaced it with a softer approach stressing "new partnerships" and multilateral diplomacy.  "Our long-term security will not come from our ability to instill fear in other peoples but through our capacity to speak to their hopes," Mr Obama said in a message introducing a new national security strategy.

Brennan's Surrender.  We've seen the enemy and it's not just the jihadists.  It's also our own government, which refuses to see this very real enemy.  How can we fight and defeat what we refuse to see?

Obama Makes Little Headway Among Arabic-Speaking Muslims.  Barack Obama entered office with high hopes of improving the U.S. image among Muslims worldwide.  He hauled out his middle name, gave his first interview as president to Al-Arabiya television, quoted hadith, gave major speeches in Istanbul and Cairo, and talked ceaselessly of "respect" for Muslims.  Where has all this gotten him?

Obama speaks softly and carries no stick at all.  We are at war with radical Islam, and that war will go on for many years.  For me, the question is this:  Will the secular Western civilization shared by America and Europe, which allows us to enjoy life and its creature comforts, still be standing at the end of that war?  Or will radical Islam, with an aggressive culture that treasures martyrdom and death over life, prevail?

Obama Stands with Muslims as He Promised.  Though the president is taking great public pains to appear tough on terror and the real terrorists — as opposed to the imaginary ones (i.e., conservatives and Tea Partiers) — Barack Obama has actually gone to great lengths to make sure others like Shahzad remain utterly undisturbed.  Others who at this very minute remain undetected among us, ready to strike on orders from radicalized Imams or terror-army chiefs, walk among us, now knowing that they have a true friend and protector in the White House.  Barack Obama has successfully purged from the national discourse on terrorism — excuse me, "man-made disasters" — any mention of the religion/political ideology which is the undeniable common denominator.

War of Wordcraft.  The newest tactical weapon of this administration against our terrorist enemies appears to be one constructed of language.  Its deployment began when the term "War on Terror" was replaced by "Overseas Contingency Operations," and terrorist attacks were renamed "man-caused disasters."  More recently, as witnessed in the exchange with Attorney General Eric Holder and Rep. Lamar Smith, it consists of a complete absence or rejection of particular words to describe the threat if such descriptions include the term "Islam," even when combined with the modifying adjectives "radical" or "extremist."

Praying for a Moderate Terrorist.  The Obama Administration may have abandoned the space program and the search for life on other planets, but it is determinedly searching for moderate Islamic terrorists all across this planet.  So far it has tried to identify "Moderate Taliban" (these would be Taliban who only chop off your feet, not your head) and "Moderate Hizbullah" (who only support bombing Ashkelon but not Haifa).  It has yet to get around to trying to locate any "Moderate Al Queda", but we have to assume that's next on their shopping list.

Barack Obama Chamberlain.  In Barack Obama, we are witnessing the second coming, not of Christ, but of Neville Chamberlain himself, the embodiment of appeasement. ... We have now witnessed a supposed "re-booting of America's image" in the Muslim world as inaugurated by President Obama's much ballyhooed Cairo speech.  He and the First Lady have treated us to Muslim celebrations and declarations in the White House for Ramadan.  The president has hosted an "Entrepreneur Summit" for Muslim leaders.  He has issued paeans on the inspiring splendors of Islam, "one of the world's great religions."

Obama the appeaser.  Iran is on the march.  Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has once again defied the West — and President Obama — in his quest to acquire nuclear weapons.  The Persian fascist strongman is now months away from arming his Shi'ite revolutionary regime with the means to destroy Israel and blackmail the West.

White House official calls terrorist group "a very interesting organization".  The downward spiral toward coffee and pastries between the White House and one of the world's bloodiest, most-notorious terrorist organizations continues.  And based on a Tuesday [5/18/2010] report in Reuters, this spiral may be tightening into an irrecoverable flat spin.

The Great Hezbollah Snipe Hunt.  John Brennan, deputy national security adviser for homeland security, has come up with a new way to waste the foreign-policy establishment's time — locate the so-called "moderate elements" within Hezbollah and somehow promote them.

Obama's psychosis.  The heart of the Obama doctrine is the illusion that there is no war on terror.  According to Mr. Obama and the liberal elite, Islamic fascism is a figment of George W. Bush's fevered imagination — a wild scheme concocted by militaristic neoconservatives to justify invading Iraq and imposing an American empire in the Middle East. ... In short, the president is conveying that America no longer views radical Islam as the enemy.  Mr. Obama desperately wants everyone to get along.  The Islamists, however, don't.

What Daniel Pearl's decapitation means to Barack Obama.  Even given Obama's ever more terrifying and lethal performance in office, his comments about the jihadi murder of Daniel Pearl, and in front of Daniel's bereaved family, are simply astounding.  This is what Obama said:  "Obviously, the loss of Daniel Pearl was one of those moments that captured the world's imagination because it reminded us of how valuable a free press is."

Establishment Press Largely Covers Obama's Tracks on Disgraceful Daniel Pearl Remark.  President Barack Obama's statement just before he signed the Freedom of the Press Act on Monday painfully avoided reality to the point of giving offense.  If it became widely known, it would likely become very problematic.

Obama on beheading: 'It captured the world's imagination'.  Speaking before Pearl's family, including the son who hadn't been born when jihadists killed his dad, the President uttered these words:  "Obviously, the loss of Daniel Pearl was one of those moments that captured the world's imagination, because it reminded us of how valuable a free press is."  Garbage.  Pearl was beheaded, yet the President uses "loss" to characterize the result?  Pearl wasn't lost.  You lose sailors at sea.  A thug taking a scimitar, drawing it across the trachea, and with a sawing motion, severing Daniel's head, is hardly a "moment" to capture the imagination.

Obama Won't Say Who Killed Daniel Pearl.  At a signing ceremony for the Freedom of Press Act, it is ironic and shameful that Obama could not bring himself to identify the killers who beheaded the man who fearlessly reported on the jihadist terrorists.

Obama Ignores Islamic Violations of Religious Freedom.  Has the latest annual report from the United States Commission on International Religious Freedom (USCIRF) caused any cognitive dissonance in Washington? ... Islam is supposed to be a religion of peace and tolerance.  Isn't that what Barack Obama has been telling us (and George Bush before him)?  The report was a bracing dose of reality to dispel this rosy view — and yet another reminder of how Obama's view of Islam and Muslim countries is unrealistic and damaging, and of what it might take to end the jihad against America and the West.

Obama Appeases U.S. Muslims.  The New York Times reported Monday [4/19/2010], with no hint that it understood the implications of what it was reporting, that Barack Obama is reaching out to Hamas-linked groups in the United States, while hamstringing our response to the terror threat by making obfuscation of the ideology of jihad terrorists official U.S. policy.

Why Pakistan Produces Jihadists.  Monday night's arrest of Faisal Shahzad, a 30-year-old Pakistani-American accused of planting a car bomb in Times Square on Saturday, will undoubtedly stoke the usual debate about how best to keep America safe in the age of Islamic terrorism.  But this should not deflect us from another, equally pressing, question.  Why do Pakistan and the Pakistani diaspora churn out such a high proportion of the world's terrorists?

That brings another subject to mind...
 Obama's College Trip to Pakistan.  [Scroll down]  "I traveled to Pakistan when I was in college — I knew what Sunni and Shia was [sic] before I joined the Senate Foreign Relations Committee."  This last part — a college trip to Pakistan — was news to many of us who have been following the [2008] race closely.  And it was odd that we hadn't hear about it before, given all the talk of Pakistan during this campaign.

On Obama's 1981 Trip To Pakistan.  If one was to believe the left wing media, Barack Obama's 1981 trip to Pakistan was nothing more than an innocent visit a college friend and his family. ... Pakistan was on the banned travel list for US Citizens at the time and all non-Muslim visitors were not welcome unless sponsored by their embassy for official business.  [There] would be only a few reasons a young Westerner of the Muslim faith would travel to Pakistan in 1981:
[1]  To Participate in Jihad, which is the duty of every "True Believer".
[2]  For religious education in a Wahabbi sect, Saudi funded, Madrassa.
[3]  In order to purchase drugs from the drug marketplace.
Pakistan was not a tourist stop nor the place to hang out with someone's family in 1981.

President Obama's Relationship with American Muslims is a Quiet One.  Monday, nearly 11 months after addressing the Muslim world from Cairo, President Obama delivered a major speech to Muslims in this country.  But his audience was a group of entrepreneurs, investors and educators from more than 50 countries where Muslims are a majority of the population.  The speech launched a two-day summit aimed at expanding business ties between the U.S. and the Muslim world.  Obama has yet to deliver a major speech to the American Muslim community and yet Muslim leaders in the U.S. say relations with the White House have never been better.

Why Are We Still Bowing?  Not long after President Barack Obama gave his conciliatory speeches to the Islamic world, he chose not to meddle in the sham election of Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.  In fact, he offered not a word of support for the men and women who took to the streets against that totalitarian regime. ... These days, as Christian farmers are being slaughtered by Muslim machetes in Nigeria, outrage from the White House is difficult to find — though it made sure to instruct our Libyan ambassador to apologize to "Colonel" Moammar Gadhafi after he offered some mildly critical comments about the dictator's call for jihad against Switzerland (true story).

Obama's Summit On Islamic Entrepreneurship.  The White House announced that on March 5th it was convening a "Summit on Entrepreneurship" as part of President Obama's outreach to Muslim nations. ... Were this notion not so dangerous, so ill-conceived, and so inappropriate, it would be humorous.  How ridiculous that we call our adversaries to our nation's capitol to share with them the concepts, ideals and principles that our young citizens are defending with their lives against some of them in Iraq and Afghanistan?  This Summit is an insult to our soldiers serving in the Middle East and to our unemployed citizens at home who are unable to find jobs.

Obama Ignores Islamic Extremist Threat.  In June 1876, U.S. Army General George Armstrong Custer was defeated by Cheyenne Indians at the Battle of the Little Big Horn.  In what became known as "Custer's Last Stand," defeat was attributed primarily to a false assumption. ... One hundred thirty-four years later, a false assumption and lack of understanding by President Obama for a threat of a new era could well spell similar disaster — this time for an entire nation.

Silent signals:  There is great power in the non-verbal message. ... Take for instance Obama wordlessly bowing to despots and dictators and doing so while snubbing America's greatest ally, Israel.  The President even allowed the soles of his shoes to be photographed while conversing with Bibi Netanyahu on the phone.  In Muslim culture "to have the sole of the shoe directed toward one is pretty much the equivalent of someone in our culture giving you the finger."

Holder's Justice Department Full of Terrorist Defenders.  At the rate the Obama Administration is going, it may rival the Nixon Administration in its cover-ups and dishonesty.  The new revelation that at least nine attorneys in the Justice Department have previously defended accused jihad terrorist follows closely after another incident remarkably similar in broad outline:  the Rashad Hussain debacle.

Who Are the Gitmo 9?  The Obama administration, and Holder's Justice Department in particular, have a knack for making a bad thing worse.  Their typical scandal pattern is:  (a) make bold pronouncements about unprecedented transparency, (b) show a little leg, and then (c) stonewall, after which (d) White House chief of staff Rahm Emanuel assures some friendly journalist that everything would have been different if only they'd have listened to him.  The result is the the trifecta:  The administration ends up looking hypocritical, sinister, and incompetent.

Napolitano Meets with Muslim Brotherhood Leaders.  Although there is no evidence of an exchange of classified information, this meeting was the beginning of an Obama administration program aimed at devising a new information-sharing framework with the Muslim organizations — some of them regarded as extremist because of their ties to the Muslim Brotherhood.

W.H. affirms confidence in Islam envoy.  The White House is expressing its confidence in a White House counsel's office attorney President Barack Obama recently named as U.S. envoy to the Islamic Conference, Rashad Hussain, despite his concession last week that he made ill-considered statements in 2004 about Bush-era terrorism prosecutions.

Obama selects a voice of radical Islam.  As [Washington] Examiner columnist Cal Thomas wrote recently, Obama's selection of Rashad Hussain, his deputy associate White House counsel, as U.S. special envoy to the Organization of the Islamic Conference, "should be of concern to Congress and the American people."  Comprising 57 member states, the OIC's charter makes clear its purpose is to "defend" and "disseminate" the Muslim faith.  Whenever human rights collide with Islam, the OIC sides with the latter.

Obama assisting in imposing Islamic Sharia law, prohibiting criticism of Islam.  Barack Hussein Obama, catering to both Muslim and globalist agendas, is exposing his preference to Islamic and globalist agendas and placing yet another nail in America's coffin by appointing Rashad Hussain as special envoy to the Organization of the Islamic Conference.

Our Islamist Envoy:  What a tangled web Islamist appointees weave.  When his pro-terrorist quotes surfaced, a new White House envoy dismissed them as someone else's.  A recording says otherwise.  Now Rashad Hussain, President Obama's pick as special envoy to the Organization of the Islamic Conference, has changed his story.

Ambassador to Islam?  The US shouldn't legitimize the OIC.  On February 13, President Obama announced the appointment of Rashad Hussain, deputy associate White House counsel, as U.S. special envoy to the Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC). ... It was a bad precedent for Bush to set, and it is worse for Obama to continue.  Appointing an American envoy to the OIC gives that organization a legitimacy it does not deserve.

Obama's Envoy to the Muslim World:  A Soros Tie?  The Washington Post published an article on [Rashad Hussain's] ascent that charts how he came to the White House in the first place.  He was recruited to the White house counsel's office by Cassandra Butts — a classmate of Barack Obama's at Harvard Law School.  Who is Cassandra Butts?  She as an alumna for the left-wing think tank Center for American Progress (one of many staffing the Obama administration).  This organization is an ideas factory for the Obama administration and its hiring hall.  It just took on Van Jones, for example.  The Center for American Progress was created and funded by George Soros.

President Obama Must Choose Sides.  In his speech last spring in Cairo, Mr. Obama said, "I consider it part of my responsibility as President of the United States to fight against negative stereotypes of Islam wherever they appear."  Defending the honor of Islam and protecting Muslims is one of the goals that Barack Obama has set for himself.  It constitutes a personal definition of his presidency.  But is he doing so to the point of misleading the public in general, and at the risk of jeopardizing the American people in particular?

Rashad Hussain's Troubling Ties:  President Obama has chosen Rashad Hussain to be his special envoy to the Organization of the Islamic Conference, a post originally created by the Bush Administration in 2008.  Hussain's past association with Muslim Brotherhood-connected entities raises major questions about the type of outreach he envisions for the Muslim world.

Troubling Views at Event Attended by Obama's Muslim Envoy:  The Islamic organization whose event was attended by President Obama's new envoy to the Muslim world six years ago has a history of radical stances, and at the time of the event it was urging members to support incarcerated Muslims including terror suspects and a convicted cop killer.

Is White House Attorney Involved in Media Cover-up?  There is a somewhat convoluted story flying under the radar about a White House official, Rashad Hussain, who back in 2004 allegedly spoke out in support of Sami Al-Arian, a man accused (and subsequently convicted) of aiding the Palestinian Islamic Jihad terrorist organization.  Hussain has worked in the White House Counsel's Office since January 2009, and just last week was appointed by the President as his Special Envoy to the Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC).

A Victory for the Muslim Brotherhood.  In a controversial move, the Obama administration has decided to lift Tariq Ramadan's ban from the United States.  Who is Tariq Ramadan?  By birth, he is the grandson of Hassan al Banna — the founder of the Muslim Brotherhood (MB).  By word and deed, he is today a leading member of the European branch of the MB.

Obama's Revisionist History of Terrorism:  Since taking office, Obama's key objective on terrorism has been to transform the public perception of it from an international military conflict, to a limited domestic criminal problem. Renaming terrorism to the bureaucratically euphonious term, "Man Caused Disasters" was straight out of the first rule in the textbook of organizational coverups, to phrase your sentences so that the identity of the perpetrators of the crisis remain as vague as possible.

Obama Aids the Enemy He Will Not Name.  On December 29, and very much under the radar, (he was sunnin' and funnin' in Hawaii at the time), Obama declassified just about everything he possibly could.  All of it will help foreign governments and Obama's Communist-Socialist associates in the U.S.  This executive order is a tsunami info-dump of newly declassified data — material that was classified before June 29, 1985.  It is all about to be made public — despite the danger this poses to U.S. national security — 180 days from the signing of the Executive Order.

Did White House "Gatecrashers" Have Ties to Obama?  While the major media have bought the official storyline about the so called White House gatecrashers, could there be more to this scandal?  The mainstream media have ignored obvious holes in the story and important facts about the alleged gatecrashers.  Not only did they pose for a previous photo with Barack Obama, one of them, Tareq Salahi, has ties to some of the same radical Arab interests that backed Obama.

What is White House Covering Up in "GateCrashers" Scandal?  The White House has consistently acted as if it has something to hide. ... As I alluded to in a previous column, the evidence indicates that the Salahis are publicity seekers and possibly con-artists.  But the verdict is still out as to whether or not they actually "crashed" the state dinner or were waved on through by White House officials aware of their connections to a notorious Obama friend and associate, pro-Palestinian activist Rashid Khalidi.

Don't Worry, Honey, It's Just Another "Isolated Extremist".  [Scroll down]  Obama didn't need a top secret briefing to learn all this.  If, as his aides told us, he was "monitoring" the situation before he spoke in public, he could have picked up most of it on the Drudge Report, or merely by bothering to read the morning papers.  The chief systemic failure here is a president whose world view defaults to the idea that there is no Islamist war on America...

Obama's Muslim grandmother among Mecca pilgrims.  Sarah Obama, US President Barack Obama's 87-year-old Kenyan grandmother, has arrived in Mecca to perform the Muslim pilgrimage of hajj, the Saudi daily Okaz reported Wednesday.  Sarah Obama, one of her grandchildren and 10 people from her village in Kenya made the pilgrimage at the invitation of Saudi Arabia's King Abdullah, the newspaper reported.

Obama's Cowardly Fort Hood Speech.  [Scroll down]  At no point during his speech did he mutter any words that describe the enemy we continue to face.  He spoke vaguely of "twisted logic" and "extremists", but failed to point the finger directly at Islam.  If we didn't know any better, we wouldn't have a clue who or what he was talking about.

Ignoring Infiltration.  [Scroll down]  Obama has confronted the crisis with yet another serving of Hope and Change rhetoric.  We shouldn't "jump to conclusions," says O., giving no notion of what those conclusions might be.  He goes on to praise the "diversity" of the armed forces, as if the fact that Hasan the Assassin's victims came from different backgrounds somehow makes things better.

Obama 'Reaches Out' by Naming 'Devout' Muslims to Security Posts.  [Obama's] "reaching out Muslims" speech in Cairo last June has been followed by action, the latest being this past week's swearing-in of a Muslim rights advocate to the Homeland Security Advisory Council, shortly after the Fort Hood massacre.

Changing the subject.  As he flew to Asia on Saturday [11/14/2009], President Obama told the media in Alaska that he opposes a congressional investigation into the Fort Hood massacre, saying that we must "resist the temptation to turn this tragic event into political theater."

Covering up jihad.  On Saturday, President Obama urged Congress to hold off investigating the Fort Hood massacre in order to let law enforcement and military authorities do their work.  Mr. Obama said the ongoing investigation "will look at the motives of the alleged gunman, including his views and contacts."  But if Army Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan saw himself as a jihadist warrior, we may never hear about it at his trial.  The defense, judge and even prosecution may have an interest in keeping the shooter's radical worldview under wraps.  Maj. Hasan will be on trial, but jihadism will not.

Senate Committee Postpones Fort Hood Hearing At Request of White House.  The Senate Armed Services Committee postponed its Monday briefing on the deadly Fort Hood massacre at the request of the White House — despite calls from some lawmakers to press forward with a congressional investigation into the shooting rampage that killed 13 and wounded 29.

Obama says don't jump to conclusions on shooting.  President Barack Obama said Friday the entire nation is grieving for those slain at Fort Hood, and he urged people not to jump to conclusions while law enforcement officers investigate the shootings.

Jumping to Conclusions.  "Don't jump to conclusions" is an all-purpose tautology, like "Don't panic."  It's hard to argue with.  One wonders, though, exactly what conclusions he has in mind.  I think it's safe to predict that President Obama will never reach those conclusions, let alone jump to them.

Obama can't be bothered by Islamic terrorism.  In the wake of the terrorist strike on our soldiers at Fort Hood, one individual's still missing in action:  Our commander in chief.  The massacre's 51 casualties, including 13 dead, were insufficient to drag President Obama away from the White House Happy Hour.  We just saw the worst terror attack on America since 9/11.  And Obama couldn't adjust his schedule to support our grieving troops.

Obama's Killing Us With His Kindness — to Others.  It seems that every time Obama speaks to an Islamic group or to the entire Islamic world, he either condemns the United States with derogatory remarks or gives away the hard earned dollars that American taxpayers have paid into the Treasury for taxes; OR BOTH.  This latest instance sees the financing of up to 150 million dollars for Islamic "selected projects and funds."  Not anything specific, just throw a big wad of tax dollars in the direction of the Islamic World to show what a big-hearted guy he is.

Obama Adviser Loves Sharia.  Dalia Mogahed, Barack Obama's adviser on Muslim affairs, appeared on British television last week, where she said:  "Sharia is not well understood and Islam as a faith is not well understood." How have we misunderstood Islamic law?  We have associated it with "maximum criminal punishments" and "laws that... to many people seem unequal to women."

America cannot afford Obama.  Just as Jimmy Carter was no friend of the United States and crafted his economic policies to favor his European friends, Barrack Obama prefers the Middle Eastern theocracies.  He has praised Islamic Terrorists as prime examples of humanity's best.  He has ignored and even sniffed at memorials of the holocaust.  While his wife was damning the country that kept her wealthy and free, Obama was doing everything he could to ignore the mutilation of prepubescent girls in the Sudan.

Obama's Moral-Leadership Balloon Crashes.  Hundreds of thousands of Iranians endured tear gas, bullets, arrests, and torture in an attempt to topple one of the most vicious and dangerous regimes in the world.  Yet day after day, President Obama, moral beacon to the world, dismissed and even denigrated them.  He was not going to allow a bunch of democrats to interfere with his meticulously planned overture of friendship toward the mullahs.

The Day America Lost the War on Terror:  On Nov. 4, 2008, America lost the war on terror.  President Barack Obama's feckless, pathetically apologetic perspective on foreign policy spells the end of the quest for liberty in the Middle East.  It spells the end of America's moral leadership in the global war for freedom.  And it spells the end of a hard-fought campaign to protect America.

U.S. no longer at war with 'terrorism'.  It's official.  The United States is no longer engaged in a "war on terrorism."  Neither is it fighting "jihadists" nor locked in a "global war."  President Obama's top homeland security and counterterrorism official on Thursday [8/6/2009] declared as unacceptable the terms crafted by the George W. Bush administration.

Obama replaces 'global war on terror' in strategy shift: aide.  President Barack Obama is replacing the "global war on terror" with a new US strategy more narrowly focused on Al-Qaeda and relying more on a broader effort to engage the Muslim world, a top aide said Thursday [8/6/2009].

White House:  'War on terrorism' is over.  It's official.  The U.S. is no longer engaged in a "war on terrorism."  Neither is it fighting "jihadists" or in a "global war."  President Obama's top homeland security and counterterrorism official took all three terms off the table of acceptable words inside the White House during a speech Thursday [8/6/2009]at the Center for Strategic and International Studies, a Washington think tank.

Bush's 'War' On Terror Comes to a Sudden End.  President Obama yesterday [1/22/2009] eliminated the most controversial tools employed by his predecessor against terrorism suspects.  With the stroke of his pen, he effectively declared an end to the "war on terror," as President George W. Bush had defined it, signaling to the world that the reach of the U.S. government in battling its enemies will not be limitless.

Dancing Among Landmines — The Obama Al-Arabiya Interview.  Triangulation is a touchy art and it takes the genius of a Dick Morris cum soulless Bill Clinton to pull off such disingenuousness.  In less experienced hands it can be explosive and turn on its user.  And Obama will soon learn the dangerous game he is playing.

Obama's Odd Islamic Outreach.  In his "first message to the Muslim world" Tuesday [1/27/2009], President Obama on Al-Arabiya TV invited the Is lamic Republic in Iran to "unclench its fist" and accept his offer of "un conditional talks."  A few hours later, after Obama had appeared on the Saudi-owned satellite-TV channel, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad told a crowd of militants that no talks are possible unless the United States met a set of conditions.

What have we done to ourselves, — and why?  Many Americans have been convinced for some time that Obama is a closet Islamic.  After reading the headlines in the January 22, 2009 Fox News First 100 days of the Presidency "Obama is expected to sign 'several' executive orders Thursday [1/22/2009], directing the CIA to close secret foreign prisons and Guantanamo Bay, and limiting detention and interrogation methods" he has given more credence to these convictions.  He is apparently making it softer and easier for Islamic/Muslims to damage the United States.

Obama Gives First TV Interview To Arabic Network.  President Barack Obama gave his first formal television interview as president to an Arabic cable TV network, telling Al-Arabiya that when it comes to Middle East matters "all too often the United States starts by dictating." ... "My job to the Muslim world is to communicate that the Americans are not your enemy," Obama said.  "We sometimes make mistakes.  We have not been perfect."

Lethal olive branch.  President Barack Obama has disgraced himself and the United States.  His first formal television interview as commander in chief was not with CNN, MSNBC, ABC or Fox News — American media outlets.  Instead, it was with Al Arabiya, a Saudi-funded Arabic-language news channel. ... Call it diplomacy by self-induced delusion.  Mr. Obama may want to deny we are in a war against radical Islam, but it doesn't mean there isn't one.  He may choose not to fight it.  We did that once before.  The result was 3,000 dead and the worst attack ever on U.S. soil.  What price will America pay the next time we refuse to face this ugly reality?

Government takes over, Obama apologizes.  The president chose Arab television, Al Arabiya, to give his first sit down interview.  He took the opportunity to confirm the long held Arab view that the real problem is America and President Obama apologized on our behalf.  "...America was not born as a colonial power," he told the Arab viewing audience — implying we are now.  And he regretfully confessed that "We sometimes make mistakes.  We are not perfect."  Sorry, but weren't we the ones that were attacked?  Do we not stand in long lines and disrobe in airports because of them?  Does anyone recall anywhere, anytime hearing apologies from any Arab or Muslim leader?

Obama has begun discreet talks with Iran, Syria.  US President Barack Obama has already used experts within the last few months to hold high-level but discreet talks with both Iran and Syria, organizers of the meetings told AFP.

 What's this?  He has been negotiating "within the last few months", but he was only sworn in two weeks ago.

S-U-B-M-I-S-S-I-O-N.  Several observers have noted in recent days that Mr. Obama's outreach to the Muslim world is not only defensive and apologetic.  It explicitly embraces a narrative that is factually erroneous and deprecating to his own country.  For example, in his Inaugural address, the president spoke of seeking "a new way forward [with the Muslim world], based on mutual interest and mutual respect."  He amplified this idea during his first post-Inaugural interview, which was granted to a Saudi-owned network, Al Arabiya:  He is determined to "restore" the "same respect and partnership America had with the Muslim world as recently as 20 or 30 years ago."

Obama's charm offensive and the global jihad.  [Jimmy] Carter's failure to understand the threat posed by the Soviet Empire had costly consequences for America and the world.  Will that pattern now be repeated with Barack Obama and the threat from radical Islam?

Obama opening floodgates by inviting Hamas to "migrate" to the U.S.A.?  On his first official day in the White House, President Barack Obama was on the horn to President Mahmoud Abbas.  "The spokesman for President Abbas revealed that Mr. Obama had told the Palestinian leader that their conversation was his first with a foreign statesman since taking office." (TimesOnLine, Jan. 22, 2009).  Some thought that first call to the leader of the Palestinian authority was for spite.  Others for statesman like reasons, still others for appeasement.

Pres. Obama Invites Hamas Terrorists to America.  By executive order, President Barack Obama has ordered the expenditure of $20.3 million in migration assistance to the Palestinian refugees and conflict victims in Gaza.  The "presidential determination" which allows hundreds of thousands of Palestinians with ties to Hamas to resettle in the United States was signed on January 27 and appeared in the Federal Register on February 4.

Hillary Clinton 'to reach out to Muslim world'.  "It's the biggest Muslim country in the world," said a state department spokesman, Robert Wood, when asked why she included Indonesia on her visit to Asia.  "The secretary feels it's important to reach out."  There had been speculation that Mr Obama would himself make an early visit to the country where he lived between the ages of six and ten, and personally deliver a message of friendliness to the Muslim world.

War on Words.  In another effort to undo the legacy of George W. Bush's presidency, the Obama administration is searching for alternatives to the term "war on terror."

Obama may become a disaster.  There is a reason why Israel's voters are suddenly turning to the center-Right Netanyahu and Likud.  They fear that for the first time since Harry Truman, an American administration is turning against the Jewish State.  Obama's first phone call after the election was made to Mahmoud Abbas.  His first television interview was with Al Arabiya.  The appointments of Samantha Power and Susan Rice bode ill for the entire Middle East.

Begging for Terror.  Military judge Susan Crawford on Thursday dropped all charges against Abd al Rahim al Nashiri, the mastermind of the 2000 suicide-bomb attack against USS Cole — a cowardly act that took the lives of 17 US Navy sailors, and a clear precursor to the 9/11 terrorist attacks.  An outrage, you say?  True enough.  But don't blame the judge.  She was acting in full compliance with President Obama's executive order halting trials at the Guantanamo Bay terrorist-detention facility.

Trade, not pork, is the key.  President Obama has announced policies that make it more likely that we will be attacked, to wit, the cessation of aggressive interrogation of captured terrorists, and shutting down the prison at Guantanamo Bay.  The attack on 9/11 cost our economy a trillion dollars, and the next attack could do the same or more.  In these economic times, we should be increasing our efforts to stop terrorism, not decreasing them and hoping terrorists will suddenly stop hating us.

Obama takes a different tone, and Muslims say they like it.  In 10 days, President Barack Obama has transformed the U.S. dialogue with the Muslim world.  His tools have been carefully chosen words of reconciliation, the decision to close Guantanamo Bay prison and the early dispatch of a Middle East peace envoy.

Would You Turn Your Cheek to a Terrorist?  The president told [Anderson] Cooper that "words matter in this situation because one of the ways we're going to win this struggle is through the battle of hearts and minds."  My question is this:  Are we now trying to win over the hearts and minds of terrorists?  Certainly there are issues that need to be debated in the marketplace of ideas. ... But for those who are already indoctrinated, immersed, and otherwise in bondage to a fanatical Islamist ideology, it is foolhardy to think that any words from anyone in the west will disabuse them of their destructive notions and deadly ambitions.

President Obama Believes He Can Charm the Barbarians.  America's first (half) African-American president, whose first order of business was to reach out to the Muslim world on Al-Arabiya, has said he will actively negotiate with the Iranians, Afghans, Pakistanis, and Saudis.  I wish him well.  But I also fear for him and hope he reads what I have to say.  He must understand that he will be dealing with barbarians.  Like all good liberals, he may not understand what that means.  But what word other than "barbaric" describes the systematic incitement to violence that takes place in mosques and on television and which has led to mob rampages and episodes of "wilding" against Muslim girls and women who are group-groped, gang raped, kidnapped into sexual slavery, set on fire, buried alive, blinded by acid for daring to go to school, work as a newscaster, a hairdresser, or for a foreign company, refuse to wear a shroud, or choose to marry someone of their own choice.

Murphy's Law, the Peter Principle and Barack Obama.  In only three weeks' time, this President has signaled to every terrorist on the planet that we are a sorry, groveling, ashamed Nation ready to come to the diplomatic confessional.  He is closing Gitmo within one year, has suspended trials there, and dismissed the charges against the U.S.S. Cole plotter.  American penance is coming and it's coming fast and feebly on its knees.  President Obama has just put our money where his mouth is and is using $20.3 million to bring in Palestinian refugees from Gaza, the Hamas-controlled region where folks prefer bomb-making to bread-baking.  Instead of helping Israel defeat them, this President brings them here.

America slides into the sewer.  While American Jews and many Israelis still have their heads stuck firmly in the sand about Obama, there is huge and growing concern in more informed Israeli governmental circles that Israel faces the most unfriendly or even hostile President that anyone can recall — and this at a time when the drums of Iranian genocide are beating ever more loudly.  Such concern has been deepened by his decision at the weekend to 'help plan' the 'Durban 2' UN conference.  This event ... is a re-run of the UN's anti-Jew hate-fest that was held a few days before 9/11 under the grotesque misnomer of a human rights conference.

Obama, the Middle East and Islam — An Initial Assessment.  Why, just two weeks into a 209-week term, assess a new American president's record on so esoteric a subject as the Middle East and Islam?  In Barack Obama's case, because of:  (1) A contradictory record:  His background brims over with wild-eyed anti-Zionist radicals such as Ali Abunimah, Rashid Khalidi, and Edward Said, with Islamists, the Nation of Islam, and the Saddam Hussein regime ... [and] (2) The outsized role of the Middle East and Islam:  His first fortnight in office witnessed an inaugural address that mentioned them prominently, a first diplomatic telephone call to Mahmoud Abbas of the Palestinian Authority, the appointment of two high-profile envoys, and the first interview granted to Al-Arabiya television channel.

The fifth columnist in the White House:  In the past four weeks, every single one of Obama's foreign policy initiatives has appeased and strengthened the enemies of both Israel and the west, whose fates are umbilically linked. The driving motif of Obama's foreign policy has been 'engagement' with the Muslim world. Ostensibly offering the hand of friendship if that world unclenches its own fist, he is actually offering up not just the west's hand but its entire body to be kicked into submission. And I use that last word advisedly.

So far, 'SuperTeflon' coat protects Obama.  Was it really necessary for President Obama to grant his very first TV interview not to a domestic audience, not to a foreign audience of allied or friendly countries, but to an Arabic TV station, to assure them that America would no longer be a "bully" there?  What did that mean, anyway?  What is the troop surge he said he would implement in Afghanistan if not "bullying?"  Was it necessary for him to add in that interview that many of his relatives are Moslems — even as he and his followers bristled at any suggestion during the campaign that he had special ties to Islam?

The Obama Administration Sacrifices Israel.  The Obama administration's decision to join the planning of the U.N.'s Durban II "anti-racism" conference has just taken a new twist:  cover-up.  On Friday, State Department officials and a member of the American Durban II delegation claimed the United States had worked actively to oppose efforts to brand Israel as racist in the committee drafting a Durban II declaration.  The trouble is that they didn't.

All Carrots, No Sticks.  Despite claims to the contrary, the use of force by the United States to prevent the mullahs in Teheran from possessing nuclear weapons is now effectively off the table.  During the presidential campaign, President Obama assured the American people that an Iranian atomic weapon would be "unacceptable," but unless Israel takes action, the President has entrapped himself in negotiations that will not move these hardened jihadist revolutionaries but will only provide them enough time to enrich the uranium they need for their first atomic weapon.

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton to pledge $900M in aid to Gaza on 1st visit to Mideast.  Hillary Clinton will carry a $900 million pledge for Gaza aid on her politically risky first trip to the Mideast as secretary of state, U.S. officials said Monday.  The money for reconstruction in the Gaza Strip will be pledged at a donors' conference in the Egyptian Red Sea resort of Sharm el-Sheikh next Monday.

My Muslim President Obama.  I know President Obama is not Muslim, but I am tempted nevertheless to think that he is, as are most Muslims I know.  In a very unscientific oral poll, ranging from family members to Muslim acquaintances, many of us feel, just as African-Americans did for the non-black but culturally leaning African-American President Bill Clinton, that we have our first American Muslim president in Barack Hussein Obama.

A Month of B.O.  With all the pro-Palestinians filling Obama's staff chairs, an independent observer might believe that he is considering tossing Israel under the bus, not that there is any room left down there.  If it weren't for the providential squeaker of a victory by Bibi Netanyahu in the Israeli elections, the formerly committed Western alliance in the Middle East would resemble a beached school of 98 pound weaklings begging to have sand kicked in our faces.  And the other guys have a lot of sand.

Obama The Appeaser?  President Obama's broad scheme for foreign policy has been something of a puzzle, short on specifics and long on talk about forging alliances, extending hands and "engaging."  In his first address to a joint session of Congress on Tuesday evening, Obama offered a further hint — repeating the gist of the argument with which, as one of his first acts in office, he ordered the closing of Guantanamo Bay:  "Living our values doesn't make us weaker.  It makes us safer, and it makes us stronger."

Congressmen Question Saudi Lobbyist for Head of National Intelligence Council.  How could the President think that assigning a key intelligence post to someone whose prejudices are so extreme that they have convoluted history, who excuses enemies of the U.S., and who condemns its friends would be able to provide the unvarnished, unbiased information that the nation needs for its security?

Liberal derangement:  There has never been a situation like this.  'Surreal', as Daniel Pipes expostulates, just doesn't begin to describe what America, Britain and Europe are doing in Gaza.  America has pledged $900 million for the 'rebuilding' of Gaza; at the 'donors' conference at Sharm el Sheikh yesterday, pledges from more than 70 states including Europe and Britain swelled that total to more than $4.4 billion.

Mullahs can't be charmed.  The new era of engagement thus appears so far to be providing the Iranians with valuable leeway for the pursuit of their nuclear ambitions, and the Syrians with similar space to avoid being brought to account for their own, apparently now discontinued program.  In addition, the new era is giving the spokesmen of both dictatorships plenty of opportunity for engaging in the scolding and proclamations of moral superiority of which they are fond.  It is unlikely that this is what the new US President had in mind.

Open your eyes!  With each announcement of a new appointee to the Obama Middle East foreign policy team the tilt against Israel increases.  Samantha Powers and James Jones, both with long records of antagonism towards Israel, were followed by lesser-known names of the same persuasion.

Obama:  Pro-Israel talk, anti-Israel walk.  Barely a month into the presidency of Barack Obama, a profound realization is spreading among the pro-Israel community:  we do not have an ally in the White House. ... So how exactly did this get by most Jewish voters during last year's election?

Obama's futile search for 'moderate radicals'.  The words we use are important, and each has its own specific meaning.  So when the Obama Administration said that it was open to dealing with "moderate Taliban," people should ask what in the world it means.  The Taliban is by definition a radical organization that is not about to give on its maximalist demand of imposing Sharia law wherever it attains power.  It is in its very essence contrary to everything we believe in as Americans.

The Myth of America's 'Tough' Iran Policy.  As futile as the idea of talking to the Ayatollahs seems to sober Americans and our allies today, we must first set the record straight on those policies of the past that Obama is determined to change:  America has never had a "tough" policy toward the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Hillary in the Middle East:  In laying out the Obama administration's Mideast strategy on her first trip to the region, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton made clear that Washington will deal ever so warmly and gently with Mahmoud Abbas and the Palestinian Authority, while leaning on Israel to do the heavy lifting in the peace process and offering more accommodation to the PA's needs.  Because make no mistake, in putting formation of a Palestinian state at the top of her priority list, Clinton put her chips, first and foremost, on the PA and only secondarily on Israel's security interests.

Obama:  I'll forge new ties with Muslims.  In phone conversations with the leaders of Indonesia, Saudi Arabia and the Philippines on Friday [3/13/2009], US President Barack Obama discussed his commitment to forging a new relationship with Islamic countries, among other issues.  The White House said Obama discussed the importance of improving US relations with Islamic countries with Indonesian President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono.

The Appeasers.  A group of today's appeasers sent a letter to President-elect Obama just before the Inauguration (so that it was apparently drafted during the Gaza fighting), calling on him to negotiate with Hamas.  Others, such as the British Government, are undertaking negotiations with Hezbollah.  Vice President Joe Biden wants talks with the Taliban.  The pro-Israel Washington Institute wants to tone down the language we use, recommending we stop using phrases like "war on terror," "global insurgency," even "the Muslim world."  The president himself wants talks with Iran, as do numerous columnists, such as the New York Times's Roger Cohen.  Secretary of State Clinton has dispatched diplomats to Damascus to talk to Bashar Assad.

Mr. President:  War Is Not A 'Struggle' Or 'Situation'.  First, President Obama jettisoned the admittedly empty and useless phrase "war on terror," a label which pleased pretty much no one, primarily because it didn't specify an enemy; it's often been pointed out that the phrase was like calling World War II a "war on blitzkrieg."  Next, Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano avoided even mentioning the word "terrorism" in her first congressional testimony.  Now the Department of Justice has announced it is dropping the legal designation "enemy combatants," which referred to suspected terrorist detainees.  The aim of all this muting of the language in the War with No Name is twofold: for the Obama administration to distance itself from George W. Bush's "politics of fear," and to whitewash a plain fact that liberals are suicidally reluctant to acknowledge — that we are at war with radical Islam.

Will Obama embrace Shariah as part of his 'respect Islam' campaign?  President Obama on Friday reiterated for the umpteenth time his determination to develop a "new relationship" with the Muslim world.  On this occasion, the audience were the leaders of Saudi Arabia, Indonesia and the Philippines.  Unfortunately, it increasingly appears that, in so doing, he will be embracing the agenda of the Muslim Brotherhood — an organization dedicated to promoting the theo-political-legal program authoritative Islam calls Shariah and that has the self-described mission of "destroying Western civilization from within."

Away From the Politics of Fear.  Spiegel:  Madame Secretary, in your first testimony to the US Congress as Homeland Security Secretary you never mentioned the word "terrorism."  Does Islamist terrorism suddenly no longer pose a threat to your country?  Napolitano:  Of course it does.  I presume there is always a threat from terrorism.  In my speech, although I did not use the word "terrorism," I referred to "man-caused" disasters.  That is perhaps only a nuance, but it demonstrates that we want to move away from the politics of fear toward a policy of being prepared for all risks that can occur.

Obama-Speak Replaces 'Terrorism' With 'Man-Caused Disaster'.  Even as President Obama compares bankers to suicide bombers, his Homeland Security Secretary is suggesting the T-word, terrorism, is too inflammatory and representative of old-fashioned "politics of fear."  She's announced a new term:  "man-caused disaster."

Why would a President snub our allies and befriend terrorists?  One by one Barack Obama is alienating our closest allies.  First, he snubbed Israel by making his phone call to the leader of the Palestinian authority his first official act as President on the morning of January 21.  In that phone call he conveyed to the enemy of Israel that he could count on 'U.S. support for Palestinian goals.'  This is not the only time he has brushed off Israel.  His overtures toward Hamas and Iran's extremist Islamist government are but further indications of his deep disdain for the Jewish state.

Obama and Khamenei.  During the U.S. presidential election, President Obama boasted that he would embark on personal diplomacy to solve our foreign policy problems with terrorist countries such as Syria and the Islamic Republic. ... President Obama, it takes two to tango, as the old saying goes.  The uncompromising oil-intoxicated fanatics of Iran and their proxies don't want to dance with you.  They want the entire floor — the Middle East — and the rest of the world down the road.

Apologies Just Tell Our Enemies We're Weak.  First, President Obama sends a message to the Muslim world, effectively apologizing for the policies of George W. Bush.  Excuse me, but shouldn't the Muslim world be apologizing to America for their contributions to the radicalization of their brethren that led them to kill 3,000 Americans on 9/11?

1984 in 2009.  Last week President Obama announced that we would no longer call enemy combatants "Enemy Combatants."  Yesterday [3/26/2009] the Office of Management and Budget sent a memo instructing people who are fighting the Global War on Terror that it was no longer Global, nor a War, nor had anything to do with Terror.

Obama's Remarkable 9/11 Blindspot.  Whether anyone chooses to notice or not, President Obama put himself out on the very edge of a very long and fragile limb on the issue of how to handle terror suspects at Guantanamo Bay. ... In fact, if it turns out that we do have another 9/11 and there is even a shred of evidence that the closing of Guantanamo had anything to do with our inability to prevent it, I don't think that Obama could have closed off any more of his plausible escape hatches if he had actually tried to do so.

Clueless Obama Bows Before Saudi King.  We never heard the end of it when Bush held his hand while they walked together.  I wonder if the left will be yukking it up over this?  Is Obama that stupid he doesn't know only his subjects bow before him?  Apparently so.

One in 10 Americans still think Barack Obama is Muslim.  White evangelical Protestants and Republicans were the most likely to say Mr Obama — who has an Arabic middle name — was Muslim in response to the poll question:  "Do you happen to know what Barack Obama's religion is?"  Nearly one in five white evangelical Protestants and 17 percent of the Republicans who took part in the telephone poll of 1,308 adults, which was conducted by Pew Research from March 9-12, said they thought Obama was Muslim.

Obama bows down to Saudi King.  I am quite certain that this is not the protocol, and is most unbecoming a President of the United States.

With bowed head and bended knee.  Has anyone ever seen Barack Obama publicly bow and bend his knee when meeting someone prior to yesterday?  I don't recall any photos of such a gesture of greeting, but I would be very happy if some of the President's defenders on the left could provide such evidence that his striking body language yesterday [4/2/2009] before the monarch of Saudi Arabia and custodian of the holy cities of Mecca and Medina was simply a habitual gesture of warmth.

Obama doubles down on the bow to the Saudi King.  The story is officially "in play" now that the White House has spoken, albeit from an anonymous source.  American citizens are implicitly asked to view the demi-prostration and decide for themselves.  The evidence simply does not support the official position of the Obama administration.

The MSM coverup of the Presidential bow before the financier of radical Islam.  You have to look really hard to find it, but the American mainstream media are glancing at the stunning Obama bow before the King of Saudi Arabia, but only for the purpose of dismissing it.

Obama unable to shake Muslim myth.  In a series of four surveys conducted during the last year, 12 percent consistently said the president is a Muslim.  The number of evangelical Protestants with that belief — 19 percent — also has remained unchanged.  The same is true for Republicans:  17 percent said Mr. Obama was Muslim in 2008, as they do now.  Among blacks, 6 percent say he is Muslim, down from 10 percent.  Among Democrats, the number is 7 percent, down from 9 percent.  Less than half of Americans — 48 percent — say Mr. Obama is a Christian, down from 51 percent.  Thirty-five percent don't know what religion he is; no one classified him as an atheist.

11% of Americans believe Obama is a Muslim.  A poll conducted by Pew Research in March shows that over one in 10 Americans still believe President Barack Obama is a Muslim.  That number is only slightly lower than the results of a poll conducted by Pew last October.  White evangelical Protestants (19%) and Republicans (17%) are among the most likely to view Obama as a Muslim, according to the poll.

Obama declares US not at war with Islam.  Barack Obama, making his first visit to a Muslim nation as president, declared Monday [4/6/2009] the United States "is not and will never be at war with Islam."  Calling for a greater partnership with the Islamic world in an address to the Turkish parliament, Obama called the country an important U.S. ally in many areas, including the fight against terrorism.

Obama's Unholy War Against Christianity, Not Islam.  As far as Obama is concerned, the only religion to be "reformed" — which is to say destroyed — is not the west's historic adversary but its progenitor.  Islam is peaceful, he pronounces, while traditional Christianity is bigoted and dangerous. Islam is a friend to America, while traditional Christians are, as Obama supporter Tom Hanks described Proposition 8 supporters, "un-American."

A Christian Nation?  President Barack Obama said in Turkey:  "We do not consider ourselves a Christian nation or a Jewish nation or a Muslim nation.  We consider ourselves a nation of citizens who are bound by ideals and a set of values."  Well, I don't know what "we" consider "ourselves," but I do think we ought to examine that statement and why Obama felt compelled to make it a part of his world apology tour.

Obama sheathes his sword and bows in respect to the Muslim world.  This was Obama's first presidential visit to a Muslim-majority country.  Indeed it is only in that context that his speech in Ankara can be fully appreciated.  This was not simple nation-to-nation diplomacy.  It is clear Obama is attempting something more ambitious than that.  He is fundamentally reshaping America's relations with the Muslim world...

Obama:  Islam Has Shaped the U.S.A..  Undeniably the Islamic faith has done a great deal to shape the world — a statement that makes no value judgment about exactly how it has shaped the world.  It has formed the dominant culture in what is known as the Islamic world for centuries.  But what on earth could Obama mean when he says that Islam has also "done so much" to shape his own country?  Unless he considers himself an Indonesian, Obama's statement was extraordinarily strange.

The dilemma of the "good" Muslim.  Even before his inauguration, President Obama signaled a change of attitude toward Islam.  He renounced the term "war on terror" and has never even flirted with another right-wing favorite, "clash of civilizations."  Since taking office he has addressed the Islamic world with respect — a key concept in that culture — and recently declared in Israel that the United States is not at war with Islam and never will be.

Muslim woman's appointment as Obama advisor.  Egyptians are cautiously rejoicing over the recent appointment of a veiled Egyptian American Muslim woman as an advisor to President Obama.  Dalia Mogahed, senior analyst and executive director of the Gallup Center for Muslim Studies, was appointed this month to Obama's Advisory Council on Faith-Based and Neighborhood Partnerships.

How to Lose a Friend in 100 Days.  Israeli strategy is all too often constructed, if not dictated, by American foreign policy and in particular, the American President.  How then could American Jews risk the survival of the State of Israel on a man who they knew befriended and listened to an anti-Semitic pastor for 20 years, surrounded himself with anti-Semitic friends and advisors, promised to unconditionally reach out to Israel's (and America's) enemies, and flip flopped on the status of Jerusalem?

Billboards of Hate.  As Barack Hussein Obama draws closer to Iran, Syria and its proxy, Hezb'allah, moves to negotiate with Hamas and intensifies pressure on Israel, accusations about the influence of the "Israeli lobby," but not the Saudi lobby, abound.  Increasingly, America's problems are blamed by Obama appointees on U.S. support for Israel and U.S. foreign policy appears to be becoming less favorable to the Jewish state.

Obama to make major address to Muslims in Egypt.  President Barack Obama will make his long-awaited direct address to Muslims in a major speech in Egypt on June 4, accelerating his effort to rebuild the tattered US image in the Islamic world.  Obama chose Egypt for what will be a closely watched appeal because it is the heart of the Arab world, White House spokesman Robert Gibbs said Friday, laying out details of a trip that will also take in Germany and France.

Obama picks Egypt for Muslim address.  President Barack Obama will make his long-awaited address to Muslims in Egypt on June 4, accelerating his bid to mend the US image in the Islamic world from an epicentre of Arab civilisation.

Hillary Clinton's $900 Million Pledge to Palestinians Will Promote 'Hate Education,' Panelists Say.  The almost $1 billon that Secretary of State Hillary Clinton pledged as humanitarian and economic development aid for Palestinian civilians in Gaza and the West Bank in 2009 also will be used to promote terrorism and teach the next generation of Palestinians to hate non-Muslims and oppose the existence of Israel, a panel said Monday [5/11/2009] at the Heritage Foundation.

Obama's U.N. Mistake: America is now on a collision course with Israel.  In advance of Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu's visit to the United States on Monday [5/18/2009], President Obama unveiled a new strategy for throwing Israel to the wolves.  It takes the form of enthusiasm for the United Nations and international interlopers of all kinds.

Barack Obama Is Giving Iran The Time It Needs To Build A Nuclear Bomb.  Has President Obama inadvertently given Iran the green light to develop an atom bomb?  I only ask because it appears to be the logical conclusion to be drawn from his announcement this week that he is giving Iran until the end of the year to decide whether or not to co-operate with the West over its controversial nuclear programme.

Bam and the Riverdale 'Bombers'.  President Obama has done a lot of speechifying in recent days about America's "responsibilities" in fighting terror.  So you'd think he'd have a word of encouragement for the team of crack FBI agents and NYPD officers that foiled a real-life terror attack against two Bronx synagogues on Wednesday.  Alas, not a peep.

Is Obama Another Jimmy Carter?  During the U.S. Presidential primaries last year, I had expressed my misgivings that Barack Obama might turn out to be another Jimmy Carter, whose confused thinking and soft image paved the way for the success of the Islamic Revolution in Iran.  The subsequent Iranian defiance of the U.S. and Carter's inability to deal effectively with the crisis in which Iranian students raided the U.S. Embassy in Teheran...

Barack Obama is blind to his blunders over Islam.  [Obama] granted his first interview as President to Saudi television and, later, made a speech at the Turkish parliament in Ankara. On both occasions he highlighted the Islamic element of his background and solemnly declared that the "United States is not and will never be at war with Islam".

Obowma and the Saudi King.  As illegitimate Obama's presidency may be, he is now representing America.  When the president of America bows fawningly and obsequiously kisses the hand of the custodian of K'aba, like a serf kissing the hand of his master, he is sending a clear message.  This is not Obama bowing to Abdullah; it's America that is bowing to Islam.

Obama speech to offer personal commitment to Muslims.  President Barack Obama will offer a "personal commitment" to bridge US differences with Muslims in his long-awaited speech to the Islamic world next week in Egypt, aides said. ... "The speech will outline his personal commitment to engagement, based upon mutual interests and mutual respect," White House spokesman Robert Gibbs said.

High court is urged to block 9/11 suit against Saudis.  In a setback for insurers and individual victims of the 9/11 attacks, U.S. Solicitor General Elena Kagan urged the Supreme Court yesterday [5/29/2009] to reject allegations that Saudi Arabia was responsible because it indirectly financed al-Qaeda and other terrorist groups.  Kagan, in a 22-page amicus brief filed yesterday with the Supreme Court, said U.S. law generally barred lawsuits against foreign governments for supporting terrorism unless they met narrowly tailored exceptions.  Kagan said none of those exceptions applied, and she advised the court not to hear the case.

Why Obama is losing The Third Jihad.  As I pen these words not more than sixty miles north of where I sit, a radical Islamist breeding ground is churning out hate, weapons training, and radical Wahabi indoctrination.  To date President Barack Obama's administration has done zero about it.

The Real Saudi Bow.  When President Obama first met the Saudi royals, he seemed to bow at the waist.  Either that or he doubled over in pain.  Did he bow?  Or didn't he bow?  That was the topic du jour at the press briefing that day.  But now we have the answer:  Obama is, indeed, really bowing to the Saudis as he visits the Middle East this week.  First, he is bypassing Israel.  Visiting the Middle East and not going to Israel would be like touring North America and omitting a stop in the United States.

The King and O.  They walked inside the airport, sat down on two ornate gold chairs, chatted briefly and drank Arabian coffee.  The president does not particularly like coffee, but he drank all of his nonetheless. ... The gold medallion the king gave to the president is the King Abdul Aziz Collar, considered the highest honor of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, usually presented to heads of state.

The Emergence of President Obama's Muslim Roots.  Given widespread unease and prejudice against Muslims among Americans, especially in the wake of 9/11, the Obama campaign was perhaps understandably very sensitive during the primaries and general election to downplay the candidate's Muslim roots. ... Since the election, however, with the threat of the rumors at least somewhat abated, the White House has been increasingly forthcoming about the president's roots.  Especially when reaching out to the Muslim world.

Obama:  America "One of the Largest Muslim Countries in the World".  As we noted earlier, and as ABC now confirms, Obama's speech in Cairo will focus on his Muslim roots and the unique perspective it provides him.  Obama also teased the contents of the speech in an interview with a French television station:  "...Now, the flip side is I think that the United States and the West generally, we have to educate ourselves more effectively on Islam.  And one of the points I want to make is, is that if you actually took the number of Muslims Americans, we'd be one of the largest Muslim countries in the world."

Barack Hussein Obama: US "one of the largest Muslim countries in the world".  It is important to note that "if you actually took the number of Muslim Americans, we'd be one of the largest Muslim countries in the world".  So says President Barack Obama.  Or I should say:  Barack Hussein Obama.  That's right:  Barack Hussein Obama.  Say it proud.  Say it out loud.  The middle moniker that dared not speak its name during the election campaign is now front and centre of the US president's attempt to woo the Muslim world, the theme of his visits to Riyadh on Wednesday and Cairo on Thursday [6/4/2009].

Israel to Obama:  "No You Can't!"  North Korea is launching missiles, Iran is building nukes, Saudi Arabia is sponsoring hate that translates into worldwide terrorism, Sudan is still massacring and raping, China is busy ethnic cleansing Tibet into a Chinese province... but the Obama Administration is furious, yes "furious" at only one country, Israel.

What Muslim World?  Even before U.S. President Barack Obama utters a word of his long-anticipated June 4 address to "the Muslim world," there is already a problem with the rhetoric.  As well meaning as it sounds, the term "Muslim world" is a trap.  There is no unified Muslim world.  And describing it as such legitimizes the idea that it is "us vs. them" — just the sort of divided world that al Qaeda wants to create.

The reason the president won't talk about the Long murder.  Obama and others in his administration are all too happy to ignore the outrageous murder of an innocent soldier in America while condemning the outrageous murder of an abortion doctor in a church.  The latter won't affect Muslim relations with the U.S.

Obama's regret-and-redemption road show.  On Thursday [6/4/2009], Obama will indulge his hubris in Cairo by treating 1.4 billion Muslims to a lecture on American failures, a subject on which most of his intended audience needs no further instruction.  He will go on to explain how his own presidency is a repudiation of that checkered past.

Obama Renews Openness About His Muslim Roots Ahead of Egypt Speech.  President Obama has spoken proudly of American Muslims, even referencing his heritage as the son of a Muslim man, ahead of his highly anticipated speech Thursday [6/4/2009] in Cairo aimed at shoring up relations between the U.S. and the Muslim world.

Obama's Muslim comment sparks debate.  President Obama's assertion that the United States is one of the world's biggest Muslim countries has sparked debate about the comment's accuracy and how far the president will extend himself to the Muslim world.  "If you actually took the number of Muslim Americans, we'd be one of the largest Muslim countries in the world," the president told French television station Canal Plus on Monday [6/1/2009], the eve of his five-day, overseas trip with stops in Egypt and Saudi Arabia.

The End of America's Strategic Alliance with Israel?  From an Israeli perspective, Pres. Barack Obama's speech today in Cairo was deeply disturbing. Both rhetorically and programmatically, Obama's speech was a renunciation of America's strategic alliance with Israel.

White House Video Features Muslim Proselytizers.  Just after President Obama's Cairo speech ended, I clicked on the White House Web site.  The home page, and especially its compelling large image, appeared to visually suggest the America that Obama has been describing recently — a country that is not a Christian nation, nor a Jewish nation, not even a pluralistic nation, but "one of the largest Muslim countries in the world."

Let's All Accept Islam.  When Muslims start protesting the murders and indecencies performed in the name of Islam then I will accept them.  We are told that the people who do these acts are a small minority of Muslims.  So where are the protests, where are the books, where are the articles, where is the Islamic Pete Seeger?  If Islam is really a religion of peace, then start showing it.  We have been waiting for it and the memories I have are of Muslims out partying after the Twin Towers went down.  Mr. Obama, it is nice that you want us to accept Islam, but would you have asked us to accept Nazism or Communism with their mass murders and mistreatment of people?

9-11:  The Desecration.  Add another Obama insult to injury on 9-11. First, he desecrated the memory of 9-11 with his planned proclamation of his mandatory civilian service on 9-11, which he has designated a "National Day of Service."  And now 9-11 has yet another title:  State Department personnel are supposed to pray with Muslims on the newly declared "Interfaith Day of Service," whatever that means on 9-11.

Muslims to mount massive march on Washington.  The first national gathering of Muslims will take place by the site where U.S. Presidents have been inaugurated since 1981.  Key planners of the event, including Hassen Abdellah, say that the inspiration for the event came from Barack Obama's speech at the University of Cairo in which U.S. President said that Islam is an integral part of American society.

Will Americans accept Islam?  Earlier this month, at a White House dinner celebrating the Islamic holy month of Ramadan, President Obama said some things that conservative talk show hosts love to rewind and repeat.  In the presence of diplomats, business executives and members of Congress, Obama described Islam as "part of America" and hailed "its commitment to justice and progress."  He then called Islam "a great religion."  His fellow Americans are not so sure.

Obama extends greetings on Muslim holiday.  President Barack Obama is extending greetings to Muslims celebrating Eid al-Fitr, which marks the end of the holy monthlong fasting time known as Ramadan.

Hillary Salutes the Saudi King.  Amid all the coverage of President Obama's address to the United Nations, we should also note the obsequious "salute" that Secretary of State Hillary Clinton gave yesterday to Saudi King Abdullah. ... No mention was made of the fact that Saudi Arabia remains the only country in the world without a public church, or that is has been singled out by the State Department as one of the world's worst religious persecutors.

Was Barack Obama a Muslim?  "If I were a Muslim I would let you know," Barack Obama has said, and I believe him.  In fact, he is a practicing Christian, a member of the Trinity United Church of Christ.  He is not now a Muslim.  But was he ever a Muslim or seen by others as a Muslim?  More precisely, might Muslims consider him a murtadd (apostate), that is, a Muslim who converted to another religion and, therefore, someone whose blood may be shed?

Confirmed:  Barack Obama Practiced Islam.  [Scroll down]  All this matters, for if Obama once was a Muslim, he is now what Islamic law calls a murtadd (apostate), an ex-Muslim converted to another religion who must be executed.  Were he elected president of the United States, this status, clearly, would have large potential implications for his relationship with the Muslim world.

Awful.  What an awful speech.  Among the problems, one was the president's claim that there are "nearly seven million American Muslims in our country today."  The true number is probably less than half that ... During the campaign I had actually defended Obama against those who felt he would be a disaster for Israel.  This speech makes me think that may have been a mistake.  The only chance now is that this speech will be mere rhetoric, like so much in the Middle East, intended only for public consumption.  But if Obama really means it, it is bad news for the Jews in Israel and America, not to mention for American national security.

Obama's Arafat Amnesia.  Obama's self-induced amnesia about Arafat's rejection of the generous Clinton-Barak offer to create a Palestinian state in all of Gaza, 95 percent of the West Bank, and all the Arab neighborhoods in East Jersualem, including the Old City, is nothing short of astounding.  Although pro-Palestinian revisionists have tried to exculpate Arafat, both President Clinton and Dennis Ross, his chief Mideast envoy and adviser, are on record as blaming Arafat for torpedoing Camp David and a subsequent round of futile negotiations at Taba in early 2001.  History is very clear on this point.

President Obama's Cairo speech proves he's experiencing a moral muddle.  The outlines of an Obama Doctrine are taking shape.  Our President's world view can be summarized as "Everybody is a little bit guilty, especially Israel."  His demand in Cairo that Israel make major concessions before Palestinians recognize Israel's right to exist was a pander of the rankest sort.  What a difference a year and the audience make.  Exactly a year before his Cairo speech, on June 4, 2008, candidate Obama told the American Israel Public Affairs Committee he would "never force Israel to the negotiating table" or to make "concessions."

The Grand Apology Tour.  [Osama] Bin Laden doesn't make any apologies for who he is — or the violence he advocates. ... Mr. Obama, on the other hand, is desperate for affirmation — thus his repeated references to his Muslim father and the Holy Koran in an effort to bond with his Islamic audience.  To demonstrate empathy with "our Arab allies" — and show improvement from his predecessors — he did not visit Israel and pointedly condemned Israeli settlements, the construction of which, he said, "undermines efforts to achieve peace."

Young Americans in J'lem 'feel the hate' for Obama.  A new video posted on the Internet featuring inebriated American Jewish youth in a Jerusalem bar spouting hate-filled sentiments has garnered massive exposure and caused a firestorm in the media and the Jewish world. ... "You're all about talking to the Arabs," says one.  "You're going to Cairo making a speech to the Muslim world trying to get them to love you, what about the Jews, man?  What are we, chopped liver?  You don't care about us.  Are we nothing to you?  Do we matter?  Do you care if we get driven into the sea?  Do you care if we get nuked?

The Editor says...
 That doesn't sound like "hate-filled sentiments" to me, just reasonable dissent.  Have we now arrived at the point where any disagreement with the left is called "hate"?  Were the Federalist Papers full of "hate-filled sentiments"?

The Era of Bipartisan Support for Israel is Over.  After successfully wooing nearly 80% of the Jewish vote with his siren song, it has taken little more than one hundred days for the true motives of Barack Hussein Obama — who now desires that his Muslim origins be noted — to be revealed and put into action.  For years prior to his election, Obama comfortably operated within the realm of the anti-Israel perspective.  His record of sharing personal, intellectual and political relationships with anti-Semites, purveyors of Palestinian victimology, and characters who seek to demonize Israel at every opportunity had been well documented, albeit intentionally ignored and ruled as "off-limits" during the campaign by his many supporters and the mainstream media.

Israel Need Not Apply for 'Hope and Change'.  I find myself becoming more and more upset and exasperated with the way Israel is being thrown under the bus by President Obama.  During his most recent Major Speech&tm;, this time in Cairo — which seemed to be more popular with the American press than with the Egyptians, and which Charles Krauthammer aptly described as "abstract, vapid, and self-absorbed" — Obama made clear his intent to fundamentally change U.S.-Israeli relations, which up until now have been that of friends and allies.

Capitulation in Cairo?  The real meaning of President Obama's recent address to the Muslim world in Cairo is that he is turning his back on the Jews at a time when they face another possible Holocaust.  Mr. Obama called for a "new beginning" in relations between the United States and Islamic civilization.  He praised Islam's commitment to "peace," "justice" and "religious tolerance."  He listed the Muslim world's supposed contributions to history — algebra, the compass and the printing press, among others.  There is only one problem:  It is all false. ... What's next:  Islam invented the Internet?

Slapping a Friend.  [Scroll down]  All indications are that foreign policy is being made directly — and solely — in the White House.  And this president's foreign policy increasingly seems predicated on America's turning its back on its most reliable traditional allies.  Like Britain and Israel — both of which have long been viewed as having a "special relationship" with Washington.

Obama to Jews: I'm Just Not That Into You.  It is time for American Jews to leave the Democratic Party, to see reality as it is and not how they wish it to be.  To be a Jew in this world is dangerous ...and our president and his party are deliberately making it more so (even serial Obama apologist Susan Estrich is "not completely certain... where this president will stand in a crisis" involving Jews).

Obama's losing streak and us.  Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu's speech Sunday evening at Bar-Ilan University had one goal:  To get US President Barack Obama off of Israel's back.  Netanyahu's speech was an eloquent, rational and at times impassioned defense of Israel.

Obama's Iran Blunder.  On its current course, the Middle East is headed for nuclear war.  The only question is whether someone will act to take history off that course.  That won't be the left wing extremist/narcissist we now have in the White House, who is lost in his own dream world.

Explaining Obama: Our First Islamist President?  At some point, it seems fair to ask why Obama is taking this approach.  There is more and more evidence to suggest that, alone among the non-lunatic nations of the world (North Korea thereby excepted), Obama has problems with only one:  Israel.  Obama has for all practical purposes, become the salesman for the Saudi "peace plan", designed to drive Israel back to the pre 67 war borders.  As for the Iranian nuclear threat to Israel (and others), the Obama approach can best be described as "not a problem", or "mañana".

Obama's deadly hand revealed.  Among American Jews, a degree of buyers' remorse has been detected recently.  Almost 80 percent of American Jews voted for Barack Obama as President.  Those of us who warned that this man would endanger Israel were scorned.  How could that possibly be, said the secular, liberal American Jews.  He's a Democrat, he's black and he's pro-abortion.  With this triple-lock of unassailable virtue, how can he be bad for Israel?  Now some of them are getting an awful feeling that they may have made the biggest misjudgment of their lives.

Barack Obama vs international law:  By characterizing its demand that Israel prohibit Jews from building homes in Israel's capital city and its heartland as a legal requirement, the Obama administration portrays Israel as an international outlaw.

Jeremiah Wright Foreign Policy:  Anyone familiar with the views of Barack Obama's pastor of twenty years might wonder if Reverend Jeremiah Wright is the chief inspiration behind the president's foreign policy. ... It is understandable that after sitting through 20 years of sermons delivered by the pastor Barack Obama considered his spiritual mentor that Jeremiah Wright's politics would heavily influence Obama's worldview of the U.S. and Israel.  It is unfortunate that they do.

Has Obama Turned on Israel?  Many American supporters of Israel who voted for Barack Obama now suspect they may have been victims of a bait and switch.  Jewish Americans voted overwhelmingly for Mr. Obama over John McCain in part because the Obama campaign went to great lengths to assure these voters that a President Obama would be supportive of Israel.  This despite his friendships with rabidly anti-Israel characters like Rev. Jeremiah Wright and historian Rashid Khalidi.

Has Barack Obama become the bane of Israeli Jews?  He swept to power with the support of 78% of American Jews.  But has Barack Obama become the bane of Israeli Jews?  A gulf between American and Israeli Jews was evident even before Obama moved into the White House.  Just a third of Israelis would have endorsed him had they been allowed to vote, polling indicated, while almost half would have chosen John McCain.

Obama's Attraction to Human Rights Violators.  With each fist bump from Hugo Chavez, Team Medvedev/Putin, Kim Jong-Il and Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, one would expect that Obama would learn to close his open palm and offer up the tough policy that he promised would appear.  Yet the only world leader who has seen Obama's stick wielding, clenched fist is Israeli Prime Minister, Benyamin Netanyahu.

Avoiding an American ambush.  The basic reality that the US is being led by a radical ideologue who clings to his views in the face of overwhelming proof of their falsity is the most fundamental fact that world leaders must reckon with today as they formulate policies to contend with the Obama administration.  This is first and foremost the case for Israel.

The Turn Against Israel:  Obama's notion that presidents before him have not been "as honest as we should be" about the settlements [between the Jordan River and the Mediterranean Sea] is a peculiar one.  Every occupant of the Oval Office since Richard Nixon has spoken unfavorably about them.  The turn against Israel that so many predicted during the 2008 campaign is coming to pass — with a smile, and a nod, and an invocation of a word that actually means something very different from friendship.  It might even mean its opposite.

'Them Jews' of Obama:  From Kvell to Kvetch.  "Them Jews aren't going to let him talk to me."  That's the complaint of Rev. Jeremiah Wright, the anti-Semitic, radical minister who was Barack Obama's spiritual mentor for two decades. ... "Them Jews" around Obama have been the object of much attention, especially eliciting the adoration of secular Jewish liberals who comprise roughly half of the American Jewish community of five million. ... But pride has turned to alarm as even some liberal American Jews are getting it:  the Obama administration, including "them Jews," is uniquely hostile to Israel.

Did someone mention "Reverend" Jeremiah Wright?

The case against Obama:  Prior to the election, many traditional Jewish supporters of the Democratic Party were apprehensive of Barack Obama's initially negative attitude to Israel and his troubling association with people like PLO ideologue Rashid Khalidi and the anti-Semitic Rev. Jeremiah Wright.  However after aggressively repudiating his earlier policies, Obama convinced most Jews that he would never abandon the Jewish state.  Alas, recent developments suggest otherwise. ... If one probes beneath the veneer of bonhomie and analyzes the substance of his policies, they reflect an unprecedented downturn in relations towards Israel with hints of worse to come.

Black president demanding segregation in Jerusalem.  Late last week, the Obama administration demanded that the Israeli government pull the plug on a planned housing development near the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood of Jerusalem.  The project, a 20-unit apartment complex, is indisputably legal.  The property to be developed — a defunct hotel — was purchased in 1985, and the developer has obtained all the necessary municipal permits.  Why, then, does the administration want the development killed?

Obama's real agenda:  President Barack Obama last Monday [7/13/2009] met for the first time with leaders of selected Jewish organizations and leaks from the meeting now make one thing very clear.  The only free country in the Middle East no longer has a friend in the leader of the free world.  Obama is the most hostile sitting American president in the history of the state of Israel.

National Jewish Leader Turns against Obama.  A huge crack has surfaced in Obama's Jewish base in the person of Alan Solow, one of the president's closest Chicago friends and long-time supporters.

The President Takes a Hard Line on Israel.  In foreign policy, President Barack Obama has demonstrated a disturbing propensity to curry favor with our adversaries at the expense of our friends.  The Czechs and Poles are rightly concerned that they will be sacrificed on the altar of better U.S. relations with Russia.  And the Israelis fear that the Obama administration's desired opening to the Muslim world will be achieved at their expense.  Mr. Obama's attempted bullying of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is a case in point.

Obama honors an enemy of Israel.  Barack Obama today [7/30/2009] announced that he is presenting the Medal of Freedom to Mary Robinson.  So who is Mary Robinson?  An enemy of Israel to begin, and the host and mastermind of the first Durban conference.

Anti-Obama Rally in Jerusalem.  For the first time in years, the nationalist camp will hold a large scale rally against United States policies vis-à-vis Israel.  The protest will be held in downtown Jerusalem, on Agron St. on Monday evening [7/27/2009]...

Settler rally:  Obama racist; his regime will fall.  "(US President Barack) Obama is a racist," said Rabbi Eliezer Waldman, the head of the "Nir" yeshiva in the West Bank town of Kiryat Arba.  Waldman was speaking during a mass rally held Monday evening [7/27/2009] at Jerusalem's Paris Square in protest of the American demand that Israel halt all construction in the West Bank and east Jerusalem.

Why Israel Is Nervous:  Tension is escalating between the U.S and Israel.  The problem:  The administration views the Israeli-Palestinian issue as the root of all problems, while Israel is focused on Iran's nuclear threat.

Who really selected Mary Robinson for the Presidential Medal of Freedom?  President Barack Obama's decision to bestow the Presidential Medal of Freedom on Mary Robinson, who headed a United Nation Commission that condoned suicide bombing against Israelis and who also was in charge of the Durban Conference Against Racism that became an anti-Semitic hate-fest reminiscent of Nazi Germany (and that the Unites States and Israel boycotted, to Robinson's consternation), has elicited some measure of controversy.

Outcry over Obama's Medal of Freedom list.  A pro-Israel lobbying group says it is "deeply disappointed" with the White House over one of President Obama's picks to receive the Medal of Freedom.  In a statement, the American Israel Public Affairs Committee criticized the administration for naming former Irish President Mary Robinson as one of the 16 recipients of the presidential medal.

Why does Obama stick a finger in the eye of the Jewish community?  Is the honeymoon over between American Jews and Barack Obama over?  Not by a long shot, though there have been some ripples buffeting the relationship.  His approach toward Israel (hostile) and the wider Middle East (ineffectual at best; damaging at worst) has begun to affect his ratings among even Jewish Democrats.

Barack Obama is no friend of Israel.  The National Jewish Democratic Council (NJDC) recently criticized the Web site American Thinker in a Jerusalem Post op-ed entitled The chutzpah of Obama's Jewish critics for having a "fictional understanding" of Barack Obama's approach toward Israel.  This kind of attack is typical of the NJDC which maintains a "see no evil, hear no evil" approach toward the president on this and every other issue.  This willful blindness is both wrongheaded and a disservice to Jews who care about the fate of Israel.

Obama's Crusade Against Israel:  Opposed to the right of Jews to build in Jerusalem, Obama's administration can no longer be considered impartial, let alone friendly.  He's out to "liberate" the Holy Land.  Taking an extreme position — contrary to what Ambassador Michael Oren believes — is unprecedented.  No American president has made Israeli settlements the issue; nor has there been such an ignorance of the threats Israel faces and a willingness to jeopardize Israel's basic security interests.

Obama bulldozing Israel's future.  President Obama is demonstrating an alarming hostility toward the Jewish state and has gone out of his way to describe Israeli homes in Judea and Samaria and in parts of Jerusalem, as "illegitimate." ... The homes in question had been purchased decades ago by their Jewish residents who had subsequently been dispossessed of them by the Jordanian Arab occupiers after the 1948 Arab-Israel War.

Orly Taitz: Obama policies are 'clear and present danger to Israel'.  Speaking to Haaretz on Monday [8/17/2009], Taitz slammed what she calls Obama's support for Hamas, citing an executive order signed by the U.S. president shortly after taking office, which funneled $900 million to the Gaza Strip.  To Taitz, the executive order was a form of political subterfuge meant to prop up the enemies of the United States and Israel, in spite of widespread American Jewish support for the new president.  "During the campaign, Obama was telling American Jews that he is for Israel... but sure enough, just as he was elected, look at his first actions, he issued an executive order to give $900 million to Gaza with no preconditions."

Obama and the Holy Land:  In June 2009, in a speech in Cairo, President Barack Obama announced a historic American tilt toward the Arab and Muslim worlds. It is too early to tell if he, unlike his predecessors, believes in what has been known as the special relationship between America and Israel, However, most of his fellow Americans still believe in it.

Democratic Congressman:  Obama demand for settlement freeze 'mistaken'.  The chairman of the U.S. House of Representatives Foreign Affairs Committee said last week that the Obama administration is making a mistake in demanding Israel completely freeze construction in the settlements.

There may be worse to come.  President Obama's naïve efforts to appease the Arabs by bullying and distancing the United States from Israel has backfired.  However despite increasing unease extending to some of Obama's most fervent supporters, the administration has yet to signal any change in policy.

Obama Is Pushing Israel Toward War.  Events are fast pushing Israel toward a pre-emptive military strike on Iran's nuclear facilities, probably by next spring. That strike could well fail.  Or it could succeed at the price of oil at $300 a barrel, a Middle East war, and American servicemen caught in between.  So why is the Obama administration doing everything it can to speed the war process along?

Brezinski Calls for Obama to Shoot Down Israeli Jets.  In a little noticed interview with the Daily Beast (presumably little noticed because serious people don't read the Daily Beast), Zbigniew Brzezinski suggests that Barack Obama do more than just refuse to support an Israeli strike on Iran's nuclear sites — the American president must give the order to shoot down Israeli aircraft as they cross Iraqi airspace.

The Camp David Syndrome.  President Obama has just announced the latest effort toward crafting a Middle East Peace Settlement.  That grand-sounding title is Beltway-speak for "let's lean on Israel to gain some street cred with the Euros." He's chosen Hillary Clinton as his negotiator.

The Ugly American.  If we have a pure ally in the world today, it is Israel.  America, like Israel and like every sane leader of every free nation, does not want Iran to get nuclear weapons.  So when Israel suggests that it may undertake, alone, the burden of all free nations — taking out Iran's nuclear capacity — Obama's advisors warn that if the Israeli Defense Force flies over Iraq without our consent, our air forces will shoot down the Israeli warplanes.

Dismantling America:  Part II.  Barack Obama has made every mistake that was made by the Western democracies in the 1930s, mistakes that put Hitler in a position to start World War II — and come dangerously close to winning it.  At the heart of those mistakes was trying to mollify your enemies by throwing your friends to the wolves.  The Obama administration has already done that by reneging on this country's commitment to put a missile defense shield in Eastern Europe and by its lackadaisical foot-dragging on doing anything serious to stop Iran from getting nuclear weapons.  That means, for all practical purposes, throwing Israel to the wolves as well.

Breaking promises and betraying an ally at the U.N..  The American Ambassador to the United Nations, Susan Rice, lobbied for the United States to join the egregious United Nations Human Rights Council — a body dedicated to bashing America and Israel and shielding the true human rights violators around the world (many of whom have sat as members of the Council for years).

Nature abhors a vacuum.  Bill Clinton is in Jerusalem trying to clean up behind President Obama and Hillary, whose strident anti-settlement policy has blown up in their face.  Clinton's comments are significant only because they show what a shambles the administration's Middle East policy has become.

A Black Pastor Speaks Out on President Obama's Past.  [Scroll down]  First, the President was taught for twenty years by a virulent anti-Semite, the Reverend Jeremiah Wright.  In the black community it is called "sitting under".  You don't merely attend a church, you "sit under" a Pastor to be taught and mentored by him.  Obama "sat under" Wright for a very long time.  He was comfortable enough with Farrakhan and Wright's friend to attend and help organize his "Million Man March".  I was on C-Span the morning of the march arguing that we must never legitimize a racist and anti-Semite, no matter what "good" he claims to be doing.  Yet a future President was in the crowd giving Farrakhan his enthusiastic support.

Obama's Landscape of Anti-Semitism.  Obama had a disturbing track record from the beginning.  The Obama landscape, the landscape of his personal and professional associations, is littered with anti-Semites and rife with Israel haters.  Only three weeks after Barack Hussein Obama took office, Israeli pundit Caroline Glick noted that "since it came into office a month ago, every single Middle East policy the Obama administration has announced has been antithetical to Israel's national security interests."

Does the Media Misrepresent Obama When It Comes to Israel.  If Obama were truly interested in "change," he would encourage the Palestinian Arabs to accept and live in peace with their Jewish neighbors.  He would stop pushing Israel and start pushing the Palestinian Authority to take concrete steps towards ending its war against Israel and the Jewish people.

Obama to Israel:  'Drop Dead'.  Sadly, Democrats seem to care far more about passing health care legislation this week than protecting the U.S.-Israel relationship from Obama's assault.  It's apparent that indifference of (if not hostility to) Israel's survival is at work.

Obama has crossed the line.  Recent hostile outbursts by the US gov't must be viewed in the context that the US-Israel relationship has been on a downward spiral since Obama.

The Subtext of the Obama-Israel Dispute:  By trying to limit Jewish residency in Jerusalem, President Obama plays into this de-Judification of Jerusalem and poses a threat to both Judaism and Christianity.

Obama Heads the Most Anti-Israel Administration in U.S. History.  With its diplomatic assaults on just about everything the Israeli government does, the Obama administration is establishing itself as the most anti-Israel administration in U.S. history.  I have talked to foreign policy experts in Washington, D.C. and Israel today and they are using adjectives like "bizarre," "inexplicable," "counterproductive," and "outrageous" to describe President Obama's diplomatic jihad against Israel.

Obama has crossed the line.  Recent hostile outbursts by the US gov't must be viewed in the context that the US-Israel relationship has been on a downward spiral since Obama.

Breaking with Israel:  Who will trust America now?  We've been viewed as a fickle (if mighty) partner at least since the 1970s, when we abruptly dumped allies from Saigon to Tehran.  Now the White House not only delights in insulting our closest traditional ally, Britain, but has intensified its diplomatic pogrom against Israel — our only respectable ally in the Middle East.

'Don't count on Jewish Obama voters'.  US President Barack Obama harbors anti-Semitism and the American Jews who voted for him are not pro-Israel, Dr. Hagi Ben-Artzi, the outspoken brother-in-law of Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, said on Wednesday [3/17/2010].  In an interview with The Jerusalem Post, Ben-Artzi said it was no coincidence that the 78 percent of American Jews who voted for Obama was roughly the same percentage of Jews in the US who do not give their children a Jewish education.

Israel's New Enemy:  America?  Despite Vice President Joe Biden's recent pledge of unswerving fidelity to Israel during his recent visit there, the rhetoric and pressure directed by the Obama administration against the only fully functioning democracy in the Middle East more accurately resembles the behavior of an enemy.

Netanyahu's brother-in-law:  Obama is an anti-Semite.  Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's brother-in-law Dr. Hagai Ben-Artzi on Wednesday called U.S. President Barack Obama an anti-Semite in an interview with Army Radio.  "It's not that Obama doesn't like Bibi," he referring to Netanyahu using his nickname.  "He doesn't like the nation of Israel."

The Administration's Manufactured, Trumped Up Fight With Israel.  For those who say Obama has achieved nothing, I think the appropriate response is that he's destroyed the political career of Hillary Clinton, succeeded in driving more Jews from his party to which they'd so long been loyal and managed to offend all our allies.  You think that's easy?  It takes a special kind of stupid.

Switching Sides.  In a stunning and historic reversal of American foreign policy, the United States is now backing one of the same horses it fought during World War II.  Instead of fighting against Nazism and racism, Obama has effectively joined the jihad waged during World War II by the Mufti of Jerusalem, Haj Amin al-Husseini.

How Obama Is Turning America against Israel:  At best, Barack Obama committed the latest big mistake in his conduct of foreign policy last week.  At worst, the president carried out a deliberate operation intended to weaken the U.S.-Israel relationship and turn the public against the Jewish State.

Obama's War Against Israel.  The tension between the two governments is being stoked by President Barack Obama and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton in a deliberate attempt to weaken the coalition of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Why Does Obama Want an Israel Crisis?  [Scroll down]  So why this astonishing one-sidedness? ... Is it because Obama fancies himself the historic redeemer whose irresistible charisma will heal the breach between Christianity and Islam or, if you will, between the post-imperial West and the Muslim world — and has little patience for this pesky Jewish state that brazenly insists on its right to exist, and even more brazenly on permitting Jews to live in its own ancient, historical and now present capital?

Barack Obama treats Israel and Britain with sneering contempt.  Perhaps only one thing is certain about the course of the Obama administration's ham-fisted foreign policy — there is no depth to which it will not stoop to kick America's allies in the teeth while cuddling up to her enemies.  In the past month we've seen ample evidence of this with the State Department's appalling decision to openly side with Argentina against Great Britain over the Falklands, and the White House's bullying of Israel.

Silence that speaks volumes:  blackout as Israel's leader leaves White House.  Two separate meetings between President Obama and Binyamin Netanyahu, the Israeli Prime Minister, failed to produce so much as an official photograph as a chill settled over US-Israeli relations and secrecy shrouded any efforts to repair them.

Bam's triple-diplo-whammy day.  Wednesday, March 24, 2010, was the worst day for US diplomacy in recent memory.  Between sunrise and sunset, we 1) handled our Israeli allies as enemies, 2) treated Pakistani gangsters as our benefactors and 3) got blindsided — brilliantly — by the Russians.

No Denying White House Animus Toward Israel.  This is not the first president to dislike an Israeli prime minister or even Israel itself.  The elder George Bush and his secretary of state, [James Baker] despised Yitzhak Shamir.  But never has the leader of America's ally Israel been treated with such open contempt as shown by Obama to Netanyahu.  The Israeli's visit to the White House was closed to the press — with not even one photo released of their encounter.

Obama's Disgraceful Conduct Toward Israel.  [Scroll down]  The pressures Obama directed at Netanyahu were severe, in one account even inducing a "panic" reaction in the Israeli leader.  The total media blackout that accompanied their meeting led the Washington Post's Jackson Diehl to comment that "Netanyahu is being treated as if he were an unsavory Third World dictator, needed for strategic reasons but conspicuously held at arm's length."

Bum's Rush for Bibi.  Judging by his actions to date, President Obama appears to have an almost visceral antipathy toward Israel.  He's happy to bow and scrape to Saudi King Abdullah, to have photo ops with Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez, and, as he made clear during the campaign, would even open his door to Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and Korean leader Kim Jong Il if only they would deign to sit down for a chat.  But Obama gave Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu the bum's rush on his recent visit to Washington.  No photo ops, no joint press conference, no diplomatic niceties whatsoever.

The Editor asks...
 Would a Christian act that way?  No.  Would a Muslim act that way?  Absolutely.  Does anyone still believe Obama's claim to be a Christian?

Obama fools nine percent of Israeli Jews.  Only 9 percent of Israeli Jews believe that President Obama is pro-Israel, according to a poll taken by Smith Research on behalf of the Jerusalem Post.  48 percent said that the Obama favors the Palestinian side, while 30 percent said his administration is neutral.  The remaining 13 percent expressed no opinion.

Why wasn't Obama photographed with Netanyahu?.  The White House has waved off suggestions that President Barak Obama was "embarrassed" to be photographed with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, amid questions over the minimal media coverage of their meeting in Washington this week.

Post poll:  Obama still in single digits.  Just 9 percent of Jewish Israelis think US President Barack Obama's administration is more pro-Israel than pro-Palestinian, according to a Smith Research poll taken this week on behalf of The Jerusalem Post.

Obama demands Netanyahu's peace answers by Saturday.  Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu will convene his senior ministers on Friday to discuss the demands made by US President Barack Obama and his overall trip to Washington — a trip that, because of negative atmospherics and amid a paucity of hard information, has been widely characterized as among the most difficult in recent memory.

New World's Record for Chutzpah:  Obama's Seder.  After a week spent beating up on Israel, blowing a minor gaffe into an international incident, subjecting Israel's prime minister to unprecedented insults that Obama would never think of trying on even the most humble Third World leader, and establishing the principle that the Jewish presence in eastern Jerusalem — even in existing Jewish neighborhoods — is illegal and an affront to American interests — after all that, Obama plans on spending Monday night mouthing a few lines from the Passover Haggadah at a Seder held in the White House.

Obama And Israel:  The Trust Is Gone.  I consider the Obama administration's recent actions against the Israeli government to be outrageous and a breach of trust.

Passover Mush.  Obama, as presidents have traditionally done, released a Passover message.  It is typical Obama — off-key, hyper-political, and condescending.

What Makes This President Different from All Other Presidents?  This year, along with the conventional four questions of the Passover Seder, some Americans are starting ask themselves:  "Why is this president different from all other presidents?"  The answer is that Barack Obama has now established opposition to Israel's hold on its capital as a cornerstone of American Middle East policy in a way that is completely new as well as dangerous.

337 House members sign letter criticizing Obama's Israel policy.  It seems that the only thing that Republicans and Democrats in Congress agree on right now is that the administration's aggressive posture toward Israel isn't helpful.

An Open Letter to the Evil Tyrants in Washington.  [Scroll down slowly]  As for you, Mr. Obama, you have, to our utter disgust, shamefully treated our closest allies, but like a detestable serf, you have bowed to the enemies of America.  Your treatment of Israel and Prime Minister Netanyahu is despicable...

Confronting Obama's Messiah complex.  Seemingly intoxicated by Congress's endorsement of his health care legislation, President Barack Obama appears to have been overcome by a Messiah complex.  His actions relating to the Middle East during recent weeks oblige us to face realities about our "unshakable" alliance with the United States.

Obama's Two-State Delusion.  Let there be no mistake:  President Obama's attack on Israel's right to govern in eastern Jerusalem has nothing to do with American national interests, and nothing to do with a "peace process."  Other American leaders may have disagreed with Israeli policy, but none of them made it a casus belli.  No other prominent politician sought to impose the "two-state solution," based on 60-year-old cease-fire lines with Jordan, instead of a negotiated agreement.

Target Israel.  [Scroll down]  As to what is motivating the Obama Administration's war against Israel, a number of possibilities have been suggested.  Some have pointed out the president's long association with people who harbor, and peddle, deep enmity towards Israel, including Bill Ayres, Reverend Wright, Rashid Khalidi, Samantha Power and others.  It is suggested that he shares much of these associates' world view, including their attitude towards the Jewish state.

You can fool most American Jewish leaders nearly all of the time.  The Jerusalem Post reports that Dan Shapiro, the U.S. National Security Council's top Middle East adviser, conducted a conference call with American Jewish leaders on Friday to reassure them about the White House's intentions towards Israel.  In what I take to be his only honest utterance[,] Shapiro said that a "resolution" of the episode is close.  The resolution, I assume, will be concessions by Netanyahu.  The rest of Shapiro's reported remarks are so ridiculous that even the American Jewish leaders apparently weren't buying them.

Obama's Diplomatic War on Israel Is Just Getting Started.  Some may have thought that Obama's rage at Netanyahu and the histrionics that the president and his staff have engaged in during the last month was just a passing phase, to be forgotten as they moved on to other issues.  But apparently, Obama's anger at Israel and his desire to bring down Bibi and to force the Jewish state to surrender on Jerusalem has not diminished.

Does Obama Want Israel to Sign a Suicide Pact?  President Obama is often said to be pursuing a Wilsonian line in foreign policy.  Wilson wanted, ineffectually, "to make the world safe for democracy."  Is Obama trying to make the world safe for Islam?

A Friend Betrayed.  Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has decided not to attend President Obama's nuclear security summit.  He's worried his nation of 7 million will be ganged up on.  Is this how we treat friends?

How Bad Can It Get?  The Obama administration has embarked on an assault on our ally Israel that can no longer be chalked up to a minor gaffe or a misunderstanding.  The Obami have been unrelenting and consistently hostile toward the Jewish state.

Surrendering an ally is no strategy at all.  Barack Obama has come up with an interesting strategy for dealing with the evildoers of the world.  If you can't beat 'em, join 'em.  Surrender your friends, if necessary.  He wants to make Israel, our oldest and only reliable friend in the Middle East, the guinea pig to see whether the strategy works.

Obama's Israel Problem.  Barack Obama has an Israel problem.  I won't say a Jewish problem, because that wouldn't be "politically correct." ... Until now Jewish leaders had been relatively silent on the matter.  Some of the more famous ones in my hometown of Hollywood (Steven Spielberg, Barbra Streisand, David Geffen — supposedly great friends of Israel) have been as quiet as clams.

Silent signals:  There is great power in the non-verbal message. ... Take for instance Obama wordlessly bowing to despots and dictators and doing so while snubbing America's greatest ally, Israel.  The President even allowed the soles of his shoes to be photographed while conversing with Bibi Netanyahu on the phone.  In Muslim culture "to have the sole of the shoe directed toward one is pretty much the equivalent of someone in our culture giving you the finger."

Barack Hussein Obama vs. Israel.  A full six months before Barack Hussein Obama's Cairo speech, I reported on an interview I had with a high ranking member of the intelligence community who stated that the Obama administration would turn against Israel.  That retiring member of the intelligence community laid it all out during our interview, stating that not only would the Obama administration abandon Israel, but the U.S., at the direction of Obama, would turn against the very nation with which we have long shared the core values of western democracy.

Obama's 5 Big Lies About Israel.  In preparation for his attempt to impose a final solution on Israel, Obama is spreading a variety of lies through the media and his spokesmen about Israel.  And by exposing those lies, we can best get at the truth.

Is Obama Winning His War on Jerusalem?  The Israeli government is walking a fine line as it tries holding out against the Obama administration's demand for a building freeze while simultaneously fending off charges that it is not interested in making peace with the Palestinians.  The predictable result is confusion.

O, Such Sad Deception.  [Scroll down]  Like the Jews of Goray, those people who voted for Obama are going to have their world turn over 180 degrees.  I fear for their faith in Obama.  He is not an honest broker.  He misleads and uses the ancient Roman trick of "bread and circuses."  Interesting is the fact that this allegedly transparent leader has not held a press conference in months.  Obama's angry and contemptible behavior against allies is revealing.  His mercurial nature has Americans spinning; it takes incredible energy to keep up with his poisonous prevarications.

Obama's Ostrich Strategy.  If the entire situation weren't so serious, the White House's concerted effort in seeking to condemn Israel as an irresponsible bully would be laughable.  The Obama portrait of a big bad Israel is supposed to show the Muslim countries of the Middle East that Washington is now truly even-handed.

Poll:  Obama has Lost Almost Half of his US Jewish Support.  United States President Barack Obama has lost nearly half of his support among American Jews, a poll by the McLaughlin Group has shown.  The US Jews polled were asked whether they would:  (a) vote to re-elect Obama, or (b) consider voting for someone else.  42% said they would vote for Obama and 46%, a plurality, preferred the second answer.  12% said they did not know or refused to answer.

Obama to Abbas:  I am committed to creation of Palestinian state.  U.S. President Barack Obama on Tuesday [5/11/2010] pledged commitment to the establishment of a sovereign Palestinian state and vowed to hold both Israel and the Palestinians accountable if either side takes actions that "undermine trust" during U.S.-mediated talks launched this week.

Jewish Donors Outraged by 'Sociopath' Obama, Says Columnist.  If senior journalist David Goldman is right, the correct word for describing the way a growing number of US Jews feel about President Barack Obama is not 'anger' but 'rage' — white-hot rage, at that, and a conviction that they have been swindled.

America Needs to Stand with Israel Now.  [Scroll down]  When the ship was ultimately secured, the Jerusalem Post reported that Israeli Defense officials "identified about 50 passengers on the ship who could have terrorist connections with global jihad-affiliated groups.  The military also discovered a cache of bulletproof vests and night-vision goggles, as well as gas masks."  They also report that the suspected terror suspects "refused to identify themselves and were not carrying passports.  Many of them were carrying envelopes packed with thousands of dollars in cash."  Yet, despite these facts, the Obama Administration has decided to remain on the sidelines and leave Israel to face the world alone, effectively abandoning our longtime friend and ally when they need us the most.

Anti-Israel sharks sniff O's weakness.  In the aftermath of the Gaza flotilla fiasco, the air is thick with nonsense.  Chief among the instant myths is that Israel has created a dilemma for President Obama.  Actually, it's the other way around.

Joining the Jackals:  The Obama administration abandons Israel.  At the United Nations, a lynch mob for Israel is always just a moment away.  The Islamic countries are a reliable source of venom, led by the Arab bloc; what we used to call the "non-aligned" are all aligned against Israel and happy to join the fun; and the Europeans can be counted on for hand-wringing rather than staunch resistance.  Only the United States, and a few brave allies like Canada and Australia, can be counted upon to oppose diplomatic lynchings year after year; and only the United States can stop them in the Security Council.

U.S. Interferes With Israel's Gaza Blockade.  The Obama administration is pushing for an internationalized investigation of Israel's recent effort to preserve its naval blockade of Hamas-run Gaza.  In an extraordinary interference with the sovereignty of a democratic society and its right of self-defense, Secretary of State Hilary Clinton said Wednesday [6/2/2010] that the United States wants "a prompt, impartial, credible and transparent investigation..."

Helen Thomas' words, Barack Obama's policy.  Most Americans are outraged at Helen Thomas' culturally and ethnically based anti-semitic biases, said with seemingly complete sobriety and coherence this past week to a rolling video camera.  But if Americans are honest, they would have to admit that the current administration's policies, positions, and preferences towards Israel come scarily close to agreement with the disgraced columnist for Hearst newspapers.  This is particularly so in recent weeks.

Open Season On The Jewish State.  Of all the ironies of the Obama presidency, the strangest is now unfolding:  The election to purge American racism somehow lowered the bar for anti-Semitism.

An Open Letter to Jewish American Liberals.  In case you hadn't noticed, the "chickens" of Barack Hussein Obama's Muslim "outreach" efforts are "coming home to roost."  Israel's determination to prevent the free flow of goods to its mortal enemies has been "condemned," and declared "unsustainable and unacceptable" by this administration.  Obama's friends, Weather Underground terrorists Bill Ayers and Bernadette Dohrn, (a poisonous relationship virtually ignored by the mainstream media during the 2008 election) have been directly involved with the organizers of the [so-called] Freedom Flotilla.  And at a time when Israel needs unambiguous support in world where their very right to survive is being challenged, Democrats have decided that America's policy towards Gaza requires a "change" in thinking.  What in the world happened?  Modern-day liberalism happened, and if you have an ounce of desire to see the state of Israel survive, it's about time liberal Jews snapped out of their ideological coma.

Obama's Israel Doctrine.  Iran is on the brink of having nuclear weapons, and enemies of the Jews have gotten the message that if they attack Israel, this president will do nothing about it.  Relations between Israel and the U.S. are the most strained they've ever been, and they will remain tense until Obama is voted out of office.  His foreign policy doctrine toward Israel boils down to four words:  He doesn't like them.

Obama's outlook probably has a lot to do with his 20 years at the TUCC.

Phony friends of Israel.  Congressional Democrats say they want to defend Israel — but without taking on Israel's enemies.  Bizarre choice — so bizarre as to make their professed support for Israel practically meaningless.

Behind The White House's Anti-Israel Agenda.  In another affront to a key ally, the White House reportedly doesn't buy Israel's story over the Gaza flotilla flap and supports a U.N. probe of its actions.  Helen Thomas would be proud.

Lights in the gathering darkness.  There are people around the world who fully understand the astonishing and appalling end game that is now being played with the lynching of Israel — with the American President having given the signal for the onslaught.

Obama and the Rising Mob Against Israel.  The Middle East is now teetering on the brink of war because a vast international mob has been unloosed, with the tacit approval of Barack Hussein Obama. ... Barack Hussein Obama is now playing the biggest role in the mob psychology of the Middle East.  Why?  Because he is the authority figure who has given the signal that it's okay to attack Israel.

Obama and the War against Israel.  If President Obama had been trying to undermine Israel's security — and ours — he could hardly have done a better job.

Dear Mr. President...  You will be the first American president that lied to the Jewish people, and the American people as well, when you said that you would defend Israel, the only Democratic state in the Middle East, against all their enemies.  You have done just the opposite.  You have propagandized Israel, until they look like they are everyone's enemy — and it has resonated throughout the world.  You are putting Israel in harm's way, and you have promoted anti-Semitism throughout the world.

Obama and the War Against the Jews.  As Iran races virtually unimpeded toward a nuclear weapon, the Obama administration scolds Israel for daring to build new houses in its capital of Jerusalem.  While Hamas, aided by Turkish jihadists, arms for a new war against Israel, the White House demands that Israel exercise a suicidal restraint.  As Israel becomes ever more isolated, the Obama administration continues to reach out to its enemies in the Arab and Muslim world.

Why Israelis distrust Obama.  [Scroll down]  Of course, there might be other reasons why Israelis and their supporters view Obama with suspicion.  Such as:  His public humiliation last March of Bejamin Netanyahu at the White House, when Obama walked out of their talks to go have dinner with his family, leaving Israel's prime minister alone for over an hour, and then refused to release even a photo of their meeting.

Why Jews are Deserting Obama and the Democrats.  One little-noticed trend that speaks volumes:  the decline in Democratic Party identification and support for Barack Obama from American Jews, once among their most reliable and enthusiastic backers.  There has been a steady drip-drip-drip of Jews leaving the Democratic Party, most recently noted by the Pew Research Center.
