Is Obama a Christian?

Mr. Obama claims to be a Christian, but he supports unlimited abortion* on demand, as well as special rights and privileges for homosexuals.*  The Bible makes it very clear that Christianity is incompatible with both abortion and homosexuality.

On a separate page, I provide abundant evidence that Mr. Obama is a habitual liar.

Barack Obama's web site says that he "is a committed Christian."  So it is only natural to wonder:  Where does Senator Obama go to church, now that he has split with the TUCC?  The answer is obvious:  Barack Obama claims to be a Christian, but he does not go to church.

Quoting from an article in Newsweek:  "After he began his run for the U.S. Senate, he says, the family sometimes didn't go to Trinity for months at a time.  The girls have not attended Sunday school."  As far as I can tell, he has attended a church service only one time since leaving the TUCC.  Is that the behavior of a "committed Christian?"

Bob Jones III has doubts about Obama's credentials as a Christian.
Bob Jones III Unplugged.  "I have a great distrust for him," he said.  "I think he's moving this country in a socialist direction as fast as he can...  His whole background to me is colored with suspicion."  Asked whether he doubts Obama's identity as a Christian, he added, "I've no reason to think he's a Christian...  Anyone can say he's a Christian.  Some people will say whatever they think the politically helpful thing would be.  I say, 'Where is the evidence that he is a Christian?'"

Obama's holy war.  Mr. Obama has a well-earned image problem in the faith community.  According to Gallup, his approval rating among those who attend services tracks eight points lower than among those who attend seldom or never.  Government actions justify concern that the Obama administration is seeking to tear down the wall of separation protecting the church from the state.

Steyn: Religion questions in GOP debates an effort to 'embarrass' candidates.  [National Review columnist Mark] Steyn said this was particularly true since the bizarre answers the current commander-in-chief, President Barack Obama, gave during his 2008 campaign involving his interpretation of what constitutes sin.  "I mean, you could go back to Obama's thing," he continued.  "Obama gave the most ludicrous answer to that when he said his definition of sin was out of being out of alignment with my values, as he put it — quote, 'my values.'  In other words, Barack Obama worships at the first church of himself.

Affadavit of Bishop Ron McRae:  [Scroll down to page 3]  Additionally, it is common knowledge throughout both the Christian and Muslim communities in Kenya, that contrary to news media propagandas here in the United States, US Senator Barack Hussein Obama is a Muslim and not a Christian, and that he was born in Mombassa, Kenya and not in the state of Hawaii as falsely purported by the Obama campaign for presidency of the United States.  Mr. Obama's cousin [Raila Odinga] ran his failed campaign for the Kenyan presidency in the identical fashion of Senator Obama's American campaign strategy, and that being to join a nominal Christian church in order to publicly profess to be a Christian, while maintaining their actual Muslim beliefs, in order to sway public opinion away from the actual fact of his strong Muslim beliefs, family and goals.

God and Barack Obama.  The Obama girls have never attended Sunday school — a definite contrast with most White House children.  Even wayward president's kids like Ron Reagan, a proud atheist, was taken to church every Sunday.  Obama explains of his daughters' religious education:  "I'm a big believer in a faith that is not imposed but taps into what's already there, their curiosity of spirit."  Once Obama ran for the U.S. Senate, he skipped church for months at a time.  Now that he publicly parted ways with Reverend Wright, reports Newsweek with a gentle wink, "Obama is a little spiritually rootless again."

Obama's Views Not Consistent With Christianity, Conservative Says.  Americans should question Sen. Barack Obama's (D-Ill.) commitment to Christianity based on his "disregard" for unborn life, well-known black conservative author and activist Star Parker said.  "Based on his disregard and disrespect for human life, we should question his insistence that he's a Christian.  It is inconsistent with the biblical world view to think that not only is abortion okay, but he goes so far as to support partial-birth abortion," Parker told CNSNews.com in an interview.

The Unitarian Church and Obama's Religious Upbringing.  Obama hid his Unitarian connections during the campaign.  In a 2006 speech, Obama explained:  "I was not raised in a particularly religious household, as undoubtedly many in the audience were.  My father, who returned to Kenya when I was just two, was born Muslim but as an adult became an atheist.  My mother, whose parents were non-practicing Baptists and Methodists, was probably one of the most spiritual people and kindest people I've ever known, but grew up with a healthy skepticism of organized religion herself.  As a consequence, so did I."

The Prophet Obama, Global Leader of Godless Leftism.  Obama believes in the god of Marx.  He believes, as well, that he is the great prophet of this secular religion.  People in less sophisticated areas of our nation may cling to the God of the Bible, but Obama, like other European Leftists, knows that Das Kapital is the only Holy Scripture which is eternally and immutably true.  Obama has studied the writings of fanatical monks like Saul Alinsky, and taken to heart their message of winning at all cost.

Obama's Religious Ruse: 'I've Always Been a Christian'.  Barack Obama insists that he is a "devout Christian" of "deep faith," and Big Media echoes his claim without question.  Even some critics hesitate to challenge the validity of that claim.  The ruse that he is a Christian must be exposed for what it really is:  Obama's cloak to conceal that he is a Marxist from a Muslim background, for which he holds widespread support in the Islamic world.  This series of three articles will analyze his exploitation of Christian rhetoric to serve the subterfuge.

Fully invested in your misery.  Obama seems happier these days.  It is almost as if the disembodied spirit of his mentor, Saul Alinsky, is watching and smiling.  Americans are suffering.  Losses in the stock market, panic in the financial market, pain at the gas pump and in the grocery — all these miseries of average Americans are a delicious narcotic to socialists like Barack Obama.  What was the historic maxim of the Left?  "The worse, the better."  Alinsky said that if there was an afterlife, "I will unreservedly choose to go to hell."  This is the man whose mind guides Obama's thoughts.

Obama:  Premature Babies Aren't People.  On the federal level a similar bill passed 98-0 garnering a yea vote from pro-abortion stalwart Barbara Boxer.  But back in Illinois, Barack Obama had problems with this type of legislation.  He spoke on the floor of the Illinois Senate in opposition to the Born Alive Infants Protection Act — in fact, he was the only senator to do so.  The following year he spoke against the born alive bill again.  As a rabid proponent of legalized abortion, Obama voted against the bill or worked for its defeat on three separate occasions.

Obama Lied About His Abortion Record.  The New York Sun reported that Obama's campaign has admitted that the senator voted against giving medical care to babies born alive after an abortion attempt — a fact that the campaign originally dismissed as a "smear."  The reality behind Obama's rhetoric is that he worked against efforts to ban the gruesome practice of leaving babies who survived failed abortions to die.

A Catholic Case Against Barack.  Thrice in the Illinois legislature, Obama helped block a bill that was designed solely to protect the life of infants already born, and outside the womb, who had miraculously survived the attempt to kill them during an abortion.  Thrice, Obama voted to let doctors and nurses allow these tiny human beings die of neglect and be tossed out with the medical waste.  How can a man who purports to be a Christian justify this?

Obama Lied About Abortion Record.  Newly discovered documents from the Illinois state archives prove Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama has lied about his opposition to legislation requiring health officials to provide care to babies who survived abortion as an Illinois state senator. … Now there's documentation showing Obama did vote against a version of the Born Alive Infant Protection Act that contained language to protect abortion rights identical to the bill that passed 98-0 in the U.S. Senate.

Influential Evangelical Lobby Attacks Obama's Christian Credentials.  [Scroll down]  Obama's progressivism, however, leads him to conclusions that are morally untenable, if not reprehensible, to Evangelicals and other traditionalist Christians.  He approves of same-sex romantic and sexual relationships, as do his church, his pastor and his denomination.  He supports abortion for any reason, by any method, at any stage of pregnancy including during the birth process.  In an E-mail under his wife Michelle's signature, his campaign for US Senate championed Roe v. Wade and partial-birth abortion.  In 2002 as an Illinois legislator, Obama even voted against the Induced Infant Liability Act, which would have protected babies that survived late-term abortion.

Obama's Stealth Pro-Abortion Stance:  In response to a Pennsylvania voter's question about elementary school sex education, Obama said:  "Look, I got two daughters — nine years old and six years old.  I am going to teach them first about values and morals, but if they make a mistake, I don't want them punished with a baby."  This makes two things clear.  First, Senator Obama supports abortion on demand — even "convenience" abortions — for minors, including his own daughters; and second, Obama considers babies a "punishment" he'd rather spare his daughters, even if those daughters have to abort Obama's own unborn grandchildren to avoid that particular "punishment."  That unguardedly candid public statement is political dynamite — or it would be, if the media had reported on it.

Obama's Christian Creds Vs. Abortion and Infanticide:  This, "I don't want them punished with a baby," is perhaps the most self-revelatory statement Barack Obama has uttered in public since he began his campaign for the Presidency. … Because it goes to the personal. It goes to the extent of wholehearted approval of killing one's own grandchildren if they happen to have been conceived inconveniently.

The Gospel According to Obama:  As the saying goes, faith without works is dead.  Obama's sanctimonious chatter about religion only underscores how little he understands about how those concepts are viewed by the most faith-conscious Americans, for whom actions will speak louder than words alone.

NARAL Pro-Choice Obama:  One reason that the national board of NARAL, the pro-abortion lobbying organization, endorsed Sen. Barack Obama, and encouraged its state membership to do the same, was a series of behind the scenes conversations between the Obama campaign and NARAL.  "The message was, get on board or risk losing influence," says an Obama strategist.  "We needed one of these [feminist or pro-abortion] groups to step up and walk away from Hillary.

Barack Obama, Man of Faith.  Obama the Christian is a devout believer in unlimited abortion rights.  He denies the existence of Hell.  He came to Christianity through social organizing with activist religious [people].  His devout Christianity derives from the secular humanist "values" his atheist mother imbued him with.  He believes, with all his heart, in the separation of church and state — except when he campaigns in black churches, in violation of that separation, and in violation of the tax code.  Obama wears his religion on his sleeve in black churches, but in dealing with the mainstream media, attacks the same behavior, at least as far as white, conservative Christians are concerned.

It's Barack, Like It or Not.  Republicans will be prepared to use Obama's history of uncompromising, extreme liberalism to undermine his claim to be a bipartisan uniter.  He'll have difficulty, for example, explaining away his radical and heartless position supporting partial-birth abortion and, some argue, even certain cases of infanticide.

Infanticide candidate for president.  On abortion, Obama is an extremist.  He has opposed the Supreme Court decision that finally upheld the Partial-Birth Abortion Ban Act against that form of infanticide.  Most startlingly, for a professed humanist, Obama — in the Illinois Senate — also voted against the Born Alive Infant Protection Act.  I have reported on several of those cases when, before the abortion was completed, an alive infant was suddenly in the room.  It was disposed of as a horrified nurse who was not necessarily pro-life followed the doctors' orders to put the baby in a pail or otherwise get rid of the child.

Obama:  The Sermon on the Mount Justifies Same-Sex Unions.  Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill.) told a crowd at Hocking College in Nelsonville, Ohio, Sunday that he believes the Sermon on the Mount justifies his support for legal recognition of same-sex unions.  He also told the crowd that his position in favor of legalized abortion does not make him "less Christian."

Obama's Bible Defense of Same-Sex Unions Wrong, Experts Say.  Kiera McCaffrey, director of communications for the Catholic League for Religious and Civil Rights, said it is a mistake for Obama to look to the Bible as a playbook for his political aspirations.  "It seems pretty bogus using (the Bible) to justify civil unions," McCaffrey told Cybercast News Service.  "He should be using secular reasons to back it up.  "He can search the whole Bible and not find anything that justifies gay marriage or same-sex unions," she said.

Media silent on Obama's controversial interpretation of scripture.  Senator Obama (D-Illinois) boldly declared in a campaign speech recently that states should legalize "same-sex unions" for homosexuals.  "If people find that controversial then I would just refer them to the Sermon on the Mount," says Obama.  "Which I think is, in my mind, for my faith, more central than an obscure passage in Romans."  Bob Knight, director of the Culture and Media Institute, says the major television networks and most major newspapers did not report on Obama's remarks, which Knight says amount to a severe distortion of scripture.

Why Does Obama Hate Marriage?.  Specifically Barack Obama wishes to pass "ENDA" the employment non-discrimination act.  Or so it's called.  What it really consists of is the most diabolical way ever conceived to punish every voice in America, who under present law, have every right, to speak to their houses of worship, family, and spouse as to the scientific, mental health, and diseased ridden drawbacks of engaging in homosexual behavior. ... ENDA would directly challenge and seek to limit religious expression, doctrine, theology, and practice.  Senator Barack Obama knows this, and supports it with all his might.

Barack Hussein Obama Refused:  "I Did Not Want To Concede".  As an Illinois state senator, Barack Hussein Obama refused to support legislation to protect babies that survived late-term abortions, claiming "I did not want to concede."  To what was Obama referring?  His statement was in reference to babies that were fully outside their mothers' wombs.  Thus, Obama did not want to concede the fact that babies who survived a late term abortion were in fact "persons."  He was the only senator of the Democrat Party to speak against baby protection legislation.  He was the only legislator from either side of the political isle that took his position.

Obama is no moderate:  His radical position on 'abortion' after birth.  [Scroll down]  So, what are we to make of Obama's votes against protecting the right to life for living babies who have survived attempted abortions?  Such babies are sometimes born alive as a result of late-term induced labor abortions, often sought when babies are believed (sometimes in error) to have genetic defects such as Down syndrome.  Earlier this decade, such living, breathing, babies who survived labor were "shelved" — left to die and disposed of with other medical waste, or were "aborted" — killed outside the womb.  The practice was ultimately banned by unanimous Congressional votes, as even the most pro-abortion Senate Democrats — including every defender of partial-birth abortion — recognized that killing these breathing babies is no longer abortion in any real sense.  It crosses the line; it is infanticide.  Yet, incredibly, Obama repeatedly worked to deny these living babies any right to life.

Small Church's Obama Sign Causes Big Controversy.  The sign in front of a small church in a small town is causing a big controversy in Jonesville, S.C.  Pastor Roger Byrd said that he just wanted to get people thinking.  So last Thursday, he put a new message on the sign at the Jonesville Church of God.  It reads:  "Obama, Osama, hmm, are they brothers?"  Byrd said that the message wasn't meant to be racial or political.  "It's simply to cause people to realize and to see what possibly could happen if we were to get someone in there that does not believe in Jesus Christ," he said.

The Audacity of Death:  According to Barack Obama, Gianna Jessen shouldn't exist.  Miss Jessen is an exquisite example of what antiabortion advocates call a "survivor."  Well into her third trimester of pregnancy, Gianna's biological mother was injected with a saline solution intended to induce a chemical abortion at a Los Angeles County abortion center.  Eighteen hours later, and precious minutes before the abortionist's arrival, Gianna emerged.  Premature and with severe injuries that resulted in cerebral palsy.  But alive.  Had the abortionist been present at her birth, Gianna would have been killed, perhaps by suffocation. … As an Illinois state senator, Barack Obama twice opposed legislation to define as "persons" babies who survive late-term abortions.

Reaction to Obama — babies are God's gift, not a 'punishment'.  Pro-life advocate Wendy Wright says presidential candidate Barak Obama's recent comment that he wouldn't want his daughters to be "punished with a baby" reveals much about where the Democrat stands on the issue of the sanctity of all human life — and shows his true persona.

When Will We Admit the Truth About Barack Obama?  Notice he mentioned "religion" in the same breath as "guns" and "antipathy to people," sandwiched right in between the two.  It's hard to escape the conclusion that he draws an equivalency among those things, which speaks volumes.  If you're a person of faith, you understand that we're supposed to cling to religion.  After all, if you are serious about your faith, you must believe it is the Truth and that it is God's will that you should practice it.  And why wouldn't you have the Truth at the center of your life?  The only kind of person who wouldn't have this perspective is one who has little or no faith.

Barack Obama celebrates birth of Roe vs. Wade abortion decision.  [Scroll down]  So instead today [1/22/2010] the Democratic chief executive issued a special statement celebrating the 37th birthday of the Supreme Court's Roe vs. Wade abortion decision.  He particularly hailed the hallmark decision's granting of the "fundamental constitutional right to choose whether to have an abortion."

Obama Is No Joshua.  Obama can call himself anything he likes, but there is a clear requirement for one to qualify as a Christian and Obama doesn't meet that requirement.  One cannot deny central tenets of the Christian faith, including the deity and uniqueness of Christ as the sole mediator between God and Man and be a Christian.  Such people do have a label applied to them in Scripture.  They are called "false prophets."

Carter, Obama, and the Evangelicals.  [Obama's] strategy is clear — talk selectively about elements of the Biblical message that resonate with everyone (help those hurting and in need — DUH), while ignoring other vital aspects of scripture — things like righteousness and that "minor" matter of individual salvation. … But quoting stuff out of context is commonplace among politicians and spin-doctors.  Why is this kind of thing effective with people who should know better — those who profess to believe the Bible and follow Jesus?

Obama Addresses His Faith.  Of the two presumptive nominees for president, Obama has been far more outspoken about his religious beliefs than Sen. John McCain.  Evangelical Christian leaders have remained skeptical, however, that Obama's faith comports with their own, especially given his support for gay and abortion rights.

Obama:  committed to doing "the Lord's work".  Sen. Barack Obama declared Saturday [7/5/2008] to a roaring crowd of religious African-Americans at the America's Center that they should have no doubt of his commitment to his Christian faith, his nation or his political principles.

The Editor says...
First of all, why does the great post-racial unifier make fund-raising speeches in all-black churches?  Second, if Senator McCain had said he was just doing "the Lord's work", the press would have responded with a week of mocking derision.  And finally, if Mr. Obama is a Christian, why does his voting record look like that of a baby-killing Marxist?

Obama says America is 'no longer Christian'.  Some have been taking issue with largely unnoticed comments made last year by Sen. Barack Obama declaring the U.S. is "no longer a Christian nation" but is also a nation of others, including Muslims and nonbelievers.  The comments have been recently recirculating on Internet blogs.  "Whatever we once were, we're no longer a Christian nation.  At least not just.  We are also a Jewish nation, a Muslim nation, and a Buddhist nation, and a Hindu nation, and a nation of nonbelievers," Obama said during a June 2007 speech available on YouTube.

A Closer Look At Saddleback, Obama's Faith.  The Obama campaign document titled "Unfit for Publication" focuses on whether Mr. Obama was in Rev. Jeremiah "God d--- America" Wright's church on one specific day during one of Rev. Wright's anti-America rants, and doesn't explain why Mr. Obama was there sopping up anti-America bigotry and racism for 20 years.  It doesn't explain why someone hearing constant anti-American propaganda wouldn't immediately leave the church.

Obama Re-invents his Trinity Church History.  He did not indicate any scheduling problems or absences back in 2004, no scapegoating of his daughter.  Now he has to deal with Pastor Wright controversy and he just dreams up a different history — and Newsweek helps him along.

Obama skips church, heads to gym.  Obama was an infrequent churchgoer on the campaign trail, though he did make a series of appearances in the pews and pulpits of South Carolina churches ahead of that heavily religious state's primary.  The issue of where he worships is, of course, fraught.  For about two decades, Obama and his family attended Chicago's Trinity United Church of Christ.

The New Messiah: Workout versus Worship.  It is easier to say that I am a Christian than to be one.  And Obama?  He attends church seldom and does not participate in the Gospel Life, the Communion of Saints, and Sacramental living.  This is quite different than that public persona who carried his Bible to church services, or made grandiose speeches from a pulpit during the campaign.  What cheek!  What chutzpah!  What sacrilege!  Invoking the name of Jesus does not make one a Christian anymore than honking makes one a goose.  Barak (sic) Obama, it seems to me, neither talks the talk nor walks the walk.

Lack of attendance at a Christmas service shows Barack Obama's church dilemma.  Barack Obama has long stressed the importance of religion in his life.  But as his fellow Christians around the world attended Christmas services on Wednesday and Thursday, the president-elect and his family remained sequestered at their vacation compound on the windward coast of Oahu.

He can't make it to church, but he can always find a gymnasium.
Barack Obama shapes up to be a sporting leader.  Obama has spent almost every day working out obsessively in the gym while preparing for his inauguration on January 20 — granting himself a day off only at Christmas.

Life without a church community 'difficult': Obama.  President-elect Barack Obama, who last year quit his church over inflammatory remarks by its former pastor, said he finds life without a spiritual community "difficult," and said he and wife Michelle plan to step up their search for a place of worship.

Nearly a year later, Obamas still looking for a church home.  Nearly a year after a painful break from his Chicago church, President Barack Obama and his family are considering joining several churches of various denominations in the nation's capital but have yet to settle on one, and aides said that they're unlikely to decide before Easter.

It must be difficult to find an America-hating black separatist cult like the TUCC.  But there aren't that many churches in the District of Columbia.  Pick one.  Even Bill Clinton managed to go to church every Sunday (while he was president) and he made sure everybody saw him waving his Bible in the air.  Since Mr. Obama's church attendance is just for show, it doesn't really matter which church he selects.

Churches vie to be Obamas' spiritual home.  Aides to President Obama are quietly checking out local churches to find his new spiritual home, a delicate, complex task that must balance Obama's public profile, security needs, and personal beliefs against a discreet but intense competition among ministers to bring the first family to their pews.

When Will Obama Go to Church?  President Obama has not attended church services on any of the 11 Sundays since he took office, despite his pledge to find a new church after quitting Trinity United nearly a year ago because of the Rev. Jeremiah Wright's incendiary rhetoric.  "We probably won't make any firm decision on this until January, when we know what our lives our going to be like," Obama told reporters last May at a press conference that he called to announce his break with Trinity.

Church for Obamas on Easter.  President Obama and his family are looking for a new church, but his decision represents more than merely settling on a pew.  The Obamas planned to attend Easter services Sunday, which would mark the president's first visit to a Washington church since taking office in January.

Actually it has been a lot longer than that.  What church has Obama attended — even once — since he left the TUCC?

Obama Family Attends Easter Service at St. John's.  The Obama family today [4/12/2009] attended an Easter Service at St. John's Episcopal Church, a very traditional choice for the holiday as nearly every president since James Madison has worshipped at the historic church that sits across from the White House.

Is Obama Hypocritical To Put His Dog Over Dogma.  On Easter Sunday, President Obama successfully concluded his long search for a new White House dog but made no progress in his simultaneous quest for a new church for his family.  Could the contrasting status regarding the First Family's two most publicized private decisions indicate that the President actually cares more about canine companionship than religious commitment?

Would a "committed Christian" president say this?
Not a Christian nation, Mr. President?  President Obama told a news conference in Turkey last week that America "is not a Christian nation," thus demonstrating that it is indeed possible for a Harvard Law graduate to be correct strictly as a matter of law and otherwise completely out to lunch on the facts of history.

Can religious leaders faithfully serve the president and God at the same time?  The administration plans to open the flood gates of federal funding for embryonic stem-cell research and, in all likelihood, abortion, trampling the moral convictions of millions of ordinary Americans.  A revamped faith-based initiative, which would deny the right of charities to consider religious commitment in hiring decisions, threatens to become a protocol for secularization.  The president's education proposal throws hundreds of millions of dollars at failing public schools, but rejects vouchers for children from poor families to help them escape these mismanaged monstrosities and attend private religious schools.  In short, much of Obama's political vision contradicts the religious ideals of his prayer partners and the constituencies they supposedly represent.

Obama's Moral Slide Rule.  In President Barack Obama's moral and constitutional universe, unfettering abortion and coddling terrorists trump innocent life.  But most Americans reject his anti-life calculations.  Candidate Obama promised Planned Parenthood that he would "go on offense" by signing the "Freedom of Choice Act" as his first act as president.  It would put millions of additional lives at risk by eliminating all federal and state regulations of abortion, including bans on late term and partial birth abortion.  If these barbaric procedures are not torture, nothing is.

Obama golfs fourth week straight.  Barack Obama hit the links again on Sunday, making it four straight weeks where the president has worked on his golf game.  This week, Obama played at Andrews Air Force Base.

The Obamas Find a Church Home — Away from Home.  Now, in an unexpected move, Obama has told White House aides that instead of joining a congregation in Washington, he will follow in George W. Bush's footsteps and make his primary place of worship Evergreen Chapel, the nondenominational church at Camp David.

Barack Obama still looking for church.  The White House said Monday that President Barack Obama continues "to look for a church home," and said a magazine report that he has stopped is erroneous.  White House deputy press secretary Jen Psaki said by e-mail:  "The president and first family continue to look for a church home.  They have enjoyed worshiping at Camp David and several other congregations over the months, and will choose a church at the time that is best for their family."

Meet the new First Pastor.  Time magazine's web site reported Monday that the Obamas had decided on the Evergreen Chapel as their church after visiting or sending emissaries to a variety of Washington-based churches.  A few hours later, the White House put out a statement debunking that story.  "The president and first family continue to look for a church home," White House spokeswoman Jen Psaki said.  "They have enjoyed worshipping at Camp David and several other congregations over the months, and will choose a church at the time that is best for their family."

The Camp David arrangement has one obvious advantage:  It is completely out of sight of the public.  And the news media certainly won't snitch on him if he skips church.  So unless Mr. Obama is spotted somewhere else on Sunday mornings (e.g., on a golf course or basketball court), who will know whether he actually attends the Camp David church or not?

Obama hasn't yet picked a church for his family.  President Barack Obama says he is taking his time picking a church because his choice will undergo political scrutiny.  Obama told reporters from religious news outlets on Thursday [7/2/2009] that he hasn't yet selected a place to worship in Washington but has attended services at the presidential retreat at Camp David.

First Lady's Office Mum on When Obamas Will Pick A Church to Attend.  The White House has told CNSNews.com that First Lady Michelle Obama is in charge of handling questions from the press about whether and when the Obama family will join and attend a church in Washington.  But repeated requests to her press office asking for a response to that question have gone unanswered.  Although President Obama has not had difficulty selecting a golf course on numerous Sundays since he took the oath of office, choosing a church has resulted in a wide range of statements on the subject, from Obama himself as well as White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs and Joshua DuBois, director of the White House Office of Faith-Based and Neighborhood Partnerships.

Obama:  I used to pray every night — now I pray ALL the time.  The leader of the free world must bear a bit more responsibility in his every day life than most of us do. ... Mr Obama has admitted that while he used to pray every night, he now prays all the time — because, he admitted, 'I've got a lot of stuff on my plate'.

Obama plays golf... again.  President Obama has become quite the golf fanatic since he began his presidency.  The commander in chief is out on the links again today [7/26/2009], playing a round at Andrews Air Force Base. This is the 10th time in as many weeks that Obama has found time to squeeze in some golf (all weekends, except for one Monday.)

Steady Course:  Obama Golfs at Fort Belvoir.  After returning to the White House this afternoon [9/6/2009] from Camp David where the first family spent the last days of vacation, President Barack Obama promptly left the wife and kids for an afternoon at Fort Belvoir to play — you guessed it — a round of golf.

Obama Makes a Political Booty Call to the Church.  What's this?  Obama now needs the Church — which he's been regularly dissing — to come to his aid and help "prod Congress" to pass his Health Scare Deform Swill?

The Obama Clergy Call:  "We are God's partners in matters of life and death" Obama told rabbis in an earlier call Wednesday, according to Ben Smith at Politico.com.  Notice that Obama didn't refer to it as "serving" God.  Obama is partnering with God on life and death.

Does our president have a moral compass?  Obama portrays himself as a visionary, able to view the petty disputes that preoccupy the rest of the world from a higher plane, divorced from anything as banal as America's interest.  That posture is offensive enough.  But what if, like so many extreme leftists who came before him, he's just a man without a moral compass that points anywhere other than in direction of sharing the wealth and increasing government power?

Obama: Homosexual Relationships 'Just as Real and Admirable' as Heterosexual Marriage.  President Obama delivered an unprecedented message to the Human Rights Campaign Saturday night [10/10/2009].  Sounding more like a homosexual activist than a sitting president, Obama went well beyond his expected message of "I'm here with you" on the homosexual agenda.

Obamas attend Episcopal church near White House.  President Barack Obama and his family attended Sunday services [10/11/2009] at St. John's Church, an Episcopal church on Lafayette Square just across the street from the White House.

Obama family attends St. John's Episcopal Church.  The First Family attended services at the church nearest the White House Sunday [10/11/2009], but they were no closer to deciding on a permanent place of worship.  The Obamas, who have been without a home church since President Obama broke with the Rev. Jeremiah Wright, went to St. John's Episcopal Church on the other side of Lafayette Park from the White House.

Obama — Dictator or Presidential Candidate?  It now looks like Obama has confused the roles of dictator and President of a Free World Society.  His request that government officials police the airwaves for any sign of false and misleading ads that do not put him in a good light with the people is, as Ed Martin, American Issues Project president said, "nothing more than Stalinist, police state tactics against those who dare to disagree with Barack Obama."  Who does Barack Obama think he is by trying to take away freedom of speech to question whether he is a Christian or not?

The Little Church In The East Room.  These days, most Americans have moved on from wondering about Barack Obama's church attendance habits now nearly a year into his presidency.  Some of this inattention is due, no doubt, to the swirl of events, but a measure of it is likely because Mr. Obama is demonstrating a kind of ambivalence to church attendance that has become par for the presidential course over the years (though with some exception, e.g., Jimmy Carter).

Would a Christian president allow this?
Transvestites, Mao And Obama Ornaments Decorate White House Christmas Tree.  Why let a holiday season come between the White House and making some political statements?  The White House pegged controversial designer Simon Doonan to oversee the Christmas decorations for the White House.  Mr. Doonan, who is creative director of Barney's New York has often caused a stir with his design choices. ... For this year's White House, he didn't disappoint.

White House Christmas Decor Featuring Mao Zedong Comes Under Fire.  Critics of President Obama are setting their sights on the official White House Christmas Tree, which features controversial ornaments including an orb depicting Mao Zedong and another showing drag queen Hedda Lettuce.

Obama Chooses Christmas Eve as Night of Darkness For Free World.  The elephant in our living room is what moseyed in when the mainstream media took a holiday and the mask of President Barack Obama began to crack.  How long have we known in our hearts that Obama is not an American?  How long have we known that even though he professes to be one, Obama is not a Christian, nor even a Christian sympathizer and that his actions over the last year prove he is not a benevolent president.  Obama wants a healthcare bill that is signed, sealed and delivered on Christmas Eve.  Obama wants to ruin America and the Free Enterprise system that made America what it is.

No Churchgoing Christmas for the First Family.  [Scroll down]  But there's one common Christmas practice not on the First Family's schedule:  a visit to Christmas Eve church services.  Church, in fact, has been a surprisingly tough issue for the Obamas. ... What Christian stays away from church because his presence might "displace regular worshippers"?  Did any previous president have that problem?  Does George W. Bush have that problem today in Dallas?  Who stays away from church because the church might become more crowded as a result?  Jimmy Carter never did.  After all, don't most church members try to drum up greater attendance at their churches?

Attempting to equate Christianity with socialism...
Jesus the socialist.  Apparently not content with his congressional majority that wishes to force Americans on a long march to health care disaster, President Obama has invoked the name of Jesus to broadcast his gospel of spreading around the wealth. ... The president spoke of what Jesus "symbolizes for people all around the world," which, he said, "is the possibility of peace and people treating each other with respect."  Then, in the best tradition of a community organizer, the president said Jesus is about "doing something for other people."

Dog in the Manger on Christmas Eve.  Some media outlets are making a big splash out of the Obamas having no intention of attending Christmas church services this year.  They dithered over Easter services too.  Besides if 20 years of Jeremiah Wright's ranting was lost on them, it's likely that the Birth of Jesus Christ wouldn't grab their attention either.

The Obamas Hawaii Christmas:  Will it Include Church?  The Obama family is spending Christmas and New Years in President Obama's native Hawaii and the schedule for the next few days has no public events.  Obama has no "home" church in Honolulu from his youth, and the Obamas have only attended church services in Washington three times in the past year.

White(house) Christmas without Christ.  A writer for TIME magazine reports that the president and his family are not attending Christmas services.  Gee, what a surprise!  Barack Hussein Obama has consistently shown his lack of understanding of the Holy Bible, his disdain for the spiritual meaning of Christmas (no Nativity crèche in the White House), and his propensity to bow to Muslim leaders.  But the fact is that NO TRUE CHRISTIAN can support abortion and the federal funding thereof.

There is no mention of the word "church" in this account of Obama's Sunday in Hawaii.
Basketball, beach, dinner make up Obama's Sunday.  The vacationing President Barack Obama focused yesterday [12/27/2009] on recreational activities for himself, his family and friends.

How I Spent My Hawaiian Vacation.  On Christmas morning, I did what most American dads do — I got up at 6:30 a.m. and headed for some body-sculpting.  Even though Michelle told the press she got me several things for Christmas, turns out we aren't even exchanging any gifts... so, she was either making the whole thing up or taking back everything she bought for me.  What's more, she asked me in front of Oprah what I got her this year — I told Oprah I give "nicer stuff than I get" — but we left out the part about not getting each other anything at all.  Nothing says Merry Christmas more than skipping out on church and no presents for your wife.

As president, Obama stopped going to church.  Obama and his family left the White House only twice in 2009 to attend worship services in Washington, raising questions about the role of faith in the life of the president who made Christianity a cornerstone of his political ascent but was also burned by his pastor of 20 years during the presidential campaign.

No one in the ABC piece is allowed to question if Obama now has a phobia about church attendance due to his 20-year membership in the church of radical-left Rev. Jeremiah Wright.  Dwyer can't even bring himself to mention Wright's name, only that Obama quit "Chicago's embattled Trinity United Church of Christ."  He couldn't get any more specific than that.

Obama's spirituality is largely private, but it's influential, advisers say.  Every morning, sometimes as early as 5:30 a.m., a short religious passage comes across President Obama's BlackBerry, sent by one of his aides.  At other moments, Obama prays privately, his advisers said.  And when he takes his family to Camp David on the weekends, a Navy chaplain ministers to them, with the daughters attending a form of Sunday school there.  More than a year into his presidency, Obama has not chosen a church in Washington, and has attended services just four times.

This puff piece in the Post is clearly an attempt to paint Obama's alternative (religious) lifestyle as morally equivalent to regular attendance at church.  What does "a form of Sunday school" mean?  Obama brags about having "faith", but the word "Christian" does not appear in this article.

Chicken soup for the ever prayerful presidential soul.  [Scroll down]  The Washington Post made such an attempt the same day as the Prayer Breakfast speech:  "Every morning, sometimes as early as 5:30 a.m., a short religious passage comes across President Obama's BlackBerry, sent by one of his aides. ... At other moments, Obama prays privately, his advisers said."  So another Washington cliche is observed:  The man's faith is private, which is why we're talking about it in The Washington Post.

Obama and the Horizontal Axis of Faith:  Once again the National Prayer Breakfast has taken place, and again the Obama administration has taken a swipe at religious belief. ... Obama's address exhibits a characteristic of the left's view of religion:  sacrificing the vertical axis of faith (the praise and rightful worship of God) for an exaggerated emphasis on a vague understanding of the horizontal axis of faith (love of neighbor).

I have a dream, too.  Obama is all about deception as a disciple of Saul Alinsky rather than a good-faith problem-solver as a disciple of Jesus Christ, despite his profession to be a Christian.  The President favors appeasing Islamic Jihadists and apologizing to Muslims worldwide for America's greatness and generosity. ... Claiming to be a Christian, Obama seems to oppose them at every turn.  He had the symbols of Jesus for his speech at Georgetown University covered up and opposed the Catholic Church's anti-abortion stance during his speech at Notre Dame.

Obama's phony faith:  Barack Obama routinely laced his campaign speeches with words and phrases that resonated with voters, particularly those who practiced their faith more often than others in the body politic. ... His courtship of religious groups in the 2008 race — the most extensive ever by a Democratic candidate for president-paid off on election day.  But that was so 2008.  The campaign is over-and so, seemingly, is his embrace of Christianity.

Obama's spiritual life takes more private turn.  He named a best-selling book after a pastor's sermon and was outspoken as a candidate about the value of faith in public life. ... But since President Obama took office a year ago, his faith has largely receded from public view.

Our Last "Christian" President?  Christians used to have a biblical worldview — but now a great number of those who identify themselves as 'Christian' have ambivalence about abortion, same sex marriage, sexual promiscuity, and sound doctrine.  We live in a post-modern, post-Christian world in which the worldview is shaped more by the many colors of our culture than the black and white of God's word.  Whoever leads this nation and professes their Christianity while not challenging those laws and morays which are an anathema to God cannot be truly born again.  It's easy, though, in America today, to have it both ways.  You can sew the label of Christ on your garments but that doesn't mean you are clothed in the grace of Jesus Christ and bearing the fruit of the Holy Spirit.

Obama and Charity:  [President Obama links] his faith to his policies.  "God's grace," he said, "is expressed through ... the efforts of our entire government."  The question, then, is whether Obama's faith in a tender, loving bureaucracy (aka entitlements) is consistent with his professed faith in Jesus Christ.  The answer is found quite readily in basic elements of Judeo-Christian charity.  The Second Letter to the Corinthians, for example, reads:  "Each one should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver."  "Under compulsion," of course, is precisely the way entitlements are funded.

The Subtext of the Obama-Israel Dispute:  By trying to limit Jewish residency in Jerusalem, President Obama plays into this de-Judification of Jerusalem and poses a threat to both Judaism and Christianity.

If Obama were a Christian, would he act like this?
No media at Obama abortion-order signing.  A day after a lavish bill signing White House ceremony on health care reform, President Obama will sign an executive order barring the law from allowing federally funded abortion, but he'll do so behind closed doors and with no media allowed. ... Not even a photographer will be allowed into the Oval Office to capture the moment.

President Obama says First Family won't join a D.C. church.  [Scroll down]  In an article on February 22, 2010, "Obama's spiritual life takes more private turn," the Boston Globe put the number of President Obama's Washington, D.C. church attendances as President to that point at four.  It is not clear if that number included the President Elect and Mrs. Obama's attendance at a prayer service at St. John's on the morning of January 20, 2009, several hours before Mr. Obama was sworn in as President.

Easter at Allen Chapel for first family.  The first family attended Easter services Sunday [4/4/2010] at Allen Chapel, an African Methodist Episcopal church in Southeast Washington, a community that was struck by violence recently.

Radicals to rule us all.  [Chai R.] Feldblum, a lesbian activist at Georgetown Law Center who has said she cannot think of a single instance in which religious freedom would trump "gay rights," is the newest commissioner on the five-member Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC).  That's the agency that enforces federal civil rights laws in the workplace.  Ms. Feldblum once said the culture war could be resolved in a simple manner:  "Gays win, Christians lose."

Would a Christian appoint a person with that viewpoint to any position?

Is Obama a Christian Fraud?  The increasingly notorious lack of church involvement or public religious observance by the United States' First Family has led one Christian organization to question the level of dedication President Obama truly feels to the religious identity that once lent such appeal to his campaign image.

The Black Church's Commitment to Obama.  Ninety-six percent of black voters, many of whom are Christians, cast their votes for Barack Obama.  I question:  Did your desire to see a black man in the White House trump your commitment to Christ and Christian values and principles? ... My family and most of my black friends are Christians striving to live lives which honor Christ.  And yet, there is a huge disconnect between their Christianity and their irrational, blind, and near-idol-worship of Obama.  Will the truth about Obama make a difference?  For some, I think not.  For those of you who value your commitment to Christ more than your loyalty to skin color, here are a few facts.

Does Obama Hate Black People?  With his actions as an Illinois state senator, U.S. senator, and now president, Barack Obama has rightfully earned his title as the most pro-abortion politician in American history, but a congressional report asserts that his advocacy for a new abortion policy in his "home country of Kenya" (according to Michelle Obama) may have broken the law. ... Under the Siljander Amendment, no funds for foreign assistance may be used to lobby for or against abortion, and [Congressman Chris] Smith has discovered that the Obama Administration has spent over $10 million to promote the new Kenyan constitution.

Obama, Proclaiming LGBT Pride Month, Pushes Repeal of DOMA.  Citing his commitment to repeal the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA), President Obama on Friday [5/28/2010] issued a proclamation declaring June 2010 "Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Pride Month."  The president also emphasized his intention to secure "adoption rights" for same-sex couples and end both employment discrimination against LGBT individuals as well as the "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" (DADT) compromise that bars homosexuals from serving openly in the military.

Obama and Pelosi Hijack Christianity.  [In the 2008 election season,] then-Senator Barack Obama claimed that Christian Right leaders had "hijacked" Christianity.  Hijacked?  How dare any politician claim that a group of clergymen upholding the traditional beliefs of the Christian faith is "hijacking."  Yet after winning the White House, President Obama showed the audacity to claim a biblical mandate for his agenda.  On August 19, 2009, the president held a conference call with Christian clergy, urging them to endorse his healthcare legislation as a moral issue, and claiming that their Christian duty to care for their brother obligated them to support him.  Now that is what hijacking Christianity looks like.

Islam:  Antithetical to Religious Freedom.  Barack Obama's religious practices have raised questions about his affiliation with Christianity.  For twenty years, he attended the church of controversial former Muslim Reverend Jeremiah Wright. ... Since becoming president, Obama stopped attending church, even on Christmas day, and specifically requested that no religious decorations grace the White House tree, which featured an ornament with the image of Mao Tse-Tung.  In 2009 and 2010, much to the consternation of American Christians, Obama canceled the White House National Day of Prayer ceremonies.

Do Christians Who Voted for Obama Believe His Policies are Biblical?  Perhaps many Christians think their faith can't influence casting votes in government elections.  But what fruit has such political agnosticism borne?  Are believing Barack-boosters now proud of themselves?  All modern Americans have been programmed to unthinkingly support complete "Separation of Church and State."  But consider the results of this lazy theological notion, as applied to the following subjects. ...

Obama lied, babies died.  It's hard to comprehend that intelligent people believe Obama speaks the truth.  A simple question:  If an individual encourages coldly tossing a barely breathing infant into a laundry room to die and uses the upholding of the original intent to kill the baby as an excuse, is it logical to assume such a person has a high regard for truth?  Barack Obama supports killing the unborn and if by chance the infant should happen to "burden the original decision of the woman and the physician to induce labor and perform an abortion" by refusing to die, Barry disagrees with providing a helpless being medical care.  Plain and simple, Obama is cold and heartless.

Why is Obama Changing "Freedom of Religion" to "Freedom of Worship"?  Last November Obama used the term "freedom of worship" at the memorial service for the victims of the Ft. Hood shooting.  A few days later he did it again in speeches in both Japan and China.  In December Hillary Clinton also used that terminology three times in a speech at Georgetown University and never once used the phrase "freedom of religion".  In January of this year Clinton used the "freedom of worship" term four times while addressing senators. ... The response by many religious freedom advocates is fear of what this all means.

Obama Moves Away From 'Freedom of Religion' Toward 'Freedom of Worship'.  The change in language was barely noticeable to the average citizen but political observers are raising red flags at the use of a new term "freedom of worship" by President Obama and Secretary Clinton as a replacement for the term freedom of religion.  This shift happened between the President's speech in Cairo where he showcased America's freedom of religion and his appearance in November at a memorial for the victims of Fort Hood, where he specifically used the term "freedom of worship."  From that point on, it has become the term of choice for the president and Clinton.

"Freedom of Religion" vs. "Freedom of Worship".  That's a departure from what most Americans understand as "freedom of religion," but it may still seem like an inconsequential difference.  The truth is that changing the word "religion" to "worship" drastically changes what is protected.

Is the United States a Christian Nation?  In 2007, then-Senator Barack Obama told the Christian Broadcasting Network that the United States was "no longer just a Christian nation."  But a new Gallup poll indicates that not only is the country Christian, it is overwhelmingly Christian.

Obama No Longer Goes To Church.  During the election cycle, Senator Barack Obama stated, "I've got a wonderful community of people who are praying for me every day ... but it's not the same as going to church and hearing a choral anthem and a good sermon."  One if left to wonder, what changed after taking over the White House?  Where has President Obama's church commitment gone; is he too busy for church?

He's Not a Muslim!  ("Not that There's Anything Wrong with That")  On the one hand, we were told that Obama's relationship with [Jeremiah] Wright was irrelevant and that he slept through the hateful messages — and on the other, TUCC was where Obama practiced his professed Christianity and received inspirations for his writings. ... And through all of this, we were required to have enough suspension of belief to count Black Liberation Theology as Christian in the first place.

No Baptism Or Renunciation of Islam Required.
Obama's Unique Form of 'Christianity'.  We've all heard by now that Obama became a Christian mostly to expedite his political career and that the Trinity United Church of Christ he joined, presided over by Reverend Jonathan Wright, was not exactly mainstream.  We've heard about Wright's damning of America and we know that the church was — and might still be — a hot bed of black nationalism.  But what is not as well known is that no baptism is required, nor must Muslims renounce Islam to be accepted as full members in that church.

The myth of 'collective salvation'.  President Obama has made no secret of his belief in "collective salvation"; the religious belief that one cannot achieve salvation by himself, unless he is also concerned for the the salvation of his neighbors, and society as a whole.  By salvation of himself and his neighbors insert "for the greater good" or "income redistribution", or for that matter, any number of things.

Let Me Translate:  We Don't Believe Him — or You.  Memo to the ruling class media:  We are not ignorant or stupid.  We've not forgotten Jeremiah Wright.  It's not that we don't "know" what faith Obama subscribes to — it's more that we don't believe him.  Or you.

The un-faith of Obama.  All Obama has managed to prove over the past year is his inability to tell the truth. ... Why wouldn't there be a doubt about his Christian faith?  He's already openly declared that America is no longer a Christian nation; he continues to openly praise Islam; he bows to Muslim leaders; he claims that the Muslim call to prayer is "the most beautiful sound in the world;" he regularly quotes from the Koran and cites it for directing his life; and, he publicly called Christians derogatory names such as "bitter clingers" for holding fast to their Bibles.  Moreover, unlike people who change their names upon their conversion to Islam, Obama did not change his name upon his conversion to Christianity.

Obama's credibility is the big issue in religion poll.  Thomas Lifson and Byron York have convincingly demonstrated that the President's own behavior is the source of the one-in-five Muslim answer and that such an opinion is rational given the evidence.  In contrast, the mainstream media's response was a predictably arrogant dismay that Americans do not believe the President is a Christian, given that the Administration has said he "is obviously a Christian." ... [But] maybe six-in-ten Americans don't believe the President is a Christian precisely because he claims to be so.

Obama's True Religion:  [Scroll down]  His conscience is governed by the basest sense of self-centered and self-serving egotistical emotion.  And although President Obama does comes across as a Muslim to many people, the only real similarity he has with them is sharing the same attitude Muslim extremists have toward America.  Obama does not now, nor will he ever, practice any religion remotely affiliated with worshiping a power higher than himself.  No, America.  Barack Obama's true religion is not Muslim or Christian — his true religion is himself.

Obama:  Tee-ing off the nation, one Sunday at a time.  Another Sunday, another missed opportunity for President Obama to prove to America he's not a Muslim.  But instead of attending church services at one of the dozens and dozens of quaint, island Christian churches yesterday morning, the commander in chief hit Our Lady of the Fairways, aka the Vineyard Golf Club, yet again, to play 18.

Obama:  Muslim Missionary?  (Part 2).  Last week, the media, White House and nation were in a hullabaloo over a Pew Research Center poll that revealed that 1 in 5 Americans believes President Barack Obama is a Muslim.  The poll received so much attention and response that the White House released a rebuttal reiterating that President Obama is "a committed Christian."  The fact is Americans are more baffled now by Obama's personal religion than they were when he first came into office.

How Christian is Obama?  With all the discussions about whether or not the President is a Christian, I did something I'd never expected to do:  I went to the library, checked out a copy of The Audacity of Hope, and read it.

Do Most Christians Decorate Christmas Trees Like the Obamas?  Our beloved president has expressed bewilderment at recent polls showing large numbers of Americans doubt his commitment to Christianity.  Because we hate to see our president even a wee bit flummoxed, let's help him out.  Do most Christians you know choose to decorate their Christmas tree with smiling images of Chairman Mao, who murdered at least 50 million of his countrymen, as well as signed photos of transvestite Hedda Lettuce?

Obama:  Muslim Missionary?  (Part 3).  In a 2009 speech in Cairo, President Obama committed to "fight against negative stereotypes" of Islam "wherever they appear," so why doesn't he also consider it his responsibility to do that for Christianity, especially because the majority of Americans still profess affinity with Christendom and the White House insists Obama is "a committed Christian"?

Christian voters losing faith in Obama.  Though several moderate to conservative evangelical pastors support the president, polls show that a significant percentage of conservative Christians remain skeptical about Obama's sincerity when it comes to the values that he says they share, and many say they doubt his faith.

Obama and family attend church service.  President Obama and his family attended services this morning at St. John's Church, which is on the other side of Lafayette Square from the White House.  St. John's, often visited by presidents, is Episcopalian.

Here's the rest of the story, not reported by the American media:
Obama goes to church to hear a Muslim speaker!  Yesterday, on Sunday, September 19, 2010, the Obama family attended church for only the third time in a year.  They went on foot to the St. John's Episcopal Church situated across the Lafayette Park.  But what is widely not reported by the White House and the MSM is that on that particular Sunday in that particular church, Dr. Ziad Asali, M.D., a Muslim, founder and president of the American Task Force on Palestine, was the guest speaker.  He was there to speak on the subject of "Prospects of the two-state solution in the Middle-East."

Obama makes rare church appearance on same day as pro-Palestinian teaching?  Before last Sunday, US President Barack Obama and his family had only been to church a handful of times since he became commander-in-chief.  And two of those visits were for Inauguration Day and Easter.  The Obama family's sixth time at church in Washington, DC may also have been for a special occasion — to hear a pro-Palestinian activist teach about how Israel needs to surrender its biblical heartland for a phony "peace."

Obama questioned on abortion.  According to the Pew survey released last month, most of those who think Obama is Muslim are Republicans, but the number of independents who believe he is Muslim has expanded significantly, from 10 percent last year to 18 percent this summer.  In March 2009, 36 percent of African-Americans said they didn't know what religion Obama practices.  Now, 46 percent of African-Americans say they don't know, according to the survey.

Obama's Campaign-Season Christianity.  Barack Obama threw his mom under the parish van on Tuesday [9/28/2010], describing her as formlessly "spiritual" while casting himself as the self-made convert.  "I am a Christian by choice," he said at a campaign event in New Mexico this week.  In 2007, he said the opposite:  that he became a Christian through his mother.  "My mother was a Christian from Kansas ... I was raised by my mother.  So, I've always been a Christian," he told a voter who had inquired about his Islamic background.  The woman at the campaign stop in New Mexico on Tuesday [9/28/2010] asked him to explain why he is a Christian and coupled it with another one about his support for abortion rights.  The sequence of questions proved awkward, with the answer to the latter question rendering his answer to the first one meaningless.

Obamas wanted to celebrate Diwali in India.  Barack Obama, who became the first US president to personally celebrate Diwali in the historic East Room in 2009, wanted to "specifically" celebrate the festival of lights with Indians, the White House has said.  "He (Obama) specifically wanted to have an opportunity to celebrate Diwali and to do so with the Indian people, getting beyond simply his official business," Jeff Bader, Senior Director for Asia Affairs at the National Security Council, White House, said.

Call me a hayseed, but I had never heard of Diwali.  Apparently it is a five-day festival that is important to Hinduism, Sikhism and Jainism.  And evidently it is important to Mr. and Mrs. Obama as well.

Watch your religious language, Mr. President.  Sometimes it seems like President Obama just can't catch a break, from the long-faltering economy to the Gulf oil well explosion.  But some problems are just of his own making.  Nowhere is this more clear than in his clumsy use of religious language.  The president cannot stop stumbling over the religious maxims that have defined us as a nation.

That's because Obama is a Christian in name only.  The evidence is all over this page.  On matters of theology and American religious history, he is so chronically ignorant (or badly misinformed) that he thought TUCC was a church!

When someone goes to church and that event is so unusual as to be headline news, that person is a stranger to the church.  But here's something he's really enthusiastic about...

Obama extends Kwanzaa greetings.  President Obama and the first lady sent out Kwanzaa greetings Sunday on the first day of the seven-day celebration.  "Michelle and I extend our warmest thoughts and wishes to all those who are celebrating Kwanzaa this holiday season," Obama said in a statement.  "Today is the first of a joyful seven-day celebration of African American culture and heritage."

Obama Versus Reagan.  This year, the president's speechwriters are trying to figure out how to refer enough to the birth of Christ in his Christmas addresses that others don't think he's a Muslim, but not smack of being so Christian that they alienate the president's progressive, Islamic and atheistic base.  Though their speech attempts started better this December than last, both of this year's attempts ended up neutering the soul of Christmas.

President goes to church in Kaneohe.  President Barack Obama, his family and friends went to church at Marine Corps Base Hawaii on the day after Christmas.  The first family arrived at a chapel at Marine Corps Base Hawaii midmorning for a multidenominational service.  The Obamas were greeted by clapping parishioners and a band playing "Joy to the World" as they were led to their seats in the front row. ... The Obamas also issued a statement yesterday [12/26/2010] recognizing observers of Kwanzaa.

Imagine the watered-down, noncommittal sermon are you likely to hear at a "multidenominational service."  It's probably a lot like attending the TUCC, where they'll say whatever they think you want to hear.  The President's equally (or more) enthusiastic recognition of Kwanzaa negates any credence of his Christianity, in my opinion.  Everything he says or does is motivated by political gain.

We Must Challenge Obama Before He Breaks the United States.  We have all heard how narcissistic Barack Obama really is and how he does not like to take orders from anybody but, presumably, Allah his Muslim deity.  (Christian?  Don't make me laugh.)

Obama:  2010 in Faith.  Obama has said that he has not joined a Washington church because it would be too "disruptive" to the services.  Being disruptive apparently did not concern him during his lavish Christmas vacation in Hawaii, however.  According to a MailOnline article, to visit childhood friend Bobby Titcomb's beachfront house, a "10-vehicle convoy drove the president and wife Michelle from his rental property in Kailua, across highways cleared of traffic and through a military community."

Heather has two passports.  The Obama administration's war on traditional values is picking up steam.  Just three days before Christmas, the State Department buried an announcement that "mother" and "father" were being banished from the bureaucratic lexicon.  In their place, politically correct terms intended to appeal to the vanity of homosexual activists will be inserted.  Application forms for documents such as passports will use "parent one" and "parent two" or "parent A" and "parent B" instead of supposedly obsolete concepts like mother and father. ... Obama administration officials are all in favor of breaking down the distinctions between men and women and any role they might play in society.

Obamas attend church in Washington.  President Barack Obama publicly attended church on Sunday [1/16/2011], an unusual move for a president who is accustomed to attending Sunday services at a private chapel at Camp David.  Obama and his family attended services at Washington's Metropolitan African Methodist Episcopal Church, about six blocks from the White House, which describes itself as the "National Cathedral" of African Methodism.  The service commemorated the 25th anniversary of the national holiday honoring the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., a day before the holiday itself.

The African Methodist Episcopal Church was founded in 1816 from several black Methodist congregations in the mid-Atlantic area that wanted independence from white Methodists.  That sounds to me like the description of a black separatist (if not racist) organization much like the TUCC.

Obamas make rare church visit.  [Scroll down]  Michelle Obama received more applause than her husband when the first family's arrival was announced in church.  She was even treated to a round of "Happy Birthday."  She turns 47 on Monday.

How indecorous!  A round of applause and a chorus of "Happy Birthday."  Apparently the Obamas go to church not to worship, but to be worshipped.

Prayer and Pancakes with Barack.  At the prayer breakfast Barack addressed the growing belief that he is a Muslim and maintained that despite hosting annual Iftar dinners and regularly attending Sunday morning church services on the Interior Department basketball court, Christianity is a "sustaining force" in his largely secular life.

Obama's Prayer Breakfast Knuckleball.  [Scroll down]  At the Prayer Breakfast, Obama shifted the focus from his earthly father to his heavenly one.  He did not, however, present his sudden enthusiasm for Jesus Christ as a change of heart, but rather as a sharing of what had been in his heart all along.  Unfortunately, nothing he has ever said or written supports this.  In Dreams, Obama talks about first attending Jeremiah Wright's Chicago church in 1988, but he speaks of Jesus only as someone other people embrace.  He refers on one occasion to "Will's Jesus."  On another occasion, a friend says to him, "We love you, man.  Jesus loves you!"  But Obama himself has nothing to say about Jesus.

Bill Maher Says He Doesn't Think Obama Is A Christian.  On tonight's [2/11/2011] Real Time, in the process of arguing that Obama's not really a centrist politically, Maher also revealed that he doesn't think Obama's actually Christian, either, but rather a secular humanist.

Hint of politics creeps in to rare Obama church appearance.  Barack Obama is not shy about discussing his Christian faith, but the U.S. president and his family do not attend church regularly in Washington.  So a presidential visit is a rare happening among the city's churches, and Easter is one Sunday when one regularly occurs.

It appears that President Obama only goes to church when it will benefit him politically, and on those rare occasions, it's almost always an all-black church, much like his old favorite, the TUCC.

Obama's Church Choice For Easter Based On Race?  It may sound a little callous and abrasive to even be suspicious of Obama's choice of churches for Easter Sunday 2011, but given the climate of the media bias so overwhelmingly in favor of casting Obama in the best light possible, the regular media professionals can't be trusted to actually do some basic reporting. ... While this pastor is a little less flamboyant than Jeremiah Wright in both tone and wardrobe, the evidence is in:  Obama prefers and actively seeks out these churches, race is our President's primary motivation on a variety of decisions, and the media will actively provide cover for minority racists as long as it fits their narrative.

What Next — the Potomac River running red with blood?  On Easter morning 2011, the President attended Resurrection Day services at Shiloh Baptist Church.  As the President and his family entered the sanctuary, the quartet was greeted with applause and a choir singing "Total Praise."  Dr. Wallace Smith, the church's pastor, reminded the congregants, "This is a place of worship," which is exactly what appeared to be going on.

Yesterday was Sunday: Where was your Commander-in-Chief?  [Hint:]  At any given moment Obama is either organizing, Alinsky'izing, or golfing.

Obama wants no part of the National Day of Prayer, but he certainly has time for this:
Obama Praises Homosexual 'Spouses' in Gay Gathering at White House.  At the urging of homosexuals gathered at the White House on Wednesday [6/29/2011], President Barack Obama praised gay "spouses" in his speech marking lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender "Pride Month."

First family attends church service.  President Barack Obama took his family to services on Sunday [7/17/2011], walking out of the White House and to a nearby church frequented by presidents.

Jeremiah Wright is the tiny tip of Obama's spiritual iceberg.  It wasn't the sermon that caught me off guard; I was prepared for that.  I had watched video of Wright, giving five of his fiery sermons.  The thing that really got me to thinking, reading and searching for answers was the church bookstore.  Having been a practicing Christian for more than 40 years now, and a practicing Catholic for 26 of those years, I have visited perhaps 100 various Christian bookstores, both Protestant and Catholic.  In all of those places, one thing tied together the books for sale:  Christianity.  Not so in Obama's church bookstore.

Barack Hussein Obama is a Fraud.  Obama is not a Christian.  I do not what his true faith, if any, is.  I do know he is a hypocrite and a liar. ... I do not consider it Christian to abort and kill unborn babies.  It certainly is not Christian to kill babies after they have survived an abortion and are born alive.  Obama continually voted to do this very thing when he was in the Illinois legislature.

Obama says homosexuality is moral.  Sen. Obama released a statement Thursday [3/15/2007], saying, "I do not agree with General Pace that homosexuality is immoral."

Obama's priorities are not those of a Christian.
Obama's war on decency:  [Scroll down]  The second news item was Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton's speech in Geneva on Tuesday [12/6/2011], announcing that American taxpayers will be paying for homosexual activism around the world through a $3 million Global Equality Fund.  That's right.  In a time when the United States is facing massive debt, plus a rising China and militant Islam, we're going to use foreign aid money to promote "gay rights" to the world.

LA Times: 'Obama Has Been a Regular Church-goer For Decades'.  Over at PJ Media's Tatler section, Roger Simon caught Alana Semuels at the Los Angeles Times in what has to be a lead candidate for the Non-Eric Holder howler of the day. ... Simon goes on to cite a Time Magazine item from December 2009, i.e., eleven months into Obama's presidency, called "No Church-Going Christmas for the First Family," in which Amy Sullivan wrote that "The Obamas have attended Sunday services in Washington three times this year."  To understate, most pastors wouldn't call a congregation member who has shown up three times in eleven months a "regular."

The First Family Goes to Church.  Holding hands and smiling despite the 37 degree temperatures, the President Obama and his family walked across the street from the White House to St. John's Episcopal Church today to attend the 11 a.m. service.

Must Be an Election Season: Obama's Walk to Church.  You could probably count on one time the visits the Obama's have made to church this year.  I suspect they'll be making a more obvious show of it in the next 10 months.  This is Obama's response to Rick Perry's last campaign ad.

Gay Couple Receives Obama Congratulations on Wedding.  Matt Katz and Aaron Lafrenz of Brooklyn, N.Y., were surprised to receive a letter from President Barack Obama congratulating them on their marriage.

Obama's Faith Problem.  There has been much ink spilled over President Obama's belief in God (or lack thereof), in the strength of his faith, in questioning what his faith is (Christian, Muslim, other ?), and wondering what church he attends/ will attend.  After almost three years, Americans do not yet have an answer to those questions.  Nor are they likely to since Obama's calculating use of the clergy and religion is usually timed to garner a boost in the polls.

Obamas Visit Black Church Ahead of Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday.  President Barack Obama and his family attended church services on Sunday, continuing their custom of prayer on each Martin Luther King Jr. holiday weekend.  The family does not go to church frequently, but has traditionally spent the holiday occasion at historically black places of worship.  This year, President Obama, first lady Michelle Obama, and daughters Sasha and Malia visited the Zion Baptist Church in Washington for the first time.  Founded in the 1860s, the congregation's historical commission is dedicated to preserving the history of black Christian culture in the District of Columbia.

Obama Heads to Church — Again.  President Obama and his family headed out to church this morning [1/15/2012] for the third time in a month, the latest sign that the president may be using religion to boost his image as the campaign heats up.  Obama has rarely gone to church since becoming president.

First Family Starting to Attend Church Again.  I hate to be a cynic, but there does seem to be something fortuitous about the timing.  The Obamas have rarely spend Sundays worshipping since moving into the White House, but this one marks the third in a month where they have attended service — just in time for election season.

Like many leftists, President Obama has deep contempt for Christianity and democracy.
Obama threatens religious liberty.  Mr. Obama is the most radical president in our history.  He is spearheading a liberal social revolution, not just an economic one.  He supported partial-birth abortion — the heinous procedure of killing babies just before they are to be delivered.  His administration refuses to uphold the Defense of Marriage Act.  He has enabled homosexuals to serve openly in the military, transforming the armed forces into a vast laboratory for social engineering.  His signature legislation, Obamacare, allows for the federal funding of abortion.  Hence, Christians will be forced to have their tax dollars subsidize the mass murder of unborn children — a direct attack on their most basic religious tenets.  He is making Christians complicit in infanticide.

Obamination.  [President Obama] is the first U.S. president in my memory to issue a statement in favor of abortion on the anniversary of Roe v. Wade.  Of all the cherished utterances of our beloved leader the last three years, perhaps none is so divisive and offensive as ... his tribute to the judicial fiat that has resulted in the deaths of more than 40 million Americans, and a testament to his twisted views.

Obama plays his Catholic allies for fools.  Both radicalism and maliciousness are at work in Obama's decision — an edict delivered with a sneer.  It is the most transparently anti-Catholic maneuver by the federal government since the Blaine Amendment was proposed in 1875 — a measure designed to diminish public tolerance of Romanism, then regarded as foreign, authoritarian and illiberal.  Modern liberalism has progressed to the point of adopting the attitudes and methods of 19th-century Republican nativists.  The implications of Obama's choice will take years to sort through.

Is Barack Obama a Red Letter Christian?  Many evangelicals seem taken with Barack Obama.  Tired of the Religious Right and seeking a new tone in Washington, they see in this untested, enigmatic senator a chance for real change.  And indeed he is congenial and a breath of fresh air when compared with the grasping Clinton dynasty.  Many Bible-believers seem ready to look the other way with Obama, despite his extremely liberal voting record (including unfettered backing of abortion), because he appears to be a genuine person they can work with.  I wonder how his latest, religiously based comments might change this.  The other day Obama reiterated his support for civil unions for homosexuals.

Make Way for 'Saint Obama the Pious'.  Some of the true believers at this morning's prayer breakfast must have all but fallen off their chairs when they heard the new Sermon from the Mount from a politician who has admitted he gets his prayer reminders via his Blackberry. ... The same Obama, who is forcing abortion on the Roman Catholic Church, today claims he "often falls to his knees in prayer", and emphasized his religious values in determining where to lead the country.


Obama wants no association with Christianity

Obama Leaves God Out of Thanksgiving Address.  President Obama did not include any reference to God during his weekly address titled, "On Thanksgiving, Grateful for the Men and Women Who Defend Our Country."  His remarks were void of any religious references although Thanksgiving is a holiday traditionally steeped in giving thanks and praise to God.  The president said his family was "reflecting on how truly lucky we truly are."  For many Americans, though, Thanksgiving is a time to reflect on how blessed and thankful they are.

President Obama left someone out of his Thanksgiving message.  Read Lincoln's Thanksgiving message, and then compare it to Obama's 2011 Thanksgiving message.

President Obama ripped by GOPers for leaving out God in his Thanksgiving speech.  President Obama may have created an unholy mess by leaving God out of his Thanksgiving speech.  Conservative pundits are blasting the commander-in-chief for having no religious references in his weekly Internet address — saying that the Almighty is surely among those we should give thanks to. ... Conservative columnist Ben Shapiro went further, tweeting Obama is a "militant atheist," adding "Unreal that Obama doesn't mention God in Thanksgiving message... to whom does he think we are giving thanks?"

In Socialism We Trust?  Sponsored by Rep. J. Randy Forbes, Virginia Republican, the bill affirms the motto and "encourages its display in public buildings and government institutions."  Mr. Forbes explained that the reminder was needed in light of Mr. Obama's recasting of the motto and also because of the mysterious replacement of the motto at the National Capitol Visitors Center "with stars in a replica of the House Chamber — and cropping an actual picture of the chamber so you could not see the words 'In God We Trust.'"

Obama Admin Opposes Prayer at WWII Memorial.  Republican lawmakers and conservative activists are expressing outrage after the Obama administration announced its objection to adding President Franklin Roosevelt's D-Day prayer to the World War II Memorial in Washington, D.C.  The objection was noted during a congressional hearing on Rep. Bill Johnson's (R-OH) bill — the "World War II Memorial Prayer Act of 2011."

Air Force Retracted Invitation for Conservative Leader to Speak at Prayer Luncheon.  The U.S. Air Force admits that the chaplain's office at Andrews Air Force Base retracted an invitation to Family Research Council President Tony Perkins — a former Marine officer — to speak at a prayer luncheon held at the base on Thursday [2/25/2010] after the conservative leader criticized President Obama's efforts to end "Don't Ask Don't Tell" — the military policy on homosexuality.

'Tis The Season For The Tyranny Of The Minority.  President Obama said on a visit to Turkey in April that Americans "do not consider ourselves a Christian nation, or a Muslim nation, but rather a nation of citizens who are, uh, bound by a set of values." ... This statement was reiterated several times between then and April and would seem to indicate that the president is downplaying the role of Christianity in our country.

Away with the manger.  Even in Obama's superstar Christmas interviews with Oprah and Gloria Estefan, there were discussions about Santa, Christmas trees, ornaments, gingerbread houses and even their dog's Christmas stocking.  Obama even gave a Christmas shout-out to all Hispanics.  But there was not one discussion of religion or a hint of the real reason for the season.

Georgetown Says It Covered Over Name of Jesus to Comply With White House Request.  Georgetown University says it covered over the monogram "IHS" — symbolizing the name of Jesus Christ — because it was inscribed on a pediment on the stage where President Obama spoke at the university on Tuesday [4/14/2009] and the White House had asked Georgetown to cover up all signs and symbols there.

Georgetown Did Not Cover Over Name of Jesus When First Lady Laura Bush Spoke.  As First Lady, Laura Bush spoke at Georgetown University in front of the same "IHS" — a symbol for the name of Jesus  — that the Jesuit school covered over when President Barack Obama spoke there on Tuesday.

Covering up the cross.  What's wrong, what's tasteless, what's impudent, is to request that a religious institution hide its religion.  That strikes us as unnatural, artificial, and in the end an act of intolerance, for it requires others to sacrifice their integrity to please our absolute devotion to our own, uncompromising creed — in this case, a blank, official, established secularism. ... A gracious guest, and Mr. Obama was the guest in this instance, does not begin his visit by redecorating his host's house.  The sight of the university's seal as he spoke should not have offended, for it is the university's own, not a government establishment of religion.

White House, Georgetown Say Covering Over Name of Jesus Was Unintended Consequence.  CNSNews.com attempted to get a comment from the White House Wednesday about the covering up of the "IHS" symbol, but the White House did not respond.

Georgetown University Hid Religious Symbols at White House Request.  Georgetown University hid a religious inscription representing the name of Jesus during President Obama's address there Tuesday, FOXNews.com has confirmed, because White House staff asked the school to cover up all religious symbols and signs while the president was on stage.

WH: No Religious Cover-up at Georgetown.  The White House is taking some heat today from conservative and Catholic bloggers who noticed that while President Obama delivered remarks on the economy at Georgetown University Tuesday, a monogram that is a symbol for the name Jesus was covered up behind him.  CNSNews.com, a conservative web site affiliated with the Media Research Center, reported that the gold "IHS" monogram inscribed in Georgetown's Gaston Hall was covered by a piece of black-painted plywood.

Obama White House ordered coverup of religious symbols for Georgetown speech.  Surprising word today that President Barack Obama's White House asked Georgetown University to cover all religious symbols at the scene of the president's economic speech at the Roman Catholic institution Wednesday [4/15/2009].  And the prestigious Jesuit university agreed.  The decision, unnoticed at the time, seems likely to add further fuel to the ongoing controversy over Obama's upcoming graduation speech at the University of Notre Dame, where the Jesuit Indiana campus is plastered with numerous religious symbols.

Rendering Unto Caesar.  At the request of the White House, Georgetown University covered up all the symbols in Gaston Hall, before the Great Man spoke, including IHS, the millennia-old monogram for the name of Jesus Christ.  Ignatius of Loyola, founder of the Society of Jesus, had adopted the monogram in his seal and it became an emblem of the Jesuit order.

DNC Chairman Denies Obama Admin Requested Christ Symbol Cover-Up.  Is this the new politics Barack Obama promised to bring to Washington?  His hand-picked DNC Chairman just went on national TV and denied that the Obama administration requested Georgetown University to cover up the IHS monogram representing the name of Christ.

Obama Vetoes Religion in the Public Square.  The effort of America's Founders to prevent the establishment of a state religion has been twisted and reinterpreted to create an increasingly large gulf between religion and public life.  That gulf became even wider this past week, when President Obama's administration asked Georgetown University to remove all signs and symbols from their hall before the President delivered his speech to the assembly.  The University was only too willing to strip the hall of its religious symbols in order to land such a prominent speaker.  The message was clear:  religion has no place in the public square.

When color trumps Christianity.  President Obama hosted a reception at the White House celebrating LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender) Pride month.  Black Christians should take note and learn a few things about our black President.  As they say, we are what we do.  It tells us something that Mr. Obama had no time to host an event for the National Day of Prayer.  Nor did he have time to accept the invitation to convey greetings and a few remarks to the couple hundred thousand who came to Washington, as they do every January, for the March for Life.  However, the LGBT Pride event did make it onto the president's busy schedule.

Air Force Denies Request for Flyover at Christian Festival.  An Idaho community had secured an Air Force flyover for its local festival every year for more than 40 years, organizers say, but this year, the Air Force turned the request down over the festival's religious focus.  The God and Country Family Festival in Nampa, Idaho, applied to the Pentagon for the flyover but was denied in an e-mail, board member Patti Syme told KTBV.  Syme said the e-mail from a defense official informed her the Pentagon prohibited support of special interest groups.

The White House tries to take the Christ out of Christmas.  Did the supposedly proud Christian president really want to remove the nativity scene from the White House?  It's been a fairly standard middle-American concern for decades that liberals have tried to suck religious holidays of all meaning.  I can't imagine what the president was thinking from either the standpoint of someone who has been at pains to assert he is a believing Christian or a president simply concerned with practical politics.

N.Y. Times Downplays 'Non-Religious Christmas' Plans at White House.  Maybe they didn't know it, but The New York Times left a Christmas bomb in paragraph 12 of its syrupy Sunday story on Desiree Rogers, the bumbling Obama social secretary. ... In a description of how Rogers would make sure the White House was "Obama-tized," Stolberg noted Rogers would bend tradition to make Christmas much more secular in the new era.

Obama's 'Most Important Message'?  As I wrote last week, I knew that President Barack Obama's Christian message in his Christmas address was going to be the weakest in presidential history.  But never did I expect to hear him dodge children on the main message of Christmas and then teach them a revised version.

Disinvited.  When the Air Force chaplain's office rescinded its invitation to Tony Perkins to keynote a military families' prayer luncheon, it should have been over something truly dreadful.  Disinvitation is serious business; usually, once an offer has been made and accepted, hospitality is supposed to kick in.  So what did Perkins, a former Marine and president of the Family Research Council, do to offend the Air Force chaplaincy?

With 'Social Justice' You Don't Get Egg Roll.  Since Obama thinks that the United States is no longer a Christian nation, you have to wonder how long the White House will continue calling it an "Easter Egg Roll."  Maybe next year they'll call it "The White House Diversity and Tolerance Non-Discrimination Spring Roll," and only kids from parochial schools will be uninvited.

Where are the 'separation of church and state' people now?
The Green Shepherd.  If the Obama administration has its way, the gospel of climate change will be coming to a pulpit near you.  That at least seems to be the dream of the President's Advisory Council on Faith-Based and Neighborhood Partnerships — a 25-member group of leaders from across the religious spectrum that is part of the White House Office of Faith-Based and Neighborhood Partnerships.

Obama Missed a Great Chance.  President Obama had a golden Memorial Day opportunity to show the country that (contrary to his left flank) he is not anti-military and not anti-Christian, by telling Attorney General Eric Holder to order the Park Service to permit volunteer veterans to replace the Mojave Cross that was stolen on May 9.  But he let the atheists and those who sneer at our veterans win the day.

President Obama:  Muslim Missionary?  Speaking for most Founding Fathers in his day, John Jay, the first chief justice of the U.S. Supreme Court, appointed by George Washington himself, said, "Providence has given to our people the choice of their rulers, and it is the duty, as well as the privilege and interest, of a Christian nation to select and prefer Christians for their rulers."  Two hundred years later, President Barack Obama has denied America's rich Judeo-Christian heritage before the eyes and ears of other countries, as he publicly declared in Turkey on April 6, 2009, "We do not consider ourselves a Christian nation."

The un-faith of Obama.  In the past year alone he made a big deal out of hosting a celebratory dinner to open the month of Ramadan — held in the state dining room; he refused to attend the 100th anniversary of the Boy Scouts (an avowed Christian organization), and, refused to attend the National Day of Prayer because he claimed to do so would be offensive to non-Christians.  News flash Mr. President:  your continued snubbing of all things Christian is highly offensive and troubling to the millions of Christians in America you seem to hold in contempt.

Does President Obama Think Our Rights Come from Our Creator?  The most famous words in the Declaration of Independence — and almost surely the most famous words ever written by an American — read, "We hold these Truths to be self-evident, that all Men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness."  On Friday evening [9/17/2010], when President Obama addressed the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute, he quoted that passage as follows:  "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal [pause], endowed with certain unalienable rights:  life and liberty, and the pursuit of happiness."  In Obama's version, there is no "Creator."

Obama Again Omits 'Creator' When Speaking of 'Inalienable Rights'.  Just seven days after he sparked controversy by omitting the word "Creator" when he closely paraphrased the passage from the Declaration of Independence that says all men "are endowed by their Creator with certain inalienable rights," President Barack Obama again omitted the Creator when speaking about the "inalienable rights" that "everybody is endowed with."  This time the president was speaking at a Sept. 22 fundraiser for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) and the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee (DSCC) at the Roosevelt Hotel in New York City, and his reference to "inalienable rights" was not as close a paraphrasing of the Declaration as it had been the week before.

Obama Strips the 'Creator' from Declaration of Independence -- Again.  For the second time in little over a month, President Barack Obama stripped the word "Creator" from the Declaration of Independence when giving a speech.

Obama Edits the Declaration of Independence.  An October 19 article at CNSnews by Penny Star noted that "For the second time in little over a month, President Barack Obama stripped the word 'Creator' from the Declaration of Independence when giving a speech."  These speeches have generated much debate concerning whether the president's omissions were deliberate or mistaken.  The answer, I think, can be found in President Obama's inauguration speech, which is perhaps the most striking example of this phenomenon, yet no one seemed to notice it then.

Obama muffed U.S. motto.  Members of Congress on Monday [12/6/2010] called on President Obama to issue a public correction after he incorrectly labeled E pluribus unum the U.S.'s motto in a speech last month, rather than "In God We Trust."  The lawmakers, members of the Congressional Prayer Caucus, also said the president was making "a pattern" of dropping the word "Creator" when he recites the self-evident truths of the Declaration of Independence.  "By misrepresenting things as foundational as the Declaration of Independence and our national motto, you are not only doing a disservice to the people you represent you are casting aside an integral part of American society," the representatives said in a stern letter asking for him to correct the speech.

This pattern of behavior clearly shows that President Obama is either dishonest or ignorant.

Obama's revisionist history.  President Barack Obama has been accused of rewriting the Constitution to get his agenda in place.  Now he's also rewording the Declaration of Independence.  The Heritage Foundation notes that in three recent appearances, the president has quoted the opening passage of the document, but has changed the phrase "endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights" to simply "endowed with certain unalienable rights."  Heritage suggests Obama's editing out of the Creator is an intentional downplaying of private institutions such as religion in an effort to make government more significant.  Maybe.  Or it could reflect his obsession with political correctness.

President Obama's Speech Impediment.  Our Dear Leader has a serious speech impediment.  Now, I'm not thinking about the mechanics of his highly overrated style and presentation, but rather his apparent inability to pronounce a particular word:  Creator.  On three separate occasions, within the last few months, he has quoted that immortal phrase from the Declaration ("...that they are endowed by their Creator with certain inalienable Rights..."), but omitting the word "Creator."  Now, while this might set aside the suspicion in certain quarters that Obama is indeed a closet Muslim, it gives one pause to reflect on just what is going on here.

Catholic Doctor Explains Native American Prayer He Delivered at Arizona Memorial.  Wednesday night's [1/12/2011] memorial service for the shooting victims in Tucson did not open with a prayer from a Jewish rabbi, a Protestant minister or a Catholic priest — it began with a Native American "blessing" that left many puzzled about what it meant and why it was performed.  The prayer, which did not use the word "God" and did not make the traditional request for God's comfort for the bereaved that many might have expected, did mention the Creator and called for "honoring" the Seven Directions, including "Father Sky" and "Mother Earth" — and remembering our "fellow creatures" who "crawl on the earth" and "slither on the earth."

Franklin Graham Says Obama, Tucson Memorial Service 'Scoffed' at Jesus.  In a speech on Tuesday [1/18/2011] at John Brown University, a private Christian college in Siloam Springs, Ark., the son of the revered evangelist Billy Graham voiced "dismay" at the way the Tucson memorial service was conducted, arguing that it was not as explicitly religious — mainly "Christian" — as those following the Oklahoma City bombing and the 9/11 attacks.  Graham was particularly upset that the Tucson memorial featured a Native American who called upon "father sky and mother earth."

The rot in values that is causing America's decline.  Thrift, hard work, close-knit families, a pioneering spirit, a love of adventure, a rejection of indolence, faith-based ethics, a God-centric society, a belief in spreading freedom and democracy — where did that all go?  Science and math.  Science and math.  President Barack Obama's new mantra is science and math.

WH Fails to Release Easter Proclamation.  President Obama failed to release a statement or a proclamation recognizing the national observance of Easter Sunday, Christianity's most sacred holiday.  By comparison, the White House has released statements recognizing the observance of major Muslim holidays and released statements in 2010 on Ramadan, Eid-ul-Fitr, Hajj, and Eid-ul-Adha.  The White House also failed to release a statement marking Good Friday.  However, they did release an eight-paragraph statement heralding Earth Day.  Likewise, the president's weekend address mentioned neither Good Friday or Easter.

Obama to Christians: Forget you.  President Obama delivered official messages for Passover, Ramadan and Diwali.  But for Easter?  Not so much.  The White House came under fire this week for neglecting to issue official statements for either Easter or Good Friday, though Mr. Obama did take time Friday to address Earth Day, a celebration observed by tens of thousands of pagan worshippers of the earth goddess Gaia. ... He also quoted passages from a historic 1945 sermon delivered by a chaplain in the wake of the fierce fighting on the Japanese island of Iwo Jima but edited out any mention of Jesus.

The Danger in Severing God from America's Identity.  [Scroll down]  Our leader, too, works feverishly to sever the relationship between God and America, and to downplay the latter's reliance on the former.  Consider that Barack Obama has gone out of his way on numerous occasions to describe that "we are no longer a Christian nation."  Or consider that he has wished goodwill to Muslims around the world on the uniquely Islamic holidays of Ramadan, Eid-ul-Fitr, Hajj, and Eid-ul-Adha, but failed this past weekend to offer the same courtesy to American Christians to commemorate the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Obama Strikes God from the Declaration Again.  This weekend, President Obama once again omitted the Declaration of Independence's reference to the "Creator," this time while celebrating an international sanction of the homosexual and transgender lifestyle.  Ironically, in doing so, he proved the truth of the Bible.

Obama's Christian problem.  Those who are more devout give Mr. Obama lower marks than those for whom religion is unimportant.  According to the most recent Gallup data, Mr. Obama has 43 percent approval of those who attend church "seldom or never," which is 2 points above that survey's national average.  Among those who attend church weekly, his approval rate is 34 percent, seven points below average.  It's no mystery why America's Christian faithful have little faith in Mr. Obama.

Obama's war on decency.  Three incidents in recent days tell us all we need to know about the Obama administration's "values."  On Dec. 1, the story broke that Bethesda-based Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, where wounded veterans convalesce, apparently had banned visitors from bringing in Bibles or other religious items.  Walter Reed's Chief of Staff C.W. Callahan issued a memo in September that said, "No religious items (i.e., Bibles, reading material, and/or artifacts) are allowed to be given away or used during a visit."  Telling wounded soldiers and their families that their First Amendment freedoms have been suspended should be a firing offense.

U.S. Capitol Christmas Tree Pays Homage to Obama — But Not Jesus.  The 63-foot Sierra White Fir lighted at the U.S. Capitol Grounds on Dec. 6 as the official 2011 Capitol Christmas Tree includes a prominently displayed ornament paying homage to President Barack Obama, but includes no ornament readily visible to a person standing near the tree's base that uses the word "Christmas," or includes an image of the Nativity, or bears the name or image of Jesus Christ.  On the north side of the tree — at a height of about 4 feet and easily visible to people standing near it — there is an ornament that says:  "I ♥ President Obama."

At last a mention for Christmas.  The Obamas were last week mocked for having sent out a Christmas card, featuring their dog Bo, containing no discernible mention of Christmas itself.  They also sent out a secular card in 2009.

Obama snubs the National Day of Prayer

Obama to be prayer day no-show.  President Obama is distancing himself from the National Day of Prayer by nixing a formal early morning service and not attending a large Catholic prayer breakfast the next morning.  All Mr. Obama will do for the National Day of Prayer, which is Thursday [5/7/2009], is sign a proclamation honoring the day, which originated in 1952 when Congress set aside the first Thursday in May for the observance.

Obama to Mark National Day of Prayer Privately.  White House spokesman Robert Gibbs defended the Obama administration's plan to recognize the National Day of Prayer on Thursday with a paper proclamation, rather than a public event at the White House.  "We're doing a proclamation, which I know that many administrations in the past have done," Gibbs told reporters Tuesday.

Obama's prayer snub brings reproach.  "We are disappointed at the lack of emphasis on prayer at the National Day of Prayer," James Dobson, founder of Focus on the Family, told reporters at the Cannon House Office Building after a three-hour prayer observance.  "There are tens of millions of people praying across this country — 40,000 prayer events taking place today — and yet for the first time since 1993, the White House did not even send a representative of the Cabinet to the National Day of Prayer.

Obama's National Day of Prayer Proclamation Mentions God Only Once.  President Barack Obama issued a proclamation on Thursday afternoon — as required by federal law — marking the day as National Day of Prayer, but the proclamation is in contrast to the original proclamation making the first Thursday in May a national day of prayer and fasting.  Press Secretary Robert Gibbs said Obama would issue a proclamation but that he did not plan any public appearances or meetings with religious leaders as President George W. Bush did each year of his administration.

Dobson: Super Bowl Teams Welcome at White House, but 'Celebrating Prayer is Ignored'.  Evangelical leader Dr. James Dobson said President Obama's snub of Thursday's National Day of Prayer left Christians "disappointed" — and a bit puzzled.  "When a professional baseball team wins the World Series, or when the Super Bowl is played, or when college teams win the national championship, they're invited to the White House to celebrate," Dobson said at a Capitol Hill news conference.  "That's important, apparently.  But celebrating prayer, which is our heritage, is ignored."

White House Christmas Decorations?  Yes.  White House Christmas Card?  No.  A Republican lawmaker with a mission to save Christmas is aiming his latest salvo at President and first lady Obama, who've followed in a recent tradition to eliminate the mention of Christmas in the White House holiday cards.  The card selected by the Obamas announces:  "Season's Greetings."  Inside, it reads:  "May your family have a joyous holiday season and a new year blessed with hope and happiness."

Lawmaker Calls for Hearings into Pentagon's 'Politically Correct' Decisions.  A conservative Republican congressman from Georgia is calling for congressional hearings to investigate actions by the U.S. military in recent weeks to cancel or rescind invitations that had been made to two prominent conservative Christian leaders — Franklin Graham and Tony Perkins — to speak at military prayer events.

White House Censoring Christianity?  Two high-profile cancellations by the Pentagon of speeches from prominent Christian leaders have many outraged over censorship of Christianity by a politically-correct military.  Family Research Council President Tony Perkins and Rev. Franklin Graham both recently had invitations to speak at prayer events hosted by the Air Force and the Army revoked.

The President wants nothing to do with the National Day of Prayer, but...
Obama greets people on Diwali.  US President Barack Obama on Thursday [11/4/2010] greeted people across the globe on the occasion of Diwali and said that he is looking forward to his India visit.

Call me a hayseed, but I had never heard of Diwali.  Apparently it is a five-day festival that is important to Hinduism, Sikhism and Jainism.  And evidently it is important to Mr. and Mrs. Obama as well.


Obama's new  pastor  Spiritual Advisor:  Jim Wallis

Evidently Mr. Wallis is not the pastor of a church, per se, so it is apparently fair to say that President Obama still does not go to church, and thus it is still reasonable to wonder if Mr. Obama really is a Christian.  Mr. Wallis is part of a group called Sojourners, which appears to be a group of "community organizers" and anti-war protesters masquerading as a church group.

More problematic pastors for Obama.  The New York Times published an article on the pastors to whom Barack Obama has reached out.  Having thrown his longtime pastor Jeremiah Wright, Junior under the bus during the campaign, when his radical views became a political problem, he is in need of spiritual counsel or a least cover.  The disturbing point is that of the five pastors listed, Jim Wallis is the only one credited with influencing Obama on policy issues.

Sojourning Socialists.  Barack Obama has joined forces with a white socialist he calls a "good friend" — the Rev. Jim Wallis, founder of "Sojourners."  He too believes in "liberation theology," sans the black nationalism.  In fact, Wallis is the white version of Jeremiah Wright, sans the black rage.

Barack Obama's Newest Spiritual Advisor:  Now that he no longer draws spiritual succor from Jeremiah Wright — the America-hating, racist demagogue who served as his pastor and spiritual mentor for twenty years — Barack Obama has turned elsewhere for guidance in the task of carrying out his political duties while remaining true to his religious values.  The most notable of his spiritual advisors today is his friend of many years, Rev. Jim Wallis, founder of the Sojourners organization.  Says Wallis, "We've [he and Obama] been talking faith and politics for a long time."

Soros Has a Pastor Close to Obama On His Payroll.  The tangled web woven by George Soros served as a safety net for Barack Obama when he needed rescue from the exposure of Jeremiah Wright as an America-hating radical.  Pastor Jim Wallis lied about receiving money from George Soros's Open Society Institute.  His organization, Sojourners, is a leftist "social justice" type of ministry.  He and Sojourners have a history with Barack Obama that I have been tracking for a few years.  When the Jeremiah Wright scandal erupted, candidate Barack Obama had to find religion — fast.  Fortunately for him, he had a backup pastor in place and ready to go:  Jim Wallis.

Censoring Questions about Obama's Religion.  In a major liberal initiative to curtail discussion of President Obama's religious identity, over 70 Christian leaders and denominational heads have signed a letter saying that questions about the religious philosophy of the President of the United States should be ignored and suppressed by the major media.  The letter demands that the media "offer no further support or airtime to those who misrepresent and call into question the President's Christian faith."  The apparent initiator of the letter is Obama associate Jim Wallis of the Sojourners group, a group funded by atheist George Soros.

God Wants Welfare (and More Debt)?  Jim Wallis says yes.  After literally decades of failed social policies — policies that have helped create a permanent underclass, fostered a dependent spirit in millions of citizens, and helped explode the illegitimacy rate (all for the low, low price of several trillion dollars) — it would be tempting to roll our eyes at Wallis's christianized socialism.  Unfortunately, however, the evangelical progressive Left is gaining ground in American Christianity.

Is Obama a Muslim?

As I have pointed out elsewhere, Democrats often have difficulty telling the truth when there is a big political prize at stake.  Or any other time.  For example, two of the best known "strangers to the truth" are Bill and Hillary Clinton.  ("It depends upon what the meaning of the word 'is' is.")  Now we have a candidate for the presidency who, besides being a man with a mysteriously blank record in public office, is supported by throngs of young people who are enjoy his warm and fuzzy speeches without ever analyzing what he says, or doesn't say.  One thing Mr. Obama doesn't talk about in his speeches is his Muslim background.  Apparently he thinks we won't notice.  This might have worked 20 years ago, but now the internet makes it possible to recover information from once thought to have been thrown down the memory hole.  Just ask Senators John Kerry, Ted Kennedy, or Robert Byrd.  Or John McCain, for that matter.

Is it possible that Senator Obama is intentionally, consciously lying about his status as a Muslim?  Spend five minutes on the internet and you'll discover that the Koran says it is a virtue to lie to infidels in order to deceive them and defeat them in war.*  Osama Bin Laden declared a holy war on the U.S. years ago.*. So for the duration of the war, it is a mistake to believe anything a Muslim says.  There's a word for this blatant dishonesty — Al-taqiyya.

Is it hard to imagine that Barack Obama really is a Muslim?  We know him by the company he keeps, and if he shares the views of his wife and his pastor, he is a man who sees America as a villain and a global bully.  Those views would make perfect sense if it turns out that he is in fact a Muslim.

If Barack H. Obama was raised as a Muslim, and his father, step-father and siblings are all Muslims, then he is a Muslim until he publicly renounces any association with Islam.  And with the terrorism threat level already at "Elevated" he would probably put himself in jeopardy if he made a very public repudiation of Islam.  Apostasy is not something the Muslims take lightly.  It would be better (safer) for him to take his chances with the voters, and keep distracting them with an assortment of spectacular campaign promises.

Many people believe that this is a ludicrous suggestion because there has been no mention of this idea on television news programs.  But the news media have been very friendly toward Obama, as pointed out on another page.  And in case you haven't noticed, there are a lot of other things that the news media haven't reported.

Is Obama Really a Muslim Slave?  Obama was raised a Muslim.  He became a non-practicing Muslim only when he was told that being a Muslim wouldn't be good for his political career 20 years ago.  So he started occasionally attending Jeremiah Wright's America-hating, church of black liberation theology.  To my knowledge, Obama had never attended, nor been baptized in a real Christian church until his inauguration.  He has consistently sided with the Muslims against Israel, and done nothing to prevent Iran from taking the next step toward their nuclear weapons ambition.  He has consistently promoted Islamic interests in America while siding with the ACLU in opposing Christianity.

Obama Birth Certificate Issue More Urgent Than Ever.  [Scroll down slowly]  Obama denies he's a Muslim but "the accumulated research from primary sources who knew Obama from his childhood indicate that he was a devout Muslim, the son of a devout Muslim, the stepson of a devout Muslim and the grandson and namesake ("Hussein") of a devout Muslim.  He was registered in school in Indonesia as a Muslim and demonstrated his ability to chant praise to Allah in impressive Arab-accented tones even as an adult.  Just as he has not disavowed his 'uncle' Jeremiah, neither has he disavowed the Muslim faith that he was born into and raised in.

Barack Obama Chamberlain.  In Barack Obama, we are witnessing the second coming, not of Christ, but of Neville Chamberlain himself, the embodiment of appeasement. ... We have now witnessed a supposed "re-booting of America's image" in the Muslim world as inaugurated by President Obama's much ballyhooed Cairo speech.  He and the First Lady have treated us to Muslim celebrations and declarations in the White House for Ramadan.  The president has hosted an "Entrepreneur Summit" for Muslim leaders.  He has issued paeans on the inspiring splendors of Islam, "one of the world's great religions."

Obama's religion:  On March 14th, 2007, the Obama Campaign told the LA Times that Obama was not a "practicing Muslim."  But Muslims do not see practice as key.  For them, that Obama was born to a line of Muslim males makes him born a Muslim.  Further, all children born with an Arabic name based on the H-S-N trilateral root (Hussein, Hassan, and others) can be assumed to be Muslim, so they will understand Obama's full name, Barack Hussein Obama, to proclaim him a born Muslim.

Our First Muslim President.  If it is true that Obama was registered in school as a Muslim when he was a child, he could possibly be charged with being an apostate from Islam.  This could give him a unique chance to speak out about the freedom of conscience and the human rights of those who leave Islam — for Muhammad, the prophet of Islam, ordered that apostates from Islam be put to death. ... So is Obama under a death sentence?  Probably not — particularly if he left Islam while still a child.

Barack Obama and Slavery:  Many people seem to the names "Barack" and "Obama" are African names.  They are not.  Baraq [Barack] was the name of the winged horse-like creature that took Mohammed to Paradise in the Night Journey.  Baraq can also mean God's blessing.  Obama is Swahili for Osama, who was one of Mohammed's chief warriors.  Osama also means lion.  Hussein reminds some Americans of Saddam Hussein, and Obama's supporters get upset if it is used.  Hussein was the name of Mohammed's grandson.  So Obama's entire name is based upon Islamic mythology and African conquest.  Barack Hussein Obama means [Allah's blessing] [Mohammed's grandson] [One of Mohammed's finest warriors].

Barack Obama's Muslim Childhood:  Obama asserted in December, "I've always been a Christian," and he has adamantly denied ever having been a Muslim.  "The only connection I've had to Islam is that my grandfather on my father's side came from that country [Kenya].  But I've never practiced Islam." … "Always" and "never" leave little room for equivocation.  But many biographical facts, culled mainly from the American press, suggest that, when growing up, the Democratic candidate for president both saw himself and was seen as a Muslim.

Barack Obama's Muslim links:  He is the product of a black Moslem from Kenya, Barrack Hussein Obama, and a white atheist from Kansas, Shirley Ann Dunham, who met at the University of Hawaii in Honolulu.  That is why his middle name is the same as Saddam's:  Barack Hussein Obama, Jr.  His first name is taken from the Islamic term in Arabic for "blessed," baraka, used in the Koran.  His father deserted the family when Barack Jr. was two and returned to Kenya.  His mother then married another Moslem studying at UH, Lolo Soetoro from Indonesia.  He moved with his mother and stepfather to Jakarta when he was six, where he attended a Moslem medressa (religious school).  That makes him a Moslem.

Why Islamists Cheer For Obama:  Earlier this month, Libya's strongman Muammar Khadafi gave an endorsement speech in which he called Barack Obama a "brother" and expressed his hope that he will "change America from evil to good and that America will establish relations that will serve it well with other people, especially the Arabs."

A Messiah Manufactured by Marxism.  Time is closing in on the 11th hour of Election '08 but the search for the real Obama is still on.  If Obama steps out of the fog through the scavenger hunt for his birth certificate and unanswered questions about his alliance to Islam into the Oval office, he will usher in a new socialist America.  Concerns about Obama, the closet Muslim, fit right in with Obama, the Marxist.  Marxists, always difficult to pin down, work hand in hand with radical Islam.

The Evolution of Slick Barry:  Barack Obama's campaign said he never practiced Islam, and has never been a Muslim.  However, the LA Times found that Obama was registered as a Muslim at both private and public schools he attended, and he also studied at his local Islamic center.  His campaign backtracked and confirmed those facts after the LA Times reported them.

People see in Obama what they want to see — that's a blessing and a curse.  Obama is not a Muslim.  Nonetheless, according to a recent Pew research survey, 12% of Americans still believe that he is.  Another 10% say they have "heard different things".  This is why the New Yorker cartoon portraying Obama as a flag-burning terrorist wasn't that funny.  For satire to work, it has to be edgy.  It fails when it misjudges where the edge is.  When, according to another survey, one in five Democrats with a negative opinion of Obama believes he is a Muslim, we are not talking isolated pockets but mainstream public opinion.

Republican Congressman Stands By Obama Comments; McCain Disavows Him.  Republican Representative Steve King of Iowa stood by his controversial comments on Saturday [3/8/2008] that if Democrat Barack Obama were elected president that Muslim extremists would be jubilant. … "I will tell you that, if he is elected president, then the radical Islamists, the al-Qaida, the radical Islamists and their supporters, will be dancing in the streets in greater numbers than they did on Sept. 11, because they will declare victory in this war on terror," King was quoted as saying by The Daily Reporter in Spencer, Iowa.

Letter from Barack Obama on His Muslim Heritage:  "My father was a Muslim and although I did not know him well the religion of my father and his family was always something I had an interest in.  This interest became more intense when my mother married an Indonesian Muslim man and as a small child I lived in Indonesia and attended school alongside Muslim pupils. … This is what I will bring to the office of the Presidency of the United States.  I will deal with Muslims from a position of familiarity and respect and at this time in the history of our nation that is something sorely needed.

Our First Muslim President.  The Los Angeles Times reported Thursday [3/15/2007] that Barack Obama's campaign seems to be modifying its earlier affirmation that "Senator Obama has never been a Muslim, was not raised a Muslim, and is a committed Christian who attends the United Church of Christ in Chicago."  In a statement to The Times on Wednesday, the campaign offered slightly different wording, saying:  "Obama has never been a practicing Muslim."

Hillary's team has questions about Obama's Muslim background.  Are the American people ready for an elected president who was educated in a Madrassa as a young boy and has not been forthcoming about his Muslim heritage?  This is the question Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton's camp is asking about Sen. Barack Obama.

Obama campaign hires Muslim liaison.  Obama's campaign has created a Muslim liaison, according to two sources familiar with the move. … The job is complicated by the fact that Obama has been forced repeatedly to deny that he is Muslim, a situation that grates on some Muslim-Americans.

Darura:  "Darura" in Arabic means "necessity."  The Arabs and Muslims understand this idea.  "Necessity" can justify even violating explicit prohibitions.  You may, if starving, eat pork, according to some.  You may, if you need to protect the faith, lie to Infidels — lie about Islam itself, lie about your own belief in Islam.

al-Taqiyya:  The word "al-Taqiyya" literally means:  "Concealing or disguising one's beliefs, convictions, ideas, feelings, opinions, and/or strategies at a time of imminent danger, whether now or later in time, to save oneself from physical and/or mental injury."  A one-word translation would be "Dissimulation."

The Art of Al-taqiyya:  Al-taqiyya is a word used for the practice of Muslims blatantly lying to non-Muslims.  Muslims consider the act of Al-taqiyya or lying to non-Muslims to be a good work.  Especially if it helps support the war against the infidel.  In case you've forgotten, you are the infidel, so am I, so is each and every American who is not muslim.

Obama Steers Clear of Michigan Muslims He May Need to Win State.  Muslim- and Arab-Americans represent 4 percent of the vote in Michigan, a battleground in this year's election.  Yet Obama, who has held 13 events in the state during the presidential campaign, hasn't visited a mosque or met with Muslim leaders.

LA Times' Glowing Coverage Of Obama In Full Throttle.  All Indonesian students are required to study religion at school and a young Barry Soetoro, being a Muslim, would have been required to study Islam daily in school.  He would have been taught to read and write Arabic, to recite his prayers properly, to read and recite from the Quran and to study the laws of Islam.  Obama attended two schools in Indonesia and in both he was enrolled as a Muslim — but — was he a practicing Muslim?  The evidence seems to show that both Ann Dunham and her husband Lolo were devout Muslims themselves and they raised their son as such.

Barack Obama's Muslim religion — again.  So why won't Barry just fess up (he was known as Barry Soetoro in Indonesia) and admit he was a Muslim and let the truth wash away his veneer of lies?  No one will hate him for it.  No one really cares except his campaign operation.  And him.  But the longer he keeps denying the truth about his past the more people will remain interested.

Poll:  1 in 10 Get Obama's Religion Wrong.  One in 10 voters believes Barack Obama is Muslim, a mistaken impression that lingers across party lines, a poll showed Wednesday.  Fourteen percent of Republicans, 10 percent of Democrats and 8 percent of independents mistakenly think he is Muslim, according to a survey by the nonpartisan Pew Research Center.

Can a past of Islam change the path to president for Obama?  Although Sen. Barack Obama is a Christian, his childhood and family connections to Islam are beginning to complicate his presidential ambitions.  The Illinois Democrat spent much of last week refuting unfounded reports that he had been educated in a madrassa, or radical Islamic school, when he lived in Indonesia as a boy.  "The Indonesian school Obama attended in Jakarta is a public school that is not and never has been a Madrassa," said a statement put out by the senator's staff.

Farrakhan:  Stick With Obama.  The issue arose Sunday [2/24/2008], when Farrakhan praised Obama before a large Nation of Islam gathering, even comparing him to the religion's founder, Wallace D. Fard Muhammad, who Farrakhan claims also had a white mother and black father.  "A black man with a white mother became a savior to us," Farrakhan said Sunday.  "A black man with a white mother could turn out to be one who can lift America from her fall."  The Obama campaign moved quickly to distance itself from Farrakhan.

Obama's Truthiness About Farrakhan:  The question was about Farrakhan as a package deal.  Did Obama accept his support?  Did Obama reject his support?  So far, no answer.  And this was incredible.  Before a national audience, Obama, whose very candidacy has come to symbolize a promise of "post-racial" "unity" in America, failed to reject the support of arguably the most racist and divisive figure in America.

Did someone mention Louis Farrakhan?

Terrorist Fundraisers for Obama.  Two years ago, Hatem El-Hady was the chairman of the Toledo, Ohio-based Islamic charity, Kindhearts, which was closed by the US government in February 2006 for terrorist fundraising and all its assets frozen.  Today, El-Hady has redirected his fundraising efforts for his newest cause — Barack Obama for President.  El-Hady has his own dedicated page on Barack Obama's official website, chronicling his fundraising on behalf of the Democratic Party presidential candidate.

President Apostate?  As the son of the Muslim father, Senator Obama was born a Muslim under Muslim law as it is universally understood.  It makes no difference that, as Senator Obama has written, his father said he renounced his religion.  Likewise, under Muslim law based on the Koran his mother's Christian background is irrelevant. ... At the very least, that would complicate the security planning of state visits by President Obama to Muslim countries, because the very act of protecting him would be sinful for Islamic security guards.

Malik Obama confirms his half-brother Barack grew up a Muslim.  Apparently the Obamas of Kenya have been reading those scurrilous emails to which Barack likes to refer, because they have no doubt — contrary to the claims of the Obama campaign, that the presidential candidate was raised a Moslem.  They take that as a given.  As the Jerusalem Post reports, "Barack Obama's half brother Malik said Thursday that if elected his brother will be a good president for the Jewish people, despite his Muslim background.

Confirmed:  Barack Obama Practiced Islam.  All this matters, for if Obama once was a Muslim, he is now what Islamic law calls a murtadd (apostate), an ex-Muslim converted to another religion who must be executed.  Were he elected president of the United States, this status, clearly, would have large potential implications for his relationship with the Muslim world.  In sum:  Obama was an irregularly practicing Muslim who rarely or occasionally prayed with his step-father in a mosque.  This precisely substantiates my statement that he "for some years had a reasonably Muslim upbringing under the auspices of his Indonesian step-father."

Obama anti-smear site:  'He was never a Muslim'.  One of the main issues addressed by Obama's "Fight the Smears" site is the contention the Illinois senators was once a Muslim.  "Senator Obama has never been a Muslim, was not raised as a Muslim, and is a committed Christian," states the site.  But as WND reported, public records in Indonesia listed Obama as a Muslim during his early years, and a number of childhood friends claimed to the media Obama was once a mosque-attending Muslim.

Obama takes on the Great Global Blogosphere Conspiracy.  [Scroll down]  We are entitled therefore to ask whether the Muslim world supports him because it believes he is still a Muslim.  We are entitled to ask precisely when he stopped being a Muslim, and why.  Did Obama embrace Christianity as a tactical manoeuvre to get himself elected?  Why indeed has he dissembled about his family background if not for that end?  These multiple known deceptions by someone who may become President of the United States are deeply alarming.

Obama seen as a Muslim overseas.  Americans believe that Barack Obama has every right to become a Christian as an adult and proclaim his faith in Jesus Christ.  Americans understand that true religious identity depends on the faith one accepts.  But we deceive ourselves if we believe the rest of the world thinks this way.  The Muslim world sees it differently.  A baby born to a Muslim father is a Muslim.  One who leaves Islam for another faith is an apostate.  It's scriptural.

Barack Obama's Muslim outreach director quits.  An attorney who volunteered to help Barack Obama improve his relationship with Muslim and Arab-Americans has resigned from the campaign amid questions about his connection to a fundamentalist imam.  Mazen Asbahi started as the campaign's outreach coordinator on July 26, and he resigned in a letter to the campaign Monday [8/4/2008].

Obama's Muslim Affairs Advisor Resigns.  Barack Obama's Muslim Affairs adviser, Chicago lawyer Mazen Asbahi, has resigned after an internet newsletter wrote about his stint on the board of an Islamic investment fund and his involvement in various Islamic groups.

'Muslim bashers' hit for resignation.  America's largest Islamic civil liberties group on Wednesday defended Sen. Barack Obama after the Democratic presidential candidate's Muslim-outreach coordinator resigned because of a brief association with a suspected Muslim extremist.

Obama's Islamist Problem:  The question is why would Barak Obama's campaign — which has prevented Muslim women wearing headcoverings from being in the background of photographs with the candidate and which recently fired a Muslim-outreach coordinator who had ties to another unindicted HLF co-conspirator — allow itself to be put in such company?  Presumably, the response will be one heard from the Bush administration:  ISNA is a large, "mainstream" Muslim-American organization that is an appropriate vehicle for outreach to that community.

Obama's Muslim Connection Won't Go Away.  Obama has denied he is a Muslim or ever was a practicing Muslim.  The basis of the "rumor" germinates with Obama's father, who was a Muslim, though Obama claims he was non-practicing.  Adding to the mix is Obama's full name, Barack Hussein Obama, which is an Arabic name. ... Reports dating back as far as early 2007 held that Obama was educated at a radical Islamic school in Indonesia.  Press accounts revealed that in fact, Obama first attended a Catholic school for almost three years.  However, his mother registered him in the school as a Muslim.

Obama Adviser Meets With Syria.  Tony Badran, an expert on Lebanon and Syria for the Defense of Democracies, was not surprised [Daniel] Kurtzer was meeting with the Syrians.  He likened the meeting to other informal lobbying efforts done on Syria's behalf.  "It's not a secret that the Syrians are openly banking on Barack Obama," Badran told the Sun.

Top 5 Pitfalls for Citizen O:  Die-hard Democrats love the idea that their candidate is so global that he's the very embodiment of America's melting pot.  But so varied are Obama's roots that questions persist about whether he is Muslim and if he's really even American.

I would never say 'my Buddhist faith'.  I am a Christian.  If I were in an interview or otherwise, I would never even think of saying "my Buddhist faith" or "my New Age faith" or "my Episcopalian faith."  I am none of these.  I have never intended to be one of these.  I never plan on being one of these.  I have never thought of myself under these labels.  Therefore, I would never let slip out of lips any such confession.  Yet B. Hussein did just that.  He said "my Muslim faith."

Obama's verbal slip fuels his critics.  Sen. Barack Obama's foes seized Sunday upon a brief slip of the tongue, when the Democratic presidential nominee was outlining his Christianity but accidentally said, "my Muslim faith."  The three words — immediately corrected — were during an exchange with ABC's George Stephanopoulos on "This Week," when he was trying to criticize the quiet smear campaign suggesting he is a Muslim.

In stunning slip on national TV, Obama refers to "my muslim faith".  In one of the most astonishing gaffes in American political history, in a national televised interview with ABC's George Stephanopoulus, Democratic presidential candidate Barack Hussein Obama referred to "my muslim faith," confirming what researchers and political opponents have been claiming.  While Stephanopoulus several seconds later tried to correct him, saying "Christian faith," it was too late.  The damage was done.

Obama's Childhood:  Praying to Saints and Bowing in Mosques.  In his childhood, Obama was registered as a Muslim and bowed toward a mosque on Fridays while praying to a Catholic saint on other days, according to a 2007 report in The Los Angeles Times.  Obama's chief spokesman, Robert Gibbs, was careful in an earlier statement to emphasize that he was raised in a secular household in Indonesia by his stepfather and mother.

Barack Obama through Muslim Eyes:  How do Muslims see Barack Hussein Obama?  They have three choices:  either as he presents himself — someone who has "never been a Muslim" and has "always been a Christian"; or as a fellow Muslim; or as an apostate from Islam.  Reports suggests that while Americans generally view the Democratic candidate having had no religion before converting at Reverend Jeremiah Wrights's hands at age 27, Muslims the world over rarely see him as Christian but usually as either Muslim or ex-Muslim.

Strange case of Obama birth record.  The question is:  Where there's smoke is there fire, or just a smokescreen?  Barack Obama said to George Stephanopoulos, "John McCain has not talked about my Muslim faith..." on ABC's "This Week."  The Obamas have an odd practice of not giving their daughters birthday gifts — birthday gifts are forbidden under Shariah law.  Mr. Obama is not a stupid man.  He misspoke and said there are 57 American states.  There are 57 states in the Organization of the Islamic Conference.

Can Obama Win the "Values Voter?"  A sizable number of Americans suspect Obama is lying about Islamic roots.  A Newsweek poll in June found that 12 percent of voters are convinced Obama is a Muslim, and one-in-four believe he was raised a Muslim.  Such thinking has intensified with Jerome Corsi's bestselling book and with research by Islam observers like Daniel Pipes — who, though he accepts that Obama is today a Christian, says Obama is "lying" when he denies he was never a Muslim.  Additional oddities continue to surface, such as YouTube video in which Moammar Kaddafi is said to describe Obama as a fellow Muslim.

Apparently the Muslims believe Obama is a Muslim.
My Muslim President Obama.  I know President Obama is not Muslim, but I am tempted nevertheless to think that he is, as are most Muslims I know.  In a very unscientific oral poll, ranging from family members to Muslim acquaintances, many of us feel, just as African-Americans did for the non-black but culturally leaning African-American President Bill Clinton, that we have our first American Muslim president in Barack Hussein Obama.

Suddenly Obama has Muslim roots.  During the U.S presidential campaign, Barack Obama's handlers vigourously pointed out his Christian faith whenever the misconception arose he may be Muslim (even though the politically correct response should have been his religion doesn't matter). ... Once elected, however, he personally insisted on his middle name being spoken at his swearing-in ceremony.  And now — in a gesture to the Muslim world — he has not only granted the first sit-down interview of his presidency to a pan-Arab television network, but uses the occasion to gush about his Muslim ties.

Obama unable to shake Muslim myth.  In a series of four surveys conducted during the last year, 12 percent consistently said the president is a Muslim.  The number of evangelical Protestants with that belief — 19 percent — also has remained unchanged.  The same is true for Republicans:  17 percent said Mr. Obama was Muslim in 2008, as they do now.  Among blacks, 6 percent say he is Muslim, down from 10 percent.  Among Democrats, the number is 7 percent, down from 9 percent.  Less than half of Americans — 48 percent — say Mr. Obama is a Christian, down from 51 percent.  Thirty-five percent don't know what religion he is; no one classified him as an atheist.

11% of Americans believe Obama is a Muslim.  A poll conducted by Pew Research in March shows that over one in 10 Americans still believe President Barack Obama is a Muslim.  That number is only slightly lower than the results of a poll conducted by Pew last October.  White evangelical Protestants (19%) and Republicans (17%) are among the most likely to view Obama as a Muslim, according to the poll.

Obama highlights his Muslim roots in Turkey speech.  President Barack Obama launched a major outreach initiative to Islam on Monday [4/7/2009], urging Muslims to join America in fighting common enemies.  And signaling the strategic importance of the U.S. alliance with this majority-Muslim country, the president made a sharp retreat from a campaign promise to press Turkey on the issue of Armenian genocide.  "Let me say this as clearly as I can:  The United States is not at war with Islam," Obama said.  "In fact, our partnership with the Muslim world is critical in rolling back a fringe ideology that people of all faiths reject."

Obama sells himself to sell U.S..  During his presidential campaign, Barack Hussein Obama rarely made an appearance.  He spoke little of his childhood in Indonesia, or his Muslim relatives.  He battled rumors that he is Muslim.  He struggled to appear not as somehow exotic but as the everyman.  But as he embarks on a new campaign to win over the Muslim world, Obama is calling attention to the nontraditional aspects of his upbringing like never before...

The Emergence of President Obama's Muslim Roots.  Given widespread unease and prejudice against Muslims among Americans, especially in the wake of 9/11, the Obama campaign was perhaps understandably very sensitive during the primaries and general election to downplay the candidate's Muslim roots. ... Since the election, however, with the threat of the rumors at least somewhat abated, the White House has been increasingly forthcoming about the president's roots.  Especially when reaching out to the Muslim world.

Obama Nation's Low View of Christianity:  Over the past three years, Obama has made it his business to insist that "we are no longer a Christian nation."  He has said it in many places, here and abroad. ... During the presidential campaign, the media pounced on anyone who inquired into Obama's Muslim upbringing in Indonesia, his two Muslim fathers or his later 20-year attendance at radical pastor Jeremiah Wright's Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago.  Now, his Muslim roots are touted as an asset.  No one can say for sure what Obama actually believes, since only God can know the human heart.  So we are left examining his words and actions.

America's first Muslim president?.  With Mr. Obama's unbelievably ballyhooed address in Cairo Thursday [6/4/2009] to what he calls "the Muslim world" (hereafter known as "the Speech"), there is mounting evidence that the president not only identifies with Muslims, but actually may still be one himself.  Consider the following indicators:  Mr. Obama referred four times in his speech to "the Holy Koran."  Non-Muslims — even pandering ones — generally don't use that Islamic formulation.

The ISNA Conference.  Last year I attended the ISNA Conference in Ohio. There were an estimated 30,000 plus Muslims who attended the conference ... There were hundreds of vendors, and since the conference was being held only a couple of months before the 2008 Presidential Election, there was an enormous outpouring of support for Barack Obama.  Non profit organizations are not supposed to favor any certain political candidate, of course.  In 2008 ISNA had several booths with anti-American slogans on shirts, along with pro-Hamas, pro-Palestinian, and anti-Israel garments.  In addition Barack Hussein Obama material was in abundance.

Obama Bows and Sells Out to Saudi Royals.  [Obama's] speech in Cairo was like a coming out announcement by a Muslim debutante.  He said about himself all the things no one else was allowed to say about him before the election when some Americans may have had reservations about a president so steeped in Islamic culture.

Suborned in the U.S.A.  [Scroll down slowly]  The aforementioned Indonesian interval in Obama's childhood is instructive.  Obama and the media worked in tireless harmony to refute any indication that he had ever been a Muslim.  It's now apparent, however, not only that he was raised as a Muslim while living for four years in the world's most populous Islamic country, but that he very likely became a naturalized citizen of Indonesia. ... Under Indonesian law, adoption before the age of six by an Indonesian male qualified a child for citizenship. ... Obama attended Indonesian elementary schools, which, in Suharto's police state, were generally reserved for citizens (and students were required to carry identity cards that matched student registration information).  The records of the Catholic school Obama/Soetoro attended for three years identify him as a citizen of Indonesia.  Thus Obama probably obtained Indonesian citizenship through his adoption by Soetoro in Hawaii. ... In any event, the records of the Catholic school and the public school Obama attended during his last year in Indonesia identify him as a Muslim.

Who?  Perhaps the president is too cowed by the political-correctness crowd or too personally uncomfortable to name our enemy.  Apparently our commander-in-chief can't quite get out the words "Islamic fundamentalists" or "Islamic fascists" or "Islamic" anything.  This is a very, very bad sign.

Obama's Cowardly Fort Hood Speech.  [Scroll down]  At no point during his speech did he mutter any words that describe the enemy we continue to face.  He spoke vaguely of "twisted logic" and "extremists", but failed to point the finger directly at Islam.  If we didn't know any better, we wouldn't have a clue who or what he was talking about.

Ignoring Infiltration.  [Scroll down]  Obama has confronted the crisis with yet another serving of Hope and Change rhetoric.  We shouldn't "jump to conclusions," says O., giving no notion of what those conclusions might be.  He goes on to praise the "diversity" of the armed forces, as if the fact that Hasan the Assassin's victims came from different backgrounds somehow makes things better.

Report:  Obama said 'I Am a Muslim'.  "The American President told me in confidence that he is a Muslim."  That was the claim of Egyptian Foreign Minister Ahmed Aboul Gheit, as reported in the May 2010 issue of Israel Today.  According to journalist Avi Lipkin, Gheit appeared on Nile TV's "Round Table Show" in January, on which he said that "he had had a one-on-one meeting with Obama who swore to him that he was a Moslem, the son of a Moslem father and step-son of Moslem step-father, that his half-brothers in Kenya were Moslems, and that he was loyal to the Moslem agenda."

Islam:  Antithetical to Religious Freedom.  The religious allegiance of Barack Hussein Obama has been the subject of intense debate across the United States.  Is Obama, who was raised a Muslim, a committed Muslim or a Christian convert?  A Harris Poll conducted in March of 2010, revealed that fully 57% of all Republicans and 32% of Americans overall believe that Obama is a Muslim.  In 2008, a University of Texas survey found that 23% of Texans were convinced that Barack Obama is a Muslim.

Obama The Muslim.  President Obama says there is nothing more beautiful than the Muslim call to prayer in the evening.  He says that the United States was not founded as a Christian nation.  Obama's father and step-father were Muslims and he spent his childhood living in a Muslim country where his school enrollment records say his religion is Islam.  As President of the United States he genuflects to the Muslim King of Saudi Arabia but not the Christian Queen of England.  He thumbs his nose at America's friends and bows to its enemies.  In short, Obama quacks like a Muslim, waddles like a Muslim and acts like a Muslim, so is he a Muslim?

The First Un-American President.  "As a citizen, and as president, I believe that Muslims have the same right to practice their religion as anyone else in this country." — Barack Hussein Obama, spoken at a White House dinner to celebrate the beginning of Ramadan! ... This statement regarding the defiling of Ground Zero, favoring a mosque where the same religion that spawned the 9/11 killers would be preached, may finally convince the deniers that Obama is and always has been a Muslim.

President Obama:  Muslim Missionary?  President Obama is not just rebooting America's image in the Muslim world.  He's deepening and expanding Islamic belief, practice and culture around the world, like a Muslim missionary.

Rev. Franklin Graham:  President Obama 'born a Muslim'.  The Rev. Franklin Graham on Friday [8/20/2010] said that President Barack Obama was "born a Muslim" because the religion's "seed" is passed from the father.  Graham made the remark during an interview with CNN's John King set to air Friday night after being asked about a new Pew poll showing that 31 percent of Republicans believe the president — a Christian — is Muslim.

He's Not a Muslim!  ("Not that There's Anything Wrong with That")  So now we have a president haunted by the idea that he is really a Muslim — and not a Christian at all.  How delicious it is that his blatantly secular liberal supporters are totally impotent at fighting this battle for him — given that so many Americans take faith seriously?  And going back to Wright's Trinity Church will not help.  There will be no Jesus Cred available there.  Listen to the tapes or order the books.  You will simply find Black Liberation Theology and Marxism and so on.

Growing number of Americans believe Obama a Muslim.  There is a lot of media handwringing this morning over a poll indicating 18 percent of the American public (up from 11 percent in March, 2009) believe President Obama is a Muslim. ... None of the above journos mention the memorable moment when Obama spoke of "my Muslim faith."  Nor his striking bow before the Saudi King — the protector of Mecca and Medina.  Then there is the small matter of Obama's ditching any Christian religious observance since leaving Trinity United Church, headed by Louis Farrakhan-honoring, America-hating pastor Jeremiah Wright.

Obama Akbar.  The media is all worked up over a poll that shows the majority of Americans don't think Obama is a Christians and nearly a [quarter] of Americans think that Obama is a Muslim. ... In short, Obama's family on his father's side is Muslim.  He grew up with a Muslim stepfather in a Muslim country.  Then he went to Trinity Church and found a mentor there in the form of Jeremiah Wright.  Wright was a former Black Muslim, his sermons still sound more Muslim than Christian, with their rantings about America, and obvious bigotry.  Obama's church was Muslim influenced, which may have attracted him to it and to Wright.  Take all this together, and it's not too surprising why some people would have the perception that Obama is Muslim, in part or in whole.

Barack Obama:  Christian In Name Only (CINO)?  Consider Obama's actions since 1/20/09:
 •  Immediately called for shut down of GITMO.
 •  Called for terrorists to be tried by civilian juries, rather than military, including Miranda rights and other rights conferred on citizens.
 •  Once in office, rushed off to a Muslim nation to deliver a speech in which he declared that America is "not" a Christian nation.
 •  Changed policy toward Israel such that that nation is treated like a gang of terrorists.
 •  Supports, or at least does not oppose, the mosque at Ground Zero.

Americans think Obama is Islamic for a reason.
The first presumed Muslim president.  Hard on the heels of the Ground Zero Mosque controversy, significant numbers of Americans think President Obama is a Muslim.  The uncomfortable fact for the White House is the more the American people get to know Mr. Obama, the more they think he is a follower of Islam.

Obama has himself to blame for Muslim problem.  [Scroll down]  The number of people who say they don't know Obama's religion is growing, from 32 percent back then to 43 percent today.  The White House blames the situation on a "misinformation campaign" from Obama's opponents.  But Obama and his aides might also blame themselves for the way they've handled the Muslim issue over the years.

Obama's choice:  Boy Scouts or Islam.  President Obama couldn't bring himself to observe the National Day of Prayer or spend time with the Boy Scouts of America, but God forbid, he couldn't miss the Muslim Iftar Ramadan dinner, or pass up a chance to praise an Islamic center a stone's throw away from Ground Zero.  He later backed down — a bit.  One has to wonder exactly who is this Barack Obama?

Obama's Jihad.  Obama's Islamophilia has manifested itself in ways big and small?in his unflinching antagonism toward Israel and his bowing to Muslim autocrats; in his 2007 comment that the Muslim call to prayer is "one of the prettiest sounds on earth," in his hosting of a Ramadan dinner at the White House while cancelling National Day of Prayer events at the White House.  But it is perhaps most evident in what has become clear about Obama's view of religious freedom:  that God rarely has a place in the public square unless that god is called Allah.

The Truth about Obama's Muslim 'Faith'.  In reality, calling Obama a "Muslim" gives him too much credit.  As G.K. Chesterton once said, "We call a man a bigot or a slave of dogma because he is a thinker who has thought thoroughly and to a definite end."  The truth, however, is that few people have thought thoroughly and to a definite end.  And Obama is no exception.  He hasn't even thought matters through enough to understand the folly of statism.  Even more to the point, he is a moral relativist, a position the antithesis of any absolutist faith.

Is Barack Obama a Muslim?  [Obama] proselytizes for Islamic goals and dreams like a member of the faithful.  He routinely cites his background to establish his Islamic bona fides with the Muslim world.  "I am a Christian, but my father came from a Kenyan family that includes generations of Muslims," he told a Muslim audience in Cairo.  "As a boy, I spent several years in Indonesia and heard the call of the azaan at the break of dawn and the fall of dusk. ... I have known Islam on three continents before coming to the region where it was first revealed."  This is language that falls short of embracing Islam as a believer, but is geared toward telling the Muslim world, "I am on your side."

Now, why would 20% of Americans think Obama is a Muslim?  First, there was the premier interview as president to the foreign press, which Obama gave to an Arab television network.  Then there was the "suck up to Islam" speech the president gave in Cairo, in which he purely made up Muslim history to make Islamists feel good.  Throw in the obsequious bow to the Saudi king.  Throw in Obama's claim on international television that America is "not a Christian nation," but is indeed "one of the largest Muslim nations" (a claim which relied on more faulty Obama arithmetic), and it would take a nitwit not to question the president's credibility on every issue, including his religion.

Michelle Obama made dusk visit to Great Mosque of Granada during Spanish trip.  While President Barack Obama was "forcefully" endorsing the Ground Zero Mosque, Michelle Obama was paying homage with her presence to the Great Mosque at Granada, which overlooks what was once Islam's most important outpost in Europe, the Alhambra palace in Granada.

Barack Obama Vs. Majority Public Opinion.  The mosque raises another festering issue.  The Pew Research Center reports that 18% (one in five Americans) think Obama is a Muslim, and Time magazine puts that figure at 24%.  The number of people who think Obama is a Christian is in a free fall, and 43% don't know his religion.  Rush Limbaugh reminded us of Obama's statement quoted in the New York Times that the Muslim call to prayer is "one of the prettiest sounds on Earth" and that he recited it with a first-rate Arabic accent.  The translation of the prayer call is "Allah is supreme.  Allah is supreme.  Allah is supreme.  I witness that there is no god but Allah."

Obama Sends $6 Million to Global Muslim Sites.  President Barack Obama's faith may not be clearly identifiable, but he's willing to usurp the U.S. Constitutional principle of a strict separation of church and state when it comes to using American taxpayer dollars to restore Muslim holy places.

So Is He a Christian?  [Scroll down]  [Obama] said in his Cairo speech to the Muslim world that Islam is a revealed religion. ... Words have meaning, and if Obama believes Islam was revealed, then he most certainly believes it was revealed by God.  If it was revealed by God more than 600 years after Christ was on earth and contains beliefs wholly inconsistent with doctrinal Christianity — such as that Christ was not God, but a mere prophet — then, in that essential particular, it cannot possibly be reconciled with Christianity.  If Obama truly believes Islam was revealed by God, I can't fathom how he could be a believing Christian.  I don't know that Obama is not a Christian, but I am dubious.

A Relativist, Wrapped in a Muslim, Inside an Agnostic.  Why does a significant chunk of the American electorate think Obama is a Muslim?  Let's count some of the reasons:  he speaks of his "Muslim roots," says he hails from "generations of Muslims," was born to a line of Muslim males and given by them an Arabic name, went to a Muslim school in Islamic Indonesia, speaks glowingly of Islam whenever he gets the chance, holds a Ramadan dinner in the White House, tells his NASA head to turn the space agency into a Muslim outreach program, and last but not least insults doctrinal Christians routinely.

United States Declares War on Arizona, Literally.  [Scroll down]  If that man isn't a Muslim, it sure appears that he would like to be.  I am not in possession of any secret information that proves he's of that faith; but where he lived in Indonesia which is, I believe, almost totally Muslim, and went to a school where you had to be a Muslim to attend, sort of gives me the idea that he is a Muslim.  Don't know about [Ann Coulter], but I'd bet the ranch on it.

Obama sends greeting on Muslim holiday.  President Barack Obama is sending best wishes to Muslims worldwide as they celebrate Eid-al-Fitr, which marks the end of the holy month of fasting and prayer known as Ramadan.

Barack Obama joined Muslim prayers at school, teacher says.  As a schoolboy in Jakarta, Barack Obama attended Muslim prayer sessions with his classmates against the wishes of his mother.  The US President's former grade three teacher said that Mr Obama — who was known as "Barry" when he attended the Menteng One school in Jakarta — studied the Koran and went to classes on Islam, despite the objections of Ann Dunham, a Catholic.

The Limits of Obama's Rhetoric.  In response to public concerns that he is Muslim, Mr. Obama has professed his Christianity.  Most Americans are willing to accept such professions, but some still believe him to be a Muslim, based at least in part on his obvious partiality to Muslims and Muslim causes.  There is no doubt that Mr. Obama was born to a Muslim father, and during his childhood, raised as a Muslim in a Muslim nation.  To observant Muslims, the child of a Muslim father is a Muslim.  Unlike Christians, who may leave a given faith and adopt another — or none at all — with few or no consequences, Islam is not so forgiving.  A Muslim who leaves the faith is an apostate fit for death.  Most Muslims will not try to kill those who leave their faith, but a great many will.  To any truly observant Muslim, by his own public admission, Mr. Obama is an apostate Muslim.

Obama's anti-Israel speech should surpise no one.  The citizens of the United States elected a President who attended a strict Muslim madrassa (parochial school) for two years.  Our current Commander-in Chief, while an impressionable young boy between 6 and 10 years old, bowed down toward Mecca five times a day while praying to Allah.  He studied the Koran, including Sura 7:166, Sura 2:65, and Sura 5:60 and its repeated calls for the transformation of Jews into apes and swine.  Barry Soetoro was indoctrinated, as were millions of young Muslim boys, in the same anti-Semitism that has always been taught in the Muslim madrassa's for the past thousand years.  Let's be very clear, Barry Obama surrounds himself with anti-Semitic advisors who relish the elimination of the Jewish state, attended a church for 20 years where the clergy spewed anti-Semitic hate, and now bows, scrapes and sends millions of US taxpayer dollars to Muslim countries and terrorist groups such as Hamas, who are the most lethal anti-Semites on the planet.

Obama's Mounting Media Manipulation.  [Scroll down]  Even if Obama had paid attention to Al Jazeera's content, it might not have seemed much different from what he had heard for much of his life from his closest mentors.  It apparently never struck him as unusual or troubling when his pastor gloated over the 9/11 attacks as well-deserved payback, or when his church newsletter praised Hamas and supported Hezb'allah.  He had no hesitation extolling Rashid Khalidi as a valuable Mideast advisor, even as Khalidi openly endorsed massacring Israeli soldiers during peacetime — the same thing Nidal Hassan did to US soldiers at Fort Hood.

Obama honors Muslim holiday.  President Obama is extending best wishes for Eid al-Adha, the Muslim festival of sacrifice.  In a White House statement, the president and first lady Michelle Obama also congratulated the millions of Muslims who are performing the annual hajj pilgrimage.

"Soebarkah" most likely name given to Obama upon adoption by Indonesian Stepfather.  [Q]:  Do they usually change the name when there's an adoption by an Indonesian man?  [A]:  Sometimes they do; sometimes they don't.  But I believe most of the time they probably do.  So based on what I have heard or read that he might have been adopted, I think that must be the name given to him at the time of adoption.  Now that is just one name, because Indonesian Muslims don't usually have a surname; they only go by one name.

Congress Knows About His Deceit Yet Allows Him to Remain in the White House.  [I]t is unbelievable that a 'Christian' (and an admitted adult 'apostate' of Islam) would bow to Muslim Kings, would cancel the National day of prayer, would host dinners at the White House for Muslims only, would have Muslims (whose political movement goals are the replacement of our Supreme Law with Sharia law) and other domestic terrorists on his staff, and that there would not be a fatwa of death on his head (for his 'apostasy') by the Muslim world.

Project Obama: A Puppetmaster or a Puppet?  [Scroll down]  The day the Palestinian-American Major Nidal Malik Hasan shot up Fort Hood, killing 13 and wounding 30, Obama was scheduled to give another of his speeches.  As usual, the President arrived late, dawdled a while, finally launched into an interminable acknowledgement routine followed by a shout-out to an Indian chief in the audience, and only then, three minutes into his speech, nonchalantly, almost as an afterthought, mentioned the tragedy, hastily admonishing his listeners not to jump to conclusions about the motives of the assailant (true, he ecstatically shouted "Allah Akbar" as he pulled the trigger, but maybe he was a right-wing agent provocateur agitating against the religion of peace).  Any politician worth his salt would fake concern and grief.  But not Obama, who apparently doesn't see any point going to the trouble.


Obama bows down to King Abdullah

Obama bows down to Saudi King.  I am quite certain that this is not the protocol, and is most unbecoming a President of the United States.

With bowed head and bended knee.  Has anyone ever seen Barack Obama publicly bow and bend his knee when meeting someone prior to yesterday?  I don't recall any photos of such a gesture of greeting, but I would be very happy if some of the President's defenders on the left could provide such evidence that his striking body language yesterday [4/2/2009] before the monarch of Saudi Arabia and custodian of the holy cities of Mecca and Medina was simply a habitual gesture of warmth.

Obama doubles down on the bow to the Saudi King.  The story is officially "in play" now that the White House has spoken, albeit from an anonymous source.  American citizens are implicitly asked to view the demi-prostration and decide for themselves.  The evidence simply does not support the official position of the Obama administration.

The MSM coverup of the Presidential bow before the financier of radical Islam.  You have to look really hard to find it, but the American mainstream media are glancing at the stunning Obama bow before the King of Saudi Arabia, but only for the purpose of dismissing it.

Barack takes a bow.  In a shocking display of fealty to a foreign potentate, President Obama bowed to Saudi King Abdullah at the Group of 20 summit in London last week.  Mr. Obama later said in Strasbourg, France, "We have to change our behavior in showing the Muslim world greater respect."  Symbolism is important in world affairs.  By bending over to show greater respect to Islam, the U.S. president belittled the power and independence of the United States.

President Obama, King Abdullah, and the end of Israel.  During the G-20 summit in London, Barack Obama took time out for a brief meeting with King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia caught on video by two cameras, and by a still photographer, where the U.S. president bowed deeply in greeting the Saudi monarch.  No major American media paid any attention to the startling, unreciprocated bow, gesture of subservience.

A right royal bow row.  Conservative American commentators have accused Barack Obama of "grovelling" to an Arab monarch at the G20 summit in London.  A photo and video footage of the US President bowing to Saudi Arabian King Abdullah at yesterday's G20 meet-and-greet has been doing the rounds on the internet today.  Mr Obama appears to shake the King's hand and then bow from the waist while French President Nicholas Sarkozy looks on.

Obama and the King:  President Obama's tour round the world has been absolutely surreal, as he could not stop making promises he is in no position to fulfill, or apologizing for perceived American misdemeanors he is in no position to prove, never mind redress.  Surely the unforgettable highpoint of this festival of illusion was in London, when Obama encountered King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia.  It's an accepted courtesy to royalty to make a little nod with the head, but film and photographs show Obama bending from the waist in a gesture of humble obeisance, as it were, acknowledging his inferior status.

A tale of two bows.  The protocol travails of Mr Obama's presidential travels are still dogging him back on American soil.  For while he proferred the Queen a deferential nod in his audience at Buckingham Palace, he appeared to deliver a full-blooded and deeply reverential half-body bow to King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia at the G20 summit the next day.

U.S. should bow to no one, not even a king.  The president of the United States does not bow to kings.  He is not only the chief of government, he's our head of state — the equal of any monarch.  The White House says Obama didn't bow, that he "grasped (Abdullah's) hand with two hands and he's taller than King Abdullah."  Sorry, but a videotape on YouTube doesn't quite back that up.  Obama clearly bends his body toward the Arabian monarch, and Obama doesn't grasp both the king's hands until he's standing straight up.

Obama Bows To No One, Unless You're a Saudi King.  Chances are good you haven't heard this one:  that, while in Buckingham Palace last week, milling about with G-20 leaders, the current president of the United States bowed deeply at the waist, one knee bent, on meeting the current King, so-called, of Saudi Arabia, who did not bow back.  Chances are even better you haven't seen the video.  That's because Big Media, from viewer-deprived networks to newspapers considering bailouts, have neither aired the video of the incident nor reported on it.

Liberals and Child Brides:  When I condemned President Barack Obama's deep bow to Saudi King Abdullah, I heard from many readers about President George W. Bush's hand-holding with the same personage.  "What's the difference?" demanded one reader.  Well, hand-holding (while not exactly a welcome sight between the president of the United States and any ruler of a repressive state) is at least a gesture between equals.  Bowing, on the other hand, suggests obeisance.

Obama's Alternate Reality:  You see, it all depends on what the meaning of the word "bow" is. ... Despite the widely circulated video of said event showing Obama kowtowing to some Arab dude, we are expected to believe the White House line that Obama didn't bow.  The word "bow" has thus joined ranks with the word "is" in terms of, well, a matter of definition.  Context, if you will.

Obama: A Profile in Cowardice.  Meet Barack Hussein Obama.  The man who turned his own middle name into a no-go zone during the election, only to bring it out of the closet when he trotted down to a Muslim country.  The man whose associates labeled talk about his Muslim background as racist, only to proclaim his Muslim background loudly and proudly from the podium of a Muslim country.  There's a word for a man like that.  Coward.

Bowing and Kowtowing: Is This A Foreign Policy?  We all remember, just weeks after his inauguration, that President Obama shocked millions of Americans with his low bow before King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia.  Mr. Obama forgot, if he ever knew, that Americans bow to nobody.  And nobody should bow to that desert despot, Abdullah.

Obama prayer speaker comes from group feds say is linked to Hamas.  One of the religious leaders invited to address Barack Obama's inaugural prayer service Wednesday heads an Islamic group named by federal prosecutors as a co-conspirator in a terrorism-fundraising trial in Texas.  Ingrid Mattson, president of the Islamic Society of North America, is scheduled to join Christian ministers and Jewish rabbis offering prayers for the new president and his family during a service at the National Cathedral in Washington, organizers announced Friday.

The National Prayer Service and the Wahhabi Lobby:  Ingrid Mattson, president of the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA), will deliver a prayer at the National Cathedral during the National Prayer Service on January 21st. ... ISNA has close ties with the Muslim Brotherhood, a radical Islamist group, and was named an un-indicted co-conspirator in U.S. v Holy Land Foundation, a case that uncovered covert financing of the terrorist group Hamas.  Since her election as ISNA president in 2006, Mattson's apologias for the radical Wahhabi sect of Islam have gained a much wider audience.

More fallout from Hamas connection to prayer service participant.  Yesterday's American Thinker piece by Winfield Myers on Ingrid Mattson, president of the Islamic Society of North America, who will be participating in the National Prayer Service at the National Cathedral on Wednesday has generated quite a bit of fallout.

What have we done to ourselves, — and why?  Many Americans have been convinced for some time that Obama is a closet Islamic.  After reading the headlines in the January 22, 2009 Fox News First 100 days of the Presidency "Obama is expected to sign 'several' executive orders Thursday [1/22/2009], directing the CIA to close secret foreign prisons and Guantanamo Bay, and limiting detention and interrogation methods" he has given more credence to these convictions.  He is apparently making it softer and easier for Islamic/Muslims to damage the United States.

Obama Gives First TV Interview To Arabic Network.  President Barack Obama gave his first formal television interview as president to an Arabic cable TV network, telling Al-Arabiya that when it comes to Middle East matters "all too often the United States starts by dictating." ... "My job to the Muslim world is to communicate that the Americans are not your enemy," Obama said.  "We sometimes make mistakes.  We have not been perfect."

We may have made some "mistakes":  Obama tells Muslim world.  Accepting that the US may have made some "mistakes" in the past while dealing with the Muslim world, President Barack Hussein Obama has assured them that "Americans are not your enemy" and expressed his determination to resolve the Palestinian problem and diplomatically engage with Iran.

Obama declares US not at war with Islam.  Barack Obama, making his first visit to a Muslim nation as president, declared Monday [4/6/2009] the United States "is not and will never be at war with Islam."  Calling for a greater partnership with the Islamic world in an address to the Turkish parliament, Obama called the country an important U.S. ally in many areas, including the fight against terrorism.

Obama's Muslim grandmother among Mecca pilgrims.  Sarah Obama, US President Barack Obama's 87-year-old Kenyan grandmother, has arrived in Mecca to perform the Muslim pilgrimage of hajj, the Saudi daily Okaz reported Wednesday.  Sarah Obama, one of her grandchildren and 10 people from her village in Kenya made the pilgrimage at the invitation of Saudi Arabia's King Abdullah, the newspaper reported.

Arlington mayor fires at Obama online.  In the opinion of Arlington Mayor Russell Wiseman, President Barack Obama's speech on Tuesday night [12/8/2009] on the war in Afghanistan was deliberately timed to block the Christian message of the "Peanuts" television Christmas special.  Wiseman made the statements on his Facebook page, where he declared Obama to be a Muslim.  Only people on Wiseman's "friend's list" had access to the post.

Obama Continues to Prove He Is a Muslim.  Obama is just doing his duty as the duly appointed Muslim usurper to the Office of the President to deliver America to the world of Islam.  People who scoff at this information will suffer the most when the great seduction is complete and many Christian heads have rolled.  I for one will at least not be surprised.  It should not be a surprise to anyone with a modicum of common sense that this charlatan is faking his way with his not-very-well-hidden Islamic agenda.
